Built in 2004 and renovated in 2019, it features 269 rooms across eight three-story buildings and six single-story villas. Rooms offer views of the bay and long sandy beaches, with types ranging from Deluxe Double rooms with sea view to three-bedroom pool villas. The resort has three outdoor pools, including one with a water slide, a spa center, fitness facilities, and two restaurants and bars. It is geared towards families as well, providing a kids' club, nanny services, and child-friendly dining options. The resort lies 22 km from Phuket International Airport and is located 180 meters from Kalim Beach, a public sandy beach on the second line from the shore. On The Beach at 176 meters, with Diamond Hut Seafood 265 meters away. The hotel is about 2 km from Bangla Road, reachable by shuttle or a longer walk. The view from my honeymoon suite was breathtaking! Other than the pleasant sound of the call to prayer from a nearby mosque (which is brief & only 5x a day so don’t worry,you’ll barely notice it), a very quiet stay! The only inconvenience was having to call for transport and then walking downhill from the reception to the unsheltered motorcycle lots every time I want to leave. Thereafter,coming back from a whole day’s activity, park and walk uphill to wait for the transport to the drop off point (continued with a short walk & 3 flights of stairs). Very inaccessible & I dare say impossible for the weak elderly and the disabled unless someone’s around to carry them. The room wasn’t immaculately cleaned upon check in & when house keeping was requested the 1 time of the 5 days I was there. The room wasn’t even swept. Only towels replaced,bed made and pillows rearranged. Nothing else. There are charges for late check out but may only be requested on the day of. The staffs I came across were very helpful and hospitable though. The breakfast spread is good too! Very much worth taking breakfast (with amazing views) if you’re gonna wake up for it (0630-1030h).

The room is nice and comfortable, but the distance between the room and the lobby is very far. We had to call for transport many times just to go back and forth, and sometimes it took around 20–25 minutes to arrive. There are also many stairs, which makes it difficult for people with mobility issues. To reach the restaurant at Level 3, we had to use stairs, and our honeymoon suite was at Block 9 Level 3 — we had to go down an escalator and then climb stairs again. Overall, not very convenient even though the room itself was lovely.

Excellent place and great location. Excellent service and friendly staffs. Very helpful staff. Great foods and delicious meals.
I used to came here to this hotel in 17th years ago. Even if now there change the owner but here they are still look after us a very well done even if some building are they renovating at a moment but they are still giving and looking after us in a very good quality. We are very appreciated it. Here is the hotel resort, all the building will be the step by step up to the mountain and here will have the car will pick up u going up and down, just contact to the reception and if u u have plans for to going to somewhere then can you please contact them for to pick you up before hand for a couple 10 minutes or something. Here you will be safety and quiet place for to stay and having a holidays and relaxing time. Here has three swimming pools and three restaurants for to satisfy and services you at the hotel resort. Having the dreakfast and watching to the ocean views, Amazing views and All the meals are very delicious. All the managers and staff are very friendly and helpful with welcoming people. Not far away from Patong walking street and Central shopping centre. For me I do love to come over for to having a lovely holidays. And next time if we are coming back here then we will coming back here in every time we are coming to the Phuket. All are perfect and Excellent

We stayed at Andamantra Resort in Phuket during our Thailand trip in 2023. The view from our ocean-facing room was absolutely stunning — waking up to the sight of the sea was the highlight of our stay.

We had booked through Agoda, but on arrival, the reception initially offered us a room at the back on top of the hill. After we mentioned it wasn’t what we booked, they moved us to the correct ocean view room, which we appreciated — though we wish it had been handled smoothly from the start.

The amenities were available but felt a bit basic and shared, with refillable items that weren’t always top quality. The breakfast buffet was good, with a nice variety of options. However, the uphill walk around the resort or waiting for the buggy pickup/drop-off was somewhat inconvenient, especially with a child.

Overall, a beautiful resort with amazing views, but service consistency and convenience could be improved.

We had a wonderful stay at Andamantra Resort and Villa Phuket. The ocean view from our room was amazing, and the bathtub in our booking made our stay extra relaxing. The location is perfect—close to beaches, the city, malls, and local markets.

The staff made our experience even better. From the front office to the bell boys and the restaurant team, everyone was friendly and professional. A special mention to Rushi, who I think told us he is still a trainee, but he was very respectful, accommodating, and really good at his job. He made us feel truly welcome, and his service stood out throughout our stay.

One small point for improvement: the room could have been cleaned a little better, as it was a bit dusty.

Overall, we still had a great stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket! 🌊✨

An incredible stay at this hotel! Everything came together: a magnificent setting, a relaxed yet lively atmosphere, and, above all, a top-notch team. Special mention to DJ, a truly exceptional employee: always in a good mood, ultra-professional, super attentive, and with incredible energy. He knows how to put guests at ease and create a friendly atmosphere from morning to night.

It's rare to meet someone so dedicated and warm—DJ clearly left his mark on our stay. Thanks to him, we felt welcomed like royalty.

A big thank you to the entire team, but especially to DJ for his kindness and professionalism. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Andamantra Resort Phuket! The location is beautiful with stunning views and easy access to the beach. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable.
A special mention to Kang from the staff—his service was truly outstanding. Always helpful, polite, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Thank you for making our trip even more memorable!
Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing vacation in Phuket.

I stayed at this hotel expecting a comfortable 4-star experience, but it turned out to be extremely disappointing.

The room hygiene was unacceptable — windows and mirror were dirty, the most cabin was broken, and several parts of the room were visibly damaged. It felt like no one had properly cleaned or maintained the room in a long time.

What shocked me the most was that this hotel doesn’t even provide basic amenities like toothbrushes and slippers — not unless you pay 25 baht per item. For a hotel that claims to be 4-star, this is simply unacceptable.

Overall, poor hygiene, bad service attitude, and surprise charges made this one of the worst 4 star hotel experiences I've had. Definitely not worth the rating.

Worst Hotel Experience I've Ever Had – Truly Disappointing Stay in Andamantra

I have stayed in many hotels around the world, including in Phuket, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.

The check-in process was a complete mess. I arrived two hours before the official check-in time and had already completed the registration. However, when the official check-in time came, I was still forced to queue in the lobby for 20 minutes. After finally reaching the counter, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes due to some internal system issue. It was extremely disorganized and frustrating — a chaotic start that set the tone for the rest of the stay.

The problems didn’t stop there. The hotel restaurant served pizza made with frozen pizza bases — definitely not what I expected from a hotel that claims to offer quality dining. It was bland, rubbery, and tasted like something out of a supermarket freezer.

As for the room itself, it was in shockingly poor condition. Multiple fixtures were broken, the bathroom door didn’t close properly, and the windows were covered with noticeable grime. It felt neglected and poorly maintained, far below even basic standards.

The worst part was the service. Due to a staff error, we were given a key card to the wrong room. When we called to ask for a replacement card to be delivered, we waited 30 minutes with no response. Only after calling again did we learn that the staff member had decided not to bring the new card because they weren’t "allowed" to issue us another one unless we came down to collect it ourselves. This was entirely due to their mistake, yet there was zero accountability, no apology, and a rude attitude on top of it all.

Overall, this stay completely changed my impression of hospitality in Andamantra — and not in a good way. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing or respectful stay.

One of the best hotel's i have stayed in, Its very cozy and comfy, the breakfast was good, the ambience and services all were very nice. The staff was very approaching and sweet, the views from the room were just amazing and calm.. We loved our stay, only issue was with the air conditioner, as it wasn't cooling well, may be because our room was direct sea facing or maybe the Air Conditioner had a fault.. The staff and the team did come as soon as we called and tried to get the things fixed, but then again the cooling was taking time.. we did love our stay.. bit far from the beach though, but the coast is very close to the road.. Overall satisfied with the stay.. Thank you😊
