This hotel has a fantastic ambiance with a strong Russian flair. Breakfast every morning was a real treat. The room was very quiet and the heating was excellent. It's super convenient for getting around, and it's easy to walk to many of the attractions. Definitely my top choice for a trip to Almaty.

The hotel is in a good location, room is clean abit smaller than when i stayed in holiday inn express but still able to put 2 luggages in the room. The breakfast spread is very good. Thumbs up. Plenty of food to keep you full. The dining area is abit small but there is still enough tables to serve at least 30 people. I think others who complaint about this probbaly came during summer or peak season...

Let's start with the positives: the hotel's location is decent, close to Mega, and situated in a quiet residential area. Compared to other hotels in Almaty, the price is relatively cheaper. Now for the negatives: the rooms are very old, giving you a distinct feeling of being transported back to the old Soviet era, 20-30 years ago. Very satisfied! Although it looks a bit dated, it's clean, well-equipped, and has a strong Soviet feel. The hotel food is plentiful, and transportation is convenient, with excellent bus connections right outside. It's not far from the airport either, less than a 30-minute drive. Plus, there's an elegant coffee shop on the first floor – fantastic!

The room was clean and tidy, and a good size compared to other hotels in Almaty. The breakfast restaurant was excellent with beautiful views. The international breakfast wasn't quite to my taste; I prefer the breakfast at Holiday Inn Express. But with such amazing views, it really didn't matter.

This is the second hotel I stayed at in Almaty. It's definitely an old-money style hotel. The hotel is located near the Koktobe cable car, which is convenient for getting around. The breakfast selection is not extensive, but it's still quite nice. The past two days have been sunny in Almaty. It's a great start to the new year!

We stayed in a yurt, which was very comfortable and warm for November, and the breakfasts were wonderfully delicious. There are also places to walk around and explore. However, the ski slopes are quite close to the yurts, which might be a disturbance for those who want to sleep in.

Apart from the good location, there is nothing good about it. The front desk had a bad attitude. They said they didn't have a charger when I asked to borrow one. Nice hotel. Near to shopping street & mall. Many halal restaurants nearby too. We didnt take the breakfast coz we wake up late. The room is compact with full amnities & also panty with full equipment so that you can cook but we not. We just enjoy thw local food. So delicious. I can name two 'Navat' & 'Qaganat'.

A wonderful hotel located in a new district of Almaty, about a 15-minute taxi ride to the center. The rooms are clean and the staff is very polite.

The breakfast selection was decent, and the rooms were clean and hygienic. Although the room facilities were a bit old, they were all in good working order. The hotel also has facilities such as a swimming pool and gym, which can enhance the overall experience, as well as some other recreational facilities. However, the overall location is not convenient for walking around.
