Hotels on first line in Tenerife

It was Christmas time, and although the hotel seemed to be full up, there was always space by the pool, the gym and at breakfast time. The hotel is close to the promenade and we enjoyed walking both directions

We came to Tenerife in 2019 and walked past this hotel and I really wanted to stay here. It's changed a bit since then and the bottom part has now been sold off and turned into a beach club

Even on check out he gave us the use of a room to shower in after a day at the beach before our night time flight. Marco deserves the recognition of management and the hotel group for being such a exceptional team member

The hotel that's now here is still lovely, the communal areas are beautiful and naturally cooled from the breezes that blow through. The rooms are starting to show their age, with a little bit of wear and tear

Our holiday exceeded all expectations. Dreams Jardín Tropical Resort and Spa is a beautiful hotel. The facilities were fantastic, we used the pool and gym daily, enjoyed the spa, and treated ourselves to a massage

Francis and Melina at the fitness suites made our trip even better with their care and brilliant, enjoyable classes—a real highlight! Our room was spacious with a great-sized balcony, perfect for our little one to crawl around safely

I'll start with the positives; the pool areas were nice, room massive and well cleaned daily. The staff are brilliant, really friendly, nothing too much trouble. They deserve plenty of kudos for their hard work

My comments below are for the management. Negatives; as other people have said, the common areas are poor. Carpets worn, gaffer tape and what can only be described as underlay in areas. Areas that are carpeted look dirty

The entertainment team were very engaging with guests but also knew when just wanted to sit and read your book. The evening entertainment that we went to was also to a very good standard and enjoyable

We had a couple of issues at check in with regard to rooms and the booking but all very quickly resolved. Our room was spacious and close to the lift which was great for my mum

We stayed on half board basis and every one of us enjoyed all our meals and found the food to be very good standard

Overall we had a great stay and will be returning again very soon

Great get away in a perfect location next to loro park at the north of the island. Easy check in and out with 24 hour reception. clean rooms big pool friendly staff and entertainment team

Just finished a 7 night stay at Alua Tenerife with my dad and can't fault anything. You read some of the other reviews and of course everything comes down to someone else's perception and experiences so here is ours

We were in room 1409, it was warm throughout the day and a good spot to sit on later in the afternoon when the pool area got a bit cooler, we still had sun until about 5ish

Again, with any buffet you will always get some items the same (breads, cheese, paella, pizza) but there was variety! Every night different pizza toppings, different paella flavour, different meats on the grill (I had chicken, beef, turkey, tuna, hake

Suggestion for the chefs, maybe slightly less garlic - but that's just personal preference, it didn't stop us eating !! Suggestion for the hotel - it would be good to have tea, coffee and juice available for dinner

Suggestion for the hotel - display the menu on arrival so people can see the variety of dishes available. We shared a twin room, it wasn't split when we arrived, by the next morning it was

People moaned it was cold but a microwave is on hand to warm it, if you wanted to. The fresh baguettes each meal were to die for. The snack bar at the main pool opened at 11 am and again had lots of choices

The little fairy cakes were delicious. The bar staff at the main pool were so friendly. I loved that night the sunbeds were stacked and locked up. So no need to get up at 4 am to reserve

Firstly don't read the reviews. Come here and have a fabulous holiday. Would I come here again/recommend this hotel. I really don't know what people expect. The hotel is lovely, staff friendly and welcoming

The room was cleaned daily, we didn't have a balcony but lovely views of the sea and not needed to improve the stay at the hotel. The food was of excellent quality, loads of choice

Not good for disabled people who can't walk far. As it is very hilly, but if you want a lovely, relaxing holiday. I would definitely come here again. A holiday is what you make of it

You could choose where you wanted to sit. I can't comment on the entertainment as we never went to see it. We stayed by the main bar for a quiet night. The hotel is in a lovely area

Top pool area isn't good and often busy - people do not want to walk to beach club area. I would recommend but probably not return personally as better Riu's

The staff are amazing from reception to the cleaners. Always happy and a joy to be around. The beach bar aloha should be renamed Anca’s. Without this wonderful host it wouldn’t be the same

The entertainment was great. Not many bars locally but Fanabe isn’t far to walk too. We would have preferred a pool view but none available at time of booking. Room well equipped and shower powerful

It’s worth all the steps up and down to the beach bar to make our holiday. If you want a relaxing and chilling stay this is the place. It’s an adult only hotel enjoy this fantastic hotel and staff

Lovely hotel in a quiet area of Adeje. A bit more upmarket than other areas. It was exceptionally clean and the grounds meticulously kept. The food was delicious if not on the cool side sometimes

If you want to go more lively place then a walk along the coast or a small taxi ride to adeje about 8 euro. There are a few bars close to the hotel and some restaurants just a short walk away

The staff are personable and interactive with guests in the most pleasant way. Namely Mirian who worked at the pool area. So cheerful and very attentive to guests, a joy to see in the area

The staff around the pool and bar truly made the stay unforgettable. Sara, Anthony, and Marcial were exceptionally attentive, polite, and respectful

Excellent check in, Susi was very efficient on the desk, rooms very nice, complex very nice & clean.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at Iberostar Antalya, and I have to give a special mention to Miriam and Daniela at the pool bar — they are simply amazing! 🌞🍹 From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with warm smiles and genuine kindness every single day

The best experience ever From check in to check out and everything in between - this place was amazing. The staff is incredible, and also the rooms, bars, swimming pools and other common areas.

The only difference between the up rooms and standard rooms are a coffee machine and a good sea view, that’s it

On both transfers our names were not on the list and the people running sierra y Gonzales are rude unhelpful and arrogant, a small bloke with an attitude and chip on his shoulder telling us your not on the list your not getting on the bus even though it’s half empty

It’s very chilled and relaxing up on the roof and you get the sun all day when it pops over the mountain. The room was ok if a little tired, for the premium price I would expect the rooms to be a little more upgraded

When we missed the bus back to Tfs because we wasn’t on the list the reception guy was as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike, didn’t want to know. Not the sort of problem solving I expect from this hotel

Unfortunately we had the world coughing champion next to us who liked to get up at 06. The hotel would not have any insulation when built so it would be nice to have soundproofing sorted out

The transfer service that the hotel uses now is awful. You used to get a taxi transfer which was perfect now it’s a shared minibus from a company called sierra y Gonzales and they are awful

The food is the best we've ever had at a hotel, a good selection of different meats, the lamb and roast beef is out of this world! Also the porridge & omelettes are a must! We will be back in a couple of years as we also love the Riu Palace in Maspalomas

If you are looking for a restful and peaceful holiday in a good location Riu Palace Adeje is an excellent choice. The buffet is probably the best hotel food we have experienced. Rooms, views, bars and staff outstanding

Our 5th time here and it doesn’t disappoint. The staff make you feel so welcome, the hotel is kept impeccably clean. Our room was very well located on the ground floor with beautiful views of the sunset

Had been concerned about buffet as don’t generally rate them but the food was excellent and they catered really well for the guests with 3. 5 hour span of time for breakfast and dinner

Room spacious and cleaning excellent. Lots of availability of seats around pool and a separate adult section. Very well situated between Costa Adeje and Caleta

Wifi useless kept cutting out Very noisy in the mornings with cleaners dragging trolley about. No shower cap or cotton buds.

I stayed in Royal Level. Staff was great. Food was excellent. Very nice pool. Close to beach walkway.

Royal level clients have upgraded drinks, extra dining options of decent restaurant quality and a reserved pool area with waiter service

Service inconsistent, drinks not always offered, pool service intermittent, this is what you pay extra for and it was lacking. Signs up saying no to reserving sun beds yet this happened and was not challenged

This is a great all inclusive hotel. If you can afford it, the royal level is well worth it for the upgrades it brings. The rooms were good and the food in all outlets was also good

It's close to the airport so you do get aircraft noise though it's not so much as to be grating. Entertainment was not bad with daily shows of varying quality, but it's not Vegas

The hotel has a good facility if you have a late flight where you can shower, etc. Breeze bar is a nice spot for lunch. All the staff I met were lovely and friendly

A shiny, clean hotel in the process of being refurbished ( rooms ), beautiful views ( pool side), large basic room, a small under desk fridge, no kettle in room ( however you can hire one from the front desk)

From poolside activities to evening shows, they kept everyone engaged and smiling. You can really tell they love what they do. They’re a huge credit to the hotel — thank you for making our trip so special!

The whole experience was an amazing time in tenerife. I really would recommend coming to this part of tenerife. Thank you, Bluesea resort Puerto de la cruz we will return to walk up El Teide

Great resort. Staff all great, very friendly, rooms clean and tidy. Plenty of space round the pools and loads of sunbeds. Adult only areas which are great for those without children. Would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are friendly & pleasant, rooms are clean the food is nice . Roof top terrace is unbelievable the views are incredible definitely staying here again. Loved e every minute of it.

Had a brilliant time at Paradise Park. The staff were helpful from check in, our room was spotless and cleaners were lovely

We were half board, which I have never done before (most I have done is B&B) but we could not fault the food - canteen buffet style but fresh omelettes at breakfast, and lots of gluten free options

Entertainment was great, always something for kids to do too (although I dint bring any) 3 pools to chose from, with a shuttle bus to town too at no cost. staff always interacting with patrons

We were also able to switch dinner for lunch when needed. The pool areas were good, the spa circuit was a nice bonus and the rooftop jacuzzi was a treat

Later, when I asked how to use the rooftop pool without a "upgrade" room, they told me it would cost €100?! I can understand a reasonable fee, but if it's a high price, then there's no point in emphasizing this activity

We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement

The rooftop pool, highlighted in the hotel booking, requires a paid "upgrade" room. When I inquired about the price, the staff told me it was expensive. When I asked how much, they repeated "expensive

Cleaning staff are in daily - a big thank you to Loci who looked after us in this respect. We were saying bed and breakfast and were delighted with the range and quality of the food served

Steven was helpful and friendly- lovely to chat to. If you are looking for a wee pamper I cannot recommend the spa enough. Simona and Lily were so friendly and kind to us

We are not regular spa bunnies so they were very helpful in taking us through the process. They took such good care of us- the massage was wonderful

My 2nd time staying in this hotel. Superior room with a view of the beach and full view of activities on the sea from one's balcony is well worth while

Also lunch would be better if you could grab hot food snack options from the pool bar rather than going for a sit down lunch everyday though just a personal preference. Sandwhiches/salads were available

Great Atmosphere in hotel all areas very clean staff are Fabulous all very friendly nothing is a problem. Several pool areas all kept Pristine plenty of sun loungers. Restaurants are all Fabulous plenty of choice

Evening entertainmnent mainly singers but of a good standard. Pools are plentiful and plenty of loungers available next to a pool spot which is great not having to rush down after breakfast

Option to go to tasting night highly recommend also Italian night with lovely singer Lovely seafront restaurant which was Fabulous at Lunch time with beautiful views

Always lots of beds for sunbathing available by the various pools. This all adds to a pleasant enjoyable holiday

The only thing that I will say is, we went at the start of December and the swimming pools were absolutely freezing, didn't stop us going in but took some time for our twin toddlers to give it a proper go 😅

Lovely water play area set away from the main pools as well where children can play and parents are able to watch them and chill on the sunbeds at the same time. Food was plenty and we had no complaints

To our surprise the brilliant reception staff took us to view a family suite and it was perfect, two bedroom with beds and cots and a living area with access directly to the pool and bar area

Lovely hotel don’t let the negative reviews put you off, location is prefect the staff are very welcoming the rooms are spotless what more do you require. The pool is also large and has plenty of sunbeds

Cleaners are there every morning to doing there thing so clean they do a great job well done to all them. Supermarket on the front stone throw away if you like us and want milk coffee and some goodies to chill with

I was afraid that the hotel had no good beach or sea view, but I was surprised that it has a great 45-degree view from the balcony to the best beach troya

Fantastic hotel - clean modern rooms, 2 main outdoor pools, plus a quieter 'infinity' pool, a wellness centre (including jacuzzi, steam room and sauna), gym and a large buffet style restaurant

The hotel is also ideally situated in Playa de las Americas, a stone's throw from the beach and within walking distance of Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos

Despite initial hiccups on our arrival (day of the strike) - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alexandre Troya. Friendly and helpful staff, remarkable facilities, lovely food and comfortable room

Every day there was a mini disco for the kids – such a great touch, even off-season. Parking was a bit tricky since the hotel doesn’t have private parking; street parking is very limited

The apartment is amazing! The viewing for the pool is fantastic together with a beautiful sunset everyday! I highly recommend the Hollywood Mirage to everyone!

Great service! We had a check-out time at 12, but we were allowed to stay in the hotel until the end of the day (our flight was around 7 PM), and we could even take a shower before heading to the airport

The evenings were without a doubt the highlight - full of dancing, laughter, & unforgettable moments, especially at the Pink Party! The effort, passion & professionalism from the entire animation team is exceptional

Breakfasts were quite generous. The apartment was fully equipped: kettle, kitchenware, hairdryer, pots, cutlery, even an iron! There was also a sponge and dish soap provided

I stayed in both the one bedroom apartment, which I really loved, and a studio apartment; both were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located near the top of a mountain

There were lots of places to relax at the hotel - the pool with plenty of sunbeds available, peaceful terrace, sofas inside, and a library room with massage chairs

Just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel. Room was clean, very quiet towel's changed daily service for all the staff was excellent

Had a problem with TUI app and the receptionist was very helpful so was the 2 TUI rep's saved the day 👍 Food was varied and plenty of choice service was excellent in the dining room also at night the bar service was very good

Location is tucked away from the main run of hotels. Quite adults only, 5 mins from beach. Amazing views of the north Side of the island, and cooler than the south

Lots of activities in the pool/around which plays super loud music. If you’re looking for a chill hotel this is not the one for you but would be great for families. Not enough sunbeds for amount of people staying there

We didn’t spend much time at the hotel during the day but pool is quite small and sunbeds fill up fast in busy periods like Easter

The kids enjoyed water carpet and pool inflatables but these are only on at the weekends although there are water slides for young children in the kids pool. There is choice but similar offerings each night

Currenty staying in the Sol Arona. Location is good with a 5 min walk to Los Christianos beach. The hotel has recently been renovated and rooms are lovely

Ideal location to walk around the back streets to the center town near the church. We enjoyed our stay here so much we have already booked the next holiday in the same hotel for June 2026

We ate once for breakfast €15 pp buffet which was very good value. Little tip behind pool toilets/showers little gate that leads onto beach is a must but you need your pass key to get back into hotel ,lovely beach

Accomidation is perfect place to stay with family. Apartment was cleaned everyday. It's has 2 pools for adult and kids. A gym, playground for the kids

Just got back from a long weekend trip. This hotel is great location for the beach and shop, bars. Staff helpful and would definitely return with family and friends.

Restaurant which offer all day food to mention shopping mall just across the street. Great place to enjoy your holiday

We loved our stay here, the most convenient location and the greatest facilities. The lunch at the pool bar was second to none.

Hotel facilities are ok, a small outdoor pool and another indoor pool plus gym and other facilities

Over the week we spent only 70 euros, every evening we took a bottle of wine and water. I highly recommend this hotel. If you want a high floor with a view, take a superior room

Booked a full board and food was up to expectations. However do note that drinks (alcohol, soft drinks and even water) are charged separately even under full board

The spa was perfect. I had a very nice experience with them and the staff were also very kind and professional. Definitely recommendable.

What I find it disappointing is that the hotel is quite poorly maintained, for example walls in the corridor are a bit damaged. The cleanliness of the hotel room is another red flag: the bathroom sink was not clean
