For a budget friendly hotel, this is a great choice. The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite the Italian Consulate and very close to the harbor and Istiklal Avenue, all within walking distance. However, being within consulate grounds, vehicles cannot drive directly to the hotel entrance without prior permission, which is a drawback if you have large luggage and need to push it up a sleep slope.

I stayed for 2 days on a business trip. There was hair on the bathroom floor. Despite it being clearly unclean, the person who directed us to the room tried to defend themselves instead of admitting it. They only tried to clean it by running water over it. I deducted points for cleanliness. If you don't expect professional hotel service, it's a viable option in terms of price, performance, and location
