Tokyo, 1-14-3 Shinbashi Minato-ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Very good location and only 1 min to the JR station. Room is clean and tidy but very small. good for single and business stay in Tokyo downtown area. There are many restaurants and bars nearby and you can enjoy so much during your stay.
Great location. Very small room but clean and the bed was very comfortable. Good for single traveler.
Room is small and staff english is weak. Not able to help in providing extra pillows for my family in other rooms
The staff at the hotel were very friendly! They help you with luggage storage on the day you check in and check out. Hotel facilities were decent with laundry machine and vending machine. There is a Family Mart connected to the hotel if you need food at any time. This hotel is a great choice if you want to be close to Ginza and the waterfront area but don't want to pay a premium for the more western...
Stayed here for one night, very convenient location, lots of food options around and walking distance to parts of Ginza.
Facilities were great with a mini mart right downstairs. Really nearby to the train station and near many food places. Would reccommend staying here, espcially since it is walking distance to Ginza and really near Tokyo station (1-2 stops away).

Had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!
This is my first time feeling a hotel was truly worth it!
I stayed on the 16th floor, and the bathroom floor was so shaky it was scary. I was amazed at how the bathroom floor on the 16th floor could be like this. The facilities need maintenance. The air conditioner never turned off, perhaps because it was located in the south-central area.
Fantastic hotel in a good location for the place, closeish to the subway. I had a tatami room which was perfect and bigger than the standard rooms. Great service and very clean. Would stay again.
The view was great and my 3 and 5 year old daughters were delighted. The rooms were also very clean and the children were able to stay there without worry.
There are few places to eat nearby, only a longan dumpling shop, which closes very early. The hotel has three restaurants, all of which close at 10 o'clock. There is a Family Mart, a convenience store opposite, and a 711 next to it. There are many people running behind it.

Tokyo, 2-1-1 Hinode (17 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The facilities are excellent and the conditions are superb, plus there's a sea view. The breakfast quality is incredibly high, almost impeccable. My only suggestion: Currently, the hotel provides a video showing the pick-up spot for the return shuttle from Disneyland. However, by the time you leave Disneyland, it's already dark and hard to see the way. Also, after a full day of fun, foreign tourists...
Spent 1 night at this hotel to visit Disney. Convenient shuttle to the Disney park. 10 minute walk to Aeon mall and train station into Tokyo.
The hotel provides a shuttle bus service to Disneyland and the subway station, which was really convenient for our trip to Disneyland the next day. The only slight inconvenience is that it's a bit of a walk, about 1.2 kilometers, from the subway station. However, the hotel's location around Tokyo Bay is quite peaceful, and you can even enjoy sea views.
Good value for money, but the location is so-so. The front desk staff were very helpful and patient, even though we had to use a phone translator to communicate. However, the breakfast restaurant staff were quite cold and unfriendly.
Found hair on the bed... very disappointing. Breakfast was pretty standard, wouldn't recommend paying extra for it. There's a free shuttle bus, but make sure to ask exactly where the bus stops for the hotel from Disneyland, otherwise, it's very easy to miss.
It’s great where they provide shuttle service to Disney and the train station. It helps a lot especially when you’re bringing luggage along with you from the train station.

The location are convenient, the opposite of hotel are family mart. All good assess to all spot
I stayed here for the Lady Gaga concert. The check-in process felt a bit unclear, and the staff weren't very enthusiastic. However, the location is quite good.
The room had a slight odor, and the bathroom had a bit of a smell, but the location was absolutely perfect.
The location of the hotel is great; it’s close to the metro and train station, as well as several bus stations . The hotel itself and the rooms are however a bit outdated. Staff is friendly, amenities are minimal, and no bottle(s) of water, nor any coffee/tea is provided, unless a member of the chain.
Fantastic location. Clean small rooms but perfect size for single and adequate for sleeping. Just across is Family Mart and one block behind Ginza Six shopping mall. Walking distance to Shinbashi & Ginza subway stations.
An older hotel with a good location. The entrance is quite small, so you'll need to pay attention to the map the first time you go. Even though it's small, it's very clean and not noisy.

A good, comfortable stay. Rooms are a little small - the premier room was tighter than the standard room, so would keep this in mind if you’ve got lots of suitcases.
Excellent and friendly service. Clean and big rooms. Very close to Namba Parks/Station.
Room was relatively spacious yet also close to Tamchi Station and Mita Station
My stay here was absolutely perfect! The hotel's ambiance is elegant and quiet, with no noise disturbances at all. The room facilities are complete and well-maintained, and the toiletries are high-quality. The staff are friendly and helpful, and housekeeping is very prompt. It's also super close to the attractions, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Definitely worth revisiting!
Location is great! Quiet and clean environment. Breakfast was good too! Coffee was very rich! There’s conbini not too far.
Decent room and quite. The cleaning not daily but towels are replace every day.

You book this place for convenience as the stations are close. For an APA , these are the smallest rooms ive ever been in. The staff are wonderful abd breakfast is also good
The room was very cozy, and the bed was larger than usual for a Japanese room, which I appreciated. It had a tea warmer, which was a godsend, a bidet, and a decent amount of channels, one of which showed Blade Runner in Japanese, the best way to watch the film. My only complaint was that the bed only had a comforter and not a sheet, but the staff brought me one once I asked for it, so no complaints...
Just to get this out of the way, the hotel rooms are small if you're in a couple (a bit smaller than I expected). If you're solo, this space would be great. The staff here is incredible and the location is amazing. Very close walk to Akasaka-Mitsuke station which can get you anywhere you need to go. This area is less crowded than other places in Tokyo and the area near the hotel is full of great...
My then-boyfriend (now my husband) will never forget the horrid cigarette smell that enveloped the hallways and seeped into our room. The building in its entirety was outdated and this was when we stayed for two nights back in 2018. Hopefully it has changed.
Very small room but clean. Great location For check in its take a time which is bad for us cuz we need to wait like a half and hour.
Good location, so many restraints and bars nearby. But this APA hotel is one of older models (bath room is dated, bed is not comfortable) and the room is really tiny. I also stayed at newer APA hotels which were much much nicer (upgraded bathroom, bed and a larger room). There is no laundry so not recommended for long term stay.

Nice large lobby with good selection at buffet .
It's a long-established hotel, and the check-in staff was very smooth. I wish the breakfast staff had a bit more dignity. It was a rare hotel these days, with a large number of Japanese people.
The hotel is overall old fashioned, although they are talking about SHOWA era. The key is not digital one. There is no in house landromat and it takaes about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, which is inconvenient. The variety of breakfast is o.k.. They should serve Japanese backwheat noodle instead of wheat noodle, which is healthier.
Used for a live show at Tokyo Dome The room was bigger than I expected. I could spread out my luggage. The bathtub was big! The neighborhood was quiet There was a convenience store nearby
As soon as you open the door, you're greeted by the bed. It's cramped!! but it wasn't a problem since I was only staying overnight for work. There was no space to spread out my suitcase, so I opened the closet door to make room for it. The bathtub in the bathroom looked old, but the walls, floor and toilet were all new and clean. It was very convenient as it was close to the station. The front...
This is my second time here. The twin room is very spacious and comfortable! The location is as good as ever. I want to stay here again when I come to Dongdan in the summer, but unfortunately there are no rooms left.

Not far from the subway station, with many dining options nearby. It's very good value for money, and the key is that the hotel has hot springs, which is really a nice touch. However, the lack of smoking rooms might be inconvenient for smokers.
Good location with many restaurants near by and a 24 hour Don Quijote with in 4mins walk from the hotel. Staff were nice and helpful. Also, lots of shopping malls within the Ikebukuro Station. Included all the amenities within the lobby which you can pickup yourself, and a free drink machine at the lobby as well. Would stay again if near the area. Distance to the subway station is reasonable around...
Great, free drinks bar from 5.30-9.30pm , public bath and free amenities.. cozy and customer service is great especially someone who can speak English. Special thanks to Sagun for her help at front desk. Help us out with luggage courier enquiry and helped us to check buses to Narita Airport. To improve- toilet in room has strong odour and lack of ventilation.
Thank MIYU During my trip to Japan, I stayed at this hotel. The front desk staff, MIYU (an intern), left a very deep impression on me. I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time, and my English is not very good. However, MIYU could already understand what I wanted to say before I finished my sentence. This shows that she truly understands the needs of customers and is very empathetic...
The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro subway station. There are also plenty of restaurant options nearby, especially many Chinese restaurants, which is perfect for anyone craving Chinese food.
## Amenities The onsen (hot spring bath) was excellent, and it's complimentary! I stayed for two nights and made sure to enjoy the hot spring every day. While the hotel lobby isn't large, there's a cozy lounge area on the second floor that offers free drinks. The absolute highlight for me was the luggage scale they provided – what an incredibly thoughtful touch! Since Ikebukuro East was our last destination...

The bathroom always smell like mold, I think it’s the curtains because they’re made of cloth. Every APA hotel I stayed in had that same smell in the bathroom. I really do like the large TV facing the bed, and the easy to use remote. They always have great movies and in English. Sometimes the price is a little too much, but if you book it far enough in advance, it won’t be.
First time ever staying at an APA Hotel and probably the last. Stayed here for 2 nights because of its location to Keikyu Kamata Station and Kamata Station and leaving for Haneda airport after that. The exterior looks beautiful, but the building itself feels old. There is an atrium in the middle of the building which seems weird to me. It feels like it use to be an apartment block and now converted...
APA Hotel Kamata is my first hotel stay in Japan since I came to Japan in April 2022. I stayed here for a total of 8 days due to coronavirus restrictions. However, the hotel is super luxurious. Nice and clean business hotel with a perfect location. However the rooms were the smallest among 3 business hotels we stayed in during our trip.
It's a decent budget hotel, but you have to pay attention to the bed size. Our bed was quite small for two, but overall it was comfortable. It was fairly clean, cleaned every three days. The carpet was a bit dirty. Everything else was fine.
The hotel is situated in a silent area, very nice for night walks. There are a lot of well-designed buildings, which are very nice to see and explore. The subway is quite convenient for a lot of Tokyo’s sights and locations.
I was glad that I couldn't hear any noise from the next room. The staff were very friendly and polite. I would like to use it again.
It was convenient and easy to access, and the area was safe so I could use it safely even at night.
Rooms are small but as we were not in it most of the time, it was worth the price. Service was good and rooms were kept pretty clean with amenities provided. Was located close to the train station with two different lines.

Typical Japanese hotel, small room but fully equipped and very quiet. No complaints, other than the price.
Strategic to stay if wanna shopping and visit around Shibuya + Ginza + Shinjuku. 10mins walk to Shibuya stations. Near to good cafe options + shopping area. Wish have onsen.
Nice location for shopping and restaurants. The room is small but clean and the bed is comfortable.
For a short stay everything is ok..book with breakfast and they have set of 4 kinds breakfast to choose..I chose the mackerel meal it was good 👍
The 1.4-meter bed was too small for two people. I'll have to come back to Tokyo when I'm richer. The location, however, was very convenient, less than a ten-minute walk to catch the JR in the morning.

It's only one subway stop from Senso-ji Temple, making it perfect for an early morning stroll there, or heading the other direction to Ueno...
The hotel was great! It's close to the subway, and the cleanliness was excellent. The room was a bit small, but that's pretty standard for hotels in Japan 😂. Being able to open two suitcases was a plus, and the laundry facilities were convenient and affordable.
The hotel is easy to find and conveniently located for getting around. The bathhouse downstairs is great and definitely recommended. They even gave us two drink tokens at check-in, which we could use for free drinks from the vending machine.
The room was larger than expected, with enough space to fully open a 28-inch suitcase, and the layout was well-proportioned. Plus, it has a large public bath, which is a great option for those who enjoy soaking. It's also very close to both the subway and JR stations, making transportation convenient.
The A4 exit of the subway station is the closest. Breakfast is consistently good, and there are restaurants, convenience stores, and Senso-ji Temple nearby. If you're visiting Tokyo, this is a great choice.
A few minutes' walk from Asakusabashi JR station and metro station but note there are stairs to navigate. Hotel's bath was a main draw and I did not use the room bath at all. Generally courteous staff.

The room was nice and well-maintained, though a bit small as expected in Tokyo. There was still enough space to open luggage, which was a plus. The only downside was that the elevator could be quite slow at times. Overall, a comfortable stay.
This hotel's location is super convenient, just a short walk to Shimbashi and Ginza. Right outside the door are tons of great restaurants. The only thing is the rooms are much smaller than those in Nihonbashi.
The standards at Daiwa Hotels are always consistently good. The front desk offers a self-service station with coffee, toiletries, and other amenities, which is quite well-stocked. The location is neither too close nor too far from the subway station – just a two-traffic-light walk – and it's relatively quiet.
Very conveniently located, close to the Shimbashi station. Very attentive and friendly staff at the reception. Everything was clean and well kept! Would definitely book here again
Conveniently located near Ginza, with Shimbashi Subway Station just a short walk away, making it easy to get around.

Near the station, quite a lot of place to eat. Free bottled water only on 1st day. There was a flying bug on 1 of my group's room. There was also a case where 1 of my group's room got cleaned and then they forgot to put the soap bottle back.
Clean and comfortable, it just takes 5 minutes to the train station.
My experience at APA hotel was actually really wonderful. My best friend and his friend (and her daughter) and myself stayed at this hotel for about 6 days. The train station is in close proximity to the hotel and is literally within walking distance. There’s a local McDonald’s in case you’re homesick for some modified American fare. You’ll receive a voucher for breakfast which is served here daily...
Location is decent. Close to a station and plenty of stores and restaurants. The major setback to this hotel is the cleanliness of the room. Dusty and walls are filthy. The coin laundry is ineffective and I would recommend using the local store ones near by. Finally the location is amazing. It's like a small town where everything is only minutes away. Cozy area.
This hotel is roughly a 5 minute walk from the train station. You can literally see the hotel from certain platforms in the station. From my room, if the window opened, I could just jump out, run across 2 tracks and climb a platform and be at the station. Given the proximity you are likely wondering if you can hear the sounds of the station. The answer, for the most part, is no. I have heard one horn...

Right at the Roppongi subway exit, which is super convenient. I usually choose Fresa Inn when I go to Japan because of their great locations.
