The view was awesome, the swimming was cold for the time of year and wasn't heated, probably under refurbishment. The apartment was great, good night of sleep other than the early morning bangs and clangs form the room I was in which had the cleaners cupboard, sometimes at 6:30 am in the morning. No gym though. Found this place by accident. It is definitely a welcome oasis from the congestion and dirt of Sicily's larger cities. While morw than 10 minutes away from almost anything the Atmosphere, the rooms ans facilities made for a much needed place to relax during our stay on the island.

This property is wonderful.. it's out in the country. Probably 20 miles from Saracusa, And that is what the issue is: If you drive to the property, no problem at all. But if you take a taxi, be prepared to exist on only the breakfast that they offer. Punta Tipa is a wonderful hotel with the most amazing sea view. Reception is very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a classic room which was more than adequate, nice and spacious, big bathroom as well. Lovely breakfast included. The restaurant also serves delicious food and the view is breathtaking. I loved staying here. It is in walking distance to everything and markets, shops, theatre and bars. It was so friendly and the room was really big and airy. The place is clean and in a convenient location, the breakfast is tasty and filling and the service is top notch. They have made our biking holiday easy and smooth and very pleasant. We biked the Sicily Divide; starting and ending in Palermo. Our bike bags were stored here which really helped with our logistics. We want to bring the wonderful hosts with us for the rest of our trip.

Location of the hotel is very centralised to most attractions. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide shower gel, hair shampoo and conditioner and we were told to use bath foam as body wash and hair shampoo, which we find it very odd. The breakfast was not palatable.

Hotel situated in the very central area of Catania and few steps away from piazza elefante. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed but no tea/coffee facilities in the room. Parking is at Eur15, which is a must as its very hard to find a parking slot in the vicinity.

I really loved staying here. Sarah at the front desk was so kind and helpful and the location was amazing. The room was large and super clean. The free lido across the street was fabulous. My only negative was that on Friday night the club nearby was so loud that even with all the windows shut, I could not sleep until they shut down which was past 1 in the morning.

4* Hotel which is a little outdated, but rooms are clean; breakfast is very nice (typical Sicilian food - fresh food and orange juice); free parking; nice location along the boardwalk (it takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the center); free sun beds at the beach. For night we recommend earplugs (there's a club nearby with music outdoors until 3 a.m. during weekends).

Beautiful location with incredible amenities. The location is right on the beach with chairs and an umbrella you can rent and it is in the heart of town allowing you to walk everywhere! The staff is incredible and extremely helpful. We had a pleasant experience with the manager of reception who spent extra time helping us out through the language barrier!

Since the building is stony, the accoustics are very loud, so don't go here if you want to spent time in your room and want some silence; you hear all the staff (rattling cleaning vehicle ), guests arriving/leaving untill night, and noises from the cooking classes.
