Good experience, they have a good Izakaya on the ground food with good price. Be aware that is located in a neighbourhood with a lot of adult entertainment houses. Staff are very kind, and things are clean.

This hotel offers good value for money and a great location – it's lively but quiet, and not far from Kokusai Dori. The service is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable, tidy, and clean

Please note that it is a different hotel from Hotel Rococo Matsuyama, so be sure to check the address carefully when visiting. I stayed in an executive room, and the room was fairly clean

I especially liked the breakfast, which was Japanese home-style cuisine. It is also close to Kokusai Street, and there are many convenience stores nearby

If you're a fan of anime and manga, you can check out Aruaru City – there are tons of shops! Service: The front desk staff were very warm and attentive

Still keep maintaining nice garden dispite located in the middle of the city.

The hotel is mid mountain and we parked out car in the hotel garage for 1000jpy per night (it's not free desu). Staff are super helpful and the hotel are clean! Big bathroom and big rooms. Love it!

It’s located up a hilly slope, and need to drive to reach there. There’s no food nearby, but the hotel provides shuttle bus to Nagasaki station and back. Rooms are clean and the staff are friendly

the only thing I could complain about is the unstable wifi. not a big issue as long as you got mobile data

七回に宿泊。川側ではない景色が見える部屋で、ベッドはセミダブルだった。設備は、空気清浄機、冷蔵庫、電気ケトル、テレビ。冷蔵庫の中の果物と水は有料なので、気をつけて笑。小倉駅と西小倉駅のちょうど中間あたりの立地で、各駅から徒歩10分ちょっと。勝山公園に近いので、その公園で行われるイベントに参加する際は、とても良い場所。ホテル自体も綺麗で、スタッフの対応もかなり良し。荷物が多くなかったのに、キチンと部屋まで運んで頂き、設備紹介もきちんとしてくれてかなり気分良く過ごせた。結婚式などの会場にもなるようで、この快適さは納得だった。朝食やランチ、ディナーなどのコースもあり、次来たときは是非利用したいと思った。あと、チェックアウト時間が12時までだったのが助かった。

Room is large enough, breakfast is tasty

You can reach the hotel directly through the overpass from Kokura Station without having to walk on the road outside, which is very convenient. The scenery outside the hotel room window is also very good

Along the road there is the area surrounding Galaxy Railway 999, so you can take a stroll and take a look! I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and the mattress was ready as soon as I entered

This is a beautiful hotel! I would love to stay here, except I have to stay near Kokura Station. There's also a large park nearby where you can take a walk, and the location is great.

It's very convenient for getting around; you can take bus 68 to Hakata, walk 12 minutes to a large supermarket, and Tenjin is also within walking distance. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit

This is a fantastic hotel right by the canal. The hotel itself has a unique and vibrant design with strong color contrasts. Our 35-square-meter room was spacious and comfortable

All the staff genuinely cared about our stay. The full board for four days was great, and the snacks were delicious. The complimentary chocolates were from a famous brand, and the drip coffee in the room was excellent

The meal options do change; starting this year, you can order à la carte for lunch, but dinner and late-night snacks have become very simple, and you might not feel completely full

However, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff are mostly Nepalese or Indian, making communication very easy. This is also one of the few hotels in Japan where you can check out at 12 PM

It’s a slower pace of life on Taketomi - that’s not a problem, and was exactly what we needed at the end of our trip - but there’s enough going on at the hotel and with the daily activities for you to be able to go exploring and still feel calm and relaxed

Hoshinoya Taketomi Island is truly a hidden gem, perfect for finding peace and completely unwinding. The environment is incredibly natural and the service is excellent; anything you need is promptly brought to your room

Located in a quiet area in the south of Taketomi about 25 minutes walk from the village. Large spacious Japanese cabin. Massive swimming pool with 24 hours access. The main issue was damp/condensation

We also enjoyed hiring bikes to explore the island, swimming in the pool and sampling the local Awamori cocktails in the lounge. Once it was dark, you could gaze up at the stars and see the Milky Way

It’s a shame that the closest beach to Hoshinoya gets a lot of plastic washed ashore on the water currents and the tides - if the hotel could work with the local authorities to clean that up (despite not being caused by the hotel) that would help preserve the island’s nature and habitat

Hoshinoya Taketomi has a welcoming feel, with well-appointed and spacious accommodation in a village style that enables you to feel part of the hotel community but whilst giving you the space from other guests to enjoy the calmness and serenity of the island and the Hoshnoya property

Very friendly and helpful staff, room service was daily and had an eco option for longer stays. I had a room for one person, it was just big enough to not feel too cramped

Not many other options within a 10-15 min drive though. The whole place gave me a Spirited Away vibe which could be good or bad depending. If somebody came in and renovated it, it could be super nice

This resort needs more maintenance if they want to maintain high quality level, It’s a resort with family for short vacation, Room size and swimming pool are pretty large, I believe is good to be here in summer time

Swimming pool needs to be clean

This is the best hotel on the main island of Okinawa. It is very close to Hoshino Cafe. Each room has its own private swimming pool. The breakfast is very rich, but the lunch and dinner are a bit monotonous

Best for couples in Okinawa, this pool villa style hotel is too rare on the island. Restaurant serves superb cuisine, but service must be improved if it is intended to be a fine dining experience.

Only in-house guests are allowed to enter (if friends come to the hotel to dine together, the hotel does not allow it), there are fewer restaurant options (only BBQ and French options for dinner), and the hotel has no private beach (there is also a beach next to it that you can bring your own equipment for snorkeling)

One of the few "villa" options on the island of Okinawa. High standards of service even by Japanese standards---with an attentive and quick butler service. Delicious food and villa is great for a quiet vacation.

If you can speak a little bit more Japanese, you will easily get 11 out of 10 for your own experience. Super friendly staffs and modern deco. I think we will recommend this resort to anyone going to the Okinawa

It is not easy to take a taxi at night. If you go out, the convenience store hotel will pick you up for free. In addition, knowing a lot, it is easy to be woken up at 5 o'clock in the morning

The best location! convenient to go around! the room is great love their pillow the most. However, there are two wings side the new renovate one (river wing) and another wing side (station wing) is the old one

we had 2 bed so both of us got free ice cream ! they also sell Okinawa Limited coke at vending machine. it really hard to find Overall, We had such a great time and we definitely come back again

When they said near to the train station, I didn’t imagine it would be THAT near. There’s a ton of convenience stores 5 minutes walk away too. Room was spacious!

The hotel is right beside the monorail 🚝 and near lots of bus 🚌 stops. Perfect location for exploring Okinawa. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby

A modern hotel resort situated right at the top of a hill, as reflected in the its name. We were greeted warmly with a welcome cup of hot tea, warm hand towels and really good chocolates

The room is clean and of a comfortable size with birds occasionally flying and chirping about in the trees outside the windows, against the backdrop of the Fukuoka City

Very comfortable stay, highly recommended. The tatami Japanese-style room was lovely, the sunset view was amazing, and the room was huge.

I chose this hotel because parking was free, the breakfast was a buffet, and the room rate was cheap. It's quiet because it's close to the airport and away from Kokusai Street

It may be good for travelers who travel by rental car. There are 5 parking spaces at the entrance, and compact cars will be directed to the hotel's multi-storey car park

Please note that the room key is key type and does not lock automatically. It seems like the system is to leave the key at the front desk when you go out

There is a supermarket directly opposite the hotel, which is very convenient. Now, for breakfast, I was very satisfied with rice, bread, and Okinawa soba. Especially the bitter gourd juice was very delicious

Excellent service with a full range of toiletries and skincare products. The healthy filtered sparkling water is said to have anti-inflammatory properties. Breakfast was healthy too.

The location is perfect where it just abt 5min walk from the Kokura station. It is also located near to the Kokura castle and its riverwalk. There is also alot of restaurant nearby for dinner at the Kokura street

A beautiful hotel with large rooms and good service, the staff are happy to help wherever they can. A bus stop and a tram are nearby. A large mall is also within walking distance.

Neutral: There was a "2nd door" leading out the street, when you exited near the elevators (which I did, nearly every time); in between those two doors, you could look up and see sky. It was a bit ridiculous, every time

Positives: I hardly saw anyone but cleaning staff, which is a plus (for me). The bed was pretty darn comfortable. The electric outlet placement was "convenient enough. " Mini-fridge, clothes-refreshing spray, etc

The toilet and the shower were warm and inviting. The coin laundry cost me a total of 700 yen, took 2. 5hrs and got my clothes clean and nice-and-dry. Slow but steady! Keep the stays cheap and yes: I'll be back!

The environment is very comfortable and secluded. We didn't play golf, so we didn't enjoy the hotel's course. However, we did enjoy the teppanyaki grill, which had excellent ingredients

I'm from the countryside, so I should have been used to it, but when I checked in, there was a huge spider in front of the entrance, a small spider in the entrance as soon as I entered the room, and a tiny gecko in the living room at the back

Even by the pool, we glared at each other, wondering if it was a big gecko or a lizard? I really hate geckos and other reptiles, so that was the only thing that really stuck in my memory

We even bought some Wagyu beef from the supermarket and fryed it—a real treat! There's also afternoon tea every day from 2 to 6 pm, featuring all-you-can-drink beer, red wine, white wine, and more! We also had BlueSeal ice cream in flavors like vanilla, red taro, lemon, and chocolate, as well as other small cookies

The amenities were good, the bedding was fine, and the room was clean! Every room except the living room is spacious and has two, so it would be great for friends, two families, or two households! The best thing about this place is that the planes fly right overhead, and very close by

The shampoo and body soap provided seemed to be intended for use after swimming in the ocean, so I recommend bringing your own for everyday use. The rooftop offers a panoramic view of the ocean and harbor!

The rooms are clean and the hotel is well kept. Highlight is the view from the rooms of the blue sea (partly a port ). You can keep the balcony windows slightly open and hear the ocean waves all night
