Centurion Hotel Ueno Ekimae, Tokyo1 / 30

Tokyo, 6-8-9 Ueno, Taito-Ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool
There are also several restaurants in the area, as well as easy access to Ueno Park, Ueno Zoo, and the Ameyoko street market. The room is small but can accommodate two average-built persons
It was a nice experience staying at Hotel Centurion Ueno. The location is very convenient, with train stations nearby and a convenience store just across the lot
The room was perfect for our family since everyone had their own bed. The beds were comfortable, which made resting after long days of sightseeing easy
Although the hotel was under renovation at the time, overall it was still an awesome stay, and I give it a 👍👍
It's close Ueno station and walk about 10 mn , this area have more shops and resturant
The only downside was limited space if you’re traveling with large luggage. The hotel’s location is very convenient it’s close to the train station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants

Perfect stop off for a break when flying in from the international airport. Makes connecting to train lines easier if you feel lost. There is also a small train station just across the street 40m it's easy to get too
The room size was perfect for one person, and there's a shuttle bus to Haneda Airport in the morning, which takes about 7-10 minutes to reach the terminal
I specifically booked this hotel to catch an 8:30 AM flight. It's very close to Haneda Airport, and there's a shuttle bus every half hour. The staff were very helpful with luggage, and their service was excellent
If the price difference between a standard and a deluxe room isn't too big, it's worth upgrading as it's much more spacious. Cleanliness: The bathroom is quite large for a Japanese express hotel, and it's clean
Facilities: Excellent, with a direct shuttle to the airport, and pick-up/drop-off service available. Hygiene: As expected from Japanese hotels, spotlessly clean. Environment: The hotel is very well-maintained
It only takes 10 minutes to reach Terminal 3 from the hotel, which is super convenient. Plus, there are two 24-hour restaurants right across the street, so finding food is really easy

The front desk staff were so kind and friendly. I appreciated the evening happy hour which included snacks and free soft drinks and alcohol. The public bath was great and opened both in the morning and at night
Nice cozy hotel. The breakfast restaurant is not that big but they can handle with a lot of customers. Nice place to come back. 3 min walking to Kita-senju station.
Kita Senju is a great location that's not overly touristy but still has so many great transportation access to all the ideal parts of Tokyo
Great location. Nice and friendly staff. Hotel is very clean. There is everything you need in the room regarding amenities and you could also pick up more at hotel reception. It is more than worth the price!
But since the pandemic, I guess they changed the system and stopped the buffet serving, reducing the menu to minimum setting which is too bad. I wish they would go back to the buffet style soon!
I loved the neighbourhood and the hotel was just a 5 minute walk from the station and within walking distance to many great restaurants, bars, convenience stores, and cafes as well as a Donki

The location is near sunshine bus terminal so it was convenient for me. need to walk a while to reach ikebukuro station but no problem for me as there are many stores to browse and look at on the way
Quite a long walk from the train station but there are so many shops along the route. Decent cosy room for 2 adults and nice breakfast provided.
The room was a little on the small side. It was clean. The environment was tidy. Breakfast was plentiful.
We chose to stay here on our last night, and it was also very convenient for getting to Narita Airport.
The room was comfortable and the breakfast was abundant. I would definitely visit again.
staff friendly and helpfll but room small and room really clean

Conveniently, a supermarket is located diagonally opposite, open until 9 PM, and stocked with vegetables, fruits, pre-made meals, beverages, pastries, and daily essentials – perfect for meeting your basic needs
The hotel is quite far from the main subway line, besides not all trains stop at Shinbanba station, which is something to keep in mind, if you travel from Haneda airport
So, you need to get off at Shinagawa station, then change for a local train to get to Shinbanba that could be a bit inconvenient
I loved this hotel! It's no-frills, but it has everything I needed as a solo traveller, plus it even has an onsen within the hotel! Location-wise it's nearer to Shim-bamba station, which only has the local Keikyu line running through it
Located in a quiet neighbourhood near the central business district of Shinagawa, facing a street of food options. There's a nice riverside bridge nearby, with cafes and indie shops as well
In general, the hotel itself is small, but cozy. There is a supermarket near by the hotel. Hot bath is bit small, but it's quite unusual having onsen for business class hotels in Tokyo

The location is super convenient—you're close to the station with a direct line to Narita, plus there's a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart right nearby. Check-in was a breeze and the room had all the basics
One of the things I found hard about choosing a hotel in Tokyo is trying to work out the best location. well this is it! Train direct from the airport stops right outside the door of the hotel
Stayed 5 nights then went to Kyoto for 2 nights. Asked for same room or same corner room. No guarantees. But I checked in today to a corner room 2 floors higher. Was very thankful 🙏
Rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s pretty standard for Japan. We were on the 12th floor and actually had a nice view of the city streets
The only downside is that the rooms are quite small but I was fully aware when booking about this
Just a heads up that breakfast is available, but it’s not included in the price

“Small compact room but has everything you need for a place to sleep while exploring Shibuya on your doorstep! Perfect location. ” “Excellent location close to all main attractions in Shibuya
One of the best choice you may get in Shibuya if looking for a spacious room for 2 with a bargain which is also extremely close to the JR station
However one thing that stayed the same over the years is the hot/cold water shower system, hope the management can look to change it as it takes a long time for hot water to come out and when it does it becomes scalding hot
Staff was really helpful and nice. The room was clean and had everything you would need during your stay. The hotel is a few minutes from Shibuya station and also Shibuya Crossing is a walkable distance from it
I always stay here whenever I am in Shibuya because its price and location wise is the most worth it around Shibuya area. Room is small but has everything you need
No complaints due to the excellent service standards (staff speak very good English) and its stone throw proximity to the New South Exit of JR Shibuya

It's been a while since I stayed at Apa, but I'm satisfied! It's about a 3-minute walk from Shintomicho Station Exit 3^ ^ There are two Apas in the same row, but they are at the back, so be careful
Clean, good communication from front desk for late night check in, nice toiletries in the room, comfortable bed. Staff was helpful to store luggage. Rooms were small but that’s to be wxpected
Fantastic place, very clean. Received fresh towels, tea and water every day. Great location.
Rooms are small but practical. Service staff is helpful and respectful. Rooms were cleaned and the option to book with the included, breakfast was a highlight for our stay. The St, Lucia restaurant food was incredible.
It being our first time in Japan and it was beyond our expectations. Huge thanks to Suzukisan and his recommendation for ramen. It was a quick walk from the hotel and delicious! We can’t wait to return to Japan
The room was extremely small but it was very clean and tidy. The ventilation of the room was also very nicely done. The bathroom was also clean and tidy. However, the bathroom was too small to feel comfortable

I can't recommend APA hotels enough! They were an absolute life saver during our Japan trip! Conveniently placed close to the station, professional and friendly staff, and outstanding value! Clean and cozy rooms, great AC, perfect for travelers on the go!
I have visited many APA hotels and they all have terrific service and staff and the rooms are exceptionally well kept and cost effective. My first choice when traveling in Japan.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who travel to Tokyo. Walking distance to Ginza and very close to train station to get you to Narita Airport
Location wise super cool. Just opposite to several train stations. Rooms are small but good with all amenities.
(I takes about an hour from here to Narita) ohh, I almost forget to mention great breakfast they serve
It’s a business persons’ hotel near the Kyobashi station. Some convenience stores are near here.

The rooms are well-equipped and very neat, with humidiefier/air cleaner and daily room service bringing fresh towels and bath robes. Breakfast is plain okay, but the ice cream in the evening is just gorgeous
The hot spring facilities are modern, clean, and truly relaxing, offering the ideal way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Its location, just steps from Tokyo Dome, is simply unbeatable for exploring the city
Location is superb, within a walking distance from Ueno park and its museums, very near Koishikawa Korakuen garden, Tokyo University, Tokyo Dome and metro stations
The ice machine for making ice cream is also a great addition to the hotel and will brighten up your day after a soak in the onsen
Excellent hotel with a fast and efficient check-in process, perfect for travelers who value convenience from the very start
Very good service, quiet and clean. The onsen and sauna is amazing, a bit small, but has a cozy and nice atmosphere

During a work trip to Japan, our good customer picked this place for us to stay. The place is clean, friendly and affordable. There is a family mart and a 7 Eleven at a walking distance if you ever need anything quickly
I was at this hotel for 2 nights of my tour in Japan, first night which was 29/03/23 and final night which was 05/04/23. I feel like I got the same room for both of my stays, 511. The bathroom was very spacious
The Wi-Fi was not that bad, 30 minutes to upload a 3GB video to YouTube. We didnt have the correct power adapters for this power points and the staff at reception were very generous in giving 3 adapters to us
The service attitude is very good. The location is slightly remote, close to the Harry Potter Studios. I stayed here to go to the studio. The area is very similar to the Japan in Ultraman when I was a child
I really like the location, it’s a safe and quit place. The hotel and the employees are awesome. We will rebook again and will introduce to all my friends.
The service attitude at the front desk was good. An uncle was the receptionist that day. His English was not very good but he was able to communicate

Great location, no unpleasant odors in the room, and excellent service.

Very nice near in train station
I’ve stayed here several times in the last years. Has all the amenities you need. Rooms are fairly spacious by Japanese standards and the coin washer and dryer do their job
The room is clean. Few minutes walk from the train station, fast food restaurant and convenience store. Express check out. You just need to drop the key card.

I highly recommend it to travelers who want to stay for a short while because it is good value for money nearby! The only regret is that the room is a little cold, so you have to wear a coat when you sleep
It was clean, had plenty of amenities, and even provided a hair dryer, hair iron, and curling iron, so I was able to stay empty-handed, which was very appreciated
☺️ This time, I had a meal plan, and while meal vouchers were supposed to be given at check-in, they weren't, so I was confused when I went to get breakfast. You can choose between a croissant or a rice ball
First time for me in a capsule hotel, much cozier than I expected. For someone like me who likes a proper meal before starting the day, the breakfast was a bit meager (a cup of miso soup and a rice ball)
You are given a cup for drinks, and you can help yourself to coffee and other beverages. There is a welcome drink in the lobby, and it changes every day. This time I had apple juice and orange juice
There's a 7-Eleven nearby, the environment is peaceful, and the overall experience was fantastic.

Hotel change ladies' spring password on each Monday. We back to hotel after midnight and I cannot get into the spring without a new password given
Always enjoyed my stay at Superhotel especially their 健康朝食, it is the best way to start my day!

They helped me with the luggage forwarding service forms. They offer good amenities and their onsen is also really nice. The rooms are a bit small which is expected in Tokyo but they have made it comfortable
After two announcements in Japanese, 5 minutes later, when I was trying to doze off, they did it two times more in English. Then followed it by accidentally playing music through speakers for the whole building
The location of the hotel is really good - right next to the train station. Getting here from Narita airport was easy. You have a few konbini within 2 mins from the hotel. The service from all the staff is very nice
Now the entire building is up and everybody was off to the breakfast. (Since there's no water) I think they handled the situation poorly. Nowadays, price for this hotel on cheap days is around 11,000 Yen per night
Room cleaning takes 5 hours from 10:00 to 15:00, you cannot enter your room during this period. While you can opt out of cleaning, the 5 hours of noise of them cleaning other rooms is still bothersome
Great hotel with great location and staff. Very easy check-in with very friendly staff. Nice breakfast with plenty of options of both Japanese and western cuisine. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need

It’s very neat with a good level of cleanliness and hygiene, nevertheless, I am used to changing my sheets most days and washing hotel cups myself. It is barely enough for one person, or medium couple with two bags max
The room was perfect for a solo traveler, equipped with a fridge, microwave, air conditioning, and 24-hour hot water. No complimentary bottled water, but there was an electric kettle
If you are not a huge person, don’t mind smaller rooms with small bathroom, and don’t mind spending 25 minutes railway/metro ride every morning to reach center of Tokyo; then this is the place
Expect to use your bags as a dresser but there two hanger places with hangers for suits etc. Also, expect to close your bags in order to use the room. Myself with one small bag, I loved it
As always, it's a code-based check-in, which is great because you don't have to worry about losing a room card
It's conveniently in front of the Shiomi Airport so very helpful! I am amazed of how clean the room is but the noise outside can be easily heard inside. Still very happy with the booking!

We liked this hotel is near at the subway and there’s a lot of restaurants nearby. But We traveled with our 2 babies 3y/o and 7months and we used a lots of clothes and this hotel don’t have a washing machine 😞
They offer laundry in house but it’s expensive. And then they gave us a 2 twins bed and push it together but didn’t put anything in the middle so my 7 months old baby got stuck in the middle all the time 😞
Extremely convenient location and the hotel is surrounded by tons of restaurants and shops. Service is perfect. Parking at the building is costly but hotel offers discount
Good value. Very small room , as is normal for Tokyo. Reasonably close to the station and very close to many lovely little bars and izakaya.
Very good location, the service is good. The room is larger than average in Tokyo, I would stay there again in the future for sure.
Great location, lovely hotel and comfortable beds. Thank you for putting extra bed for us.

Staff: The staffs were very friendly! Cleanness: Bedding, shower, fridge are overall very clean. Even though it is really humid in Japan, there was no stuffiness or stickiness in the room
Was a great stay as we had a complimentary upgrade. Eventhough it was only for a night the room was also ver spacious and across the street there are popular cocktail bars too
The area around the hotel is bustling with so many affordable food options, you'll be spoiled for choice! It's an excellent base whether you're heading to Mount Fuji the next day or using it as a starting point to explore Tokyo
Rooms felt abit old, however location is really ideal if you have an early bus ride out from shinjuku. Staffs were friendly nonetheless.
Getting here from Narita is also quite convenient; I took the Skyliner to Nippori and then transferred to the Yamanote Line, which took about an hour and a bit in total
This hotel is super close to Shinjuku Station, about a 5-minute walk from the South Exit, and it's very easy to spot

The breakfast ¥1500 is fantastic, curry sauce with rice and eggs are delicious. Also the 玉子烧 and 味增汤is delicious. The underground station exit 3 is 2-min walk, you can use exit 1 if you carry luggage, which is 3-min walk
Plenty of amenities! From vending machines, to water dispensers and even microwaves, we could even do our own laundry with the provided washing machines
The room was also very comfy and cozy, I had a good sleep every night. The reception staff were also very professional and polite communicating in English which they are quite well versed in too

Friendly, suitcase storage possible after check out.
Asagaya is one of the best neighborhoods in west Tokyo — calm, livable, well-connected, and far more pleasant than tourist-heavy areas. If this is where you want to be, the hotel’s location is close to ideal
That aside, this is a clean, efficient, well-run hotel in a great neighborhood. If you’re looking for a straightforward place that works and offers excellent value in Asagaya, this is a solid choice
For a two-star hotel, this would easily be a five-star experience based on value and location alone. The only reason I’m not giving it a full five stars is the key-card policy
On a previous stay, staff treated a missing card as a serious issue — including chasing us down and charging for it before confirming whether it was actually lost (it wasn’t)
Treating disposable key cards like physical keys, and printing room numbers directly on them, feels outdated and unnecessary and creates friction where none should exist
