The service at check-in was disappointing. I had a good impression of the Dukes Hotel at Hakata Station because the staff were very kind and polite.

We appreciate your courteous assistance with inquiries about parking, etc. The classic atmosphere was very pleasing to our companions. We would like to use your services again.

The double room was small, while the twin room was slightly larger. The towels were old, but thankfully I brought my own. A woman's hair tie was found on the bedside table after the phone was moved aside; it was clearly not cleaned. The location is near Hakata Rivera Mall, about a ten-minute walk from the Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall.

There was a wonderful staff the location is quite good. the transportation is quite convenient, 10 minutes walk to Tenjin, 20 minutes to Hakata.

I stayed here for a training session. Payment could only be made on site, so I thought it would be nice to be able to pay in advance with a credit card.

The hotel is close to Kawabata Shopping Street and there are 5 food stalls next to it. The rooms are clean. The view from the rooms is not so good because of the neighboring buildings. Breakfast is available at the hotel, but we did not use it this time. The location is very good for visiting Nakasu. There are two parking lots near the hotel, and it costs 1500 yen per night.

The location is incredibly convenient; you can walk to several major shrines and shopping areas. The hotel also granted a late check-out, and the room facilities were great. Although small, it had everything we needed, offering excellent value for money.

There are some yellow stain along the grout of the bathtub. Room 301 and maybe rooms beside the lifts will hear the lift working in the silence of the night. Bathroom is good size. Next to nice restaurants and shrine.

Stayed here for a quick trip and the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Hakata Station. It made catching the Shinkansen and exploring the city incredibly easy. Very nice resort in the Kirishima mountains. Nice big rooms with a nice balcony. Free shoju is provided in the lobby nightly. Lots of toys and activities for families and kids. Great public onsen area with numerous indoor and outdoor pools. Great selection for dinner and breakfast buffets.

The onsen is big and amazing. The buffet dinner and breakfast are sumptuous with quality food! The room is spacious and comfortable. The only setback is the hotel is quite old and dated in the common places. With the quality food and best onsen, it's still a value for money hotel to be in.

Hot spring hotel in an area renowned for its hot springs. I deliberately chose the Japanese tatami-style to experience more of the local culture. At southern part of Kagoshima city, it's a bit far from downtown. But the adjacent Marine restaurant Compira Maru is very nice. Fresh sashimi and sushis of various marine delicacies are available at reasonable price.

The room was spacious enough and relatively comfortable The reception was working 24 hours but they hardly spoke any English but we got by just fine on our phones There’s free coffee in the lobby and free lounge wear.

It was about a 40-minute walk from the nearest station, so it was inconvenient for people without cars. The washlet took a long time to warm up. There's a parking garage next to the hotel. Was offered free parking by the staff at check-in which is a bonus. It's at a central area with many restaurants nearby. Room is the typical Japanese size and standard which is sufficient for 1 night stay. Staff are friendly. there's a max value supermarket just around the corner.

very normal hotel and maybe a bit old. fixed bed lamps and women's onsen shelf doors are tilted. onsen hair dryer is also not of high quality. there is no lounge or desks to work in both the lobby and the bedroom so might not be suitable for business trips. im not sure why the rating is so high because nothing particularly stood out to me.

I booked the smallest room and I was surprised how functional it was! It had everything you would need. The staff and the hotel were all great. Breakfast was variable. The only drawback is that the window doesn't open and it is not transparent, so some light goes in, but it is impossible even to see outside, let alone get fresh air.
