Rome, via Sistina, 79 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The staff was outstanding.
The amenities and the room were 3 stars - even less
I would love to give a better review but so many little things spoiled it for us. First there clearly were 4 paintings on the wall but now only three and one hook in the wall. Then we checked the bathroom and some of the towels were dirty from the previous people. It had clearly not been cleaned from before. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned the next day. The toilet seat was wobbly and the button...
This hotel is near the city center. You can easily walk everywhere. The breakfast is good, too. We visited everywhere easily.
The Code was a great place to stay. Its right nex to the Spanish Steps, it located conveniently between two metro stations so you can easily take the train from Roma Termini to the Spagna or other station. Its an 8 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. I felt safe walking around. The food at the hotel restaurant for dinner was top notch!
It was nice because it was close to the Spanish Steps and the rooms and bathrooms were spacious. However, it was a shame that there was no free bottled water in the rooms...
The room is slightly small and the equipment is OK. The main reason is that the location is more convenient. Still recommended

Everything very well executed. Welcoming, professional. Spotlessly clean. Handy location for walking, metro and nice neighbourhood. Breakfast in particular exceeded expectations. Overall great value, would return without hesitation.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink and fruit, which was a lovely touch. The service was excellent, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Its location is fantastic, about a 15-minute walk to the Colosseum, which was perfect for strolling back after watching the New Year's Eve fireworks. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, a really great hotel!
Recently renovated hotel in a historic building on a very quiet street, close to all tourist attractions within walking distance. Beautiful, well-soundproofed room with comfortable bedding and a large bathroom. The hotel has two terraces with a superb view of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff.

The hotel reception service was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, and everything was great except for the small rooms.
Nice, nice hotel with a great location.
Wonderful, helpful staff and guys at the reception. Good, tasty breakfasts, but without meat products and the range of food at breakfast does not change, that is, we stayed for 5 nights and the same food got boring by the end of the holiday.

On the positive side: The location is very close to the Spanish Steps, the pasta at the restaurant near the entrance is quite good, and there's a Carrefour nearby. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, the excellent service is commendable. The front desk helped me exchange for change and call a taxi. The restaurant staff, rushing to catch a flight and not having time for breakfast, even brought...
Cozy room, clean, cleaning every day, polite reception staff, always smiling and ready to help. It is located next to the Spanish Steps 2 minutes walk, 5 minutes to the metro Spain. I am very pleased. Photo of the street to the hotel.
Everything was good, place was very close to the center of old town
The hotel is very conveniently located, and the front desk service is enthusiastic. Travelers are especially reminded that they should book a taxi to the airport one day in advance. The room is clean and the breakfast is OK. There is a rest area next to the front desk, with sofas, free juice, free coffee and bottled water, which is worth a thumbs up👍. I will stay in this hotel again next time.
Arrogant staff. I spent 430AUD per night, TOO expensive!!! Not sure based on which standard it was considered as 4 stars, very small space, no kettle or coffee machine in the room, poor sound insulation, loud guests. Apart from that, it was amazing.
To be fair, that was the best I could get in Rome. Not a great destination for a traveller but, perhaps for a tourist with a pocket full of money and...
Although the hotel is old, the location is very convenient. The key is that the service staff is particularly warm and thoughtful. Next time I come to Rome, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Rome, Via Monte Altissimo 20/24 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very nice quiet place and convenient to take public transportation to most tourist visiting places in city centre. Super markets and restaurants are within minutes walk. Hotel staff are nice and breakfast with the price is fantastic.
The location is excellent; the city center and Termini Station are easily accessible by public transportation. The breakfast was quite generous, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
Facilities: Fairly complete.
Environment: Quiet, despite being outside the heart of Rome, but well worth the price. The metro station is less than a ten-minute walk away.
Service: Breakfast was quite good, and the front desk was very welcoming.
It bills itself as a 4 star hotel, but it is lucky to be a 3 star. The location is not close to downtown, or the airport. The beds are terrible, and extremely stiff and uncomfortable!! The shower was tiny, no working refrigerator, and the AC only worked part of the time!
Not very for from central easy to travel. Everything and breakfast is good 👍 Recommended

The hotel is very well located if you don't mind taking the bus or tram into the center of Rome. It only takes 20 minutes, and the trams run till quite late at night. The four person room was quite spacious and comfortable. For the price, this hotel is a great deal.
Very good hotel, well-received by the reception.
Near the heart of Rome
It's OK. There is a bus station right outside the door, which is convenient for taking the bus. There is a market on Sundays and a supermarket opposite the door, which is pretty good.
The room is a little small. The main disadvantage is that the sound insulation is not good. The road is very noisy and there is also noise when walking on it, which affects sleep.
Beautiful location, great service
Perfect, very clean as in the photo,
Do not hesitate to book
The bed is not big, the facilities are relatively new, very quiet, there is no subway, but it is not far to walk to the main places. There is a market opposite on Sundays, which is very interesting to go shopping.

I stayed there last week in November. I booked a superior double room , which was quite small even for one person. Stayed there for 6 nights. The location is fantastic. The rooms are not soundproof , the air conditioning cannot be adjusted from the room—only from reception, I couldn’t control the water temperature in the bathroom, the cleaning was average, and the rooms are old with a lot of wear. 3 stars earned by location and breakfast (really good!). My room was not nice: Behind the bed was a thick layer of dust, also in parts of the closet. The curtain was full of stains (inclusive a huge red stain). The bathroom ist very old. In total it's bearable if you just sleep there 2-3 nights.
Service was okay, the toilet wouldn't stop running water and they fixed it during a day.
We stayed here and enjoyed our stay! The staff were very friendly and fun. We enjoyed there breakfast, it was only a few steps away from the trevi fountain and a good walking distance to everywhere else.
My only complaint was the rooms were smaller and there was no view but that is very likely in Rome
Highly recommended – excellent location, beautiful design, good breakfast, great air conditioning, and very good value for money.
The location of the hotel is perfect – almost right next to the Fontana di Trevi and just a few minutes walk from most of Rome’s major historic sites, surrounded by dozens of restaurants, bars and entertainment spots.

Located in a small alley in the city center, it's close to many restaurants and bars and the Tezueva Fountain. We enjoyed our stay and our room. It was all brand new. The location is walkable to the Vatican however we ended up booking a taxi one day, which the front desk was able to arrange for us. This was the best way to get a taxi in my opinion.

Super hotel. Just reopened after 5yrs. Beds etc feel new. Perfect location to visit absolutely every highlight in Rome. We booked for two nights and extended to a week. Breakfast unbeatable 👌
Perfect location, close to many sights but on a quiet street. Thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop bar. Impeccable and welcoming service with a personal touch. Andrea made me a fabulous gin creation! Highly recommend the hotel and rooftop bar!
We would like to sincerely thank and commend Fabio from the hotel reception for his exceptional and courteous service.
We were facing a problem, and he went above and beyond to support us in every way possible. Without his help, we would have been in serious trouble. He was incredibly empathetic and dedicated to assisting us.

Amazing staff! Georgia was outstanding at checkin and check out. She’s helping us ship some things home as we are traveling on. Eraldo took great care of us in the bar, great personality, knows his drinks and funny.
My favorite hotel in Rome, one of the best in Italy. Nice large rooms, perfect location and quiet surroundings in a loud city.
It's really nice, close to the Mouth of Truth. It takes about 18 minutes to walk to the Colosseum.

I have mixed feelings about this property. I do not think the hotel should be allowed to place customers in rooms with construction happening directly outside. The suite I booked was 200 meters from the hotel's main building, but closer to the train station. It felt like staying in a guesthouse for two nights. The cleanliness was acceptable, but on the second night, they didn't replenish the water, tea bags, or even tissues, which was a bit outrageous.

Not a great location for an old guy like me because of the extreme hilly streets that must be accessed to get to the hotel we like to walk as driving in Rome is something crazy so that was a bit of a setback

The front desk staff was very patient, and the room was clean.
It was nice being close to the station, and the breakfast was delicious.
The front desk staff were very friendly.
However, the smell from the curtains and carpet in the room persisted, which was difficult.
I think you definitely need to check for odors.
Thank you to the friendly staff for keeping the room clean. However, the breakfast is a bit lacking compared to a 4-star hotel.
Also, the city tax is 75 euros for two people for 5 days... I wonder if it's the same at other places.
Compared to other hotels in Rome, the hotel is a comfortable place to rest.
I chose this hotel after reviewing various sites and AI recommendations, but aside from breakfast, I didn't particularly appreciate its quaint antique charm. The front desk staff were also unfriendly, and I don't think it will be a significant landmark in my memories of Naples. I wouldn't recommend it to others.
The hotel is really good, conveniently located very close to the central train station/metro station. Although the rooms are quite old, they are fully equipped, and even the double room doesn't feel too cramped.

We had a nice stay for 2 nights in Rome in September. The location of the hotel was lovely and our room ended up being much larger than anticipated. Like much of Europe, the air conditioning in our room was one of the least powerful ones in a hotel of our 2 week trip, which can be an American specific gripe.
