Kyushu, Fukuoka, 1-9-18 Hakataeki-Minami, Hakata-ku 🧭 Map
It was good and the service was good
I always stay here when I come on business.
The rooms are spacious and relaxing, so I can relax and unwind.
The amenities and drinks are also great.
The breakfast food is delicious!
The ambiance is charming, and the location is close to Hakata Station. The staff are excellent—polite and helpful. There's free parking with multiple entries, making it perfect for trips based in Fukuoka.
I had a dinner party there that night, so I decided to stay overnight. The room was very relaxing, and I was able to enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna. I felt like I was at a resort for a while, and I was sad to leave the room. The breakfast was also delicious. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.
Hip hotel, hip food, room, balcony, all-inclusive food~
And a hotel with a 2:00 PM check-out time ♥️❤️🩷
Stayed here twice. Young, casual, yet professional staff!
The second time, there were no rooms at this hotel, so I
stayed at the Tenjin One Building One Fukuoka Hotel for two nights (same chain hotel).
Here we go~~
For me, except for the pillow, this place was better than the new One Hotel!!
Exit...
A hotel with an uncommon concept.
However, the equipment isn't very smooth.
The staff doesn't speak English.

Love the private onsen, and private dinner and breakfast. Good service too.
Very nice, comfortable, and quiet accommodation.
I was a bit nervous after booking this hotel, but it turned out to be an excellent choice!
The hotel is a traditional Japanese courtyard building with six rooms. It's about a 15-minute taxi ride from Beppu JR station. From the moment we entered the courtyard, we received a very warm welcome. Since we booked a room on the second floor, the staff kindly carried all our luggage to our room during check...
This was my first ryokan experience, and it was absolutely fantastic. The friendly staff, along with the delicious dinner and breakfast, left a lasting impression. I would love to come back and stay here again.
A wonderful family-run onsen ryokan with excellent service. One of the staff members spoke excellent English, which made communication very smooth. The food was also delicious. They have three private onsen baths – two semi-outdoor and one indoor – all incredibly comfortable and relaxing.
The hotel is conveniently located and easy to reach. The waiters are attentive and attentive. The food is carefully prepared and tastes good.
It was my first time to experience a private hot spring bath, and the hot spring water didn’t have a strong sulfur smell.
The whole experience was very satisfying

My parents loved it.
I'd love to go again if I get the chance.
The staff are incredibly friendly.
The environment was great, the food was delicious, and everything was perfect. It was also a great way to enjoy the outdoor family hot springs with your partner or spouse. If the weather is nice in the evening, you can even see the stars.
The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. It's the best place for a quiet rest.
Nice Onsen hotel. Friendly and helpful staffs , nice foods.
The scenery in the mountains is unique!
The ryokan is not up to the expectation as what google review or trip.com ratings. Suite is quite old and smelly. Onsen area have cob webs. The family onsen is not like ig picture standard with lots of insects and a gecko. Food nevertheless is ok.

Kyushu, Minamioguni, Kurokawa Onsen, Minamioguni-machi, Aso-gun 🧭 Map
A round trip from Tenjin by bus costs 8000 yen and takes three hours! Remember to book your tickets in advance as there aren't many services. The old street in Kurokawa Onsen is very quaint and full of character! Most of the onsen ryokans are built along the creek. The ryokans are simple and clean! In the open-air onsen, you can listen to the gentle flow of the stream and feel that sense of tranquility...
The place is vey old and vintage. The baths look awful because of iron in the water and thet require renovation. Unfortunately we didn’t like our dinner as it was too specific. It is not the first kaiseki dinner for us but it was not the tastiest one.
I loved our stay at Ryokan Youmotosou. Everything was great room, food, onsen. Staff was very helpful. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
Staffs are very polite and the meals are great.
Very good place, I want to repeat next year.
I really liked the hot springs with high iron content in this ryokan: I had sore throat for about 3 weeks before the journey, but it recovered just after the first bath. We also liked that family baths are for free if they are vacant (in the evening there wasn't any problem). The staff is attentive, thank you very much. The food was delicious, and there was more than enough for a man. However, we would...

It's a lovely hotel so everything was great, but
more than anything, I was really comforted by the warmth of the staff.
I'd love to visit again!
Thank you very much.
This is my second time staying at Oriental Hills.
I chose Oriental Hills again because my last stay was so wonderful. I had a truly wonderful time again, and the hospitality of the staff in particular was as excellent as ever. My partner was also very happy, and it was a truly relaxing and happy time.
The only thing that bothered me was that when I used the shower in the bathroom, something like...
It was very good. I'm looking forward to the next time.
This was my first time staying here. The hospitality was excellent, and the private pool in my room is said to be one of the largest in Japan, so I was able to relax and unwind. However, because it was the rainy season, there were a horde of winged ants... The path to dinner was covered in ants, and when I returned to my room after dinner, I was surprised to see so many dead ants floating in the private...
Not up to the expectation, especially not worth the price ive paid for. Also, if you hate bugs, dont go.
Only accepting 14 groups of guests a day, very quality experience and good service, however the hotel room overall is a bit old. The location of the hotel is nearly perfect, facing the sunrise!

Very nice! The staffs are helpful!
The overall experience is good! Meal are perfect and probably the best I ever tried. Staff are polite and greet with smile. However outdoor hot spring is a bit dirty, many bugs floating on the water.
The hotel is relatively new, the service is very good and the food is also good.
The only downside is that the air conditioning in the room is not very good...
Nice food. Great location near airport!
The hotel is clean and the staff service is very good.
The garden environment is very beautiful, and each room is surrounded by a garden. It feels like there are no more than 10 rooms. The room I stayed in has a private hot spring with a wall, and you can't see inside from the outside. It's very comfortable to soak in the private hot spring. The hotel is large but old. Reviews mentioned guests could use the heating for free during certain periods, but that wasn't the case; it was charged for all times! The breakfast was plentiful! The service was... well, let's just say it was a bit lacking.
The kaiseki was delicious, and I came with my mom.
She praised the staff for being incredibly friendly.
There were outdoor and indoor baths, so we chose whichever.
The accommodations were clean and nice.
The most unforgettable moment of my trip to Yufuin was my stay at Oyado Kaikatei Ryokan.
From the moment I checked in, the staff's bright smiles and meticulous attention to detail truly impressed me. Each member of staff genuinely welcomed me, making me feel as if I was visiting family I'd known for years.

Wonderful hotel.
We stayed there two nights.
It’s very simple to find it
Traditional Japanese style dinner was delicious
Private bathroom was very good
In the hotel very clean, nice and quiet
We absolutely love it
The service is first-class. Although the environment is old, it is well maintained. There are indoor and outdoor private baths, which are very comfortable. As for the two meals, the dinner is eight points overall and tastes very good. The breakfast is completely unacceptable and there is no way to eat it.
I brought my mother.
There are reviews saying that the facilities are old,
but I liked it :)
The staff is friendly, the hot spring temperature is just right,
and it's clean.
Next time, I want to come back with my mother and sister's family.

This resort is amazing! From the unique architecture to their services are absolutely fantastic. We stayed on the 4th floor which was looking onto the beautiful townscape and coastline of Beppu. Extremely beautiful hotel with stunning views of Beppu. The design is sleek and modern, with unique artworks placed throughout the property. Our room had a private onsen bath overlooking the city—absolutely gorgeous—and the balcony was just as stunning.

Overall, the standard is incredibly high! It's perfect for a relaxing getaway. The public bath facing the sea 🌊 is an absolute must-try. You can give the Japanese set dinner a try; don't set your expectations for the taste too high, but the ambiance is quite nice.

This was a last-minute trip for us as couples, and it's been a while since we last stayed here.
We were able to relax in a quiet environment.
We took a cable car to Tenku no Yu, where we enjoyed our open-air bath with a spectacular view.

We were looking for a more traditional ryokan away from it all. This place hit the spot. We really enjoyed the peacefulness and seclusion. The trip to it - rental car - was a worthwhile trek! The food was fabulous and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. There were a variety of onsen. We came away with a very relaxing and satisfied feeling!
I was drawn to the private observation bath and cable car. I enjoyed a long soak in the slightly warm hot spring while admiring the magnificent view from high up! It was fantastic.

I went to check out the in-room hot spring because it looked spacious.
The water was a little lukewarm, so it might not be suitable for those who prefer very hot water. The view from the open-air bath with a view was fantastic.

The service here is excellent. It's a quiet, Japanese-style inn. The staff are very polite, but perhaps lack experience with foreign guests, requiring a translation machine. Regarding the food, since there were seven of us, we had to share half hot pot and half barbecue. It would have been better if both were provided. They offer horse meat sashimi, which is quite unique. Overall, it's very good value...

We visited Jusandi for the first time in five years - we would not have returned to Jusandi if not for the chance to experience Chef Hirose's cooking one last time before his departure from Jusandi (he is reaching mandatory retirement age, and will be leaving the property in March 2026.) The environment is very beautiful. There is a little black cat basking in the sun every morning in the small garden. The kitchen is well equipped. Our family bought local fresh ingredients from a nearby supermarket and ate hot pot directly in the B&B.

The hotel is renovated and the building itself is old, but it is very clean. The staff were all smiling and friendly. I also appreciated the complimentary rice balls at breakfast. The bus terminal and Ishigaki Port Terminal are also nearby, making it convenient. There doesn't appear to be a parking lot, so those with rental cars may need to check.
I've stayed here several times and really like it.
The rice balls for breakfast are delicious. The staff are very friendly.
It's also close to the remote island terminal and the bus terminal. It's also convenient for eating and drinking. I'm very satisfied with everything.
Location for trips to island is perfect. Breakfast sushi is wonderful which I like most. The scenery on the roof is very good. Only the room is small and no free car parking. Check in at 3pm and check out at 10am.
