Great location strip a 10 min walk and beach 15 mins from hotel. No fighting wars for a sunbed which was a massive bonus as this is always an issue when abroad. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning

Our last day here tomorrow, booked last minute via Jet2 for the May school holidays. The hotel is in a great location short walk to many bars and resturants, 3 pools with plenty of sun beds

We ate at the pool bar most days all very nice. All in all great value for money, first time in Greece and will definitely look to come back again

Food was average nothing special, Breakfast was good, dinner was quite repetitive could be more choice of deserts You have to pay if you want coffee or tea after dinner, even had to pay for a drink of water, I think that's very mean This hotel is suitable for the older person, as a lot of guests were50+ The pool area needed a good brush and mopping fag butt's everywhere

We booked half board as it was only 100 extra so just covering breakfast was my expectation however we have stayed a couple of evenings for the buffet dinner and it's been fine, with so many very reasonably priced resturants near by though we went out most days/nights

Great holiday,the reception staff were very friendly and happy to answer and rectify any issues especially Ahmed who went way and above expectations 😀 The rooms were slightly dated but large and cleaned daily which you can't fault

I find it hard to rate this hotel, because it is a bit of a mixed bag. The location is PERFECT, 50 m from the beach. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are outdated, but mostly clean

The hotel staff is nice, the food is delicious, the pool is a bit shallow but suitable for swimming, the hotel's location is excellent, there are many places around the hotel where we can eat various delicious meals, there's also a supermarket nearby, and the beach is practically right under the hotel

They say this hotel is only 3 stars. Staff was super nice and friendly, food was great, reallyclose to the beach and many interesting places to visit by foot. I wish i could live there, can't wait to visit again

Good place, the sea is near, tasty food, enough clean

And the food is where this hotel is really lacking. Over cooked, and if you have food allergies, it's a no-no

The hotel is in a good location, just a few meters from the beach. The hotel is a bit older, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and ready to help.

We adored this family-run property. Our room was very, very spacious. The property has beautiful gardens. The beach is just across the street whichbisbso convenient. We would definitely stay here again

The hotel is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. The beds are truly comfortable, and the air conditioning cools the room perfectly. The kitchen is functional and has everything you need

The people who run the hotel are absolutely wonderful very attentive And willing to help with just about anything, but you will need a vehicle if you’re planning to eat or prepare food in your kitchen because the hotel has very limited offerings outside of breakfast

we stayed for a week and had a really great time but I wish the room had proper beds for four people two parents and two children and that air conditioning was available in both rooms

The hotel is very well located, with a magnificent view of the sea and the town of Sitia. There's a rooftop pool, a friendly welcome, and private parking 300m away

Alternatively, you can enjoy the view of the harbor and the town from the rooftop pool, which is also a bit dated but very pleasant. There's also a nice rooftop bar where you can enjoy a drink while admiring the view

From the terrace, you can admire the main street overlooking the sea, the palm trees, and the sunrise, with the sun rising over the mountain on the right side of the gulf

It's a simple, slightly dated three-star hotel. However, the price-quality ratio is very good. Since the panoramic view is the highlight, we recommend booking a front-facing room overlooking the harbor

The rooms are simple, with a refrigerator and safe. The bathroom is in keeping with the hotel's construction date. The breakfast buffet is basic, but adequate

The lady at reception isn't particularly good at interacting with the public. Overall, a slightly dated hotel with a spectacular location and a good price

People are usually staying near pool, so almost all sunbeds are taken (and yes, some guests are still having the habit of leaving a towel on a sunbed but showing up 3 hours later)

On the bright sight, there is plenty of room on the beach and the view is 10 times better. The sea entry is rocky, so it’s better to have swimming shoes with you

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

We also went to Rethymno for a day, which is 10 mins drive. The receptionist called us a taxi which cost us 10 euro

You’ll be able to find anything you want no matter whether you are vegetarian, pescatarian, carnivore etc

Free loungers and umbrellas for hotel guests and you could order drinks to your sunbed. Never busy when we were there. Nice sandy beach and shallow waters

Everything is modern in the room. Breakfast is good, but could be crowded and at these moments serving dishes are empty. Not enough staff to serve, clean, and prepare tables. We were there at the end of the season

Cannot imagine how they are operating in the season. Beach is nice but the water is shallow and you need to walk for a good 5 min to be able to go deep in the water. Beach chairs are very low and not really comfortable

Food in the restaurant is not something to write home about, but if you are on the beach, lazy to dress and go literally 2 small blocks to the main street, this restaurant is very helpful

The restaurants near the hotel had a huge variety of different foods & they were all great. However, none of that would stop me coming back to this little gem of a hotel, situated right on the beach in Agia Marina

Nice comfortable chairs are around the pool, but only 4 of them, and you cannot move them even a little bit to get a shade. They do not open any umbrellas on the deck with the statement that it is a wind

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with a great view of the sea from the balcony

Also the outdoor pools were really cold its nice that there is an heated pool indor but would have been nice if the outside one was heated

Also thanks to the staff as asked to organise some flowers etc for my wife for our anniversary and really lovely present for a reasonable price on very short notice as well

The staff made sure everything was perfect, from the friendly check-in to helpful local recommendations. The buffet had a great variety of tasteful choices

Probably the food was the weak point it wasn't bad or anything but quite limited in choices and most meat like pork and chicken quite dry

It’s clear that the management really cares about guests’ comfort and experience. I would absolutely recommend it

You can walk down to the beach from the hotel and the minute you walk into the room the sliders show you your own pool shared by the sweet next door and underneath that the main Infinity pool and lounges if you so choose to go down there

The pools are not heated very much because it is hot outside. This was September and we had the perfect weather!The restaurant is right next to the pool. You can eat indoors or outdoors

This was an amazing experience! Our wedding party mostly stayed in Chania, but we really wanted a pool so we rented a car and stayed here

It is very neatly located at a hill very close to restaurants and bars. The sea and the beach are literally just a stone throw away. The food in the hotel restaurant is great

If you want a specialty drink they have them for a small extra charge just like Starbucks. The service is amazing from the cleaning crew to my barista

Although we were not guests of the hotel, Panos welcomed us with such kindness and hospitality. By ordering drinks, we were allowed to use the wonderful sunbeds on the beach

The rooms were always clean and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay

I called the hotel, and they immediately found it and arranged a taxi delivery to the airport — truly excellent service. I’m very grateful and would definitely recommend this hotel to others

A very cozy and pleasant hotel. It’s located about a 20-minute walk from the Old Town, which makes it easy to explore the city on foot

With easy access to the sea via a few steps (or a jump off the rocks if you’re brave enough) the crystal-clear water awaits should you wish to cool off; great for snorkeling too! The breakfast buffet is delicious and varied daily, the snacks are superb and the cocktails five-star! What truly makes this place is the team

Wonderful new hotel, great location on the seafront.. Wonderful rooftop pool.. Wonderful staff, homely attitude, good and plentiful breakfast.. Very nice rooms. Special architectural design.

We stayed for 3 wonderful nights, it was a pleasure. Amazing views, great breakfast, rooms are big and well decorated. The pool and the jacuzzi was perfect, in breezy day we loved getting into the jacuzzi

The view is amazing, amazing, amazing!!! I spent most of the day on sunbeds on the cliff. The descent into the water was a bit challenging for me (my knees 🙃) but I didn't give up

Also the kayak and the paddle is free to use. The location is perfect- close to restaurants, to the beaches. The hotel is very lively and the hosts are super friendly and helpful

The roof-top pool is showered with sunshine from morning until night and the private rock area is equipped with plenty of loungers, so you never struggle to find the right spot

First impressions were that this is not the prettiest location it was extremely central you had so many shops restaurants, pharmacy banks everything you could need, we could see the sea and the hills which had their own charm

It had a small pool area which was clean but we never used it because everyday we were out at either the beach or to the small villages with their amazing charms

We had four beds two pushed together in the larger bedroom, two hairdryers, a full fridge including ice box, a good sized bathroom with small sized cubicle shower and always plenty of hot water whenever we needed, we had two televisions and always found something to watch for the amount off time we where in the room but I would probably recommend a firestick or similar if you are people who like to...

Breakfast was great as a Brit it’s not bacon everyday but we could always find something, all very fresh locally sourced good quality and lots of homemade food we would recommend there version of baked beans, homemade breads, carrot cake and much more as a teaholic I always take my own tea but found myself drinking their coffee every morning from the machine you won’t be disappointed absolutely great...

What makes this hotel special is the costumer service this is family run and they’re all so warm and helpful, like minded very hard working people who obviously love what they and it shows Owners Themis his wife Gordana and son Alexandra couldn't be any more welcoming and helpful

First impressions of the room were that it could do with updating and I almost felt like I had made a mistake booking this, they had given us a upgrade which meant we had 2 bedrooms with lots of storage for all our clothes etc

We were there at the end of the season and always found parking ok and loads of sun beds around the pool and on the beach. Beach is nice, shingle rather than sand. Entertainment in the evening very good

We enjoyed the Thalassa Beach hotel, especially the pool and the beach lounge chairs. It was nice that there were always beach chairs available

Excellent stay, affordable and clean. Room was comfortable and easy to access. The breakfast bar was a nice treat. Hotel felt geared to older crowd, we are late 30s and were youngest in the pool and breakfast by far

We stayed at Thalassa for 3 nights and had an awesome experience. The resort was really beautiful with multiple restaurants and a beautiful beach

Local area is no doubt very busy in the high season, but many shops and restaurants had started to close while we were there

Perfect stay all round - great access to beach and quiet area around, staff were lovely and always helpful.

In general is it a 5Star hotel no question there just a sand beach would’ve been nice. But the beach that this hotel has is also unique. You can snorkel and see the underwater world like nowhere else

We returned to this lovely family hotel in May this year, we have been going there for 10 years now but we had not been able to go for more than 2 years because of the Pandemic

Such a calming beautiful place. There is such a warm family feeling to this hotel. Staff are very helpful. Food is delicious and good selection of drinks.

We were delighted to find the welcome the same as ever, the hotel as lovely as ever, with some very new changes

Bassem keeps everything really good organized and has a good overview over the whole dining room area. The Receptionist that was the most helpful was without doupt Samuel always a smile on his lips and in a good mood

He did an awesome job was always friendly and even made a nice sculpture out of towels. In the Italian Reataurant works Muhamed. He was so nice and always offered his services and never forgot us the whole week

The pool was gorgeous and the sea lovely. It was easy to catch a bus into Chania in the evenings

We had a wonderful stay here! The location is absolutely fantastic—just a few minutes’ walk to a beautiful beach, and the hotel itself is right on the ocean, so the views and atmosphere are amazing

The private beach is much nicer than the photos, perfect for snorkelling, the two pools are great and all the amenities kept in great condition. It’s probably the best hotel anywhere near this price, fully recommend!

We arrived end of season with a baby and child. The weather was amazing (some days a little windy)- but due to the hotels great location we could walk to the beach within 3-4 mins or take the bus to Chania

We are a repeat customer to corinna mare suits and studios. The facility is always clean and taken good care of, there is a beach neaby 2min walk

The service and openness of all staff is spot on and we have throughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to coming back next season

The beach near hotel is extremely quiet but does have free sunbeds, we preferred to walk to Amoudi beach 10 mins away which has a few tavernas nearby but sunbed hire is quite pricey

Restaurant is very expensive for what it is in the evenings and even the staff are clearly embarrassed about that. OTOH they did lay on a free hot meal for late arrivals which wasn't expected but was greatly appreciated

Nice hotel outside the centre of town but close enough to still get in easily and with some local shops and tavernas close by as well

At night only the promenade area is lit so use a torch for the last bit. However a taxi back is only 8 euros. The bus to Elounda stops just around the corner from the hotel and only costs 2 euros

Staff were always polite and helpful. Room was clean, well furnished and had a lovely sea view

Nice atmosphere and views, spacious and quiet, 14+ affects Agios Nikolaos is a watch not to see the city

I would not recommend the pool for kids younger than 10 as it starts off quite deep already and gets deeper, so if you're looking for a hotel which is beautiful, good quiet location and close to shops, restaurants bars and a rocky beach this is the ideal hotel for you

The food was outstanding credible. Came here to do the usual walk through and Instagram pictures. But we had a lovely meal of Squid and Smelt fish. Had some leftover so plenty to feed the many cats along out travels

It was delicious and Kostas was a delight to be served by! You have to try the fresh juices

The bloody mary is moreish and packs a punch! Just a small walk away from the harbour to have a lil dip in the clear blue waters. Walk through, but definitely stay for a meal and legendary service! Yamas!

We were greeted by a very kind gentleman at reception and showed us to our rooms, they also made up meals for us knowing that we have had a long journey with not much to eat so that was nice

The Palm Bay HotelTaverna eating and drinking area is very picturesque and a must for all visitors. It’s cosy seating areas, fantastic views over the harbour and beautiful, colourful surroundings are a must

This is a hotel owned and run by a lovely family. Nothing is too much trouble to them. Perfect location right on the beach. It has a very nice swimming pool with sumbeds and parasols

Further beds can be rented on the beach at a very reasonable rate. There is bar serving drinks and lunches. This is a wonderful area to sit on an evening watching the sun go down and sipping a cocktail or two

The pool was clean, and the beach is just a few steps away. The hotel also has its own convenience store, which is a nice bonus

– The tiles around the pool are very slippery when wet, so either replacing them or putting up a visible warning sign would help prevent accidents

Review for Hotel Kathrin Beach We stayed in the renovated part of the hotel and were very satisfied with our stay

As for suggestions for improvement: – The towel change policy could really be improved — every three days feels too infrequent, especially in hot weather when guests are likely to shower more than once a day

Beachfront and near to supermarket/ touristy shops, nice walking along the sea road

The fact that it is adults only made this a quiet and peaceful retreat. We had great weather so we were able to take full advantage of the pool and outdoor spaces

Lovely, lovely hotel - clean, well designed, great facilities. Our room was spacious and well maintained with quiet and effective air con - which was brilliant. The food was fabulous and value for money (half board)

We enjoyed the themed evenings whilst still feeling that we could experience local food and drink. Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Super service throughout our stay

The spa was fabulous with a wide range of treatments and Katerina was great! No negatives for us - we would be very happy to visit this hotel again

Caveat: I love cats but possibly not the place to go if you are not inclined

Bali Diamond is a fabulous hotel right on the beach. We had a sea view room with a stunning view, this did mean a lot of stairs to get there but it was worth it! There are lifts if you need them though

Rooms were nice and comfortable but the view of sea/beach/mountain is the star of the show

During our stay, the pool area was extremely quiet but we might have got lucky with that! Good location for visiting two nearby beaches and lots of restaurants are close too

Because of the geography, the hotel is built on a slope and therefore consists of a series of levels connected by a series of confusing stairs and lifts. Also confusing is the absence of a pool bar (lovely pool)

This Is Such A Gem Of A Hotel. Its Positioning Right on the beach. Again A Fantastic Stay At This Wonderful Hotel

The location was lovely—right on the beachfront—but the beach had a large inflatable assault course for kids, which didn’t match the adult-only vibe. Luckily, a quieter and nicer beach was just a short drive away
