Big unfriendly hotel. The security is over zealous.
Excellent location, but low hygiene standards and run-down furnishing!
Good hotel for one or two nights. We were flying by. It was clean and tidy. The rooms are not big at all. The location is very cool, there are cafes and markers around. In the morning we went to the tram stop, and after 10-15 minutes we were already in the mountains and enjoying nature. Price-quality standards.

Very nice place, very nice staff
We arrived after a long flight all the way from the Philippines. We were nearby and decided to stop by there. We were captivated by the location, which was quiet and without constant traffic. Very cozy hotel. We really liked it 👍
Cozy, clean, comfortable soft snow-white bed. There is wi-fi, a kettle, a microwave, a fairly spacious refrigerator, air conditioning, towels, an ironing board, an iron -...
Excellent hotel, quiet, cozy, like home, I rented a room on the 3rd floor, you can see the mountains from the window 👍
Super clean and has whatever we need.
Basically owner hates tourist and love tourist money. Gives you that face.
Internet is very slow.
Room is good and clean, toilet is extremely small.
Location is far from city centre. Quiet but curtains are transparent, will get bright after 6am.
Normally here is good but internet is bad . Breakfast is not good not bad. Bed's is old. Another staff is nice. Otel manager is like nice .

The hotel is located at the heart of the city and just 30km away from the Airport. The washroom was clean but the bedsheet did not look clean. Also, the Sofa at the reception was old and dirty. They accept creditcard.

The Turkestan Hotel in Almaty is located next to one of Almaty’s largest markets. Almaty Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Behind a modern, glass exterior, the Turkestan Hotel welcomes guests with a spacious lobby and 24-hour reception.

All the class liked it, we will come again. Clean, comfortable service 👍👍👍
We lived for 5 days, I liked everything, Wi-Fi is free, breakfast is included in the price. I would especially like to note the work of all the girls, well done, very polite and friendly. Let's go and stop there soon.
Thank you 7 DAYS! Breakfast is very, very tasty! Everything is cozy, clean and calm!

A lovely stay with polite and kind staff and a peaceful atmosphere
Friends came and they liked it. The location is far from the center, but for those whose work is related to the industrial zone of our city, it is very convenient. Quiet, cozy. Polite staff.
Clean, comfortable hotel. Friendly team. Always ready to help at the right time. All the women at the reception are polite and courteous...

This hotel isn't close to the center of Almaty, but it is a really nice place to stay at a decent price. It's the most comfortable place I stayed in the city, with air conditioning and an actual double bed with a soft mattress. If you're looking for comfort and don't mind taking a trip to get to the city, I recommend this place.

This hotel is a B&B.
Pros:
1. Run by Chinese owners, so communication is easy.
2. The breakfast is simple but Chinese-style, with congee, eggs, and steamed buns. You can also order Chinese lunch and dinner, which is great for satisfying Chinese cravings.
3. Not far from the exhibition center, about a 20-minute drive.
4. Located on a hill, so it's relatively quiet.
5. The owner is very welcoming, and...
The owner is Chinese, and the environment is decent, located in a villa in a wealthy neighborhood. Breakfast is quite fixed: steamed buns, shredded potatoes, and pickles, but it suits Chinese palates. You can also bring your own food to heat up or have them help you. Thumbs up!
This is a guesthouse owned by someone from Jiangsu. The owner was very welcoming, but the location is too remote and the room facilities are mediocre. It's not suitable for business trips.
This should be more accurately described as a guest house for Chinese visitors in Almaty. The staff didn't speak any English and the included breakfast was clearly aimed at Chinese guests. However, the second morning, they did make an effort to provide fried eggs and salami instead of rice porridge, fried vegetables and spicy condiments. The friendly manager was also very helpful in ordering a taxi...
Private area and a super comfortable stay
I like the stay and Adiva she is good cook. She is very accommodating though she cannot speak English. Google translate helped us to communicate with her. Highly recommended to our friends and family. Book a taxi with them as the place is hardly reach by the airport taxi. In addition airport taxi is expensive. 😍✌️

The room was renovated but smelled 🚬. It wasn't really clean, there was hair under the sheets and in the bathtub. They gave us clean white sheets (though there were some ingrained stains, as you know how they show on white). We paid 12,000 rubles for this 3-bed room 🌙. The handwashing sink is very small, and you can't fill a 2-liter bottle of water for the trip.
It was good place to stay one day)) there is a small place to buy water in first floor.it was helpful to buy as I was visiting in the middle of night.

Nice place. Kind staff.
Wifi not so strong (at least on 3rd floor). Hot water, sauna, clean toilets and sheets, towels. Food is ok, not the best (steak at least was dry).
Close to sky.
Nice place in the middle of the way to the mountains
The hotel itself is not bad, quite new, cosy rooms, helpful staff. But location is not ideal

I stayed here for a day. A duvet cover was not provided with the bedding set. If you take a bed in a hostel and not a separate room, then the shower you will get is far from the best. If you manage to secure it, consider yourself lucky. Poor sound insulation, at night you can hear everything that happens on the other side of the door. At first glance, the rooms have...

Perfect.
Great location.
Great room.
Quiet.
Great value.
Thank you and see you again !
The staff were kind and helpful. Rooms are old and not comfortable. Breakfast poor. Just the staff were ok.
Nice hotel, very well located, the attention was really good, I was there with my family and the personnel was very friendly, the rooms were in good condition, for the price it is good, I was Ok for what I paid for.
Positive place with amazing friendly stuff, a little restaurant always welcoming with hot water. The place located in cozy calm place, but in the center of the city. All of my Korean friends loved it too! Recommend this hotel for business trips and everybody who travel with family~
Walking distance from almaty airport. Girl on reception was very helpful and spoke perfect English. Room was basic and very hot Aircon did nothing just blowing air. No kettle in room. But was better than staying in Airport for 16 hours. Just somewhere to rest and take a shower
A 15 minute walk from the airport. The price was half of the cost at the hotel in front of the airport. I liked the taste of the home-cooked complimentary breakfasts. The mattress was very firm. You must run the shower hot water for a while before it actually runs hot. I went down to the administrator to obtain the AC controller. They only accepted cash for the 12,000 Teng nightly charge. They also...

Would probably do it again, good option if you're in transit and you need to catch a few hours of sleep.
However, my capsule had a malfunction where all the lights went on multiple times during my stay, robbing me of that much needed sleep. Please fix that! 😅
Would definitely do it again, but strongly recommend Capslock upgrade to thicker mattresses, and issue earplugs, and (even checking in at 0130h and out at 0730h) you hear EVERYTHING! Shower room super clean & well appointed too. I stayed in the Capslock in the International terminal.
Diyar and Assyl services were great, helpful and accommodating as needed for ad-hoc stopovers. The Caps Locks were very convenient, comfortable and has everything a person would need including warm showers and clean towels - bathrooms are also few steps away. I would deft come back if needed.
I was going out of the airport and for the 1st time in my life I saw a capsule hotel. It was strange indeed. A small room with boxes-capsules that tend to be sleeping boxes..Very strange to me, but looks like it’s a popular place )
