Kyushu, Fukuoka, 2-7 Reisen, Hakata-ku 🧭 Map
The hotel is super convenient.
Great stay and great location to access to anywhere
The room met my expectations, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The breakfast quality was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. The hotel design is beautiful, and the common areas are large. You can self-serve toiletries near the front desk, and the staff are very friendly. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Fukuoka!
I've been to Fukuoka so many times, but I've never stayed at a Daiwa Roynet Hotel before. This time, I opted for the Reizen branch, which seemed to be in better condition, mainly because of its proximity to the Reizen Park behind it.
The internal facilities were spacious and up to standard, as expected. The area downstairs is a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The Gion bus stop is right outside...
Overall - Exceptional value and surprising perks.
🏨 Stunning Room Highlights
1. The Ultimate Savior – In-Room Massage Chair: This is an absolute "game-changer"! After a full day of exploring Fukuoka, being able to come back and enjoy a massage immediately was a lifesaver, cutting the fatigue in half. This amenity completely elevated the stay.
2. Thoughtful Amenities Strategy: The room provided...
The room was very spacious and comfortable. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street and a Family Mart next to the hotel. From the window, you can see a cemetery. Turn right out of the hotel and walk about 50 meters to find the Daedongwon BBQ restaurant. There are lots of dining options nearby! The subway station is less than a 3-minute walk away, Canal City is an 8-10 minute walk, and Don Quijote...

Kyushu, Oita, 1-14 Kaname machi 🧭 Map
Super close to Oita Station! There's a hot spring on the top floor, but it gets very crowded because even non-guests can buy tickets to use it. There's also a garden and a shrine on the rooftop.
As a solo traveler, I found the customer service staff extremely friendly and attentive. They truly went above and beyond. It is also very suitable for families of all sizes. If I ever have the chance to visit Oita again in my lifetime, this would definitely be my first choice.
Extremely convenient for getting around and shopping, with a shopping street, many izakayas, and karaoke right across the road. The rooftop onsen is absolutely fantastic, offering distant views of Beppu Bay. There's also a cafe run by an old gentleman in the shopping street, and their breakfast is delicious 😋
I think this is one of the better, if not, the best JR hotel i stayed at in the last couple of years... i usually will stay at JR hotels in cities that they have a hotel at. This JR Oita blossoms has all the attributes of a perfect hotel... very good hygiene, not a speck of dust or dirt, wonderful service as they know my preferences plus it comes with a wonderful rooftop open air bath area with a...
The location is absolutely fantastic, right at Oita Station. The onsen (hot spring bath) is stunning, offering panoramic city views. We visited for the fireworks festival, and the venue was just a short walk away. The shopping street in front of the station is extensive, bustling with numerous eateries and shops. The value for money is outstanding. We'll definitely choose this place in Oita again as...
We stayed in room 1812 for a night. The room was bigger than the standard Japanese hotel rooms and the view was breathtaking. The bath house is a must try for all travellers especially the outdoor/rooftop bath. Robes are provided and allowed to be worn in the outdoor bath only. Basic amenities are provided at the lobby. There is a department store next to the hotel and a supermarket right at the train...

Though the hotel is dated, the rooms are big by Japanese standard. Big car park with free parking behind it. Supermarket, drug store and Daiso are just around the corner.
Decent location walkable from train station.
Decent location walkable from train station.
place is abit far from the hotel but still a good stay. room is big
This hotel offers great value for money. The lobby is quite luxurious, and the breakfast spread is plentiful. From the room, you can enjoy a beautiful city view. The hotel seems to host a lot of weddings, but it's a bit far from the commercial district, though there's a bus stop right outside.
This hotel is a bit far from JR Oita Station, and it can be tiring to walk back and forth if you're using it as a transfer point between Beppu and Yufuin.
It's an older hotel that's been renovated, but the furniture is still old, and the bedding comfort is just average; the duvet was too thick. The room size is quite large for Japan. We specifically booked a room with a sofa bed for our child, but...

Great location close to the station.
Room was smaller than expected with lights that were too bright.
Bathroom was super dated with one of those fans that doesn't really work. Amenities were ok, you have to take them from the lobby and they don't offer moisturizer.
Lobby is nice and spacious, staff were ok but not super friendly.
Location was great, just a short walk from Kumamoto station and shopping malls.
Not a very new hotel so some of the services are still old school style, like no self-serve laundry.
Service staff were wonderful! I brought my luggages down late a night to arrange for delivery service. And I just had to provide the details and they took care of everything, I just had to make payment the next day before...
Amazing stay at the hotel. Highly recommend.
Room was spacious, clean and nicely renovated. Excellent and super convenient location - near the mall with plenty of food choices, public transport located just outside the hotel that brings you to some of the tourist attractions. If you are driving like us, the carpark is located just directly behind the hotel.

Lobby was really nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. Only downside is how far it is from the main areas of Kumamoto. However, tram station is right outside.
Parking was very easy to find.
Everything was great! The hotel is very near the station, making it super convenient. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly, and the facilities were excellent. Overall, a very satisfying stay — would definitely come back!

Very relaxing, especially at night. Perfect if you want a calm and stress-free stay. Close to tourist spots, restaurants, and easy transportation access. Highly recommended for a relaxing and stylish stay in Nagasaki!
If you’re planning a cruise trip to Gunkanjima (Hashima Island), this hotel is an extremely convenient choice.
Good location and quiet and comfortable rooms . Very nice bedding and good mattress .
No communal spaces in the hotel other than the lobby . No living room .
No laundry service at the weekend .
No English speaking staff and google translate didn’t seem to work for them which meant I had a lot of frustration in trying to find out some information .
If I spoke Japanese it would be a lot easier
We had a great stay! Friendly and attentive staff. Would recommend anytime!
Places of interest easily accessible by tram as there is a tram station near the hotel. Staff are super helpful.
Beautiful and easy experience. Staff were very, very kind!

The restaurant on the 2nd floor is the star of this hotel. Greatfood and service. For the hotel, the room was large enough and clean. However, the in room had one bottle of water. When I called for more like cola, I was told to use the vending machines. No room service, not even a hint of support from the staff. You should buy the breakfast because the lounge at the airport was the worst in all...
Very nice with very well-trained staffs. I decided to stay one more night during my first day here because of the professional staffs a d the good facility. Everywhere is very clean and water pressure and temperature control at bathroom are very nice. Oh, pajama seemed not pressed and seemed used. Maybe it is on purpose so that guests can wear it with soft feeling though I was wondering.
Breakfast...
The hotel is within few minutes away from Hakata Station with decent size room for Japanese standard. Breakfast was pretty good as they have both Japanese as well as Western options. The only issue is that the hotel staffs don't really speak English.
• Not far from Hakata station - 300M from East Gate 5 of the station
• New and good facilities
• Good breakfast - half western, half Japanese
• The only weakness is dry air in the room. The room had a humidifier. But it was no useful to breathe.
Convenient location opposite Hakata train station. Larger rooms than normal for Japan. Clean and tidy.
The location is great. The room we stayed in was a little run down. We were going to stay the red e again at the end of the trip but decided to stay somewhere else because we weren't thrilled about our stay there.

A wonderful location and delicious breakfast. The hotel's indoor wear and bags were so cute I wanted to take them home with me. The beach walk and the view from the pool in the front yard were amazing! I also had a wonderful time gazing up at the starry sky while swaying in a hammock. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time.
The hotel has friendly staff and beautiful environment. The outdoor swimming pool offers a beautiful view of blue sky and white clouds. The room is very clean and the breakfast has a variety of choices and is delicious. It is highly recommended!
The hotel has a sea view across the street, and I found it fascinating how the pool seemed to be connected to the ocean. Dinner included a barbecue and a formal course meal. Since the barbecue was fully booked, I opted for the course meal, which was fantastic! Breakfast was also delicious, and the surrounding area was well-maintained, making it a great place to take pictures. I wanted to see the stars...
The waiters are very friendly, the environment is very clean, the view to the sea is unbeatable and worth the money, and the hotel has a lot of breakfast options!

It was okay, pretty standard. The hotel management program is worth mentioning, and the location is excellent.
Really comfortable hotel with 3 private onsen room to choose from. Buffet breakfast is simple but delicious.
Extremely good onsen resort. Excellent location with magnificent view.
Room is clean and spacious with private onsen tub.
Dinner and breakfast are also of great value. Free ramen for supper.
Public onsen is great.
Staff are all very welcoming and friendly.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Stunning view! A little old building but with all amenities and services needed for a relaxing holiday!
Good breakfast.
I chose this accommodation to see the sunset.
Since it's on the 7th floor, the ocean views are clear and far away, and the room is quite spacious compared to other Japanese hotels, so I had no problems staying there for three days.

Cleanliness: Quiet and tidy.
Environment: Very quiet surroundings, a short walk to the JR station. If you're a fan of anime and manga, you can check out Aruaru City – there are tons of shops!
Service: The front desk staff were very warm and attentive.
Firstly, I’d like to say the the rooms look beautiful and vintage but too old. There was mould in the bathroom. The room is lack of charging sockets. The room is extremely small and the bad is vey small too as well.
The garden is beautiful.
The hotel is also conveniently located in Kokura, making it easy to explore nearby spots. The hotel has a classic Japanese-style atmosphere with a beautiful traditional garden, koi pond, and stone pathways that instantly give you a calm, peaceful feeling
Good location, nice garden, clean rooms, self-service amenities at the lobby, varied breakfast with many local specialities.
Pretty small room but great hotel
Location of the hotel is good, parking in the surrounding area is very convenient! Bathroom design is hilarious! Curtain of the bathing tub is good and several hanging hooks were broken! A great hotel for a relaxing family vacation. It's in a clean, quiet location. The sand baths are especially worth a mention – something unusual and fun! The staff is polite and welcoming. I want to come back again and again!
Overall, I was satisfied. However, the dinner was a little disappointing for the lowest grade. I was able to experience the sand bath regardless of the weather, which was a great experience.
This is a beachfront resort where you can experience a sand bath right inside the hotel – quite a unique experience. Just outside, you can take a stroll along the sandy beach, and the scenery is beautiful.
The food was delicious and the private bath was great!
You could see the stars beautifully. I'd love to use it again!
The hotel boasts a superb location, with most rooms offering beautiful sea views. The staff provided outstanding service and were proficient in both Japanese and English. Both breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended!
Perfect value for money! Be sure to book a Japanese-style room to truly experience the authentic hot spring ryokan atmosphere. Beyond the standard onsen baths, they also offer hot sand baths. Delicious breakfasts are served (with a large buffet), and the luxurious kaiseki dinners are also complemented by a buffet. We would gladly return to this hotel.
