I booked a "Smart Double Room | French Bed" and got room 506 with a balcony! The room was renovated, which I was very happy about! The room looks nice, but the cleaning was a bit subpar. I stayed in January; the air conditioning worked, but the floors were freezing cold, so keep that in mind! Breakfast was included: boiled eggs, cheese, sausage, yogurts, fruits (the tasty melon in January was a pleasant...
Lovely hotel walking distance to Termini station. Lots of restaurants nearby. The continental breakfast had fresh fruit, cakes/croissants, yogurts, cold meats, bread. It has a terrace for sunny days
The location is good. Room is a bit small and a bit run down
We chose this hotel for our arrival and departure nights due to its convenient proximity to Termini Station. For our last night, we hoped for a more spacious bed and booked a double room with a terrace. However, there was no terrace, and we received a twin room with two narrow single beds pushed together. The mattress itself was comfortable. Although a bit more expensive, rooms of this size are significantly...
The location was super convenient, with a supermarket and a pizza place nearby. The local pizza shop was not only affordable but also absolutely delicious – I highly recommend checking it out! Plus, our room was very clean.
We had three nights here. The hotel was basic, though everything we needed was there. The room was clean everyday as well. It’s in the hotel district closed to the Termini so it’s convenient to go everywhere. Breakfast starts at 7:30, so ask the front desk if you would like to go out earlier.

A pleasant discovery: I found this hotel online based on reviews. Friendly staff, new and clean room, and a great location right off the ring road. A generous breakfast and a fair price. Highly recommended.
Perfect overnight stay. Clean and tidy room. Very new. Good breakfast, with a little bit of everything. I recommend it.
Far from the center bud I liked my stay in the newly renevated rooms very much, nice and clean pool and friendly staff
Our driver dropped us off the wrong hotel. They called us a taxi. And kept us dry from the rain while we waited
Perfect place to visit Rome. It's just far enough and close enough at the same time. Great Continental breakfast
Fantastic base. 1.15 mins from airport We were ambushed by taxi operators who made the planned journey by train appear difficult. Result 72 Euro taxi drive - suckers. Once here used train bus and metro all very busy but excellent value. 1.50 euros for ticket into Rome centre. Staff at hotel absolutely brilliant. Room basic and clean. Fridge but no coffee making facilities in rooms. They even provide...

The in-room Wi-Fi didn't work, and the lights wouldn't turn off when I tried to sleep. The sewer smell was also quite noticeable. However, the breakfast taste and staff service were good.
Very good stuff and very clean place!!
Excellent staff but room is old
My recent stay with my mother and sister was, without a doubt, the most beautiful and relaxing trip we’ve ever taken together. Our triple room was exquisitely decorated, feeling more like a private apartment than a hotel room. The staff treated us like family, anticipating our needs without being intrusive. They were instrumental in making our trip special especially housekeeping and restaurant staff...
Was welcome with a drinks voucher upon arrive friendly reception staff and helpful. The room we had was a newer refurbished modern style which clean and bright and very quiet however would bring eye mask and ear plug if your a light sleeper as corridors do echo a bit. Cleaning staff friendly and rooms clean. Breakfast your classic meats, cheese, cereals and pancake offering with juices and coffee...
We were very happy with our stay here. The room pleasantly surprised us for the price. The woman at the reception was very friendly and they let us store our luggage in the back office after checkout. The 15min walk from the main station termini was no trouble at all with suitcases, barely any cobble stones. For a night or two in Rome by train on a smaller budget this is the perfect hotel The hotel...

Nice hotel with a good price and location, safe and clean streets in front of the hotel.
The room was a bit disappointing; it was on the top floor with very old facilities and no air conditioning (the hotel informed me there was no cold A/C). However, the breakfast and public areas were quite new, and the breakfast offered a wide variety and was delicious. There's a small elevator. But for an old town, it's pretty good, and there are many restaurants downstairs.
It's right next to Rome Termini, about a 2-minute walk, so the location is quite convenient. There's no obvious storefront, so it's easy to miss sometimes. The room needs a key to open, and you have to leave the key at the front desk when you go out. The room itself is pretty much as shown in the pictures, not too old or worn out, definitely livable. For a short stay, it's one of the more value-for...
This place is really outdated; besides the convenient location, there's nothing good about it. The bathroom door was covered in mold, and on the first day, I even saw maggots crawling on the side of the bathroom door. Honestly, even after a long day out, I dreaded going back to sleep there. The room just gave me the creeps.
It's an older building, and the doors are opened with physical keys. The air conditioning in our room was broken on the first night, but luckily, they had another room available for us to switch to the next day. Overall, it's pretty mediocre.
The room is not quite clean that we found hair at the toilet and the towel smelled bad. But the location is convenient and staffs are nice.

Facilities: Somewhat old, but still usable Hygiene: Excellent Environment: Convenient, safe, and welcoming Service: Superb
Our group of 9 adults (from USA) had a wonderful stay at Hotel Columbia over the Christmas holiday. From the moment I made our reservations last fall, the front desk staff was responsive and helpful in planning dinner reservations and offering all sorts of advice for first-time visitors. One we arrived, they were ready with a smile and a "buongiorno" or "buonasera" whenever we passed by the front...
We stayed at Hotel Columbia for 4 nights with our 14 year old son. Don't judge by the basic decor, fab hotel. Staff where super friendly, really went over and above. It was our sons birthday whilst we where there, the hotel gave him a little birthday card and free drink for the 3 of us. Lovely, thoughtful touch. Breakfast was basic but good choice, fresh made cappuccino every morning. Beautiful...
Rooms were very clean, beds were comfortable. Breakfast staff was excellent and helpful, good coffee - could use a wider selection of hot food. Bathroom shower was the only downside - stall was tiny, shower head was terrible and water not warm enough. Reception desk staff who checked us in was extremely helpful and welcoming, made for an excellent check in experience.
Good size room and decent bathroom. Great location and walking distance to major sites and really close to Santa Maria Maggiore. Lovely staff. I would stay here again once I am back in Rome

5/5 for the kind and helpful staff - but unfortunately I had to change the room 2 times so I have to give 4/5. My first room was hot like a sauna and the A/C didn’t work. The second room smelled like cigarettes. Third room was good. Too much plastic-packed food at breakfast, less plastic and more fresh would be better also for the nature. Women with long hair should notice that the showers don’t have...
Since the municipal code in Rome doesn’t allow the heaters turn on the room was freezing! Had to insist the staff who are not friendly to provide us a portable heater. It was a cold night in Rome. Also parking is tough and expensive and the hotel is tight quarters.
Excellent staff, quite hotel, convenient location
The hotel is ok, and the room is good; however, during the booking it was said that there was a parking available, and when we arrived there wasn’t… only five spots for the whole hotel. They said we supposed to reserve a parking spot, but there wasn’t anything saying that we had to do this. And the attendant of the reception was very rude…
Easy to get into centre by bus. Helpful staff. Breakfast was ok but go early!
Cleanliness, customer service and breakfast was amazing. Only wish there were more/ better toiletries and the shower was very small and tight. There was also a step into the bathroom which was a tripping hazard (our room was small to save money.)

This is an incredible hotel with incredible service located in one of the most strategic areas to walk to Rome attractions. The amazing hospitality by the kind staffs. As we checked-in, they gave us a free drink ticket at the bar in the hotel. The quality of the cocktails was really good for the complementary drinks. Fantastic boutique hotel in a great location. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The staff are extremely welcoming, helpful, and just all-around perfect. The hotel location is good but the room and hotel is at different location. Room is with heater.
The staff were very friendly. Depending on where your room is, it’s a little confusing to get to as it’s in annex? But it was a good location right next to the station. I did have a small bit of mold in the fridge though. I do wish that the room came with a kettle or something so that you could eat. Other than that it was a private place to stay, small but not uncomfortably small.
Location was good , staff friendly , need just improvement on cleaning
Great location, adequate room facilities for one night passing through. Breakfast is only fair- stale pastries. Recommend add at least hard-boiled eggs, more edible.
We had a fantastic stay! The room was spotless, the staff were friendly, the location was perfect. Few minutes far from the train station and the subway. The only downside was the limited breakfast options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your next travel adventure!
I thought it was a good idea to be so close to the terminal, but unfortunately, no. The area swarms with quadriceps people when it gets dark. They even tried to pickpocket my 255lb 6'2" man! I love their clean, spacious, modern, refurbished rooms, bathroom was really well equipped with a good shower and the best hairdryer I have ever seen in any hotel. The room was excellent, clean and tidy, with all necessary amenities. The front desk service was professional, and it was conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The city tax was €7 per person.
It is relatively close to the Vatican Museum. You need to go up to the 4th floor to check in. There is a 24-hour vending machine at the front desk, but you can go to the nearby supermarket to buy items before 11 pm.
It is a good hotel in a perfect location and it is affordable as well. If I ever go back to Rome, probably I will stay in the same place. The employees working at the reception are super helpful
The room was decent—nothing special, but clean. The bathroom quality varies depending on the room. Unfortunately, mine had a moldy ceiling this week, while others were fine. This is listed as a 3-star hotel, and I give 5 stars within that category. It is wonderfully close to Roma Termini, the staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean, and Rifugio Romano restaurant is across the street. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the shower was exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
Good location, 450m walk from Rome Termini Train Station. Friendly and helpful staff, room are clean and quiet. Happy to use the cups with morning greeting. Beware of “pickpockets” Rome Termini is also a place to shop and Conad Supermarket is at the corner. And my favorite Toast House for sandwiches.
