Chanalai Romantica Resort Phuket - Adult Only in Kata

The hotel is average, a bit old, and the furniture in the room looks worn out. The bed linen wasn't very clean. The pool chairs and sun loungers on the property were also tired and a bit dirty (with stains); it looks better in the photos than in reality.

The breakfast was average, with not a very wide selection. The staff was good. The location is decent.

Overall, it doesn't feel like it's worth the price.

Staff were amazing; very friendly, attentive and helpful and offering a very personalised and individual treatment. Very welcoming.
Location is very convenient near shops and food markets and just 5 minute walk to the beach.
Very clean and comfortable.
Rooms with pool access are great with nice bed.
Temperature of the pool was great.
Breakfast was very good with ample times.
The top area by the pool with Ball beds looks a bit forgotten, but this does not affect the overall experience as the pool area is very nice.

My wife and I had an incredible experience at Chanalai Romantica Hotel in Phuket. She joined their cooking class and prepared three superb dishes(Massaman Beef, Braised Pork Belly with Cashew Nut, and Fried Shrimp with Tamarind) guided step-by-step by two highly skilled chefs.

The hotel’s aesthetics and quality perfectly matched the online photos, and our room was exceptionally clean. All the staff were friendly, hospitable, and genuine, making us feel like royalty throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to learn authentic Thai cooking or enjoy a warm, memorable getaway.

If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful resort in the perfect location, then this is the place for you!! I cannot rate this resort highly enough.
We're in our late 50's and wanted a quiet and relaxed resort and this provided it in spades. The location is perfect with everything at your doorstep from a multitude of restaurants, markets, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. all within easy walking distance. Kata beach is literally only a stroll away too. We even managed to walk to Karon Beach too.
And whilst the main road was full of activity, as soon as you walk into the resort, you can't hear a thing!! We stayed in the pool access room and it was so comfortable, clean and the pool was always free to swim laps at any time without it being crowded. And there is no pool chair 'holding' here (thank goodness) and there were always pool chairs available at the pool bar at any time.
The breakfast had a vast range to choose from, and if it wasn't there, you only had to ask. The staff are absolutely amazing and can't do enough for you. I'd like to mention Eye, Orn and Numfon especially, for making us feel like family and 'at home'.
Out of all the resorts that I've had stayed at, this has hit the top of my list. I've been that spoilt staying here that I don't think I could not stay at any other but an 'adult's only' resort. If we were ever to go back to Phuket, I'd being coming back here in a heart beat.

Great resort, excellent facilities, wonderful staff, we did the cooking class and sous chef Got was excellent. The rooms are spacious. The ability to swin to the bar was excellent. We will be back for sure.

The Hotel service was fantastic. It was our wedding anniversary and they had decorated the room and provided a cake for our arrival. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and special.

Great hotel at a good location if you’re looking for a quiet place to stay. If you’re into parties or a more crowded area please stay at patong area. We enjoyed our stay here and staff was very friendly. Only thing that we didn’t like was the breakfast.

I absolutely loved this hotel for their hospitality, attentiveness and overall exceptional service. I told the manager about my bad experience with Sugar Marina POP and she made it up to me with VIP treatment. This hotel and staff are amazing, they truly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!
