Such a fantastic hotel lovely staff, great food and drinks. Service is excellent and the staff are so friendly. Really enjoyed my time there.

The reception could not be bettered and continued in a friendly nature throughout my stay. My room was always spotless and the staff very helpful. It was my first stay in a Gruphotel and I was a bit surprised by the lack of welcome pack ( water/glasses/information about the area/bathroom bits etc etc). But now I know what to expect. I appreciated the fridge and the balcony was excellent.

We booked this hotel on the premise of the description on line. it did not mention that the photo shows the pool and hotel but not that behind the camera is a very busy noisy main road, the main bus route with buses every few minutes. We are a group of golfers who have returned to this hotel for the past fourteen years. We love the friendly atmosphere, the modern beautiful bedrooms, the superb dining room, catering for all tastes, the lounge areas, outside pools and the very friendly staff, in all areas. Also it’s position, 50m from beach, and surrounded by it’s dramatic landscape. Great walking area.

Our stay at the Reverence Mare was a very romantic one indeed. It was just what we wanted and needed and I highly recommend the swim up pool rooms. Four stars hotel in an excellent location, friendly, helpful staff. We had a good room with balcony and nice view. Tap water isn't suitable for drinking, so it's an idea to get bottled water as soon as possible, there's a supermarket nearby.

It was my first time traveling alone, which was very exciting, but I felt completely taken care of at Hotel Dunas. The service was excellent and the staff were polite and attentive. The A2 bus from the airport takes you directly to the hotel, which is located near the beach and offers beautiful surroundings. The hotel has three swimming pools, but they close at 7 p.m. The room was small but comfortable, with the toilet and washbasin outside. We also had breakfast, which was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes.

A very good hotel 🏨, quiet, 80% of the tourist are from Germany, this means everything is in Deutsch language 👎(no complaints just so you will be aware). The pool is very nice (looks beautiful ) but zero activities or fun at the pool for kids. The depth of the pool is max 1.45 m. The drinks on the bar 🍻 are bad. Not a pleasant experience. We checked in late and the rooms were not ready. We had to make the children's beds as there were no maids available. Water for drinking is not available in the rooms. For a 4-star hotel, it is very poor in terms of entertainment, has little variety of food and only offers food at 3 times, breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Went here for a couple of days and was absolutely amazing even compared to other universal hotels! Everything was super professional. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the location but a nice path around the shore for those who enjoy a morning run. We had an absolutely fantastic stay here for a week. Our room was excellent with an amazing sea view that really couldn’t have been better, and all the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Did not particularly like the resort of Arenal but the hotel was clean , staff friendly and efficient . Unfortunately the sun did not come onto the pool until 11.30am and was gone by 4.30pm but it was only a few minutes to the beach . My only criticism was I found the bed hard but overall the hotel is good value for money and would recommend if on a budget .

Stayed 5 days, this is a great hotel! Breakfast had a good selection including made to order omelettes and freshly squeezed orange juice. The front desk staff are all incredibly helpful and made sure we were comfortable. From my expirience this hotel has very good location. Brekfast and diner were very good whit a lot of choice what to eat. Rooms needs update because the bed was not that confortable and also pilows were too hard. Generaly I would say was OK and value for the money. I can recomended it.

We visited in late October, just before the hotel closed for the season. The rates were significantly reduced, allowing us to experience a spectacular hotel for a more affordable budget. The view from our room was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to help with any queries we had and the breakfast was delicious. We will definitely aim to visit again.

My girlfriend and I took our son here for a week and the apartment was pretty nice and we were happy with the size of it, however the air conditioning was absolutely terrible. It can't even be called air conditioning, but at the same time, it wasn't broken. We could feel the cold coming out from it and hear it running, but the room itself didn't get cold. The hotel overall is nice, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast offered a good variety of food to choose from. However, dinner was a major disappointment. I strongly recommend avoiding the half board option. Despite having access to plenty of high-quality local ingredients, it’s unbelievable how poorly the dinner was prepared. It was truly a disaster.

Spent 3 nights with my family here in the apartments section. Had a pleasant experience. The people at the reception were genuinely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Marga. The buffet was great 👍, both breakfast and dinner. The servers at the restaurant were also warm, welcoming and professional. Highly recommended for families with kids.

Lovely hotel, clean and bright, the beds are super comfortable, we had a room on the roadside, the noise didn’t bother us at all, but I’d book a poolside view, because the gardens are beautiful, the food was plentiful and there was a good variety of, is have liked more meat variety, it is very much catered for the vast German guests, as is the entertainment, which I found lacking

Parking was tough but possible. Area around had good places to eat. Hotels elevator was broken and didn’t have a bell hop or a cart to use to bring one bags all the way up to the 4th floor. My husband and I had to bring them one by one from the lobby to our building and then lift them to the 4th floor. Pricing was a bit high, more like a large hotel price, but you weren’t getting the large hotel amenities...

This hotel is great for families. It gives you a resort style of place without any of the resort amenities. Has 2 big pools (although you have to wake up super early to get chairs and an umbrella). Has a cala which is so convenient. It's about an 18 minute walk to the town centre. Has restaurant options about 100 metres away. This place was incredible. Not sure why some people comment negatively about it. Pools are lovely, the rooms were cleaned every day except Thursdays and Sundays which was never an issue. Yes, the rooms are not as fancy as the sister hotel, but that hotel just had a renovations. We will come back again to the same property . The location is the best. Seriously cannot fault anything.
