The level of service doesn't match the stated level.
The bathroom is in terrible condition.
The drain in the shower stall is clogged, and it's not fixed during cleaning.
The shower faucet closes under its own weight, requiring a hand to hold it in place.
You can shower in the bathtub, but the drain blocking valve is damaged, and the shutoff mechanism is broken. The valve is simply installed in the trap with blue tape 🤦🏻.
The valve is difficult to remove, but it can be done. The faucet in the bathtub has no pressure, allowing for a good body wash, but washing your hair is extremely difficult.
There's no ironing board or iron in the room; they are provided upon request, with a 20-30 minute wait. The ironing board is far from fresh, and a thin, multi-purpose cover is stretched over a dented metal frame, causing it to dangle in folds. There's no door lock (latch or chain), and the switch on the lock doesn't prevent hotel staff from accessing the room. Waking up to a service representative walking around the room is a real experience. I encountered this after the first night, and I've since put up a "do not disturb" sign.
If your room isn't cleaned in the morning, for any reason, it won't be cleaned that day without your reminder.
