Where to stay with kids in Majorca island

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, today and pleasant. The food was superb a the pool experience was superb. Great bike storage facility too. Booking to go again.

I definitely recommend a pool view - the balcony was a suntrap but it was noisier in the evenings due to the entertainment and stage (luckily it didn’t bother us as our kids are deep sleepers!)

We travelled as a family of four (8 year old and 2 year old daughters) and the one bed apartment was excellent - a kitchenette area with a microwave and fridge was a real added bonus for us

We have just returned from a short stay (4 nights) and we loved every minute. We got a real bargain and we were blown away by the quality of the drinks and choice of food for the price we paid

Just checked into this gorgeous hotel, rooms are stunning and spotless. The team are so friendly and helpful! Great location on the beautiful lake and 3 mins from the sandy beach

Mosquitoes weren’t an issue for us but we did take deterrent bracelets as id read previous reviews

Never had to worry about reserving sun beds too ! Stayed here with my daughter and 4 year old granddaughter she loved the kids club. Rooms kept really clean and tidy the hotel was beautiful

It’s not in a traditional Majorcan village as it’s all very new hotels and apartments, however a walk to harbour or a small local bus ride can take you to the real Majorca

Great location, newly refurbished rooms and facilities, comfy bed and great staff. Bruno on the reception made us feel very welcome, all ladies were also helpful

We paid extra for a sea view on one of the top floors. Amazing views of sea and a spacious balcony to relax. We booked bed and breakfast and staff helpful and attentive

What a lovely hotel , set in a nice area. Not too commercialised which we loved. Staff super friendly and welcoming. Food was very good would stay here again

They had a separate pool and children’s play area to the side of hotel, that did not encroach on the main area. The roof top bar has amazing views with comfy sofas and swing seats

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and had not one but two balconies! We had a lovely view of the pool and the perfectly manicured grounds, which made it feel like a true escape

Room were a bit dated, but comfortable and had everything you could need. The pool and grounds were clean and very relaxing. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. What lowers the score was the spa

The golf courses were in excellent condition, beautifully maintained and a real pleasure to play. The only small downside was that pros can book tee times only one day in advance, which makes planning a bit challenging

The food in both restaurants at the hotel was to a high standard with more than enough choice on both menus. Well done to all the team members. Thank you for making our stay memorable

Overall, everything else was outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here

The end result looked like something I would do myself (bad) and she filed the nails so low and rough that 2 nails tore that week. The same spa receptionist who did my nails also massaged my partner

Playa Mar and Spa is a perfect destination for a family with young children with so much to do both within the hotel and outside in Polenca

Freddie and Angela run a tight and well organised ship and the experience is first class. The pools are good for both adults and children and again, spotless each day

We stayed for a week for October half term with several generations of family, including young grandchildren Firstly the staff, with the exception of one man, were friendly and helpful

Mixed feelings about this hotel - the pool area was nice and our child thoroughly enjoyed it. The location of the hotel was also great with only a few minutes walk to the bay

The entertainment team, headed by Paul, Andrea, Sami and Steffen are excellent and really put their hearts and souls into the disco and other events. Our children loved these events

Surrounding the hotel is the glorious pine walk which leads to the port town with lovely sandy beaches and sea that is warm and easy to swim or paddleboard in

A child vomitted in the pool and unfortunately the parents didn’t tell anyone which resulted in the issue being reported later by another parent so the pool had to be closed and cleaned

We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers in 2 junior suites. The rooms were spacious and clean

Lovely location with good access to beach and local sites. Buffet breakfast a bit of a bun fight with lots of small children running wild and constantly cold and tasteless coffee. Good selection apart from that

We had a very nice stay, just not everyone wants to hear their family on the toilet

There is a constant chorus of screaming crying and tantrums which in the buffet was really overstimulating! But I won’t mark the hotel down for this as this is out of their control but people should bear this in mind when booking

Beds were huge and comfortable , but what’s with these totally open bathrooms? No privacy at all and I need more than a too small frosted glass door between me and my husband when he’s having a poo!!! The hotel was lovely

We stayed here for 10 nights on a family holiday. Our apartment was nice and clean with everything we needed. The kids loved the choice of pools

We had one of the apartments with a lovely patio area close to the pool. We are in the restaurant for both breakfast on each morning and one evening for the buffet. The area is surrounded by German restaurants and pubs

Although the entire staff maintained top-notch cleanliness, I think the hotel should be given a facelift. There was something for everyone. It's a shame that you have to pay for everything. Pool towels require a deposit

Light, airy, clean, comfortable and well resourced apartment set in lovely, clean, inviting grounds so close to the beach with views of the pools and gardens - we will return!!

Lovely hotel to spend holidays( 10 days was super to spend there), breakfast nice, dinner good, room is perfect, staff friendly. A lot of food places aroud, easy to get transport, beach 2 min walk.

Visiting family on the island during off season.  The Lindner is open year round and a good alternative to the Hilton, where I Usually stay due to status. Hotel is a good location, quiet and service is great

The property is large enough that they didn't bother other guests, but it was contained, so we never felt ill at ease—one of the best vacations we have had since becoming a family

My partner played golf and I used the pool and went to the beach (illetas) using the complimentary taxi shuttle service which is a fantastic option as it’s a bit too far to walk

The kids' offerings are fantastic, and we felt completely comfortable letting our kids run free in the kids' pool/club area

We stayed in a room with a pool view~ incredibly spacious and great bathroom. The gym is excellent and breakfast very good

Cannot praise enough this hotel. It totally exceeded my expectations. Everything - the quality, service are equivalent to a 5* although this is a 4* hotel. Great location and facilities. Good safe area and close to Palma

With or without a view of the stage, the view of the pool was lovely and I’d highly recommend getting a room that side of the building if you can

The hotel staff were very nice and we never felt uncomfortable bringing in food from outside of the hotel - even to eat by the pool! We would definitely go back again, the value for money is amazing!

One bar by the pool-area and one inside, with a various choice of drinks. The main pool is 1 meter deep, but there is a childrens pool area as well

Supermarket next to the shop is very expensive that's the only negative, spar down the road half the price. Hotel wristband is unique and allows you to access your room, pay in the bars and the shop

The pools were amazing and they even had a bouncy thing in the water to entertain older kids (and adults who are kids at heart) The location was perfect, very close to the beach and there was an Aldi close by

The outdoor pools were too cold to make the most of at this time of year but we were pleased to be able to use the heated indoor pool. Our daughter Loved the mini disco and our teens enjoyed the sports court every day

This hotel is great value for the location, and has superb facilities for adults and children. There is plenty going on for all, but also quiet areas for those who want it

I really enjoyed my week with all my children and grandchildren here. The staff were great and the facilities were very good also. The food was consistently very good.

So let me start by saying if you are travelling peak season and you are a family with children of mixed ages then I would recommend the Zafiro Mallorca

To set the scene, we are a family of 4 with a child of 10 and a teenager of 19

No stress that you have to be up at 6m to claim a bed, I found that people started to sit around the pool from 9. 30am onwards in preparation for when the pool opened at 10am

Workers cleaning really early in the morning the pool areas floors. All the staff were friendly and extremely polite. We ate out alot but what we did eat in the hotel was lovely too

The hotel is outdated but atmosphere here is great…. The animation team is the best … I have never met before that great team…

The rooms are very clean, and the premium pool area was also great. The only thing I would suggest is that the snacks had a cover over them to stop the insects landing on them

Boys from animation especially: Billy Zino Amino Gringo are very friendly and looking after the customers here…

Me my husband and our 5 friends stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. We booked premium, and although some of this was closed due to the time of year, we still had a great stay

One evening we did have to que for the restaurant, but this was only because the weather was bad that day, and the outside seating area was closed. You will always find something to eat, freshly made pizza, and omelets

It's a nice resort, well located, just by excellent beach, one of Majorca's Top 5. Food is okay, don't expect anything extraordinary, just fine food, with some bits so-so and sometimes something very nice

There are only very small nitpicks to the hotel itself, such as minor maintenance issues and the pools being a bit on the cold side in mid September, but overall not enough to justify subtracting any points

Amazing hotel we brought our two daughters 6 and 3 and they didn't want to leave. Kids entertainment was amazing and alot of effort put in. Girls loved the loom band making and pumpkin carving

Love the fact its on the beach so you have the best of both worlds swimming pool day or beach day! Plenty of food choices at buffet something for everyone and very tasty!! Thank you to everyone for making our trip memorable!

Can't say much more about the resort, we've not used any non-heated pools or evening entertainment (which I'd rather call a nuisance), it's the beach that is the best asset of this place and it was the main reason we went there - apart from heated pools

However, with beach proximity, heated pools were not really important. There's one heated pool for adults only and one mixed, so it's full of kids

We spent our time at the family pool which was so lovely. Snacks were available just after breakfast and ice cream too

There is a shuttle bus to and from the beach and you can also pay to get on the train (we did this and loved it) All inclusive ended at 10pm and it was €8 for 2 double tequila and pineapple juice (definitely more a triple but I wasn’t mad about this ha) Staff friendly and I found all the guests I spoke to to be really friendly too

The hotel is definitely catered towards French guests (especially the entertainment) but it’s not in an uncomfortable way and we never felt left out. They had themed nights on- Mexican etc

Food in restaurant varied and reasonable quality but lukewarm. (There is a microwave in the dining area)

Rooms were massive, maintained okay but always cleaned and fresh towels/bedding provided when needed. The layout of the hotel is massive and my room was just on the outside of the hotel

It’s well lit at night but I did find the walk on my own a little bit scary. There is also a shop which was a 5 minute walk from the hotel

A few kid "accidents" in the pool while we were there. Pool food service slow during rush hours, but altogether friendly. Beach has a rotten egg smell every so often, not the best option if you like clear water

Like in all hotels, not enough pool chairs, but they don't allow guests to block them by leaving towels on most days. Bottom of pool is not clean, hair in the water. could use a better pool maintenance system

The hotel has a fantastic location, right on the beach. The swimming pool is very clean, and there's free parking in front of the hotel

Reception staff unwelcoming, cold, not interested in assisting guests. a warm welcome and a heartfelt smile goes a long way but was absent here

Wonderful stay, staff work hard to make sure your stay is pleasant. Seaside pool view is beautiful, room is large, and the food in the restaurant is delicious.

I would challenge anyone to find a hotel that could compare. For the price, you won't find anything which could compare to this place. We have stayed here twice now and will likely come back again

Good hotel for family with kids because there were nonstop events until post 10pm so it’s quite loud and noisy. The bed was not very comfortable-it’s too soft and squeaky and not giving much support for my back

We made good use of the excellent gym facilities and enjoyed lovely walks along the beach. The pool area is also very nice. We were bed and breakfast only, but the breakfast offerings were superb

We found the gardens and outside spaces excellent no problems getting sunbeds and the pools were very good, also the room service was excellent cleaned everyday to a high standard

Cocktails are great depending on who makes them again no consistency , as with the food no where near 5 star a lot was barely warm and very poor combinations

people made us feel home! We need to name people at the restaurant: Pepe, Andrés, Juan (do not listen to his dad jokes!) and the management team led by Cristina, Martín, Candela and Manuela

Overall it was a great holiday The pros: -The food was great, didn’t have a bad meal at all -The entertainment team were great -The pool was nice -Close to one of the best beaches -A few convenience shops across the road a 5 minute walk to more shops and restaurants -Proper cocktails made to order which are tasty however, very little alcohol in them and you would need to have quite a few to feel...

They are definitely not! After 3 nights we got moved to a different apartment which was as we'd originally expected so we were happy with that but we could have done without the hassle of moving apartments and the disappointing first apartment

Playa de Muro is very nice and you can easily travel to Alcudia old town which is gorgeous and well worth the trip. We would definitely return to the area again but would not stay in this hotel

I went straight to reception who were not interested and told me we couldn't move because the hotel was at capacity. I asked again the next day and received the same bordering on rude response

The entertainment staff work really hard and are lovely and friendly however the restaurant and bar staff are almost as bad as the reception staff

There was no proper door to the bathroom, just a sliding door which l. eft a gap either side when closed so there wasn't 100% privacy

The Balinese beds were such a nice touch and included in our package too – perfect for relaxing by the pool. The food was brilliant with so much choice, and we never had any issues finding something to eat or drink

Outside pool and facilities are good but the evening bar and the restaurant are/were our stand out facilities. Staff, food and service were excellent. Pedro in charge of the restaurant was a star

Lovely holiday , hotel was spotless, rooms were large and well equipped and staff very helpful. We found the food at breakfast and lunch varied and fresh,we ate out most evenings out of choice

We stayed here for 10 nights all inclusive in a junior swim-up room and honestly loved every minute. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day and the whole hotel smelt amazing

We visited in April with friends, we had 3 swim up rooms. We had all inclusive, food was good, more or less same stuff every night but I didn't mind as it was nice and hot

very good at managing the staff as well as making every guest feeling special

During one of the shows, they dyed 1 swimming pool red and it stayed this way the whole week. Food was great, although very much the same most nights, but we couldn't fault it

The water fight with the pirates on a Sunday is also amazing, definitely a must for kids! The food is lovely, a million times better than other all inclusive hotels I have stayed at in the past, there really is something for eveyone

My 2 eldest children slept in the bedroom and myself, husband and baby daughter, slept in the main room on a sofa bed and a pull out bed

Firstly, the entertainment is the best I have ever seen, the entertainment is run by the ‘pirates’ every night who are clearly professional dancers and acrobatic performers, we were mesmerised by the performances

This has been the best holiday we have ever had! I am already looking at flights to come back next year - you honestly cannot fault the place for families

Apart from those very minor issues, this is a really nice family hotel

This review will focus mainly on the way the hotel helped us with a strong dairy allergy. Otherwise the hotel, the room, the facilities, the setting - all great, no complaints

We have just returned from a week here and will definitely be coming back, arslan and the rest of the staff at the hotel were amazing, we went all inclusive and found the food and drink on offer really good and great value for money, our favourite being the lunch time menu which was amazing

He worked through translation to agree some simple options that our son loved and each evening prepared them specially, and away from contamination - the buffet has an amazing selection of dairy-based deserts

It was a nice touch that the kitchen also found our son a DF ice lolly. This turned what could have been a week long anxiety into a relaxing holiday. Thank you to all of the team who helped here

The only slight negative was you are a little away from everywhere, that said you are short taxi rides away from some lovely places including Alcudia old town which was really beautiful

We stayed in room B5 with the pool view and I would definitely recommend paying a wee bit extra for the pool view, lovely setting at night and good to keep an eye on the kids when they rush off to the pool, The room was very modern,and the shower was fantastic,( need to upgrade my shower at home now as kids and wife keep saying how good it was ), we let the kids stay in the bed and we used the sofa...

Toilet roll and shower gels topped up if needed, hair dryer was fantastic and new, fridge and cutlery was all clean aswell if needed, Also a good group of maintenance if needed and all very friendly, The entertainment round the pool was good and never pushed you or annoyed you if you didn’t get involved, There was a dj on a couple days which was brilliant but there is also music playing every day so...

The hotel itself is divided into blocks overlooking either the pool or the gardens, very well maintained communal areas though there is limited space around the pool so bagging a sunlounger early is a must!

The best thing I noticed was every morning there was cleaners everywhere,the most I have seen on holidays , Pool area was swept,cleaned,tidied, Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels

Just back from a stay at aquasol apartments in Palmanova ,and i would definitely stay here again, On arrival we were met with Leona on reception and she was amazing, very friendly,very helpful and just adds a great relaxing start to your holiday

Also the tv was brilliant as had channels in English and had all the apps ( Netflix,prime ,Disney plus ) which we signed in to and kids loved it, I got to watch the football and tennis so was really good for adults too

Love the entertainment team who are super friendly and ones who love what they do. There are three pools to choose from which gives adults their time alone and children to have their fun in the pool

Beautiful accommodation and, of course, very friendly staff. The newly renovated rooms in the modern part of the hotel are really lovely. The only drawback is that not all rooms have a balcony

1 for mainly adults and what looked like brilliant children's pool area set on the other side of the hotel. Its all been very well thought out and considered for all types of ages and families

Beautiful hotel & grounds, great kids club, playground and kids pool. One thing in particular I appreciated was the shade over the kids areas. Dinner could do with a few labels showing which meat was used

However, when it comes to the entertainment program for both children and adults, the number of pools, the food, and the cleanliness, we give the hotel the highest rating

The sea is very close, with a shallow entrance that my child loved a lot. The whole hotel is quiet and relaxed, not noisy at all, which was exactly what we were looking for. Everything you need is within walking distance
