Hotels on first line in Tenerife

The location was perfect, it just a few minutes walk from bus garage and the sea. We had a sea view from our 6th floor balcony. All the staff I came in contact with were very friendly and helpful

The pool is really small and good to cool down in, not so much to swim in but the beach is just down the road

The room was clean and had a hot fast running shower. Pool area was clean and quiet with great views of Puerto De La Cruz. We did not eat there but did use the bar and had a delicous cocktail

There's laundry facilities downstairs also (5 euro a load) and the rooms are all catered for self catering with a hob and all!Staff are incredibly helpful and overall I would definitely recommend and stay here again

A wonderful find, really practical rooms and the value is wonderful. I got mine as part of a package deal where food wasn't included but you can eat here for a very reasonable price as a guest

I would certainly be happy to stay there again if I came to Puerto De La Cruz

The hotel is about 20 min walk from the bus station but is in the town centre next to main shopping area. We choose this hotel because it is 15-minute walk from cruise terminal

The pool on the roof did not work - this was very disappointing. For some reason, there is no toilet brush or hygienic shower in the toilet

Very clean, quiet, and cozy. Good breakfasts, excellent location in the city center. We'll stay here again next time :)

There is not enough parking nearby and it is difficult to drive up in a personal car. We did not use the hotel parking, because we read reviews that it is very narrow

Spacious and modern rooms, comfortable bed, great roof top pool bar and very good location. It's right off the main high street

Otherwise, taxis take a while to arrive (15 minutes in the off-season, what must it be like otherwise?). Everything else was perfect: - breakfast, parking, restaurant, bar, pool (magical)

Have just returned from a 5 night stay at this fabulous hotel,sorry we did book for longer!! The quality of the rooms, gardens,pool and of course not forgetting the impeccable staff,are unsurpassed

It was excellent and he continued to make them for me when asked. A welcome drink at check-in is a nice touch too. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to Puerto de la Cruz

The food offerings at breakfast are phenomenal,with everything you’d ever need for your morning repast. We sampled the snack menu ,and again excellent quality and price

The staff are a credit to the Hotel! There is some building noise nearby, I believe this ends in November but it didn’t bother me and I like to sleep as I sunbathe. Oh pool was nice to swim in too

I’ve already visited three times this year alone, which says it all about how welcoming and enjoyable it is. The pool bar is now under new management, and what a difference it’s made

Pools are beautiful clean staff amazing and so friendly everything we wanted and more it was an amazing holiday hotel views and bar and restaurant was great to so would highly recommend for anyone from single married friends children families it's amazing in everything already looking forward to going again next year

The studio is perfect for two people, very clean and with everything you need. The pool was great, and the lifeguard made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended. I would definitely come back.

Our stat lly at Ona Los Claveles was exceptional, great location and a beautiful apartment. We had a townhouse type property which faced on to the pool, couldn't have asked for more

Fab pool bar serving food and drinks during day with very friendly staff, good prices then evening bar and restaurant opens up. Entertainment in the evenings. Well positioned for night life but in a quiet area

From check-in to checkout the staff at reception were outstanding and very helpful. The staff at the pool bar (Stacey, Peter) were brilliant and couldn't make you more welcome

Very spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s been modernised. Washing machine in the apartment too which is very handy for a familly or a long stay.

The only minor letdown was the pools, which were unfortunately far too cold to comfortably swim in. It would be great if at least one pool were heated to a more comfortable temperature

A special mention must go to Patrick in Casas Ducales and Luis at the Beach Club, both were outstanding and made our stay feel extra special

Some of the plugs didn’t work, and a few modern updates would really help bring the rooms in line with the otherwise high standard of the hotel

Aside from that, the exceptional service and dining were real highlights and helped distinguish this hotel from many others

The rooms were clean and spacious but felt a little dated in places and could benefit from a refurb

We cannot express enough the absolute wonderful time we had. The hotel is more than we imagined and such a perfect location to shops, beach, restaurants We loved our stay and would come back again and again..

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were communicating our transfer between themselves. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every day. The location is great - close to the central part and the beach, but not noisy

We are very happy with our stay at the hotel. The hotel area was gorgeous - the pool, the palms, the building. We booked two rooms - superior double and studio

The studio was in a different building and it felt a bit separated from the main part. It had appliances and everything you might need, just missing oil and salt. The other room was looking at the pool and the ocean

The shower area around the pool looks old and dirty. The floors were not properly cleaned. We stayed with a crawling baby and we could see all the dirt that was left, was not too much, but wouldn’t hurt to mop

The hotel has a few buildings, so it doesn’t feel overcrowded even though it was fully booked. We are overall happy with our stay hence my 5 stars. However, I’d like to add some feedback on things that can be improved

Wouldn’t recommend going to the volcano with a baby, just because the road to the top is full with dangerous turns. Definitely would advise to take a sick pill as you are travelling zig-zag for an hour

Simple accommodation, simple breakfast. Slept amazingly well and the pool on the roof is exquisite

Ideal location for bus services. 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach. Bars and restaurants and supermarkets. Didn't have a problem sleeping. Lunch and dinner a little bit uninspiring. many thanks to Jennifer Tamara

The views of the mountains and ocean combined were superb, both from our room and the rooftop pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful, issues were sorted very quickly when they were made aware of them

Location was also good, 5 mins from the beach, 15 to Loro Parque and 10 to the town centre (all on foot). I had the all inclusive which had a good selection of drinks available

Great value for under 90 euros per day. Nice bathroom, balcony, bed and ok kitchen. Nice and helpful reception. Very close to the central bus station and Hiper Dino with fishmonger, butcher and cheese shop.

It's not really worth it, but it's a matter of taste! The staff was very friendly, from reception to the waiters and housekeeping. I should mention that this was our first visit to the island

Having booked before I read some of the reviews ( from 2017/2018) I was a bit concerned. However the more recent reviews seemed better so I was hopeful. My view was that the Hotel was great

For us, this was a positive aspect + pool bar atmosphere was very chill and the bar was surrounded by a nice garden + the bartender was always in a good mood and was carefully preparing the best sangria he could think of (self-mixed)

The mattresses in our room were bad; we requested a replacement and they were changed. If this happens to you, request it immediately. The facilities are those of a traditional hotel

Plenty of salad as its own course or to go with main course - always some sort of fish (normally white); a meat dish or two plus pasta and a sauce; various types of potato; big variety of puddings and fruit and cheese too if you have any room

Breakfast was quite good, but drinks weren't included at dinner (this wasn't specified in any of the instructions sent), and the food was very average

The restaurant is open for lunch but not dinner. Plenty of good places close by to eat. The hotel is next to the beach and the town has a good vibe

The room was a little disappointing for the money I paid. The sea view was only evident if you stood at the window to look out. Otherwise all you could see was the slightly shabby building to the side

Super Super hotel, amazing location, literally on the beach. Full buffet of everything from hot breakfast choices to everything else. Bed super comfy like sleeping in a cloud

Had a week in this unique hotel at the beginning of May this year. Room wasn’t huge but immaculate. We didn’t opt for a sea view but had a balcony onto the bustling square

This may not suit everyone but I enjoyed the buzz of the busy square during the day and in the evening. Windows blocked most of this noise when closed. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay

We only stayed for one night to catch an early morning flight and would have loved to stay longer to make use of the facilities more and explore a bit further

It is a very comfortable and very clean hotel, I really like the bed. it is so comfortable, that I just don't want to get out. There is a small roof terrace on top, where you can chill out, if you so wish

I stayed in this hotel five nights in June 2025. Clean, Professional, helpful, and friendly staff. Room was clean with good furniture. Daily room cleaning and makeup was done very well. The air conditioning was very good

Breakfast was good and with good price. Near shopping streets, tram station, taxi parking, and other attractions. The Wifi was sometimes weak, but mostly good. The sound insulation is not very good

Great location for beach bus station siam park. regularly cleaned great shower. Staff friendly & helpful. Sun from 10am till 6pm round pool. Tidy bar outside called Miami bar. Tidy supermarket also across road.

Yes there is some noise at night but this hotel is right between Adeje and Las Americas and if you're looking for ultra quiet this is not the place for you, but I think the hotel are trying to move away from large groups of younger people

Yes the transfer coach does drop off and pick up at the bus stop just round the corner but it's at most 3mins away with a small hill. Although if you have mobility issues, pulling your suitcase up maybe an issue

One of the positives of this hotel is that there’s never any issue finding sunbeds, which makes the pool area feel relaxed and stress-free

The pool area was quiet, and probably not suitable for small children and families as there is no inflatables and balls allowed but plenty of sun loungers, yes the times are 11-7, but to be fair the sun doesn't hit the pool area until about 11 anyway

The rooms are all in the process of being upgraded, there still isn't air con but we left the balcony door open and it was ok. The room was spotless, plenty of plug sockets, hairdryer was good

I would like to thank all the staff for their care when I stayed at this hotel when my husband was hospitalised in Santa Cruz from a cruise ship we had been on

It was a very worrying time to be by myself somewhere I didn’t know but the hotel was the perfect place for me to spend a week while my husband recovered

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the decor very good. The location was excellent overlooking the park. The area looked even better with the Christmas lights

We loved everything about the hotel apart from there not being a kettle and tea and coffee in our room

While it is on the beach with a pool, the hotel, itself, is not great. No extras like coffee, shampoo, hand lotion. And there is no AC so our 3rd floor room was very warm

It's comfortable, I managed to find a space easily despite deciding to go after lunch, and the pool is both clean and refreshing. The only thing I'd advise is that you need to be OK with high winds and sand

This is a surf spot, after all, and so comes with a lot of wind! The pool area shields you from most of it, but you'll still feel it and sand, as we all know, gets everywhere! I'd definitely return to this hotel!

The location is perfect too, right on the beach where you're immediately on the promenade leading you into El Médano town and it's abundance of little shops and cafés

Lots of surf shops in the area with both surf gear and surf clothing brands. I mosty spent my time exploring and sitting on the beach watching the surfers (so cool!), but I used the pool for a couple of hours as well

- The hotel has a nice pool with sun beds and umbrellas set around it, however these are pretty much reserved by towels/bags of certain hotel guests who lay their towels at breakfast and then disappear, not returning until mid afternoon after their windsurf/kite sessions

It is at the top of a very big hill, so without these facilities you do feel stranded and, if you included 'pool' and 'bar' in your holiday criteria you are going to be very disappointed

However, it is advertised on LoveHolidays as having an onsite bar, restaurant and pool. The pool closed 6 years ago, the restaurant and bar as at 20 February 2026 is closed

The natural wondrous pools of Garachico are farther down the hill, a short 5-10 minute drive away. Good hiking forests up the hill

Awesome view and very nice personal. The internet is unfortunately not necessarily made for working remotely. Also the Kitchen is not very well equipped if you plan to cook a lot

However the view is amazing, on one side you see the sea and on the other el teide, very beautiful!

Ok it's not a shiny new hotel but it is quiet and peaceful, has everything you need, an incredible view, and you won't find better hosts, truly good people who saved my life that night. Thank you Estrella del Norte!

The kitchen had everything we needed and Lidl is a 5 min walk up the hill. We did not use the pools as too cold and we had been warned by our trvel operator that they would no longer be heated in the winter

We mainly used the rooftop solarium to sunbathe when the weather allowed. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas but a strong unplesant smell from the drains. The bar by the rooftop pool was good and prices reasonable

Fab location, rooms and facilities very good. 2 pools, both really nice, roof terrace amazing when the sun was out. We did have a bit of rain, sangria helped on those days

Housekeeping did try to rectify it by putting 2 woollen blankets on top of the matress but it made very little difference and I have returned from my holiday more tired than when I went! The apartments are in a very residential area, there are lots of small family run restaurants in the streets around it, and a small amount of mainly outdoor bars

Our biggest issue was with disturbed nights sleep due to the mattress on our bed which was very hard/firm. After 2 nights of little sleep I asked reception if they could provide a mattress topper

The lady I spoke to was very rude, saying no one has complained before, and they don't have any. They clearly are aware of issues though as it is mentioned in other reviews

We did find certain guests annoying as they would play music on their phones without head phones. A notice by the pool asking guests NOT to do this would be very helpful, not everyone has the same taste in music

Location is right in the heart of Puerto De La Cruz. Shops, bars, restaurants and ATM’s on the doorstep. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had a budget single room which was a more spacious than I was expecting

My new favourite place to stay in Tenerife North. Everything was absolutely perfect. I was a bit dubious after reading reviews but can happily say I’m glad I ignored them

Bed very comfortable, good shower, microwave, kettle, tv, mini fridge and nice sized wardrobe with extra bedding if needed. The room and hotels were very clean

Lovely rooftop swimming pools and numerous chill areas and tables. Great breakfast and lots to choose from. I liked it that much I’ve extended my stay another few while I do some remote work

Excellent breakfast 'selfservice' under the new regulations an extremely helpful Cuban guy filled your choice of foods and drinks. There was a full availability of food from continental to full English

The first night we arrived very late due to flight issues and the receptionist was very kind and helpful - as was all the staff during all of our stay! All of our needs were met, the breakfast is vary and delicious, and the staff - even here - was wonderful

Clean property. Nice staff. I got in late and tired due to flight delays. Staff was very nice, gave me free room upgrade. Easy to get to by car, park in the underground garage at Plaza de España, 2-3 minute walk.

However, if there was no festival, I don't think it would be a problem. Also, when I arrived in the evening, the parking lot was already full, so I parked in a nearby parking lot for a fee

Parking lots cannot be reserved, so if you want to park, it's better to check in early. Considering the location and cleanliness, I was very grateful to be able to stay at such a reasonable price!

The hotel is close to many restaurants and close to the light rail line that goes to San Cristobal de La Laguna. I recommend this hotel and will stay there on my next visit to Tenerife

I arrived in Tenerife by ferry and walked to NH Tenerife. Check-in was efficient, the staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast at the hotel was very good with many options
