Hotels All-inclusive in Crete

I came here few times before and this time round when the restaurant got busy the staff got unwelcoming and a bit rude, and rushed me and my mum when we sat at 4 people table after telling staff that the rest of family and friends is just walking down to the restaurant from the room

At the end of August, my wife and I organized a wedding in Crete. We accommodated all our guests in the Horizon hotel, which was a hit. The reception staff were very helpful, the cleaning team was thorough

The hotel is good, the managers are fantastic with great attitude. There was a very lovely young girl at the entrance of the restaurant during breakfast - she was so lovely and welcoming

The food optios are great and the food is always fresh, the chef is there to assist with allergies or food intolarences. Upon request early breakfast and lunch basket is available

If we ate outside the hotel, The gentleman who worked at the entrance by the gate gave us some good options to choose from. I would def stay again and do recommend it

My daughter and I had such a good experience with this hotel. The staff was spot on and the food was wonderful. The view from my balcony was gorgeous

We stayed for one week and we felt very good! All the staff was very polite and always smiling and ready to help. The rooms are very clean, the pool was nice even in october and the food was delicious and diverse.

Only a small amount of rooms so always space by the bar and pool. No sunbed races in the morning! Foods of a good variance in the restaurant each night with your stable chips option if nothing takes your fancy

The ruby royal area gets sun later in the day so if thats what you are after, get one of those rooms. All staff very welcoming and pleasant

The Cretan old town is only a 10 minute walk south, and the beach a 10 minute walk north

Crispy around the edges then placed on a hot plate. Similar with varying foods every time. This station should be cooking as requested. It takes 2 minutes to cook an egg. I'd much prefer to have it cooked for me

I've been all over the world,so different cuisines aren't an issue. But the standard of food is very poor. The cooking station was manned by a really nice guy. But cooking 20 fried eggs over done

The reception is very good informed about the sight seeings and more activities. Actually the tips they proposed were priceless. to many unknown beautiful places in close distance that we will return to visit

We stumbled across this amazing place sort of by accident, having pre-booked other accommodation in the area but didn’t like it when we got there. So we had to find a suitable alternative very quickly

Also the hotel location and it’s restaurant right away to the beach, with it’s support at the beach with various snacks and beverages

I ‘ve stayedin Faedra Beach hotel this year in august. I liked the hotel staff, always helpful, friendly and welcome. I felt I was the local amongs them. The room was clean, and being cleaned every morning

The rooms are clean, beach over the road, the restaurant is located on the beach. Rich breakfast mainly with local products (cheese, olives, vegetables, fruits, etc)

This place is magical! It’s in such a special place and has an wonderful energy. Early November is a beautiful time to go - very peaceful beach, exquisite clear water, calm, and such a warm welcome

Your hotel is a great place for vacation. The service is excellent. The beach is clean and well-maintained. Drinks are prepared quickly and deliciously.

We had a great experience: the hotel is very well located in front of the beach, facilities are great, the staff is extremely helpful and the food was very good. Highly recommend.

Nice five star hotel with direct beach access. The beach is sandy (in some places a small pebbly strip when entering the water). The wifi in the hotel works fine

Our room was spacious, clean and the "don't disturb button" (instead of a sign to put on the door) was comfortable

The food, greek and international, was great at all occasions (don't miss out the traditional greek dinner you can have at the beach bar). Only, during dinner the restaurant could be a bit crowded, loud

Certainly not a 5* hotel, the bar at the hotel was round the pool, so sat on plastic chairs at night, staff working there not very friendly, the beach bar was fabulous and Mike is a lovely chap who certainly knows how to run a bar and make good drinks

Friendly staff, rooms very were clean, service very good. On departure day they allowed us to keep the room with no extra charge. They have bar at the beach which you can use in your inclusive, welcoming

It was very quiet when we went, so no waiting for food/ drinks at any point. Know Bar by the beach was great. Location is good; short drive from airport - 25 mins, just a one minute walk down to the beach

Beach was good - a short sand bit, but then it was like a huge stone slab - great for snorkelling. Plenty of shops/ restaurants within a short walk

The drinks were good, with a wide range of cocktails as well as the usual drinks. Food was good - not a wide range, but tasty

A calm, relaxed autumn holiday without the fuss. I recommend it as a relaxation for exhausted "running somewhere" people

Beautiful sea views and sunrise Wonderful room with perfect sea views and spectacular sunrise. 25 minute walk into the main town (Agios Nikolaos) and lovely taverna close to the hotel and on the beach

Would def recommend for couples and families. The resort is in a steep incline so less suitable for people w mobility difficulties. Ag Nik is a surprisingly lovely town w great restaurants and shops near the lake

The point that we didn’t like that much was the bathroom in our room, a little bit small with a small cabin shower, no individual hygiene products such as shampoo or bathing gel and there was no much attention to the fact of refilling the products available

Facilities: A bit dated Cleanliness: Okay Environment: Beautiful with blue skies and white clouds Service: A bit slow, but generally friendly. Mostly white people, no discrimination against those with yellow skin.

We were delighted w our room w its own private pool. Buffet food was super and easy to change for lunch instead of dinner. Staff were very polite and helpful. Facilities were clean and well maintained

Massive shout out out to Rheya who worked on the bar. She had our drinks pored whilst pouring others! Did eat out a couple of times just for a change

I had a shoulder impingement and I am now able to move my shoulder and arm so much better! My daughter had a relaxing massage by Ifigeneia and she found it amazing and extremely relaxing. We would highly recommend both!!

Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Entertainment was good, if you go to hotels and like to be Entertained. They spoke French, English and German the entertainers. Kids Entertainment and kids club

We stayed at this hotel for a week and we really enjoyed it despite a few issues. The room was not best part of the stay as it had many issues. We stayed in a swim up room in the new building and the room was very modern

Great hotel! The view is absolutely breathtaking, the personnel is very kind from the receptionist to the cleaning staff, bartenders everybody! I see a lot of complaints that is on a hill, well yes but the view is absolutely amazing and the walk to the beach is short and not so challenging

Our stay at Hersonissos Village & Bungalow was truly wonderful. The food was excellent and plentiful – from a rich breakfast to delicious lunch and dinner

The all-inclusive package is fantastic, as you can enjoy food and drinks from morning until late at night without any worries

Also Dimitri at the bar was great fun and the man in charge of the restaurant with the tie and glasses was very nice and helpful

The rooms could benefit from a few small updates, such as replacing the older flooring and refreshing the bottom of the pool where the paint has faded, but this didn’t affect our stay Overall, everything was perfect, and we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Crete

The locations is close to everything the only issue is the walk to and from town as there’s very little path and it’s quite a busy road, the hill is also quite steep to walk up but you wouldn’t get the beautiful views from the hotel if it wasn’t

Beds are comfortable, though slightly firm (typical for Europe). The shower is excellent, though it can soak the bath mat a bit. The hairdryer—fixed in the drawer—is actually quite decent for a hotel

A wonderful hotel! It’s very stylish & the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We also had a very relaxing massage with Antonis. We really enjoyed everything.

Despite losing a couple of days to very poor weather, we had a wonderful stay. This is a small resort—just two restaurants and two bars—which initially made us a little unsure, as it’s the smallest we’ve ever stayed in

When the weather kept everyone indoors, the hotel handled it brilliantly. The lobby comfortably accommodated guests, and the staff were fantastic—constantly bringing drinks and clearing tables efficiently

We enjoyed themed nights including Greek, Italian, and Asian cuisine, all fresh and beautifully prepared—easily the best food we’ve experienced at an all-inclusive

However, this actually turned out to be one of its biggest strengths. The atmosphere is relaxed yet intimate, and every member of staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was a real highlight

Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Excellent facilities with a swimming pool front and at the back of the main building. Great food and drinks.

However, the quality of the drinks served in cheap, old and way overused plastic cups were just below any criticism, it wasn't drinkable besides very low variety of drinks, some of them like mohito are for a fee

Nice hotel but the food is just ok. After 5 days everything repeats and gets boring. Nice pool area and bars. Low budget drinks are ….. ok. Small cups for LQ cocktails

If anyone is actually reading this review, I would propose to place a sign that sunbeds can't be reserved. Not everyone is there at the same time. Another splution could be baskets for towels and personal belongings

The pools were renovated and look amazing!! There aren't enough sunbeds for everyone and many guests seem to "reserve" sunbeds by simply placing their towels on top for the whole day

Put up a sign explaining the purpose of the baskets and that sunbeds cannot be reserved. The staff in the whole hotel was extremely friendly, understanding and competent

I was there from 10 to 15 of oct 2016 . Beautiful place, friendly staff and of course food is good. Rooms are very clean. Just go head and enjoy your vacation. Love from Canada ?

Breathe taking view in this out of the way resort. The rooms are very nice, we had a sea view making it spectacular. There is a main pool or a quiet section on the cliff side

The buffet for breakfast and or dinner was delicious. It is semi remote so a car rental or taxi service is needed

Hotel could be better Lovely room and balcony. This hotel could be fantastic. There weren’t enough sun beds. They said there was beach bar and food. carte restaurant was closed when we arrived the buffet was £35 a head

We as a couple went out of season, we expected bad weather but the hotel seems to avoid most rain coming in off the coast, however the wind chilled the pool area lot as it's quite exposed

Had a good stay here but it could have been better. The area itself is quite secluded however they compensate by running shuttle buses into Chania x2 a day

The food was a very high quality and the cakes etc beautifully presented. The staff in the restaurant were very pleasant. There was a Dr there 6 days a week. We were less impressed with the Spa

There was a lovely water channel outside our room and a water station nearby which was useful. The toiletries were very nice and we also had a free mini bar. The hotel is very clean and the grounds well maintained

The indoor pool was very cold and you had to wear shoes and dry yourself between being in the pool and going to the steam room etc. as well as having a shower in between also. It was very strict and not relaxed

We went with TUI and there was no welcome meeting. We spoke to some German representatives who were not that helpful or pleasant

The times for our reps visits were wrong and when we did meet her she could not answer any of our questions

Had a wonderful stay here with friends in September. Weather was fantastic, staff helpful & friendly

We had the all inclusive, don't know if there was any other option at this hotel. There were plenty of food options to use from, salads, starters, main course and desserts. Service was good and friendly

Overall atmosphere in the restaurant was good, didn't like the cats that sometimes came in when customers let them in. And then some also feed them even if this was forbidden by the hotel

Luka and Julia made our trip the best trip ever! They are the best animation team I ever meet! They made our week❤️ They make the experience so much better.

But it was easy taking the local bus to Chania, Agia Marina or Platanias to visit tourist stores and places. The local bus whent every 20 minutes. The resort was nice and it had much of what you could ask for

A bigger flat with a loft and a smaller room. Cleaning of the rooms was good. The hotel had a restaurant where there was three settings everyday

Sunrise Village is situated in a quiet area of Platanias but is only a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and just a few minutes more to the beach. The Hotel is a 3 star hotel so do not expect anything more

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful area! We arrived late night and were greeted by a bottle of water & plate of food in our room which we were incredibly greatful for! The room a support studio was perfect for the 2 of us with everything we needed

A truly wonderful and first-class hotel in a great location. We stayed again for a week in the middle of summer and enjoyed every moment. The staff is very friendly and helpful and caring

Only a short walk in to platanias and the beach and easy to get a bus in to chania. The staff were all lovely , friendly and helpful and we were able to get a late check out

There are different tastes for every day and, best of all, wonderful local food. The rooms are bright and very clean. We warmly recommend this wonderful place to stay

What a wonderful hotel! We had a lovely welcome from the reception desk, Konstantina was there to answer any of our questions and she was most helpful and friendly

She would meet me every meal and take my personal order to be made fresh for me in the kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble and she even made sure there were some lovely puddings I could have

My review is based on what we paid for a family of 4, all inclusive, it was definitely worth the special offer price, however it is not a 4* hotel (though we didn’t pay 4* prices)

We had two balconies but only set of furniture 🤷🏻‍♀️ Food: This was very mixed; breakfast was great, lunch in the snack bar was great but the restaurant wasn’t, the evening meals in the restaurant were generally ok and the two al la carte were really good

We went at the start of the season and it was peaceful, the entertainment was outstanding for the kids and our little one loved it. The food was great, the drinks and staff were wonderful

I have allergies and am always nervous trusting others to cater for me particularly with cross contamination. I was very worried about having a buffet style restaurant

The main restaurant has canteen feel, nothing special at all. Though the staff work tirelessly to keep it well stock and clean. Entertainment: Evenings were very lacking for older kids/adults

Beautiful hotel and surroundings, the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, the food was superb and freshly made and refreshed in a timely manner, our entire family were extremely happy with the food choices each day and the all inclusive aspect meant we never missed out on any snacks or ice creams around the pools

Was bought as present for our honeymoon and the room wasn’t the best so I emailed them explaining and next day we got the best upgrade with private pool only thing I’d say is the pool was ice cold, but free robes slippers a bath with an amazing view the food was lovely the staff was amazing the shows were good the bar staff was so lovely and chatty! I’d 100% recommend sad to leave but had the best...

The hotel is close to the little beach at the bottom of the hill and this is well worth a visit and we often enjoyed a few hours down there soaking up the sun or getting a different view over sunset

We had an amazing holiday in September at this hotel and would highly recommend it for families looking to relax and create unforgettable memories. The hotel itself is lovely and very clean

The food and drinks were varied and catered to all tastes, so there was always something enjoyable for everyone

A huge thank you to the entire team! We’d especially like to mention the amazing bar staff, Gorge and George, and their manager. They were absolutely brilliant and brought so much fun and positive energy to our holiday

There was a queue for checkin so the receptionist / porter told us to use the restaurant and come back when we had eaten, which was good, tea/coffee machines were working as well as wine/beer and soft drinks, limited food available, rolls, salad, ham and cheese

2 nights there was evening entertainment but this happened at the pool bar (next to childrens pool) but the bar was closed! Only one bar open in the evening and one person serving the queue sometimes was quite long, had to wait a while the selection of drinks was poor, 4 cocktails, didn't have a drink I liked

No water given there is a fridge in the rooms, all inclusive water should be available. The reception team did give me a kettle and later cups to be able to have a cup of tea either in the morning or before bed

Cleaner did an excellent job, bedding and towels changed daily and we loved her artistry with the towels. Only complaint is that this is the first ai that I have stayed in that charges for the safe

Second problem the room the family 2 girls and a boy (family 2 of them were adults) was allocated was a double bed and a bed settee we had asked for a family double room, 1am in the morning we told them to use the room and was assured the room would be changed in the morning - to give credit to the reception staff in the morning the room was changed, the night porter had said they family would be moved...

It was an amazing stay! 3 days of relaxation in a small quite hotel! The daily buffet was really tasty but the highlight of this hotel is the nice behaviour of the staff!

The restaurant had to be rebuilt and made a serving table and service, like in a cafe, instead of a buffet, which significantly increased the workload of the staff and the waiting time

Amazing hotel! At first I was a bit worried about the bad weather but everything changed by my arrival! One of the most cleaned hotel with staff like family

A good selection of drinks included in the all inclusive and a very friendly bar staff. Particularly Aggelos who was very friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations regarding day trips and night life

One special mention for the tasty food and the kindness of the bar staff! Felt like home

We looked at one of the rooms with a swim up pool and these were out of this world and definitely what we will book on our return visit

The hotel has really surprised us with its extremely warm hospitality and high level of the standards. The territory, rooms and the beach are clean and wery well maintained. The staff is absolutely friendly and useful

The High Beach Resort is a very well-maintained and visually appealing hotel complex. We arrived on April 2nd, 2026, the official start of the season

According to locals, the day before the hotel opened, Crete experienced an unprecedented weather phenomenon – a Saharan sandstorm that left unmistakable traces and completely undid the extensive cleaning work carried out beforehand at the hotel complex

Me and my family bought an All inclusive package and booked a triple room

The hotel itself is clean and tidy, but the food variety is poor. There’s very little fruit available, and there are no snacks or fruit offered between 2 pm and 7 pm, even though we had an all-inclusive package

I don't like to write too much, I'll just say this: I give the highest praise to the entire hotel staff!! With a plus for Gina and Luminita!! I know, I'm subjective, but we can't escape certain affinities!!

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. They pay great attention to cleanliness, and the food is typically touristy but good. And then, something very important to me, the staff is really kind

The hotel is a perfect combination of a 1-2 minute walking distance from everywhere (beach, night clubs, shops) while itself being on a quiet street so there's no noise in the night

We stayed here for one week with my bestie. Good place. Not far from sea. Swimming pool available. Cozy place.
