9.5
Tokyo, 1-12-16 Komagata, Tayto, 111-0043 Tokio, Yaponiya (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Everything was great. Just note that the breakfasts are quite unique, Japanese style.
It was right outside a train station exit. Very convenient for travelers who constantly use the train.
Close to tourist attractions, comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. They also offer luggage storage.
Excellent location, great service, and a very good breakfast.
The hotel is strategically located , nearby to places of interests and eateries. Immediately next to Metro Station, with lift. Family Mart is next door, 7-11 and AEON convenient stores are nearby.
Cosy place, very near the asakusa train station that have 2 lines. Also walkable to alot of attractions subs Tokyo sky tree, senso-ji temples and the walking streets around the temple. Recommend to stay if you are visiting Tokyo!

Tokyo, 1-2 Kioicho, Tiyoda, 102-8585 Tokio, Yaponiya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Booked directly through Marriott on points Status: Titanium I have read many amazing things about this hotel, but honestly, it fell a bit short of my expectations. The cleanliness of the hotel is not good for the price point- we had to wipe down the drawers and closets because they were so dusty. There was a small dust bunny in the shower. Otherwise, the room & view was nice and service was great...
A stay at The Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho, a Luxury Collection Hotel is an exercise in elevated luxury, offering a sophisticated sanctuary high above the bustling streets of Tokyo. From the seamless service to the thoughtfully designed spaces, it stands out as a premier choice for travelers seeking both comfort and style. • Exceptional Accommodations: The rooms are the epitome of luxury—spacious,...
Excellent location, great views. Underwhelming breakfast. Some annoying room features. Reception is on 36F. 👍The Good: - Location is near two metro stations and close by several attractions. - Concierge is great. Definitely leverage their help for reservations. - The view is wonderful. Watch the sunrise or sunset over Tokyo. - Rooms have modern features to control everything. Bathtub is huge and comfortable...
I had a wonderful stay here, and it was a big highlight of my trip to Tokyo. The location is great and near many train lines, allowing you to go to many places around the city. The staff were wonderful, allowing me to check in early and check out late. I loved the truffle scrambled eggs in the Oasis Garden breakfast buffet and having a cocktail admiring the view of Tokyo Tower at Sky Gallery Lounge...
We had an amazing stay! Our room was huge, quiet, and airy, and the staff made us feel right at home. Dinner at the hibachi was a total show, flavorful food and chef skills that wowed us. Later, the bar blew us away with some of the freshest, most creative drinks ever, made with house-made garnishes and fresh juices. Only tiny hiccup: the elevators were a bit confusing at first, but we got the hang...
Great place to stay at, just it’s a bit difficult sometimes for taxi drivers to locate the entrance.

Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo, Tokyo1 / 27

Tokyo, 1-2-6 Shimbashi, Minato (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
A beautiful hotel with amazing classic feel. The interior felt very posh and comfy. Had some tea with my friend and was surprised with their lovely ambience.
Checked in around 2 PM on arrival day, but didn't get my room key until past 4 PM! On check-out day, after lunch, I went to retrieve my luggage after 12 PM, only to find my room key didn't work. The floor attendant spent ages on the phone but couldn't help me open the door. I had to go all the way back down to the front desk and deal with that hassle for quite a while. Such a frustrating experience
Good location and services, highly recommended this hotel!
This is a very good hotel in the center of Tokyo, close to Shinbashi Station and the Shinbashi entertainment area. The hotel has full service and at a reasonable cost. This is my third year in a row staying there and I will be back next year too. The hotel team are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
Great location, directly connected to Shimbashi Station via an underground passage. The facilities are excellent, and the service quality is superb. The room was also very clean. I really liked it. It feels like it was once a truly top-notch hotel.
This hotel is super conveniently located between Shimbashi and Yurakucho, with tons of food options nearby. Ginza is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven right across the street. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and the service is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tokyo.

Tokyo, 3 Chome-4-5 Nishi, Sindzyuku, 160-0023 Tokio, Yaponiya (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is small but clean, and the location is excellent. It's a great value-for-money spot to rest after shopping in Shinjuku. Recommended!
The hotel is about a 10–12 minute walk from Shinjuku Station. With luggage, the distance feels a bit challenging, but still acceptable. We arrived quite early on the first day, and luggage storage was very convenient and efficient. However, an elderly family member wanted to fill a thermos with hot water, but there was no water dispenser in the hotel lobby. When we asked the front desk, they also informed...
The room was very clean and well-maintained. There's a convenience store downstairs, and it's super close to the station, making transport really easy. They also provide tea. The room felt quite new and had fresh air. There's an elevator, which is handy for getting up and down.
About 10-15mins walk (with luggage) from Shinjuku station, quite an ok location. Room space is enough for a solo traveller and has all the amenities that one needs.
Standard Tokyo size room. The blanket was so uncomfortable and the top blanket seems like unwashed. The location is quite far away from the train station.
Staying alone, I felt very safe, and the location was excellent. The staff were also very polite.

Tokyo, 7-27-9 Shinjuku Shinjuku-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I stayed at the Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku Station for my New Year trip to Tokyo. First, the good points: The location is great, very close to the subway, and there are Lawson and 7-Eleven convenience stores nearby, as well as plenty of restaurants. Now, for the downsides: 1. I found a dirty towel in the bathroom (see picture 2), so the hygiene is a bit questionable. 2. The staff had me check...
Front desk is very helpful and kind for luggage storage. Room is clean and tidy.
Very close to the subway, and the airport limousine bus to Shinjuku Kabukicho is also quite convenient. However, Tokyo's prices are really high, so for this price, you can't expect a room with great amenities.
The room size was just right, and it was very clean. The location is super convenient! I'll definitely choose this place again next time! There are also many self-service stores on the first floor, and plenty of convenience stores just a few steps downstairs – it's fantastic!
Gem hotel near Shinjuku! Just 20 steps away from Metro which is the best for tiring after the long days roaming around. A bit small space if you have 32” luggages (two) and two more 20” luggages like us but still manageable. Staffs are helpful, speak English and well organized on the luggage storage. I would come back and stay here again next trip in Tokyo.
This is my second time booking with this hotel company and so far my experiences have been great. Affordable hotel, conveniently located near the train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel located in shopping and dining area in Asakusa. You can easily walk to Donkie and Asakusa jinja. 👍👍👍👍
The hotel is great, just a bit small. There are plenty of restaurants around, and lots of shopping and drugstores. It's bustling with people. I'll definitely stay here again next time. They also have self-service coffee.
There are two Richmond hotels in Asakusa, and we stayed at Richmond Hotel Premier Asakusa International, so it’s important not to mix them up. The hotel charges a local accommodation tax. Guests are provided with welcome drinks as well as light snacks, which was a nice touch. After shopping at the Uniqlo downstairs, it was very convenient to go back up and enjoy afternoon tea or a drink while taking...
The location is excellent, making it super convenient to visit Senso-ji Temple and the surrounding commercial areas. As expected for hotels in central Japanese cities, the rooms are on the smaller side, so families should be prepared for that. If I visit again, I would definitely choose this hotel.
The hotel's location is undoubtedly excellent, very convenient, just a 2-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple. Downstairs, there are restaurants and a Uniqlo, which is very handy. Taking the elevator up, as soon as the doors opened, the panoramic view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was absolutely stunning, but once I got into the room, this view... well, it was a bit different. It's been a while since I've stayed at a satisfactory overseas hotel, and remm comes highly recommended. The only downside was no bathtub, but all other facilities were excellent. Breakfast was fantastic value for money. What was particularly rare and impressive was the excellent service from both the front desk and the restaurant staff.
I stayed for 2 nights.  This hotel has nearby restaurants and is located at an exit of MTR.
Great location, good food for breakfast. The room is small but that's the norm in Tokyo.
Great location, staff were alright and facilities were okay.
It was a fuss free check-in. Service was relatively prompt and polite. Room was small but functional. Location is great though with plenty of food options.

The service is great. I came here four times and I've changed my rooms twice, it's because I have sleeping problems, so if the room faces the road it will be a little noisy for me even in the 6th floor. But the hotel is really willing to help me change my room once I request. That impresses me a lot. And the location is really convenient.
Famous hotel nowadays, small room size but comfortable. We choose the hotel just between Ueno &Akihabara. Ten minutes walking to Subway station.Easy way to Ginza.Pillow was too low but toilet was well facilitated. Cons : no air conditioning in winter. Rooms-wise it's perfectly acceptable for a Japanese Hotel. And it's location is perfect. The problem we had was with breakfast - there's a gluten free speciality restaurant that I love to see become more common in Japan, even if I don't need it. However it's got the dining space for about 12 people, they cram in 24 and the entire 12 floor hotel is supposed to have breakfast here between 6am-9am. So...
My usual APA hotel closer to Ueno station was not available but I like this chain because I know what the room is like and they are always clean and quiet. Between two metro stations on the Ginza line for Shibuya and Asakusa. An easy walk from Keisei from Narita but if you have suitcases then probably a four minute taxi ride. Lots of food options and easily walkable to Ueno. No laundry onsite but a...

Super hotel. Very nice club lounge. Nice cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the evening. Great views on higher floors. Superb breakfast buffet with international specialties. Helpful staff. Walkable from Metro and train station, but shuttle available.
I've stayed here a few times and also visited others staying here, so I've been quite familiar with the property over the years. It's an excellent location for access to Haneda Airport and also Tokyo's Yamanote Line and the Shinkansen network. We booked a standard King and although the room was quite compact, it had everything you would expect at a Marriott hotel. The TV in particular is a large new...
The only disappointment was that there was no lounge on the upper floors.
The hotel room is relatively large, the breakfast is very good, the location is also good, there is a shuttle bus to Shinagawa Station
Breakfast: The salad was fresh and the rice was delicious and satisfying.
The hotel facilities are good, and the hotel has a free shuttle bus to Shinagawa Subway Station, which is very convenient. There are not many commercial shopping nearby. The hotel is right next to a beautiful park. There is also a FamilyMart convenience store inside the hotel, which is very convenient. The facilities and room size are better than other hotels in Tokyo.

Centrally located in Roppongi, with a high-end Midtown shopping mall right downstairs. This area sees fewer tourists compared to Ginza and is popular among local affluent residents, with a well-developed dining scene. The hotel itself features classic and traditional decor.
perfect location, wonderful service, but the hotel is getting a bit old now… could use a renovation.
Luxury and quite expensive hotel, large and comfortable room with a wonderful view of the city landscape; maybe you'd expect for that price a better breakfast buffet.

I thought booking a hotel in Tokyo right after cherry blossom season would be easy, but turns out there were two concerts at the Tokyo Dome that weekend! Panicked, I booked this place, and it was surprisingly good. First off, if you find the right exit, it's genuinely only 200 meters from the subway station. Plus, there are so many cute cafes and restaurants around the hotel!
Great location, right next to Tsukiji Market, just a 10-minute walk away. It's also very close to the subway, making it convenient to get to Ginza. The staff were all very friendly. The only minor issue was that the bed was a bit firm.
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Ginza, and the surrounding area is quiet. I had a very comfortable stay.
The location is fantastic, with plenty of convenience stores nearby, and it's super close to Tsukiji Market. The subway station is also just a stone's throw away. The view is amazing, and the park downstairs has lots of cherry blossoms.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Ginza-Itochime station on the yellow line and Tsukiji Market. If you enjoy city running, the back of the hotel is a great place to do it.
The biggest plus of this hotel is its fantastic location. It's incredibly close to Ginza's busiest shopping district and also conveniently near the subway, which is great for dropping off your purchases back at the hotel. Plus, there are complimentary skincare products available in the lobby.
The biggest plus for this hotel is its excellent location and reasonable price. It's close to a subway station, and there are various supermarkets downstairs with plenty of dining options. The hotel is very close to the airport. It's about a 15-minute ride on the Keikyu Line from Shinagawa, and then a 3-minute walk from the station. A crucial tip: for the morning shuttle, you absolutely need to be at the stop on the right side of the exit at least 10 minutes early. The hotel is good; I like the Apa chain. There are several other larger hotels of the same chain nearby. The rooms are small, and ours wasn't very comfortable. There was a shelf by the headboard that kept bumping your head, and the window closed in such a way that you'd bump into the corners at night. They could have just installed curtains. Overall, it's clean and everything's fine.
It was a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning.
I have stayed at APA Hotels many times, but this hotel had a hot spring on the upper floor, so I was able to relax in the hot spring. If I were to be greedy, I would have liked the bathtub to be a little larger, but in the city center, this layout is probably the best they can do. I could sense the ingenious design intent. I would definitely consider this hotel as a hotel to stay at next time.
The hotel was close to the subway exit and there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was very convenient. The large public bath was on the top floor and had a great view.
Good service staff very nice 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
When I went to Japan near Asakusa, I often stayed at APA. The rooms were small, but I got used to it. It was clean and the location was good! I think it would be good for those who are traveling once to visit.
