Tokyo, 2-10-2 Ginza, Chuo-Ku (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
Everything is perfect, except a little noise from the refrigerator😂. Great location in Ginza, near shopping area but quiet.
The room isn't huge, but the location is excellent, right in Ginza Itchome. You can walk to the shopping district in just 5 minutes. The breakfast was fantastic, really good food, definitely recommend it.
Even though the hotel is a bit old, the hygiene and overall maintenance are excellent, giving it a classic, traditional feel. The breakfast is decent; if you're staying for multiple days, it's worth trying for one morning. The staff are professional, well-mannered, and friendly. As for the location, it's absolutely unbeatable.
Choosing this hotel was the right decision. It has a great sense of history and is perfectly situated in Tokyo's Ginza district, just a few blocks from the Imperial Palace. It's super convenient for morning and evening strolls or taking the subway, and it really gives you a local feel. One thing to note, because it's an older hotel, you need to be careful when selecting room and bed types to avoid...
Hotel is well located and walkable to ginza main shopping street. There is a new laderach store near hotel too. Room is kinda small as usual, but amenities is good. Small lobby filled with luggages but the staff were all courteous. We also walked to Tokyo yaesu bus terminal within 15mins too.
Excellent location, right next to Yurakucho Station. The rooms are a bit small, which is a trade-off for the prime location, but the service and room quality are both great. If you're planning to be active around Ginza or the Yamanote Line, I'd definitely recommend it.

Tokyo, 5-3-20 Shinjuku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple times a year for the last 2-3 years. Location is great, rooms are a bit bigger than some I’ve stayed in in Japan, with a little bench in addition to the bed. Location is great, close to everything but a more peaceful street. Only tip is to ask for a non-smoking room if you don’t smoke.
The room was a bit small, but the location was very convenient. It's a good option in Tokyo.
Pleasant stay with clean rooms and attentive staff.
Easy access to transportation and nearby shops.
Would happily stay here agai
Excellent hotel. Walking distance to the train station and Shinjuku CBD. Clean room and good breakfast.Good size. Worth the price. Will book again for my next trip.
Typical Business hotel in Shinjuku. The best thing about it was the Simmons mattress. I slept amazingly well!
Hygiene: Sheets and bathrobes were changed daily. The breakfast was rich and varied. Great value for money, a good experience overall.

Tokyo, 3-4-2 Haneda Airport Ota (16 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Fantastic hotel if you have an early flight to within Japan as the hotel is located at the domestic side of Terminal 2. Highly recommended if you are traveling with ANA.
Everything is good with view of fligh
Arrived at Haneda T2 on a late flight, and after clearing customs and collecting checked luggage, it was already 11 PM. Not wanting any more hassle, Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu was the best choice. However, the signage wasn't very clear; I followed a sign and mistakenly went up to the third floor (where I accidentally discovered a 24-hour FamilyMart) before realizing that the hotel is actually straight...
The hotel lobby is on the second floor, right at the very end of the domestic departures area, which is really convenient for guests with early morning flights. For dinner, you can find plenty of restaurants on floors 2-5 of Terminal 2.
Service wasn't too good - when asked about shuttle bus schedule, th receptionist just told us to search on the internet lol
Location was a bit confusing to find in terminal 2 especially when we arrived at around 11pm and the whole terminal was closed and elevators/escalators were not operating.
Room was big and decent though.
Excellent! Very well-equipped. If I travel again, I'll definitely choose this place. It's super close, and my top pick for future trips. It's so convenient to just take the elevator up with your luggage, and you can buy things right there. So convenient, I love it!!!

This hotel exceeded expectations. It is small. It is very convenient for Tokyo Stations. There is a large shopping centre nars and shops nearby. It is close to Kyobashi underground statiin. The staff are wonderful. very helpful and courteous. The rooms are small but have everything you need. beds are firm but comfortable. We were moving around japan but coming back to this hotel for the last...
Very expensive hotel, considering the amenities is quite mediocre. But location is very good.
Room is clean but small. Hotel is about 5 minutes walk to Tokyo station.
10 minutes walk from JR Tokyo station. Narita airport bus is right beside the JR station. Room is bright and clean. Air-condition works well and it doesn't blow over my head. Free coffee is unexpected good 👍👍
Good location near to Tokyo station which takes around 5 min walk. Breakfast quality is on average only.
Very good location. Excellent service. Good breakfast.
We will definitely come back and choose this hotel again in the near future. Keep up the good work!

Tokyo, 1 Chome-30-7 Higashiikebukuro, Tosima, 170-0013 Tokio, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro East Exit. The rooms are clean and cozy, and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic with a wide variety of fresh, authentic Japanese dishes.
The room is really small, even if I requested to look for a different dimension, my 2 luggages couldn’t barely fit. But, still it was manageable. The hotel is clean, very friendly receptionist (monolingual- but really attempts to help through Ai & Google Translate). However, when I booked here at Trip.com, it required me a pre-authorization for almost the same amount as the cost of my actual booking...
Amazing location and service, staff at the front were very friendly.
Everyone complain about returning key when you go out, but it doesn't take a lot of time whether you put it in a box or returning it at the front when you come back — so no worries.
Room was very nice and clean, standart. Definitely would stay here again.
Oh it surrounded by all the convenient stores. Lawson family mart and 7-11. Good!
I've stayed here many times, and it's always my first choice when I come to Tokyo. It's incredibly friendly for anime fans, very convenient for stores like Animate, K-BOOKS, and Comic Toranoana. This time, my friend needed to send me a package, and I really appreciate that the hotel held it for me from the 9th to the 13th.
This hotel is excellent! The location is superb, right in the heart of Ikebukuro. There are plenty of vending machines and convenience stores nearby, and it's surrounded by anime and manga shops. The customer service was great, and the environment was also very pleasant. Everything about it was perfect! The room wasn't big, but it was exactly my type – small and neat. I'll definitely stay here again...

Great. Pretty good. Breakfast was also decent. It's also quite convenient, about a 7-minute walk to the metro station.
There's often a long wait for the washing machines, and the management isn't very effective. Sometimes, clothes are left in the machines long after they're done, and when I asked the staff for help, they seemed quite reluctant.
It was a really nice experience to stay in this hotel! I’m so grateful to find it before new year! I really had an amazing time here!! Really I highly recommend! I will back here all the time when I back to Tokyo!
Very good faciites🫶 delicious breakfast 🫶 little far subway station
Location wise can be abit far from station (12 minute walk), nearest is the Tozai Line. May be a hassle to get to intended attractions because a lot of train switching needed.
Room is clean and bed to nice to sleep on, staff is friendly and helpful speaking fluent English.
They offer a free simple breakfast as well if that's useful.
Although the room was a bit small, it was very clean. Toyoko Inn has been a well-established brand for many years, always located conveniently in the city center, not far from various attractions. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and they even offer free breakfast in the morning. Absolutely great value for money!

Would choose this hotel again.
The room is clean and comfortable, and the staff are kind , helpful and careful. Check-in makes people feel very relaxed. It will be a return visit to the hotel. Excellent stay and great location.
Breakfast is 24 hours available.
The hallmark of a truly great hotel is not the absence of issues, but the excellence with which they are resolved. After mentioning that the mattress was too soft, the management’s response was nothing short of extraordinary. They moved mountains to ensure my comfort, demonstrating a level of dedication and proactive service that defines world-class hospitality. This is exactly the caliber of care...
Booked two rooms for a family stay. Staff were very helpful in a comp dating us with connecting rooms and checking us in quickly. In particular, all the staff spoke English very well which made it easy for us international Travellers which is not always the case for hotels in Japan even among the international chain hotels here in Japan. A good, comfortable stay. Rooms are a little small - the premier room was tighter than the standard room, so would keep this in mind if you’ve got lots of suitcases.
Excellent and friendly service. Clean and big rooms. Very close to Namba Parks/Station.
Room was relatively spacious yet also close to Tamchi Station and Mita Station
My stay here was absolutely perfect! The hotel's ambiance is elegant and quiet, with no noise disturbances at all. The room facilities are complete and well-maintained, and the toiletries are high-quality. The staff are friendly and helpful, and housekeeping is very prompt. It's also super close to the attractions, making it incredibly convenient to get around. Definitely worth revisiting!

Tokyo, 2-chome-13-7, Shinjuku City, Sindzyuku, 160-0022 Tokio, Yaponiya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
My stay was good. The location though surrounded by bars which was one of my concerns during the night one of the cons of staying due to being a solo female traveler. But despite that it was street were well lit so it wasn’t too horrible walking back to the hotel. But I would still be mindful about the hours as I’m not someone who stays out late into the night. It’s was a good location close to lost...
Terrible night. Guests arriving at all hours of the night still wearing their sneakers, flip flops and high heals into the capsule room rolling their luggage. The flooring is polished concrete so there is no noise absorption. There is no noise policy and even if there was, this being an unmaned facility there would be no one to enforce it. Strong fluorescent lighting stays turned on all night at the...
Centrally located, convenient, and clean.
The sleep pods can be stuffy at night, but if you’re familiar with capsule hotels you would be familiar with this experience.
Location is a little far from the nearest station, so it requires a bit more walking compared to some other hotels in Shinjuku.
One thing to note is that this place may not be ideal for light sleepers. Because it is a capsule hotel, you can easily hear noises from other guests moving around, opening lockers, or packing their belongings. I personally had some difficulty sleeping due to the noise.

I love everything about this capsule!
the entire facility was clean! and well taken care off. I stayed here for one night so only had a backpack for a 2-day 1 night trip, the locker can fit my bag perfectly.
The shower rooms were clean. The have like a changing space as well in front of the shower so that mean you dont have to change in front of the lockers for everyone to see. The capsules were futuristic...
This was the first hotel I stayed at in Japan, and it really embraced Japanese style! Pros: 1. Excellent location near Shinjuku, making transportation super convenient. I almost always choose Toyoko Inn when I visit, and this one is very close to Senso-ji Temple with convenience stores all around. It's just a block's walk from Asakusabashi. On the first floor, there are vending machines, a free coffee machine, hot and cold water dispensers, an ice maker, and plenty of charging outlets. They also offer free luggage storage.
Conveniently located, if you're not in a hurry, the Toei line at Asakusabashi Station right outside is super handy for getting to both Haneda and Narita airports. I booked early, so this price was a really great deal for this time of year.
Hotel is close to Akihabara and Shinjuku. Check in was quick and front desk staff very friendly. Free coffee in the reception area the whole day.
I stayed in this hotel branch in Hakodate and can recommend it to anyone.
Clean towels and toothbrush given every day. Excellent location. Highly recommended.
Excellent hotel, very convenient for foreigners to check in.
Out of the four hotels I stayed at during my trip to Japan, this one was my favorite. The room was clean and spacious enough to open three suitcases at once. The mattress and pillows had just the right firmness. They hang fresh towels directly on the doorknob every day, which I appreciated as I prefer not to have staff enter my room. I also got lucky and ended up in a room with a tower view, so I could...

Excellent facility with clean and spacious room. Nice and quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the centre. Accessible transportation very close by. Friendly and helpful service from all staff.
The Room is ok, not too big not too small. It has Bath tube, good to have bath.
However front desk of the hotel
Is not helpful.
We have an accident and need their assistant to call the police and they refuse to do so … will not ever stay in this hotel.
+ Relatively near to Ginza and Higashi-ginza Ginza station.
+ Near to Ginza shopping….
Room is considered ok for 1 traveller but may be difficult to place 2 big luggages in the room…..
+ clean room
+ hot water
+ family mart and Starbucks just around the corner
The hotel is in a good location, I walked twenty minutes with luggage to Tokyo station, for the Narita express. There is also a limousine bus which in only 5 minutes from the hotel. tsukiji is around 15 minutes walk the location of the hotel is 10/10. Plenty of ramen shops around the hotel, a family mart, Lawson, and a huge pharmacy around the corner
I did not book this hotel with breakfast so I...

Very nice local stop for non-crowded area! walking distance to all shopping, foods and transportation.
The hotspring has limited time which you should pay attention at the beginning.
I stayed here for business. The parking was very convenient. It was close to the station, so it was only a few minutes' walk away, which I thought was very convenient.
This was my first time at a business hotel in Japan, and it was perfect for a business hotel with good value. The staff were friendly, the room was appropriately sized, and the washing machine and vending machine on the fifth floor made for a comfortable stay.
I had booked a non-smoking room and was shown to a room that was definitely a non-smoking room, but the moment I opened the door, I was hit with the smell of cigarettes, which was very unpleasant (maybe it was originally a smoking room...). I don't think it can be hidden for people who don't like the smell of cigarettes. That was the only disappointing thing.
Came here by accident, staff was nice, it was clean, you can definitely stay here. Room is a bit small like everywhere around Tokyo
This hotel offers great value for money for business trips to Kawaguchi. There's also a hot spring on the first floor that you can use during specified hours. The space is quite limited — with three suitcases there’s barely room to open them. The AI at the reception desk also lacks sufficient intelligence to answer guests’ questions effectively.
The hotel was closed to a subway station and surround area. There's a lot of restaurants and shops. The room was clean the complementary breakfast and tea time and happy hours are very nice. Also the convenience of the shuttle service to Disney part. The only thing we had about that is first come first serve for the ride to the park.
1. The hotel is located in Nishi-Kasai. After taking the airport bus to Kasai, it's a 15-minute walk to the hotel.
2. There's free self-service luggage storage available.

The hotel's shuttle bus is fantastic. After a long day at Disney, the last thing you want to do is brave the subway.
I loved the themes and the amenities. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in the area. The LG STYLER, the smart pack, the luggage storage, the automation, the pajamas, slippers, and breakfast were awesome. The shuttle service from Tokyo Disney was a lifesaver. The location is great, right near Kyobashi Station. Just be aware that check-out is at 11 am, and there's a charge if you stay later.
Extremely convenient location, very close to Tokyo JR Station. The hotel is clean and there are many shops and dining options nearby. It's within walking distance to the Bank of Japan for visits, and you can also pop into the Currency Museum on the way.
The location is fantastic, even better than I expected for getting to Ginza or catching trains from Tokyo Station to other cities. Plus, it offers great value for money and consistent quality.
The location is super convenient, right by the Ginza Line entrance. It's only a 5-8 minute walk to the JR station, and there's a shopping area with plenty of food options right across the street. Ginza is also just a short walk away. It's a bit of a shame the hotel doesn't have a hot spring. There's a 7-Eleven and a Komeda's Coffee downstairs, which is handy.
The surroundings are awesome because it's around the office area. I felt so comfy inside and outside hotel.

The room is spacious enough, and the breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's sufficient to fill you up. The price is entirely due to the excellent location. The room, although small, was well equipped, even had a table and two soft mini-sofas. The amenities are quite new, without signs of wear and tear. The receptionists were very welcoming and polite. The breakfast was excellent, with good variety and quality of dishes (especially, the chicken and meat).
The location deserves a special mention: a nice neighborhood close...
The hotel is conveniently located a 5-minute walk across the street from Seibu Department Store. It's very close to the shopping district, and even on public holidays when malls are closed, there are still plenty of great restaurants to choose from.
I usually stay here whenever I go to Ikebukuro. It's not too far from the station, about a ten-minute straight walk from the exit on a main road, not a small alley, so it's very easy to navigate. There's a Family Mart downstairs, and it's close to Sunshine City and Animate, making it perfect for shopping. The price is also quite reasonable. Recommended!
The service is really nice we got corner room which have more space for luggage as we stay for 7 nights. Mate don't clean up the room everyday, they just come in to change the towel and clear the trash, location is super close to ikebukuro shopping district
I really liked this hotel. In all honesty, it’s a great area, very close to the station and overall the staff and the amenities are all I could ever need.
The room was very small, I could manage because I was out a lot, but there was barely space to open my luggage so that I could organise my stuff. Think about this before choosing your room type.
The window didn’t fully open (for security, I suppose...
