APA Hotel Asakusa Kuramae, Tokyo1 / 28
8.5
Tokyo, 2-4-6, Komagata, Taitou-ku (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is good; I like the Apa chain. There are several other larger hotels of the same chain nearby. The rooms are small, and ours wasn't very comfortable. There was a shelf by the headboard that kept bumping your head, and the window closed in such a way that you'd bump into the corners at night. They could have just installed curtains. Overall, it's clean and everything's fine.
It was a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning.
I have stayed at APA Hotels many times, but this hotel had a hot spring on the upper floor, so I was able to relax in the hot spring. If I were to be greedy, I would have liked the bathtub to be a little larger, but in the city center, this layout is probably the best they can do. I could sense the ingenious design intent. I would definitely consider this hotel as a hotel to stay at next time.
The hotel was close to the subway exit and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was very convenient. The large public bath was on the top floor and had a great view.
Good service staff very nice 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
When I went to Japan near Asakusa, I often stayed at APA. The rooms were small, but I got used to it. It was clean and the location was good! I think it would be good for those who are traveling once to visit.

Tokyo, 2-14-26, Ueno, Taitou-ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Overall stay is wonderful for solo travellers. Room is just nice for 1 person but with limited space to open your luggage. However the location is very convenient and the room is kept cleaned. The hotel does provide parking spaces but is limited to availability and it cost ¥3000 per day, which is cheaper than the overnight coin parking.
Hotel location is good as it is just 5-10 minutes walk from Ueno Station. Breakfast area is small but it still has homemade bread. I asked for high floor & they really put me on the highest floor. Overall experience is very good.
the hotel location is super good! very near to ueno station and ameyoko street. the breakfast is delicious, the bakery is toptier i love shiopan soooo much!
The room is a typical Tokyo single room in terms of space and size. They offer free breakfast, and it's not far from Ueno Station. There are many restaurants nearby that are open late, which is great for those traveling to and from Narita Airport or needing to catch the Shinkansen.
The hotel's location is excellent, but being near Ueno Station means the rooms aren't going to be huge. Despite the small size, the room is very well-equipped. It would be great if they offered free short-term luggage storage after checkout for same-day pickup. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I need to transfer at Ueno Station in the future.
Great location in a quieter part of Ueno too, but still plenty of eateries (ichiran nearby too!) and konbini’s within easy reach. Great and polite staff, breakfast was good liked that they rotated some of the menu daily. Overall good size room, would stay again if in the Ueno area.

Tmark City Hotel Omori Tokyo is fantastic! ✨ It's just a 1-minute walk from Omorikaigan Station, making it super convenient for Haneda Airport and Shinagawa. The room was spotless, the Sealy mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the 24-hour front desk staff were very attentive. Plus, the free WiFi was really fast. Absolutely great value for money, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in...
The hotel is clean and the service is excellent. Its location right next to the subway entrance is incredibly convenient. It's a great choice for business trips. I stay here every year when I'm in town for work.
The location was great and the staff members speak decent English to assist, even offered me with an umbrella when they noticed I’m about to walk out in the rain, shows they cared and high level of service. Room is cozy and clean
Right outside the hotel, you'll find Omorikaigan Station and a convenience store, which is incredibly convenient. The rooms are Japanese-style and small, but they are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The location is excellent for getting around, and overall, I had a really great experience. Definitely recommend staying here!
Good hotel and friendly, they gave me early check in for free !! The room is clean and full of amentities if you are coffee lover they provide coffee capsule in the room too. 😀
Stayed for a night during a layover in Tokyo. The location is convenient, less than 30 minutes from Haneda Airport. The subway exits all have elevators, so it was easy to manage luggage. The room was quiet, clean, and tidy, but the bed was too soft. The triple room was quite small, barely fitting our luggage. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of options. The hotel offers at least 4 free shuttle buses, but they only go from the hotel to the JR station, not back. It would be much better if they had a round-trip shuttle that also went to Disney via the JR line. The hotel breakfast is a set meal with several options. There's also a free beverage bar with drinks and coffee starting at 2 PM. The shuttle to Disney during peak morning hours can get quite crowded...
Easy and hassle free experience to book using Trip. Even booking last minute in the country was so easy using the app. Take note hotel no restaurant but have microwave. And free drink at night time. Free shuttle bus to disney land and sea was great. But if you traveling to tokyo or hello kitty Puroland will be super far. They even have bed rails for kids. They will only clean room if you stay continue...
Easy access to Disneyland & disneysea with shuttle bus! Thumbs up to the free flows of drink from 1400 to midnight.
For our family trip to Tokyo, Tokyo Disney was a must-do, and the kids absolutely loved it. While this hotel is a bit of a distance from the park, they do provide a shuttle bus, and getting to Shin-Urayasu Station is also very easy. The Lawson convenience store right next to the hotel was perfect for grabbing breakfast!
The hotel really beyond my expectation. i would recommend this hotel who want go to disney, they provide the free shuttle bus to disney and urayasu station. the location very quite and nearby the housing, bay and there is lawson infront the hotel. They also give the complimentary beverage all u want to take in the restaurant like coffee, latte, chocolate and tea.
The room was a bit on the small side, and the location was a little out of the way. However, the hotel offers a shuttle service to Disney, which is a big plus.

This hotel is very nice. It has an onsen, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are very friendly and always take good care of the guests.
Opted for the more affordable new building with a balcony, and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was, offering a distant view of Disneyland. We booked two rooms in total. It seems the pricier main building might not even be as well-equipped as this one. My family was a bit puzzled by that!
A popular accommodation with the locals, getting there via shuttle bus is confusing as there are annex and the main building. Waited 35mins in the line for the check in,check out is approx 20mins wait. A good experience of how tatami style is like
We have stayed at Spa&Hotel a couple of times now and have enjoyed every visit. The staff are friendly and greet us as we arrive. Check in and out is quick and simple. We always stay in the Japanese style room with outdoor bath. The room is a good size with tatami mats and futon beds. The views are great as you can see the fireworks at Disney. The only downside is the very bright lights from the sporting...
A bit far and reception did not inform us of bus rides available. Maybe lost in translation but love the balcony and availability for microwave and free lotions for the winter. Have spa and bath tub inside own room. Love the balcony view. Quite some walk to DisneySea but otherwise ok if not for the cold winter.
Great service, spacious and clean rooms, free shuttle bus to Maihama Station (Disneyland) - absolutley great value for money hotel!

It was clean and enjoyable. Being in the countryside, it was very quiet. The lobby was spacious and clean. It's fun to stay with friends because you can watch YouTube and other things.
Conveniently located near to Kiba station. Room was very clean and tidy. Perfect for 1 night. Staff are kind and helpful at the front desk! Would stay again.
Old but gold, near Ito Yokado the department store and supermarket, have a glimpse view of Tokyo Skytree
The hotel was very clean and conveniently located with convenience stores nearby. The sunset view from the room was absolutely beautiful, and the bed was comfortable and wrinkle-free.
As far as hotels go, it's pretty decent. For a hotel in the city center, it's quite affordable, which makes it feel like a great value. I booked a single room for this stay, but they upgraded me to a twin, so the extra space was a nice bonus. It said it was a 3-minute walk from the station, but it felt a bit further than I expected. Maybe it was just because it was cold.
very nice and clean and affordable. i will surely recommend this to family and friends

I loved location with many bars and restaurants around. Great breakfast.
This hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station, accessible from both the North and South exits. Booked this hotel for a business trip during cherry blossom season, so I was definitely looking for good value. Didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised! It was really clean, quiet, and convenient. The Japanese-style breakfast was a nice bonus too!
Functional and modern room for one person. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to Kinshicho train and subway stations
The room was quite clean, and I booked a non-smoking room. The location is convenient, with many restaurants and convenience stores downstairs, and the subway station is less than a five-minute walk away. The service was okay, and it was nice that toiletries like toothbrushes were self-service.

The room is a bit small, more suitable for young people, similar to a youth hostel. It's not ideal for families with children. The location is excellent, very convenient for dining and sightseeing.
The room was small and simple, but very clean, cosy, and stylish (no window though). And hotel’s location quite close to a couple of stations which made it easy to travel the city and its surrounding area. The common room was cosy and full of things guest can enjoy like coffee, snacks, manga, etc. The self service check-in and check-out machine was also easy to use. A very recommended hotel!
Fantastic experience! The hotel service was excellent and the front desk staff were very friendly. It's super convenient as Senso-ji Temple is within walking distance. If you want to be among the first to visit in the morning, this is the place to stay, haha!

I really fall in love with this hotel and surroundings. It is quite near the temple and the station is 10-15 minutes walk. There are also a lot of cafes near there and combinies. Great location. Only 5 minutes walk to Tamachi station. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. This is my second time to stay here.
The room was quite spacious, and breakfast was good. It's a bit of a walk to the subway station though.
The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. The staff, especially the guy who helped us, was very enthusiastic and always had a great attitude. The room was perfectly fine for two people. There are also two convenience stores near the hotel, which were great for grabbing breakfast and late-night snacks!
Facilities: The hotel facilities seem very new. Hygiene: The room is cleaned thoroughly every day. Environment: It's very quiet around here and less than 800 meters from the subway station. Service: Both the staff and the cleaning ladies are very helpful.
I've stayed here three or four times already, always in the annex, and it's consistently excellent. I don't book breakfast because Tokyo has so many great food options; there's no need to eat at the hotel.
Close to the JR station and subway, which was super convenient, even with luggage. They even held our bags after check-out until our evening flight. The room was small, but the location was great with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Amazing, fast check in, nice receptionist. The room is great for one person and it might look small but it offers everything you’ll need. Location is great also!
I usually book APA hotels in Tokyo, but this one wasn't very clean. I don't recommend it, even though it's very close to the metro and train station for Narita Airport (book your express train tickets in advance, otherwise you might end up having to take a local train to the airport, which takes longer).
Even though I had a reservation, they said there were no rooms available. Check-in took a long time.
Very good. Not bad for solo traveller.
Overall it's okay, convenient, close to the train station, complete facilities in the room.
It's great because it takes about 5 minutes to walk from the subway station! It's good value for money and there are a lot of things to see nearby! The service is also good and friendly!

Tokyo, 1 Chome-2-24 Yokoami, Sumida, 130-0015 Tokio, Yaponiya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped. The price was quite reasonable, especially considering it was close to New Year's. The hotel is right across from the train station, making transportation super convenient. It's only one stop away from Akihabara, and even when I came back late at night, there were 24-hour chain restaurants nearby for food.
Everything was great, but it's a bit too close to the subway, and the 'morning call' (from the subway) was a fixed feature.
Close to Ryogoku station yellow line. Beside of Sumida river. Can see Tokyo sky tree from the hotel. Interiors are just normal. Good size and comfy enough. Recommends for travel who are looking for budget friendly and great location.
It's an older and very basic hotel. It's ok just to stay a night with a comfortable bed and a hot shower but don't expect for anything else extra. I can't even find a garbage can inside the room. Front counter service was excellent though. For what's available I think it's a little bit over priced. Another plus it's just right across a JR train station.
Location was good. Room was small and clean. No water or tea/coffee in the room. Aircon did not work and it was warm on my first night. Opening the window was not an option! The breakfast was ok. 2 bottles of water were left outside my door the next day!
Very close to the Ryogoku station! You can literally see the station once you get off the train. Nice place with sumo wrestling atmosphere!

It's been a while since I've stayed at a satisfactory overseas hotel, and remm comes highly recommended. The only downside was no bathtub, but all other facilities were excellent. Breakfast was fantastic value for money. What was particularly rare and impressive was the excellent service from both the front desk and the restaurant staff.
I stayed for 2 nights.  This hotel has nearby restaurants and is located at an exit of MTR.
Great location, good food for breakfast. The room is small but that's the norm in Tokyo.

No frills, no onsen. Mship portal hard to navigate. Near soba ramen shop.
This time I booked the Ginza branch, which is conveniently located right west of GSIX. It's surrounded by high-end shopping malls, convenience stores, drugstores, and long-standing restaurants – everything you could need! I especially loved the 3rd-floor lobby area. It's a really versatile and useful space with the front desk, scenic waiting area, restrooms, a smoking room, and a bar.
This hotel is in the heart of Ginza and it’s just right next to the Ginza six shopping mall. Walking to the nearest metro station is only 3 mins and easy to transfer to any place in Tokyo. But the size of room is small. It’s difficult for 2 people with 2 large suitcases to stay in one room.
This hotel is very well located in the heart of Ginza and provides all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. We were given pajamas, slippers, and other amenities, which was a nice touch. Although the room is small, as is common with most hotels in Tokyo, it is very well located, very clean, and I believe it offers everything needed to enjoy a pleasant stay.
The hotel is located at the heart of Ginza that you can directly get down to the central shopping street. Good for you if you need to shop and put down the stuff you bought. The room is rather old and small, but acceptable and clean. Staff is fair.
Great location, just a short walk from Ginza Station A3 exit (straight, then turn left). There's a Chinese restaurant right outside the hotel. They no longer provide bottled water in the rooms, but everything else was fine.

The hotel is very close to the popular Akihabara and Ginza districts, if desired, you can walk. The service at the hotel is above all praise, everyone is very polite. The room was accepted in its purest form, there was no smell of cigarettes. I hope to see you again!
I really liked the location of the hotel as it's just about 200m away from Ningyocho subway station. There's also not many people and the place is not that far away from the usual touristy areas. Also what I love best is the direct train service to Haneda Airport, no need to change trains. The hotel itself is very much like the standard hotels in Japan. Quiet, kind of small, and near to eateries and...
The location is quite easy to find, near the tram station. If you follow Google Maps, it's about a 5 to 7-minute walk. The room layout is decent; it's perfect if you're traveling solo, but it might feel a bit cramped for two people, as Japanese rooms are generally on the smaller side.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the subway and a convenience store. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and they offered luggage storage. I highly recommend it for solo travelers.
Good choice for a central Tokyo stay with a clean and comfortable room and helpful staff. The location near metro stations makes exploring the city easy. Rooms are a bit small and slightly dated, but overall it’s good value for money. Breakfast and amenities are solid, and the area has restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.

We just booked 3 night at first and we planned to transfer to other hotel if the hotel is not good. Since we really loved the hotel and it's location we extend for another 3 days. We will definitely recommend this hotel and visit again soon. There lots of affordable Japanese restaurants nearby.
The room was clean and tidy, and the toiletries were well-stocked. The breakfast tasted good, but it wasn't specified that each person could only order one item, which led to a small misunderstanding. It's probably a good idea to ask beforehand when ordering next time.
Excellent value for money and great location. As expected in Tokyo, the room is small. However, this hotel provides better amenities vs similarly-priced ones. You have more selection for toiletries and coffee / tea.

Fair location, simple bus or train from Tokyo station and easy to access other areas via subway.  Staff at front desk are fair and manage English quite well.  Rooms are small but what you expect.
