Highly recommend this resort! Got so much more than expected upon arrival, such as plenty of toiletries, slippers, and robes

The southwest coast of Miyako Island is affected by the Kuroshio Current and monsoons, making it prone to washing upboard trash from overseas during winter to spring

The hotel said they have staff and volunteers to clean it up, but the trash collection speed might not be able to keep up with the rate at which it washes ashore 😂

The unique long beach is also nice, but there's a lot of plastic trash on it. I looked it up and found it's related to its geographical location

However, the seawater is still very clean, and the photos are beautiful. Walking outside the hotel is almost impossible; you might consider renting a car or taking a taxi

It's old, but it has a beach and a pool, and it's also conveniently located near Kouri Island, Jangria, and the Churaumi Aquarium

The hotel is located right on the beach, within easy walking distance of the sea. While the hotel is quite old, the rooms are large and clean. There's a designated parking area, which is great

The hotel's scenery is so beautiful that you don't want to leave. Unfortunately, the hotel's floor is carpeted and has a very strong musty smell

I even bought a mildew remover and sterilized the room before I could sleep well

ONSEN review: entrance ¥540, shampoos provided, you need to bring your own towel. Operating hours 12:00-15:00, there is parking. Pay at the reception where you can receive your onsen stamp

Free sake is available in the lobby which is always a plus for me. The various public onsen pools looks inviting, but we didn't get to try them due to their "no tattoo" policies

The room condition, kaiseki, and breakfast were all comfortable and enjoyable!! The shuttle bus seems to be assigned once an hour and I think you need to make a reservation in advance! I think it would be better if there were a little more Korean guidance!

My friends and I are very satisfied with this hotel. We were a little worried at first because the room facilities still maintain the old style (key-operated doors, traditional old-style tatami mats and paper doors)

The hotel's lobby and public spaces have all been transformed into a modern style, and not only free drinks are provided (there are even draft beers for you to drink). I personally like and recommend this hotel

Great amenities with friendly and helpful staff. Hotel room is superbly equipped for travellers with IT equipment as their single room have various types of chargers without having the need to have travel charger adapter

The staff here is great and super friendly. The bed is also great and they have extra pillows available to grab and use at the front office you want one. In the morning the breakfast was quite nice.

For consecutive nights, it was very helpful that the beds were not made and bottled water was provided. It would have been even better if there had been fruit for breakfast

We arrived at Okinawa Airport at 2 PM and asked the local ground staff, who informed us there was a bus at 5 PM. So, my nearly 80-year-old mother and I decided to wait a few hours

I stayed here when I was cycling a round Kyushu and although this place was slightly more expensive than what I wanted but it was worth it. The room was traditional Japanese and with plenty of space to relax

It was located further out of the Ibusuki hot spring area than I thought, but if you time it right, it was a 5-minute bus ride or taxi ride from the station, so it wasn't too inconvenient

Our best experience in Japan so far! Maybe it was expensive, but it was so worth it for the private onsen alone. There were inside and outside pools on our room's terrace. The atmosphere was so calming and relaxing

We stayed in a beautiful Japanese-style room with futons (very comfortable!) and had two private onsens: one indoor and one open-air. The outdoor bath felt peaceful and secluded, surrounded by trees and bamboo sticks

We have a great time at this amazing ryokan. Their breakfast and dinner are delicious. We parked our car at the ryokan and it’s only walking distance to one of the sightseeing spot. It is a very convenient location

This time, we chose Beppu, known for its natural hot springs—and it was the perfect decision! This Ryokan gave us one of the best experiences of our lives. Everything exceeded our expectations

Honestly, it might have been the best shrimp sashimi (Ebi) and steak I've ever had! Another great thing is that you can book online, which is rare for traditional Ryokans with private onsens

And even with the language barrier, communication was smooth thanks to Sato-san who handled our reservation. Overall, it was an unforgettable and truly relaxing experience

The room facilities are a bit old, but you can use the rooftop pool at the neighboring hotel which is part of the same chain. Overall, it's decent value for money.

No on site car park and have to use a nearby car park which is 600 yen per entry. The don’t clean the room daily but can change your towel if you want

However, transportation in Miyazaki is quite inconvenient; you need to book a taxi in advance to get back to the station from the hotel, as it's hard to hail one from the street

The room was a bit small, couldn't fit two 26-inch suitcases. Also, the desk was quite old and there was only one stool, which made it inconvenient for two girls to do their makeup. The hotel also had a slight odor.

After not being avle to get a taxi the Vice Manager of the hotel drove me in his personal vehicle and waited 45 minutes when the Dr came out. The hotel was also very clean and food was always incredible

The room cleaning service and other programs held daily by the hotel itself, such as yoga, bath salt making, and sunset delight (champagne and cocktails provided), are attractive points that make you not bored if you have to stay at the hotel in bad weather! The breakfast was so delicious and the view was so great that I definitely plan to visit again if I go to Miyako again

The service was impeccable; an hour before heading to the airport, I realized I'd left my phone in a taxi, and the hotel manager immediately checked the security footage and contacted the driver to return it (I even gave the driver a thank-you fee)
