Tge hotel is absolutely fine. However the room a little dated but think there is a programme of works so rooms may be brought up to date. Eg. The room lighting is very dim so with all brown/beige walls and carpet makes for a very dim room. the toilet is way too big for the size of bathroom! If you are here because you want to be next to the diet building or the prime Minister's residence, this is the perfect hotel. This is a chain hotel, and I've stayed at their Kyoto location before. They offer self check-in, and rooms are generally cleaned every three days, though you can get fresh towels daily. It's conveniently located near several subway stations, with the Ginza station just over 200 meters away. There's also an observation deck on the top floor with some nice views.
