The swimming pool is rather small, meaning guests often have to take turns. On the upside, direct access to a subway station downstairs makes getting anywhere incredibly convenient
My husband and I were very happy with the room layout and the overall service. We even received pastries and small gifts for our New Year's Day check-in. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Tokyo.
I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu
As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station
It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい
No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy

A stay at The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, a Luxury Collection Hotel is an exercise in elevated luxury, offering a sophisticated sanctuary high above the bustling streets of Tokyo
From the seamless service to the thoughtfully designed spaces, it stands out as a premier choice for travelers seeking both comfort and style
• Exceptional Accommodations: The rooms are the epitome of luxury—spacious, impeccably clean, and designed for ultimate relaxation
The beds are a particular highlight, providing an incredibly restful sleep experience that rivals some of the best in the world
Otherwise, the room & view was nice and service was great. The breakfast in the restaurant was just okay. The food you order isn’t really that fresh, and the buffet items were lukewarm at best
We had to inspect the plates and cups at the buffet line because there were multiple instances where there were dirty dishes and sticky cups there

After more than six hours on the road from snowy Ginzan Onsen, arriving back in Tokyo and checking into Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo felt like returning to comfort and familiarity
Being close to Shimbashi Station makes it easy to get around Tokyo, whether by JR lines or the subway. There are also plenty of dining options and convenience stores nearby, which adds to the overall ease of staying here
This hotel is super conveniently located between Shimbashi and Yurakucho, with tons of food options nearby. Ginza is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven right across the street
This is a very good hotel in the center of Tokyo, close to Shinbashi Station and the Shinbashi entertainment area. The hotel has full service and at a reasonable cost
Great location, directly connected to Shimbashi Station via an underground passage. The facilities are excellent, and the service quality is superb. It feels like it was once a truly top-notch hotel
This is my third year in a row staying there and I will be back next year too. The hotel team are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel

I found a dirty towel in the bathroom (see picture 2), so the hygiene is a bit questionable
The location is super convenient! I'll definitely choose this place again next time! There are also many self-service stores on the first floor, and plenty of convenience stores just a few steps downstairs – it's fantastic!
This is my second time booking with this hotel company and so far my experiences have been great. Affordable hotel, conveniently located near the train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
A bit small space if you have 32” luggages (two) and two more 20” luggages like us but still manageable. Staffs are helpful, speak English and well organized on the luggage storage
It's located right beside Higashi Shinjuku station exit B2, with lots of convenience stores nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful, room is clean and perfect for a solo traveller
10/10 would stay here again next time if I'm in the area!

The hotel is great, just a bit small. There are plenty of restaurants around, and lots of shopping and drugstores. It's bustling with people. I'll definitely stay here again next time. They also have self-service coffee.
There are two Richmond hotels in Asakusa, and we stayed at Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International, so it’s important not to mix them up. The hotel charges a local accommodation tax
Overall, this hotel is great for location, views, and lounge amenities, but those traveling in a group or with large luggage may find the room size a bit tight
After shopping at the Uniqlo downstairs, it was very convenient to go back up and enjoy afternoon tea or a drink while taking in the view
The location is excellent ,getting to Kaminarimon and the Asakusa area is very easy and walkable. However, the room felt quite small
Luggage space was limited, and it became inconvenient especially since there were three of us with three large suitcases

The hotel room is relatively large, the breakfast is very good, the location is also good, there is a shuttle bus to Shinagawa Station
The hotel facilities are good, and the hotel has a free shuttle bus to Shinagawa Subway Station, which is very convenient. There are not many commercial shopping nearby. The hotel is right next to a beautiful park
Nice cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the evening. Great views on higher floors. Superb breakfast buffet with international specialties. Walkable from Metro and train station, but shuttle available
I've stayed here a few times and also visited others staying here, so I've been quite familiar with the property over the years
There is also a FamilyMart convenience store inside the hotel, which is very convenient. The facilities and room size are better than other hotels in Tokyo
The bathroom is somewhat dated with an integrated bathtub shower, but the shower unit is one of the easier types to operate and the hotel delivers reasonable water pressure. The executive lounge is excellent

The room was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. We were able to swim and relax at our leisure. There was a jacuzzi by the pool which was very comfortable
Best Hotel in town. Great service, amazing views from any room and wonderful spa, pool and fitness. Satisfied everytime so far since 2016
It was December, but we didn't feel cold in the water or by the pool
Centrally located in Roppongi, with a high-end Midtown shopping mall right downstairs. This area sees fewer tourists compared to Ginza and is popular among local affluent residents, with a well-developed dining scene
I stayed here with my family of three at the end of the year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had dinner and breakfast in the room-in-dining area. It was very delicious and satisfying
Luxury and quite expensive hotel, large and comfortable room with a wonderful view of the city landscape; maybe you'd expect for that price a better breakfast buffet.

The only thing is, don't expect too much from the 'Chinese preferred' aspect; it's just a regular hotel that accommodates foreign guests. Regardless, checking in and out was fine even without speaking English or Japanese
The location is excellent too, with many subway lines within walking distance, making it convenient for sightseeing as a solo traveler. Being in Ginza, you can just step out and shop
The only minor inconvenience was that some in-room instructions and facility guides weren't in Chinese and needed translating. Other than that, everything was pretty good
The hotel is conveniently located near the Ginza-Itochime station on the yellow line and Tsukiji Market. If you enjoy city running, the back of the hotel is a great place to do it.
The room was quite spacious for Ginza, I could easily open up a large suitcase. They had a laundry room, microwave, and everything you'd need
Great location, right in the middle of Ginza, close to Matsuya Ginza & Mitsukoshi and other shops as well as restaurants. The hotel has Lawson & Family Mart on site and 7 Eleven at the next building, very convenient

The lobby is big and has lots of rest/seating areas with some small amount of drinks provided from 5am to 10pm and it was a very relaxed atmosphere
This hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just one stop to Tsukiji Market, and the Yurikamome Line to Odaiba is quick and convenient
The view from our room was breathtaking, and we were incredibly lucky to even see Mount Fuji clearly from our window!Truly unforgettable!
The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help with a warm smile
Wonderful hotel with top notch service, good amenities and fantastic location to catch the beauty of the Tokyo Tower and its surroundings while being right next to the station. Will definitely look to stay again
The hotel was spotless and impeccably maintained throughout. Breakfast was excellent, offering a full and generous buffet with a wide variety of both sweet and savory options. Everything was fresh and delicious
Our stay at Park Hotel Tokyo was absolutely wonderful. Beautifully designed with an incredible painting covering the walls that made the whole space feel like a living gallery

Very close to Nishi Shinjuku station and also can 10minutes walk to JR Yamanote line. Close to manu restaurants and convenience stores. Breakfast i chose to buy cafe late and sandwich at ST Marc cafe downstairs
Fantastic location just 5 mins walk from Shinjuku station, great food choices around 24/7 and not very far from lively buzz or Shinjuku. Real value for money, definitely recommended and will revisit in future
We expected a small cramped room because it's located in the city center, but the room was very spacious with a large shower room as well! The staffs were exceptionally polite and helpful throughout our stay
I booked this hotel for four nights and I had a comfortable stay. Typical of hotels in Tokyo, the room is quite small at 13 sqm. but I found it to be adequate as a solo traveler
The room was clean, the location was convenient, and the staff were warm and polite.
Great hotel, conveniently located, and check-in was smooth and reassuring.

The hotel was close to the subway exit and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was very convenient. The large public bath was on the top floor and had a great view.
It was a shame that the front desk couldn't lend me a charger before I left.
There are many places with close locations so it's a mistake to check in 😊
It was a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning.
Good service staff very nice 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
When I went to Japan near Asakusa, I often stayed at APA. The rooms were small, but I got used to it. It was clean and the location was good! I think it would be good for those who are traveling once to visit.

The location is great, close to the subway station, about a 5-7 minute walk. A highlight is the supermarket downstairs (it's a restaurant supply store, so many food items are cheap)
If you head towards Tokyo Tower and cross one intersection, you'll find lots of local eateries and izakayas. Overall, it's good, and the breakfast is excellent
Facilities: Newly built hotel, well-equipped, very new and convenient. Both the bathroom and room hygiene are excellent. Environment: The hotel is quite large with many rooms
This feels like a decent budget hotel. Overall, it's clean, comfortable, and relatively quiet. The price is even cheaper than the Toyoko Inn next door
There's an elevator from the south exit of the subway station, and it's just a 5-minute walk to the hotel! The front desk staff are mostly Southeast Asian
It's about a 15-minute walk from Ueno JR Park Exit, and there are many local restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for dining

2 mins walk from Keisei Ueno station you have the main JR Ueno station - where you can take the Yamanote Line/Shinkansen to all the major sites/station. It is also walking distance to Ueno Ameyoko Shopping Street
Overall stay is wonderful for solo travellers. Room is just nice for 1 person but with limited space to open your luggage. However the location is very convenient and the room is kept cleaned
The hotel does provide parking spaces but is limited to availability and it cost ¥3000 per day, which is cheaper than the overnight coin parking
the hotel location is super good! very near to ueno station and ameyoko street. the breakfast is delicious, the bakery is toptier i love shiopan soooo much!
Staff was very friendly and immediately came to assist and ensuring my entire process was taken care of. They are always there ready to assist and help with anything and are always very friendly and polite
Hotel location is good as it is just 5-10 minutes walk from Ueno Station. Breakfast area is small but it still has homemade bread. I asked for high floor & they really put me on the highest floor
Very interesting stay at Anshin Oyado Shinjuku capsule hotel. I really enjoyed the complementary food and beverages during my stay. I have always wanted to stay at a capsule hotel and this place did not disappoint
The pods were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers with an adventurous bone
They offer complimentary breakfast, curry rice for dinner, ramen, and all-you-can-drink alcohol, coffee, and other beverages. Of course, the food at outside restaurants is more varied and tastier
Best place for Solo travellers, even with friends. I am extremely grateful to have experienced the public bath and artificial hot spring that made me feel in love more into Japan’s culture
Love this place - my go-to in Tokyo. Love the atmosphere and the provisions. Has good laundry facilities, and the location is excellent for access to Shinjuku station, shopping, and bars
This hotel was mostly satisfactory, even though it was a bit pricier than similar accommodations, likely due to its prime location right off a bustling street in Shinjuku

Cleanliness is good, but due to their eco friendly policy there’s no cleaning of room daily only make up bed, staff did not check the bathroom so they didn’t top up the shower gel even though we had removed it to indicate replenish
No swimming pool else it’ll be so perfect. Breakfast variety was very good
Great location and excellent service from staff. This is my 4th stay with them and they never fail to impress me. One comment is that the bed tends to be soft and if you have back issues, it might not be suitable.
Both the service and the environment were excellent. The room was relatively spacious, and I could even open my 28-inch suitcase without a problem. Plus, I got to enjoy a beautiful sunset view!
Extremely satisfied with our stay!
This was our first time staying at a hotel in Japan. Since we only speak Chinese and English and no Japanese, we had imagined countless potential problems before going
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful; they even assisted with luggage storage. The room itself was clean and tidy. While it wasn't huge, it was perfectly adequate for two people.

Very happy with our first stay in Tokyo. Arriving late at night after a long flight, it was easy to get settled and catch some long-awaited Zzzzzs. The room was on the smaller size, just enough to be functional
I can say the comfortable for this hotel is max. Especially for the bed is 11/10. Is walking distance to the train station, just if walking to shinjuku hotspot location still need about 10 mins
The housekeeping system is also odd — they replace the towels every day, but they don’t actually make the bed, which makes the room feel only partially serviced
The hotel is conveniently located in the Shinjuku area, making it easy to commute to many places in Tokyo. There is also a water refilling station on our floor, which is a nice and impressive touch.
Great location and above average room size Love the onsen style bathroom. An area for improvements is to provide additional coffee bags for coffee drinkers at the amenity bar.
Service very good and so nice. Everything is good in the city. Everywhere shopping point can walk 3 to 10mins. 靜中帶旺。

It's surrounded by high-end shopping malls, convenience stores, drugstores, and long-standing restaurants – everything you could need! I especially loved the 3rd-floor lobby area
If you stay multiple nights, they don't clean the room, only change the towels. Gsix is right at the doorstep, and it's well-connected to everything
This hotel is very well located in the heart of Ginza and provides all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. We were given pajamas, slippers, and other amenities, which was a nice touch
Although the room is small, as is common with most hotels in Tokyo, it is very well located, very clean, and I believe it offers everything needed to enjoy a pleasant stay
Great location, just a short walk from Ginza Station A3 exit (straight, then turn left). There's a Chinese restaurant right outside the hotel
Convenient location, room size is reasonable compared to other hotels in Tokyo, less than 2 mins walk to Ginza Central Street.

There is a nice department store with wide selection of food and drinks so you can buy them and enjoy in your room. Gym and swimming pool are also very nice, but due to the covid you need to make reservation to work out
Large rooms, super comfortable bed, refreshing rain shower from the top. Butler service attentive and quick to respond. Nice scent throughout the lobby. Room service menus are surprisingly reasonable and delicious
Also the television dubs the only English news (BBC) in Japanese and I could not for the life of me work out how to stop it. I could have asked but it was late. probably could have been fixed so my fault
We always have an excellent stay at Shangri-La Tokyo. Fei Wang at the front desk was especially helpful this time with arranging our accommodation and helping me with my Golden Circle membership
Good location! The staffs are very helpful, I would recommend this hotel to Tokyo travellers

The hotel is conveniently located close to the subway and a convenience store. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and they offered luggage storage. I highly recommend it for solo travelers.
The room was accepted in its purest form, there was no smell of cigarettes
Rooms are a bit small and slightly dated, but overall it’s good value for money. Breakfast and amenities are solid, and the area has restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance

However, the staff were very friendly. The room was the smallest I've stayed in during my visits to Tokyo, and a bit older, but they did provide fresh towels and cleaning every day, which was a nice touch
The room was small, but given the cheap price, it's pretty good for a city like Tokyo where space is at a premium. It's super convenient with a convenience store and a subway station right downstairs
The hotel's location is very convenient, with multiple subway lines nearby. We stayed during peak season, so there were a lot of people everywhere – the lobby and breakfast area were really crowded
Quite old but space is big enough. There is breakfast included with that price is generous.
There's a convenience store downstairs, and it's not far from various subway exits, making it super convenient for getting around
Thank you comfort inn for helping my first trip in Japan be the most comfortable experience! The staff were so helpful, willing to speak a little Japanese with me and always accommodating!
Breakfast always came in clutch !!!
