From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and offered every comfort imaginable
Great 5 star hotel within walking distance of Florence. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from central Florence. They also have a shuttle that runs about every 30 minutes between 9 to 5 as well
Breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The hotel’s attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for true luxury and relaxation!
The location is 25 min walk from city center, shuttles are nice but there are only 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. If you want to drive back later than 18:00 you need to take public transportation or taxi
Note the city tax (8€ per night per person) atr note included. Other extra services are very expensive: 29€ per day for parking a car, laundry is per item and socks are 3€ so it sums up high
Overall, Castello Di Velona is a hidden gem in Tuscany that offers an unforgettable experience. It’s the perfect destination for those looking to immerse themselves in history, luxury, and natural beauty
Absolutly beautful property! Front desk staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming
My husband and I stayed at this beautiful location for our honeymoon this week! The service was outstanding, the staff was so kind and attentive, and the amenities were first class. The thermal pool was wonderful
The thermal pools were magical, staff extremely attentive, and food delicious. Although we did not use it, there was a gym on site. I was able to go on runs early in the morning by myself and felt very safe
The property was exquisite. The view spectacular and the staff top notch. The indoor and outdoor thermal pools and sauna made our stay very relaxing. The buffet breakfast was amazing.
Everything was 5 star. It’s like living in a castle in the sky with hot thermal pools everywhere and amazing food. We loved our outdoor patio with the sunset view of the panorama.
A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures
Rooms
We stayed at gardenia room in villa house. The space of rooms were more than enough, actually were the biggest ever been. The bathroom was modern enough, maybe I would like some more auxiliary furniture in rooms.
This is a new hotel in the outskirts of Pistoia. This is no disadvantage, as Pistoia is a rather small town. All amenities are excellent, as is the service. The restaurant provides excellent food at reasonable prices
Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield
The unit we rented was an apartment style with one bedroom and sofa bed. That part of the hotel was brand new and beautifully done. Very quiet and dark in the evening
Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all
Breakfast is your typical buffet with breads, eggs, bacon and cereals as well as cheese/meats plates. Coffee is made using a real machine by hand and is also good
Great stay. Nice room and big balcony. Will definitely stay here again.
Excellent location and facilities. Good buffet breakfast. Roof top bar is gorgeous and the weather was so nice we swam in the heated rooftop pool in late October!
The front of house so helpful in providing great restaurants and booking for us. The restaurant and bar staff were charming and efficient. Drinks and breakfast were lovely
The pool was fantastic and relaxing after a days sightseeing with fantastic views over Florence. Very comfy bed and no noise to be heard at night. I would definitely stay here again
Perfect rooftop terrace and pool on the roof.
Walls made of paper and lots of noise coming in from the corridor. All in all a great hotel but the noise part makes it not worth the ~200€ price tag.
Paul, their head concierge, is beyond exceptional. Provided a lot of help with day trips and recommendations that we took and loved. They even helped with a car rental that was dropped and picked up at the hotel
Also, we utilised the pool which was refreshing and in excellent condition and the massage was possibly the best ever experienced! The only drawback I hesitate to add is that our wish for the AC to be cooler but we are Australian and prefer it that way
We were there in April 2025. The service was beyond excellent, the hotel and grounds were breathtaking, and the food was very good. I would highly recommend staying there and we will be back soon.
The best hotel we have stayed at. Its quiet luxury in terms of service - the hotel staff at all levels are down to earth and treat everyone equally and kindly and their service does leave you wanting for anything
The view it’s gorgeous, the quality of the food too and the people that work there are amazing. I have travelled a lot for work and I never had a positive and warm experience like this one
And Paul also came and picked us up when the taxis were on strike for a night (so kind). The rooms are immaculate and extremely clean. They are beautifully decorated and spacious
Excellent holiday hotel: very nice location on a small harbour with sandy beach and crystalline waters; ckean and cozy room with sea view balcony, very welcoming and kind staff; excellent breakfast and very good food at dinner (we were on hb); very good swimming pool area and 2 tennis courts; thanks to the whole staff for making our stay unforgettable
Nice hotel stay. The rooms are dated, but clean and efficient. The beach is lovely and the pool area very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice family holiday.
Beautiful location, right on the beach. Fantastic views from our balcony of the beach and and the sea. Pool and beach beds were never crowded and the outside areas were well kept
Beautiful beach, clean rooms, friendly personal, amazing breakfast, good fish menu. Location of the hotel was good. Very nice place to spend a holiday. We stayed there a week with a big group
This hotel was very uniquely located and features an amazing sandy beach. People and service was great throughout the stay and i highly recommend it for families
Special thanks to Andreas, Simon and David for their personal attention and service. We shall return this hotel in the future

Well appointed rooms, mine had a balcony seat and bistro table, safe with key for valuables, the bathroom pristine, large shower cubicle, crips towels bidet. air con in rooms and rest of hotel
Stayed at the Adua for a week with a (well organized) Newmarket tour. We had a pleasant room (310) which had an excellent bathroom and quiet and effective aircon
Breakfast was fantastic — a wide variety of options, both classic and delicious, catering to all tastes. The pool was crystal clear and wonderfully refreshing, while the jacuzzi provided the perfect spot to relax
The spa experience was pure bliss — a real haven of peace and indulgence. The staff were outstanding — warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They went above and beyond to make us feel like royalty
The public rooms were beautifully furnished and the restaurant was excellent with good food and brilliant staff. In fact the staff throughout were very good, providing faultless service
Also is perfect for exploring Tuscany — Florence, Pisa, and Viareggio are all close by and easily accessible. As for parking, just ask the reception for directions

Everything was perfect but If I could give one piece of constructive feedback it would be, if they ever decide to redecorate the rooms in the future, to make better use of the high ceilings to install taller wardrobes to optimize storage, as some of the rooms are quite small and it can feel quite crammed with two large suitcases
The staff were amazing, very friendly and couldn't enough for you. We were half board, which if we went back we wouldn't have again. I would definitely recommend Bed and breakfast, which was excellent
We had a lovely stay at Palace Hotel a few weeks ago and the staff was absolutely wonderful, so friendly and thoughtful. the hotel is gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options
Staff was friendly and professional. Property clean and as advertised. Would recommend to family and friends.
Julian at check in was amazing, he personally showed us around the hotel and escorted us to our room.
The evening meal was nice, but consisted of a limited choice of five items for each of the three courses. This menu changed every three days, so by the third day you may not find anything you like
My main criticism is the bar and lounge area on the ground floor. It is a lovely area, but is hardly used. The bar is not open until November when the roof terrace closes for drinks
The rooms have such thoughtful and charming touches like mini fridge and kettle, coffee and tea services and spacious closet space. Parking is abundant on the surrounding streets that they will validate which is amazing
Loved everything about this property, location, so many places to eat and be entertained, loved loved the Monday market that covered almost all of the promenade, fabulous experience and staff were top notch!!
A charming modern and high quality hotel with a pool, gym, sauna and hot tub. Great breakfasts with a good buffet, extra items on a menu and highly professional and attentive staff
The room was nice but smaller than the photos fot that category . WiFi very weak. Towels were very worn and thin. Breakfast ok but needed an upgrade
The front desk manager is the person you wish to be dealing with at every hotel. The room with a seaview is stunning, enjoy golden sunsets, a spacious clean and practical place to relax
They have other facilities that time did not warrant my use this time but look amazing including beach access, a gym, and pool. Will need to see if I can bring the family another time to enjoy all the amenities
We went one time for dinner which was nice, they are having combination of buffet and set menu. The pool and the setting around is very good and the garden is super maintained and was our preferred spot
There was plenty to do within or from the hotel (pool, tennis, walks, mountain bikes, great snorkelling trips with Elba Excursions). The pool was large and immaculately clean with plenty of sunbeds - it never felt busy
Beautiful stay! The outdoor area was a dream. 10/10 pool, garden, private beach. Was possible to book boat ride straight from the hotel beach. Was able to rent a bike for free to get the store also
We had a lovely experience here from beginning to end. Great staff, beautiful gardens, great pool and wonderful little beach accessible straight from the pool area
Great breakfast, lovely restaurant and very good pool bar with fresh sandwiches etc. Had a great stay and would definitely come back
Booked on fly gratis and it met expectations. Nice clean quiet complex very friendly staff. We only stayed one night but I would also recommend it for longer periods. Private equipped beach and beautiful swimming pool
The staff was extremely kind and friendly. The rooftop pool bar and seating area was great. Our room was clean and very quiet couldn’t ask for a better experience
Solid modern room with beautiful views from the terrace. Located 7 mins walk from Santa Novella station and 10 min walk from the major sites. Also right next to the markets. Service was fantastic and friendly
Extremely helpful and very friendly, they make you fell at home! The rooftop pool and bar are a very nice addition which you should definitely take into account
The room is quite warmly decorated, and the hotel is in a very good location. You can reach famous attractions such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore within walking distance
I was afraid that I would go out shopping and would not be able to check out in time, so I told the front desk staff about it. The front desk staff was very considerate and extended the time for free
Excellent hotel & if we have the luxury of returning to beautiful Florence, we would gladly book here again! Very friendly and accommodating staff with very clean and well-appointed rooms

It’s the kind of quality that makes mornings special. The amenities are exceptional. The gym is fully equipped with weight racks, bench press, free weights, barbells, and various machines, which is rare for hotels
They really went above and beyond trying to accommodate our room preferences and ended up upgrading us. The breakfast is outstanding with delicious fresh breads, jams, and everything else on the menu
Hotel Firenze Number Nine is a true 5-star gem in the heart of Florence. It’s just a 7-minute walk to the Duomo and about 15 minutes to Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi, and Accademia
The location is surrounded by excellent local restaurants away from the typical tourist traps. The hotel is immaculate and the staff is incredibly warm and helpful
This hotel is an absolute gem! Staff, in particular Saeed, are super helpful. I normally only stay at larger chain hotels, but after staying at Hotel No. 9 I will look for more brands like this
The hotel room was spacious and had a nice atmosphere. The location was excellent, making it convenient to get around. All the staff were friendly, so I was very satisfied.

Very upset our flight was delayed and we couldn’t enjoy this resort more. I plan to rectify that with the airline. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and great breakfast buffet! It’s legit a resort, pool, beach, food, bar
Really nice place! Would definitely stay again and encourage Italy natives to visit here!
Positive points: cleaness of all the places, from the garden to the rooms and common areas; directly on the beach; nice swimming pool; good quality of the food
Beach hotel
Nice hotel close to the beach, fantastic with sunbed and umbrella executive for us.
Very nice half-board dining at evening
For some reason they charged me for an extra umbrella on the beach the day I was leaving. The issue is not the 35 €, but the attitude towards guests, when you are simply lied to in your face when you leave
To improve: zero entertainment for kids, the bar has a nice view but is a bit "sad", no real happy hours or fun activities; the gym is really basic. After a week we found it a bit boring
If I could give 6 stars for service I would. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Restaurant / buffet is the best on the beach. The staff were so helpful and nice. They couldn't do enough for us
The beach is just fews steps from the hotel or if you prefer a swimming pool, they have a big one, it's clean!!!. It's perfect for a big family. Sometimes you would like to cook by yourself
Beautiful location. Very nice beach and pool. Fantastic food. Friendly service. Rooms looking a little tired.
Awesome!!!! Everything is great. There are many activities for kids and staffs are nice and helpful especially when you are in Alpicclub. Everyday they have a program for you to join
this kind of room is perfect!! There are many tools to support your cooking!! You can sit and have a perfect view while eating
Great fun trip in total relaxation with the family, welcoming structure, super entertainment and top services!!!🚀🚀🚀

The swimming pool is very large, not only on paper, and the location is strategic, open view, direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, adjacent to the pedestrian area with convenient access for cars and buses
the breakfast room/dining area in particular feels more like a canteen. The gardens and pool area also feels somewhat neglected
A very nice hotel, really convenient, just a few meters from the beach and the city center, clean rooms, attentive staff. A full breakfast and dinner with a very varied menu.
Friendly staff, clean room, clean bathroom, and underground parking. what more could you ask for? You're in the center of Marina di Campo, and amenities come at a price
The only disappointment was from the lack of maintenance and investment in this historical hotel: the garden is not taken care of at all, the hotel's restaurant amenities date back to the 80s and would benefit from a refresh and so are the rooms with old beds/decoration/dryer etc
The rooms are large and bright, even if it is true that furniture and systems would gain from a restyling, the large and welcoming common areas without being cold and impersonal. conclusion, excellent stop for a stay!

Excellent spa-like setting, 2 nice pools. The restaurant is a Michelin-starred establishment. Huge suite, updated with beautiful views. Cortona a short taxi away, but you can drive here easily.
What an incredible stay at Il Falconiere! Exceptional service and unforgettable experiences — from Silvia Baracchi’s amazing cooking class to an unbelievable dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant
We would stroll from our suite (which, by the way, is like a dream home – when the morning sun streams through the windows, the curtains gently sway in the breeze, and the view opens onto the Tuscan landscape, it feels like something out of a movie – there's no better way to wake up), following the delicious aromas, and arrive at what is probably the most beautiful breakfast space we've ever seen
Breakfast in the glass room overlooking the Tuscan hills was pure magic. We loved wandering through Cortona — charming streets, fantastic restaurants, and surprisingly great shopping. Already dreaming of our next visit!
If you need to plan a wedding as we did, Giada is sure to exceed the expectations of the most demanding bride. If time allows have dinner at their rustic, traditional sister restaurant, Locanda Il Molino
To top it off the staff goes above and beyond. We even had an early checkout and they packed us a delicious breakfast! You NEED to come here - it’s the perfect retreat to unwind and totally relax
Well, the star of the show here is undoubtedly the pool, and whirlpool. Even during a heatwave though, the pool was, shall we say, refreshing
The Whirlpool was delightful! This is an old school, family run property and it really shows
The bathroom in the junior suite verges on spectacular with it's enormous walk in shower and chromotherapy lightshow. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were a bit ont he firm, plump side for us
Fabio ran the room effortlessly, which was super impressive as sometimes there were 30 or 40 people enjoying breakfast at the same time, but everything was replenished quickly and efficiently
Kudos to him for his level of professionalism and courtesy. The location of the property is great, on the northern edge of town with tons of parking just outside the doors
there are ample areas to sit about and read, or play games on the ground floor, which are probably well used because the rooms don't appear to be particularly large
The room was not perfectly clean.
There's a stray hair (that's not mine). The bath towel was is the wrong way out.
The breakfast service is always excellent, although the space is so close together.
Room was perfect, bathroom fantastic and staff were perfect. Daniel on the bar was very friendly and added so much to my stay. Central location perfection for seeing the sights and access to bars. Great stay
The staff was beyond friendly and we especially loved the little touches: cookies in our room, our bed freshly made every time we left and returned , they even gave us water bottles before our drive home, booked our spa or any reservations for us, called taxis for us in minutes, and any time we needed more toiletries they immediately sent it up to our room
Throughout my stay, the team displayed a consistent level of kindness and professionalism—every staff member, including those in the dining area and housekeeping, went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating
Right from my arrival, I was made to feel genuinely welcome by the attentive reception staff, who quickly handled my check-in and offered insightful suggestions for exploring the city’s highlights
I enthusiastically recommend the Golden Tower Hotel to anyone traveling to Florence, as it blends attentive service, spotless surroundings, warmth, and security for a stay that truly stands out
The only negative point would be the high price of the Spa/swimming pool if you don't take it as a package with your room. The pool is nice and refreshing but doesn't not justify 22 euro for few hours
Hotel location is good, only 12 minutes from train station and within walking distance to other main sites. It is a super clean boutique hotel with a small garden inside which highlights it's attractiveness
The room was very nice, the staff very kind and helpful, the garden beautiful (we liked a lot taking our breakfast there) and the spa with the swimming pool so cool. We will definitely come back 😊😊😊
Small but good breakfast selection
Nice room
Heated swimming pool
Friendly helpful staff
When we approached the reception at 6:45 am, the breakfast bags were ready for picked up and they also provided us with hot coffee in paper cups. I'll definite trily stay at this hotel for our next trip
There are brochures introducing the history and attractions of Florence. The front desk also provides tourist maps. There is free afternoon tea in the afternoon. The overall experience is very good
He got all our dinner reservations in order and as luck would have it they had a spectacular pig roast out in their courtyard one night (at $50 each) that we immediately signed up for, and really enjoyed
We loved every minute of our stay! There were incredible musicians one night which made the evening so much more special! Drinks and aperitivos always amazing
The bed could be more comfortable, the free wifi had no reception in our room which was really not that great. The breakfast was ok, the pool we didn't swim in because it was too cold
My partner and I just returned from a stay in this breathtaking corner of Chianti, and we are already counting down the days until we can return. It is truly a piece of paradiso where time seems to stand still
The wine cellar tastings were a dream, with exceptional local vintages paired with genuine hospitality that made us feel truly pampered. We can't wait to go back, this gem is pure Tuscan bliss for couples
Nestled in the heart of Chianti Classico, surrounded by endless vineyards, the perfect temperatures made every moment magical. we woke up to golden light and crisp air
