If you have the chance, definitely take this tour. Ideally, bring school-age children. They'll find it educational and engaging. They'll be able to feed the fish and learn how many different types of sturgeon there are. They'll also learn about the differences. We didn't regret going. 👍

The hotel was gorgeous and very comfortable. The spa and pool was a bonus! I gave it a four because I had to call the desk 3 or 4 times to request basic items like extra toilet paper and extra towels because no one cleaned the room when I had requested it on day 2 of our stay. Stayed for 7 days on business. The best thing is a gym adjacent to the hotel with a swimming pool, machines and a sauna. Very good wifi connection. Breakfast and food offer for dinner in the restaurant downstairs is nice overall as well. Rooms are standard but comfortable. The only thing is that aircon is noisy but can be disconnected. This is the second hotel I stayed at in Almaty. It's definitely an old-money style hotel. The hotel is located near the Koktobe cable car, which is convenient for getting around. We had an excellent stay at this hotel. This was made all the better by the extremely helpful Bek who did everything he could to help with travel arrangements for the next leg of our journey and to ensure we had a great experience at the hotel.

Good breakfast, business lunch is terriable and the restourant not so good. Room is more or less is OK, but no cleaning on snow in front of the hotel from ice.

Well, 5 stars in the conventional sense for this hotel is frankly a bit much. But, in General, a good impression. On a solid C grade. There is a SPA with a swimming pool, apparently it got awarded 5 stars. But water treatments failed to treat myself, so the rating in this part does not give.
