It’s a minimal hotel for a solo traveler as me. The staffs were friendly and professional, they helped me sending a new keycard instead of a forgotten one.

It’s small, but hotels in jap is generally small. Clean and good enough for couple. Lobby also have amenities if u need, even have bath salt , facial mask 👍🏻👍🏻

The room is small but cozy and comfortable. The staff let us keep our bags for free after we checked out! Also, they have a very organized lost and found system. Great location! 3 trains entrances/exits, one is actually steps from the entrance. Rooms were fine, tiny and that was expected. We travels somewhat light and still had to make sure all our luggage was placed in the e correct spot. Pillows and bed were ok as well. Don't know why this place doesn't have better reviews. Location is great, very quiet neighborhood but lots of restaurants and cafes within a 10-minute walk. Very nice place to stay, I had the most wonderful view for only 30 dollars a night. I have stayed at this spot twice so they do a wonderful job for what I believe was only about $30 US for the night. I am a solo traveler and enjoyed having my own bathroom and the rooms are quite cute as well. I enjoyed my stay.

I often see Toyoko Inns throughout Japan, but this was my first time staying at one. The room was very clean and included breakfast. It's about a 10-minute walk to Akihabara Electric Town. There are also subway lines nearby, making it very convenient to get to various attractions.

My experience was very good. The service was attentive and the staff were always willing to help. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay. I loved the Japanese-style breakfast: varied, fresh, and delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend it.

The room was super small, couldn't even turn around in the bathroom. The bedding consisted of a low-quality duvet and a separate white sheet that didn't stay put. Basically no service. The location was alright though.

Even though it's a budget hotel, the room was really spacious – we could easily open three suitcases. It's the biggest budget hotel I've stayed in so far. For under 15,000 yen in Tokyo or Osaka, it's unbeatable.

I’ve stayed at Ryogoku View Hotel (and in the Ryogoku area) nearly 10 times. The hotel is a 1 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk to Sumo Hall. Very good value. Close to many restaurants, and basically in front of the train station.  Beware though that during operating hours you can hear the trains (until 00:30) but for me it was more than okay.

The room was a bit small but surprisingly had a balcony overlooking the subway. The subway station is right downstairs, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making transportation and dining incredibly convenient.

Overall stay is wonderful for solo travellers. Room is just nice for 1 person but with limited space to open your luggage. However the location is very convenient and the room is kept cleaned. The hotel does provide parking spaces but is limited to availability and it cost ¥3000 per day, which is cheaper than the overnight coin parking.

The room is a typical Tokyo single room in terms of space and size. They offer free breakfast, and it's not far from Ueno Station. There are many restaurants nearby that are open late, which is great for those traveling to and from Narita Airport or needing to catch the Shinkansen.

The hotel's location is excellent, but being near Ueno Station means the rooms aren't going to be huge. Despite the small size, the room is very well-equipped. It would be great if they offered free short-term luggage storage after checkout for same-day pickup. I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I need to transfer at Ueno Station in the future.

The place is just okay. As in it has all the necessary amenities you need, it’s clean enough, and it’s just the bare minimum that you need from a hotel. Tokyo hotel rooms are typically small, and this one felt a bit dated. The upside is its excellent location, very close to Mejiro Station on the Yamanote Line, which makes getting to Ikebukuro super convenient.
