Tokyo, 3-18-4 Kamata, Ota-ku (15 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Nice hotel near the train station that allowed us to check in early!
Close to Keikyu-Kamata Station. The room was very nice. Good option to stay if you're flying out of Haneda airport. Had fun exploring Ota City my last night in Japan.
It's close to the station and has a large public bath, so you can relax after a long day of travel. There are many shopping streets and restaurants in front of the station, so it's very convenient. There's also a 7-Eleven across from the hotel, which is convenient.
The large public bath was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely like to use it again.
Good SPA. Break first volumey.
Transportation is convenient. There are restaurants nearby and the large public bath is great. I'd like to use it again.

Excellent service. The staff are friendly and welcoming, with great smiles. There are many restaurants nearby, and the location is convenient for traveling to anywhere you need.
It’s a pet friendly hotel, which I love the most. Everyday can have the chance to meet up new babies. Staff are all friendly, very comfortable stay.
This was my first trip to Tokyo and my first hotel stay in Japan, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. It's also a pet-friendly hotel, so you see lots of adorable dogs every day. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for meals, and it's very close to the subway station. Coming from Narita, you barely need to change lines. Overall...
Everything is perfect..
Also love that this hotel is a pet friendly hotel
The room can only accommodate one large and one small suitcase open at the same time. The bathroom size is decent, not too cramped. This time, I brought an empty large suitcase, and luckily, there was a storage shelf in the room where I could put it. It's clear the hotel made a great effort to maximize storage space in a small area.
As a female solo traveller seeking shopping and safe travel, this hotel is my top choice. The rooms are spotless, quiet and spacious enough for a single person. The shower is over the bath and the water is strong and hot, perfect for winding down after a long day of walking. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the towels are changed and bins emptied daily. The whole room is serviced every three...

Location is great as it’s close to multiple train lines, can walk to the station to different directions. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Every time I come to Tokyo, I stay here. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and tidy. The only drawback is the 10 AM check-out.
Everything is perfect, and will definitely be my choice when I visit Tokyo next time.
The room size is small but it is known before booking. There is a small bath tub.
Glad that they provided drip coffee packets, teabags, toiletries and pajamas. They also have snacks.
Amazing views of Tokyo Tower! The hotel is close to multiple subway lines, making it very easy to get around. There are lots of dining options and a FamilyMart downstairs. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!
This hotel was an amazing experience! The hygiene was impeccable, the facilities were brand new, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. My friend and I had a super comfortable stay. Plus, its location in Hamamatsucho made getting around incredibly convenient. Highly recommended~

Tokyo, 2-2-9 Kotobuki Taito-ku (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
staff are accommodating. Location is a great place, near asakusa station and tawaramachi station. I like the complimentary drinks and coffee.
Strategic location, good service by reception who spoke multilanguages, and the hotel kindly assist if you want to leave/store luggage temporarily while you do shopping before check in or after checkout.
I've stayed at this hotel many times when visiting Tokyo. It's really convenient for transportation, and this time I even got a room facing the street with a view of the Tokyo Skytree!
Japanese lady receptionist has a bad attitude, she seems like she hate her job. Kettle is full of dust. Humidifier not provided in the room.
The room was a bit old, and the bathroom facilities were quite dated. The walls of the room were dirty and showed their age. However, the location was very convenient, with a FamilyMart downstairs, and the service attitude was good.
The hotel's location is excellent; the subway is right outside, making it convenient to go anywhere. It's only a 10-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon. There's a FamilyMart downstairs, and plenty of dining options nearby. The only downsides are the small room, especially the bathroom, and some outdated facilities.

Tokyo, 6-20-8 Shimbashi, Minato-ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Location was perfect, walking distance from all malls in ginza and couple of subway stations. Room was a bit small, but we knew that it's typical situation for hotels in Japan. Breakfast was not something we expected (just 4 types of soup) so we only tried it once during our 5 nights stay unfortunately.
This is an extremely convenient location that is nicely sandwiched between Hamamatsucho and Shimbashi stations -- meaning easy access to central Tokyo and Haneda airports. Rooms are very clean and bed was comfortable. I will use again if I need to be in the area.
First of all i want to say thank you to the girl on trainee, I didn’t have the chance to get her name but i would like to say thank you for helping me out finding a hotel because i landed a day earlier. I stayed here for 5 days on May 5, the room are clean, staff are VERY FRIENDLY and can communicate well, the location is at the back of another building so it’s tough to find it at first. 5-10mins to...
The location is great!!! Shinbashi Station, Daimon Station, and Hamamatsucho Station are all within a 10-minute walk. There's a Family Mart just a minute away, so it's easy to shop around for convenience stores. The room is small, but it's okay if you just want to sleep! I'd love to stay here again next time~~
I travel a lot for business. I dislike cookie cutter multinational chains. This location of APA Hotel in Shimbashi is an excellent property. The rooms are typical Japanese sized which is perfect after a long day at work. Well laid out with a desk space to work. The bed was comfortable. I will definitely return!
It was small, but it was clean and I enjoyed the large screen TV.

Very good value for money! Will come back again
Only stayed for one night but would recommend. Somewhat close to Tokyo station. Checkin and checkout are done via kiosk which was very easy. There is a staff member if you have issues. Room was small but roomier than others I’ve used in Japan. Nice shower. Bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again if I need to be in the area.
Let's start with the positives:
1. Close to the subway station.
2. There's a convenience store and a drug store nearby. There's also a grilled fish set meal restaurant that's great for breakfast; I often go there. The My Basket supermarket across the street isn't great though – limited selection and high prices.
3. The cherry blossoms at the entrance are beautiful.
Now for the negatives:
1. The...
The room was a bit small, but the facilities were clean and I liked that the bathroom and toilet were separate! The young female staff at the front desk was a bit unfriendly, but overall, I'm very satisfied for this price point!
A very pleasant stay! It would be even better if the smoking room had a chair. As a solo traveler, my cigarette is my companion, haha. The hotel's hygiene is excellent.
Great location with convenient access to two different subway stations, both within walking distance. It's a nice, quiet spot at night, yet still close to the action. For Tokyo, the room and bathroom are quite spacious, especially for the price. Very satisfied!

A Hidden Gem That Exceeds Expectations
This hotel is an absolute hidden gem. The location alone is unbeatable—perfectly situated for exploring the city, yet tucked away just enough to offer peace and quiet. The breakfast spread is generous and varied, with something to please every palate. And the cherry on top? A complimentary self-serve bar with wine, beer, and spirits available from 5 to 7 PM—such...
Good location, cleanliness and room was decently big but a little dated. Breakfast did not have that many options, only 4 hot buffet items with 1 being fish, 1 egg and then others mystery.
Located near the side gate of Sensoji, so the main attractions of Asakusa are right at the hotel's doorstep.
Front desk staff, especially the lady, are so friendly. The custodians are understanding and meticulous too.
Body soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided in the room. A dental care set is also provided each day, though if you bring it to the front desk, you apparently get a free gift for...
Generally good hotel, but a bit of a walk from the station (10-15 mins). The only other issue is there's only one elevator, and the lobby is on the second floor so can be quite a wait for the elevator at times. However the room was clean and they even have a selection of pillows to choose from in the lobby.

Conveniently located near Nippori Station, perfect for arrivals and departures from Narita Airport. The hotel's hot spring bath is wonderfully relaxing. After dropping off our luggage early, the staff kindly brought it up to our room for us when we checked in.
Very good and new. Onsen is a plus and the location is perfect for skyliner early morning train to Narita. Take 3 minutes to reach station
Nice and clean hotel located near Nippori station with Onsen in the hotel. This is the 2nd times we stayed in this hotel. The room facilities are very new, and the transportation is very convenient. The Skyliner goes directly to Narita. I recommend getting off at the North Exit because there's an elevator. The South Exit is closer but has steep stairs, which isn't suitable for luggage. There's a machine at the East Exit where you can buy Shinkansen tickets. Nippori is a transportation hub, but it's not large itself, making...
The hotel is new and very clean, and the price is reasonable. For a Japanese economy hotel, the room size is decent; you can easily open large suitcases and still have room to move around. It’s a good budget hotel for families but rooms very small.Close to train station and family mart,7eleven and McDonalds etc.Its near the hospital so you will hear sirens regularly but not that bad can still sleep well.
We get a good service from Mr. Ryoga on helping us to find our Polo head cap. He able to to speak good English with us on the phone and helping us to arrange posting back to Malaysia. Thanks Ryoga.
The room was clean and a good size, but it was incredibly noisy as it faced the main road. Motorcycles and alarms went off all night, waking me up multiple times. I specifically asked the front desk for a quieter room, but it was still very close to the road.

The location is great, close to Hatchobori Station and Ginza, making subway travel very convenient.
The hot spring bath was incredibly relaxing, and they provided a full range of makeup removers.
The complimentary evening ramen was so comforting and really hit the spot.
I also loved the free ice cream and Yakult – a fun bonus!
They even had a good selection of amenities for children.
On the downside...
Great location for access to Hibiya Line and JR. lots of places nearly to eat, especially quite a few Italian restaurants.
I stay at Dormy Inns for the onsens mainly, Ive stayed at quite a few (Ginza, Kawasaki, Aomori, Matsumoto, Seoul etc). Onsen was ok , smaller than others.

The place is quite small and Japanese-style, but it's incredibly well-equipped and has everything you could need. Breakfast was also very good, offering a great mix of both Chinese and Western options. You could find bread, fried eggs, sushi, fresh fruit, and a vegetable salad. It was also pleasantly quiet.

My stay this time was just so-so. The hotel's location is pretty good, with convenient access to Tokyo Station and Senso-ji Temple, and getting to the airport is also easy.

We booked two rooms for four people, and I've already reviewed the other one. The oden at breakfast smelled off, and the strawberry milkshake was sour. I won't go into more detail, but this hotel is definitely one to avoid.
The room itself was fine, but the hotel breakfast wasn't just bad, it was inedible. The oden (Japanese stew) at breakfast smelled rotten – who knows how many days it had been sitting there. The hotel's location is great, close to Ikebukuro. However, the air conditioning in the room was too hot, and I couldn't seem to adjust the temperature properly. The hotel breakfast was also too simple.
For this price and condition, it's a pretty good deal in Ikebukuro. It's a ten-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby to suit all budgets. The room size is decent, and the bathroom isn't too small. It's a good option for business travel, especially the twin room with breakfast for two at around 600 RMB.
I’m very surprised with the price of this hotel, given that it is during the new year period. The service is good, the location is top notch if you are an anime fan. Strong may recommend for travelers.
Great location as it was about 7min walk to Ikebukuro Station. The reception was at level 3 along with ice machine, coffee/tea machine, washing machine with dryer. There’s a Denny’s at level 2 where we have our breakfast and 7-11 at level 1.

Good, clean room and delicious breakfasts. There's coffee and tea, as well as toiletries for washing and shaving, available at the reception.
Excellent hotel, just an 8-minute walk to the subway. It's super convenient to get to Haneda Airport from here. They let us leave our luggage in the lobby for a few hours both before check-in and after check-out. The room was clean, everything was great!
The location is a bit inconvenient, quite a distance from the station. The room was tiny; two people could barely move around inside. My 24-inch suitcase only fully opened when placed on a stool with half of it overlapping the bed. They also don't allow overnight luggage storage.
The room was very clean, which was great. If possible, it would be nice to have a few more options for breakfast. I understand there are issues like food waste reduction and space constraints, so that's just a thought. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Location are super great, in central heart of Tokyo, close to 2 station lines, and also not too far from Tsukiji on foot. Will consider to stay...

It was great having a kitchen since it's an apartment-style hotel, and I think it would be perfect for long-term stays! I'd definitely book it again if my family comes to visit.

Great location. Lots of food and mini market. Worth yo stay
Great property for a family of four. It had all the facilities as promised in the ad. Comfortable, spacious compared to Tokyo standards, near the station and many eateries, if you follow the check-instructions procedures, it will be a breeze. One of the days it rained heavy and the staircase we filled with water, staff cleaned it as soon as possible and was very apologetic.
Highly recommend this...
It’s good value. Especially like the convenience and location. A lot of eateries and some shopping readily available.
The location is convenient, there are great restaurants around the area and a large grocery store with tons of excellent prepared foods. The sushi was fresh and delicious, as good as anything we could get in restaurants as home, also close to train station, very heppy that we chose this location for our tokyo stay.
The room its nice , we stay 4 persons in room , there are 2 bedrooms inside , clean...
