Marunouchi Hotel, Tokyo1 / 25
8.8
Tokyo, 1-6-3, Marunouchi (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is very spacious considering the location. The hotel is conveniently connected to a train station with multiple lines, which makes traveling around the city very easy. Every day of my stay truly felt like coming home. It was a very warm and comfortable experience.
Coming directly from Tokyo Station, you can access the hotel's exclusive elevator via the Marunouchi underground passage, which saves you the hassle of crossing streets above ground. Being on a high floor, the view of Tokyo Station with its busy trains passing by is quite spectacular. The room is small but exquisite, typical of Tokyo style. Breakfast was relatively simple, and at 2500 JPY for a child...
Enjoyed our short stay the night before our bullet train to Kyoto early the next day, which the location was perfect for. The rooms were a combination of new and traditional, which was extremely comforting. The view over Tokyo station was also great!
I really love this hotel and have stayed here multiple times. The location is excellent, right by the Marunouchi North Exit of Tokyo Station, just across the traffic light. It's also very close to the Imperial Palace, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. This time, I noticed some changes: the twin beds were wider, and the 8th-floor breakfast is now entirely self-service
Good location. Big bed. Can see the whole Tokyo Station tracks from window yet still quiet inside the room. Good amenities.
The location is great, very convenient if you need to switch cities as it's easy to catch the Shinkansen from here. Plus, Ichibancho has tons of delicious food! It's also super close to Ginza, just one stop away.

Park Hyatt Tokyo, Tokyo1 / 30
8.8
Tokyo, 3-7-1-2 Nishi Shinjuku (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Was looking forward to experience the much-talked-about renovated Tokyo Park Hyatt, but was disappointed to discover nothing new, perhaps just refurbishments ! The standard of Hyatt staff service is excellent as before, this time was very impressed the Executive Assistant Manager paid personal attention ! Overall, rooms are average but room rates are charged too high !
The service is very average, the environment is good except for the night view, the price is too expensive, there are very few Chinese services, and they don't pay attention to Chinese tourists.
1. After the epidemic, hotel prices in Tokyo are really scary. 2. I stayed here once before on a business trip. This time, I felt that the overall service quality was not as good as before. The staff did not greet you when you met at the elevator entrance. I wonder if the hotel leadership is so arrogant. The so-called Japanese service is also worrisome. The quality of staff varies. 3. The reservation...
Check out the same hotel in "Lost in Translation". It has been open for 30 years. It still has a full sense of design and warm and thoughtful Japanese service. I like it very much and look forward to reopening it after renovation next year.
The service can be said to be the ceiling of the industry, meticulous and thoughtful without leaving any trace. I stayed in the hotel for a long time. I often drank tea and drank in the room and looked at the scenery, but I never saw the cleaning staff. However, they cleaned up twice a day. Very detailed. There are several staff in the restaurant who can speak Chinese, and communication is very convenient...
Needless to say, let’s catch up on the memories before the renovation. The details and aesthetics are still great. The facilities and furniture are nothing to say for a hotel that has been open for 30 years. It will be temporarily closed for renovation in May 2024. Looking forward to a new life!

Tokyo, 6 Chome-6-7 Ginza, Chuo Ward (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The location is super convenient, right in the heart of Ginza, perfect for a short stay in Tokyo. It's great for shopping and close to everything. The room was small, and there was construction noise nearby starting early in the morning.
Few times I stay here but this round they give me a smaller room, after complain then they arrange another room for me. Trying to convince me to accept the smaller room until I show them last few time the room I stay then only accept my request
The hotel's location is great, right in the heart of Ginza, making it super convenient for taxis and late-night snacks. The only issue was the construction site right next door; they started drilling at 8 AM, which was a real pain.
The location is superb, right in the heart of Ginza as soon as you step out of the hotel. Everything else was pretty good, the only minor complaint I have is that the cleanliness could be improved.
Cleanliness: Spotless Ambiance: Stylish and minimalist Ambiance: Elegant Service: Warm and welcoming
Love the interior of the hotel. The vibrant colour found at each floor, the colour at the lobby lounge...  The area reserve for hotel guest at the lobby level is thoughtful and comfortable. The classic pac man and Space invader station is so classic and free!  Location wise is perfect.

If u have a big luggage, I don’t suggest you to walk from Shinagawa station. Quite a distance though. But overall is good!
The hotel is good and conveniently located near the train station. The breakfast wasn’t very diverse, but it was tasty. The room was medium-sized and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
New and clean rooms, neighbourhood is nice and quiet.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel situates between two JR stations, so it is convenient. Definitely will book this hotel again if I visit Tokyo.
A wonderful hotel with a great location, right next to a major transportation hub. It's very clean and the service is excellent. The room size is absolutely standard for Japan, although the official photos make it look larger.
The room easily accommodated two 24-inch suitcases, and the soundproofing was excellent. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, and directly across the street from the NEWoMan shopping mall, which is fantastic for browsing!

Overall the hotel is located at a strategic spot. Great place for people who like to shop and hang out at Shibuya areas. Very convenient as it is surrounded by many malls and shops, easy to get good around. Only the room is quite small for, as you won’t have enough space to open all the luggages. You need to take turn to pack ur luggage and open ur luggage. Also u need to give way to people if...
Everything is within short walking distance in Shibuya. 10 seconds from Shibuya metro exit B2. Location unbeatable. Small room and small bathroom with tub. Aged but clean. Wifi good. No noise. Great for train spotting from window.
Good but little small for over 1.85cm
The hotel's location is right in the heart of Shibuya, close to the subway station, and there's a bus stop right outside, which is super convenient. The room was clean and tidy. Although there's a train line downstairs, the windows have sliding wooden panels specifically designed to block out noise, so it wasn't noisy at all. The lobby on the first floor offers complimentary toiletries, tea bags, and...
Fantastic location just a cross road away from Shibuya Station , and a hop and skip away from Hachiko statue and Shibuya crossing. We got in via Narita Express and dragged our luggage across the street to the hotel which was easy to find once you spot Bic Camera and McDonalds. Room was tiny but still very comfy and does the job if you wanted to be very close to the train station. Very quiet too so we...
The best hotel I have stayed in Tokyo! The location is a stone throw from Shibuya station, the room is amazingly big to open up 2 large luggages and 1 medium luggage at the same time, there is also complimentary snacks for hotel guests from 6.30pm to 10pm. The only downside seems to be there is no heater in the room for winter season (or maybe its just me that doesnt know how to operate 😆). I strongly...

Had an amazing time in Tokyo. R&B Hotel is in a great location. It’s close to the train station (a two minute walk) with lots of shops and restaurants around. A 7-11 is right across the street as well. Connected to the hotel is a Royal Host which I had a nice breakfast at. The hotel has 12 floors. The second floor is the lobby which has an assortment of amenities (washcloth, razor, q-tips, etc) to...
Loved this hotel so much. Convenient spot with a Don Quijote, McDonalds & a seven eleven all opposite it. Nice staff and the most peaceful train station sleep sounds. The pajamas were nice too :)
Love this hotel esp with the selection of amenities near the lobby. U got what you need. Very near to otsuka station. I always love and choose this neighborhood. Room wise, i believe it's Japan's standard. But it's comfortable and clean.
Not a bad room, although a bit small. In the bathroom, there is space for both a shower and bath. The breakfast buffet is ok, but there is no change to the menu, and there is no miso soup. Otherwise, location is good, right next to JR Ōtsuka Station on the Yamanote Line.
had a hard time finding this one some time in Aug 2019, but it's conveniently located near the restaurants, starbucks, and grocery stores. The staff are helpful.
Great place to stay ! Lots of good food offerings around ! Very friendly English speaking staff, n they have a guided tour which should not be missed ..

I have three luggages but I only can open 1 in once. ...
Lived for many times! And after the upgrading it will definitely be one of my choices next time
The location is super convenient, really close to Shinjuku-sanchome subway station. There's a Lawson just a few steps away, and you'll find Muji, Uniqlo, Isetan, and more nearby, making shopping a breeze. The room isn't huge, but it's well laid out – I had no problem opening a large suitcase. The self-service check-in and check-out machines downstairs are a great feature, and the staff also speak English
This hotel aligns with my expectations for a typical Japanese city hotel. The room was small, barely leaving enough space to open a large suitcase, but it was clean and quiet. The breakfast was a bit better than what I've had at Toyoko Inn previously. For the price, it's a great option. (P.S. The pictures are not related to this review)
The room was a bit small, but very clean. The subway station is right downstairs, and it's only about a 700-meter walk to Shinsaibashi. The size was really an issue though, I couldn't even open my suitcase properly. There's an Aeon supermarket downstairs, which is great for grabbing food.
The room decor felt really nice, very new and clean. Plus, the TV had screen mirroring, which was a first for me in Japan! However, it's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station, about ten minutes or so.

Facilities: Excellent, always my top choice whenever I'm in Ginza. Cleanliness: Very good, spotless. Location: Convenient transportation and plenty of dining options nearby. Service: Excellent, I'll definitely be back.
The hotel's location is excellent. Right outside, you have the Ginza subway station, and across the street, there's another subway entrance, providing access to about 5-7 subway lines. This makes getting anywhere incredibly convenient. The lobby staff were very welcoming and understood our needs perfectly. Excellent location! Right in the Ginza district, with a subway station nearby. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, and there are tons of great restaurants in the area.
We had a wonderful family trip staying at The Gate Hotel Tokyo by Hulic. The location in Ginza is absolutely unbeatable — easy access to shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The views were stunning, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay...
This hotel is quite new and situated in the absolute heart of Ginza. The design and decor are really on point. Rooms are small, but that is the standard of Tokyo (one of the most populated cities in the world). Staff was very servicefull and helpful. Definitely would recommend staying here.
First of all the room sizes are small, not only in this hotel but all across japan. So its not really a minus but still it makes it hard to pack and store the luggages. I chose this hotel for my two-day trip to Tokyo Disney. The hotel and rooms are spacious, and it's very convenient to get to Disney with their shuttle bus service. It's also just a 2-minute walk from Shin-Urayasu Station.
Overall, the service was good. The room was spacious, and the shuttle bus to and from Disneyland was very convenient, taking about 15 minutes. The only downside was that the airport shuttle bus doesn't stop directly at the hotel, only near the Sheraton and a few other hotels in that area.
Great location. Close to station and Aeon mall and Atre shops. Free shuttle to Disneyland and Disneysea. Good sized family room. Highly recommended
Service is excellent&attitude is good
This hotel isn't far from Tokyo Disneyland and offers a shuttle bus, making it great value for money compared to other options. Value for money, especially hotels during spring are generally more expensive. Toyoko's price during spring is affordable. The free breakfast is decent.
About 10 mins walk to hotel from Ikebukuro station, not allowed to check in early, typical Japanese style hotel. Can open two 28 inches luggage still can walk, bathtub is clean!
This was my first time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and I had a pretty good experience. Although the room was simple, it felt very cozy, and they provided a full range of toiletries. 1. You can extend the check-out time until 11 AM only if you sign up for a special membership -> No explanation to foreigners, and check-out time is notified by 10 AM 2. Staff members are very polite. That's something I will always remember. Rooms get cleaned once every 4 days so you might end up with a lot of rubbish in your bins. Extremely well-located hotel, fewer than five minutes from Kanda station. Very near a lot of izakaya places. The neighbourhood is very busy on a Friday night, but the street the hotel is on is still very quiet.
