Rome, Via Rasella, 56, Trevi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Fabulous little hotel. So quaint, friendly and value for money. The room was huge, clean and had everything we needed. Had a spa bath which my husband utilised after I walked him over 10km around the beautiful city. Lauren, on the desk was an absolute pleasure. She was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, including ice and cut lemons late at night.
Breakfast is so...
Room was clean and staff was very courteous. Good continental breakfast. Hotel is a bit old but close to attractions.
The staff made our stay perfect. They were so attentive and pleasant. Mel and team made fantastic cappuccinos for my wife and I every morning with a lovely breakfast spread. For North American travellers, I would classify the breakfast as "continental" however there was a huge array of local breads, cheeses, fruits, and savory or sweet pastries.
The room was quaint and large. The beds were comfortable...
Staff were excellent and responsive. Hotel was clean. Location within walking distance to many attractions. Breakfast was convenient; however, at the price, their are a variety of local options I would consider if I were to return. The matress in the bedroom was fine for the short stay, but not comfortable. Staff again were excellent, I would consider this a good option for the reasons provided
The hotel is in a great location, clean rooms comfortable beds, helpful and kind staff, shower was wonderful and cold ac in bedroom. I will stay here again!
100% the staff at this hotel take service to another level. They are welcoming, kind and authentic. Nothing is enough trouble. I have not had better service at top 5 and 6 star hotels. They are Hotel Cellini’s asset

been there 16th-21th oct. 4 nights = 400€ is average in Rome, but the fact hotel lady cannot take 500€ banknote and made me walk to the closest mall to change it. second thing – nobody said that my window goes to the restaraunt which full of people at 7pm till night. besides these facts the hotel is fine.
The staff at the front desk are very helpful and couldn't have facilitated us more. The restaurant manager Bruno was frankly the best he made our meal a 10/10. We asked him to choose our food and wine which he did and we were chuffed. He even organised for us to finish our wine by the pool, this made my wifes whole holiday. We were told that after checking out we wouldnt be able to use the...
Very nice very quiet great staff.
Had a pleasant stay. The rooms and entire hotel was very clean.
We only spent one night, staff was very serviceable and friendly, also fluent on English and Spanish.
The room was clean and nice, a bit old though.
Breakfast was good, plenty of options.
We had a nice stay.
Beautiful place, not located near the city centre. However, connectivity is not a problem. The staff is cordiAl and extremely helpful. Breakfast provided is decent too. The pretty little place lightens up in the evening and the place is abuzz with music. If you can, book your stay here for an amazing experience.

Rooms are basic but clean and housekeeping came in everyday..bed was comfortable and shower was hot so it was all we needed..for the price we paid we have no complaints it was in a great location with plenty of shops and restaurants near by
This is a lovely wee hotel, with staff who are there to help if you ask. Our room was lovely and they asked daily if we needed it cleaned. I did notice how close it was to walk to the trevi fountain and the Spanish steps which is out the front door turn right and walk for 14mins. It is also within walking distance to the metro for collosium, and if you are going to the Vatican there is a bus just...
This is a space in time and as a boutique hotel it's quaint yet mostly clean. Old timey vibe and a fridge & 1 small tv which we unpluged and used for a charger. You will need European adapters. The staff is nice and breakfast/diner is out the front door and to the side. Located not far from Downtown Rome we can see all of the sites from here and so much more within walking distance. This last few stars...
Really enjoyed our stay here. Great transport links and location to the Colosseum and Trevi fountain. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel is basic nevertheless it was clean and the front desk staff are helpful and friendly. We had a late flight so we asked if we could leave our bags at reception 🫶🏻 I would stay here again.
I recommend this hotel for short stays, comfortable beds, good breakfast, helpful staff, but the bathroom door banged against the bed and it was difficult to get in. The biggest flaw was that I wanted to take a shower late at night, but the water was freezing and it wasn't possible. Overall, the room was very nice and clean.
We were asked to change hotels when we arrived at the reception.
The taxes were charged at the Gambrinus Hotel, near the Priscilla Hotel.
They charged us a little more, but we don't think it's fair, since they made the change without notifying us.
The staff was very pleasant.
The room was in good condition, clean, and had air conditioning, which is appreciated in the summer.

Good hotel with access to train to city
Small and cosy. Do not expect de lux place, but still peacefull at night even surounded by busy streets. Affordable and good link with the old center. Vatikan near. Near the FC Roma stadium :)
Very nice people. Though the bathroom was too small but it still kept me clean 😁
Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Ideal for my 1 night, made use of the parking garage which was nice and easy too.
Small hotel, convenient for getting into central Rome. Room smallish, basic, comfortable. Breakfast very good. Staff very helpful. Would stay again.
Convenient Location & Outstanding Service!

The Hotel was perfect for a short stay. The location is a bit out of the way but the bus stop is a 5 minute walk and takes you directly into the center of Rome. Bus 716 or 715 is the bus you need. The colosseum is a 10/15 min walk from the last bus stop so it is ideal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 5 Euro per person (such fantastic value) although fairly basic the breakfast...
The negative reviews for this hotel seem excessive to me, even though it's certainly not a memorable place. I needed a hotel in the area, and for one night it was acceptable. I had a clean and comfortable room with a whirlpool tub (but no bidet). Cons: noise from the street, no mirror in the room, and the breakfast is rather substandard: almost nonexistent, so-so croissants, no fresh bread, only plastic...
Hotel a little removed from imperial Rome but well connected. Dont have a elevator. It has a minibar and the correct toilet. Cleaning very well. Magnificent staff attention except for the blonde man at reception, I think his name was Igor, he never greets you... Many restaurants and a Carrefour in the area. Good option for 2 or 3 days.
I stayed there with my son one night for a hit and run trip to Rome. Excellent location very close to the metro just two stops from the Colosseum. Not very large but very welcoming and very clean. The rooms are comfortable and tidy, with all the comforts. Varied and plentiful breakfast. Advised
Easily accessible hotel, a good 3 star. Quantity of the breakfast offer could be improved, but still decent.
Nice area, close to Toursim site and metro very close to the hotel

Good hotel n a good close location close to termini station, restaurants, colloseum
The gotel staff very helpful and pleasant and room was basic but clean and everything you need and an extra bonus of refrigerator in room the only downside was no foyer or bar to maybe sit and have a drink after a long day of exploring Rome
This hotel is excellent for storing luggage before an early morning flight, but it's too small and inconvenient for actually staying here and traveling.
Lovely hotel just a 10-minute walk from the main rail terminus and about 10 minutes in the opposite direction from the Colosseum and Forum.
Right in the heart of Rome, the location couldn’t be better. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel has the feel of a family-run place.

Rooms were spotless and the bed very comfortable. A lift available to all floors. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast could not be faulted. Fabulous little hotel with fabulous staff!! Location was absolutely perfect! 6 mins walk from Termini station and 10 mins walk to Coluseum! Trevi fountain 20 min walk. Lots of excellent restaurants near by!

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, making check-in a breeze. They even put our luggage in the room right after we left it there – so thoughtful! Highly recommended. We initially couldn't find the elevator, but it's located in the middle of the first floor, so we didn't have to walk up the stairs, haha.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Location is very convenient and staff is very friendly.
Wonderful room, hotel and service. Perfect location. Super find! I’m very very pleased. Cannot think of any improvements
The place is centrally located. You can pretty much walk to all the historical monuments and buildings. Restaurants, coffee shops and wine bars all around. The staff is amazing. They all were very friendly and very helpful. We will be going back to stay at this hotel again when we visit Rome next year.

The staff at Hotel Varese were exceptionally kind and helpful. We had to leave Italy early due to a family emergency, which required calling a credit card company long-distance to negotiate flight changes. So what can I say? Everything was fine, except for the room.
The first night, when we returned, the door to our room wouldn't open, and we had to ask for help at reception. Luckily, they managed to let us back in after a while.
The location was excellent, but the breakfast was a bit disappointing.
Go there when it’s cheaper than any other hotel
The location was alright, but it wasn’t all that clean. There was hairs in the bathroom, and it was just a big struggle to flush the toilet. Overall I’d give it a 3/5.
This hotel is quite average for the price, but there is no other way, it is like this in Rome. At least there is a single room to stay in, and the buffet is served in the morning, which is very good.
Quiet stay, very convenient for transportation, very good breakfast.
The cleanliness of the room needs to be reviewed

We’ve just an absolutely delightful four days at this hotel. Central location and well served by public transport. Number 62 bus got you to so many places for one euro 50. Loved sitting out in the garden in the morning; sitting with a coffee and croissant...
This is a lovely hotel, situated in a peaceful part of town away from the noise and bustle of central Rome. Frequent buses run from the bus stop at the end of the road, and they take you right into the cultural heart of the city in about 20 minutes. Just returned from a 3 night stay here. We knew when we booked we were staying in the annexe and having read some reviews we emailed asking to upgrade to stay in the main hotel but we had left it too late so the hotel was full. I rate it excellent; the floor was spotless every day of our stay, nothing was lacking.
Very good apartment house. Very good position near to metro station link A (Manzoni). Close to everywhere (Basilica Santa Maria Magiore, Arcibasilica Papale di San Giovanni in Laterano, Colloseum, etc.) Everywhere you can go until few minutes. Everyday we had clean room, new bedclothes and towels. Near apartment house is bistro for breakfast, and few shops with water and snacks.
The room is clean, but the bed that extends from the couch is terrible. The bathroom is not possible to be locked, and the toilet flushes so gently that it barely manages to flush a piece of toilet paper. We were afraid to use it?
The location is very nice in close vicinity of metro.
This stay was in a very great location close to everything you need to see, by walking or by taking public transportation. It is a fairly old location so it seems as if it’s not overly clean. There was a bit of a mold smell in the room as well. Overall good stay.
Great location public transport options were excellent some unfortunate elements late at night though in area
We are very satisfied! We got what I booked - a huge apartment with two bedrooms, a living room + kitchen (with everything you need) with a sofa bed and three not small bathrooms. Hotel was a great location with easy access to a lot of public transport. Just returned from a three night stay here. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is 15 minutes walk from the Coloseum and ten minutes from the metro line. Normal hotel for its price. Clean and tidy. Close to Roma Termini station so great public transport connections (because all public transport lead to Termini).

Shower was cold but they changed a part on it but didn't make much of a difference but had tried.
Was nice to stay for a few nights
The location was excellent, less than a 5-minute walk from Termini Station. The front desk staff were very friendly and even explained how to get to attractions like the Colosseum on a map, and recommended some great spots. They also happily stored our suitcases before check-in and after check-out. The only thing that concerned me was getting bug bites, possibly from mites, though I'm not sure if it...
The location is good and the room was nice too.
But one of the staff was quite rude.
I called to the reception to ask the spelling of wifi password, and the staff said come down to the reception and see the spelling.

The fridge, power outlets, and USB ports were a great convenience. However, the water pressure for the hot water was weak, and the temperature was quite low, around 38℃, which made it feel very cold. Compared to Japanese hotels, the amenities were practically non-existent. On the plus side, the location is excellent, being very close to the station.
Great location, right next to Termini station. The room is very clean! We recommend it!
The location is great .... it is near the train station and also close to the attractions .... rooms are also sizable ....
