Our United flight was canceled and we were provided lodging at the Catalonia Ramblas, and Sabrina gave us the terrace suite! The room was very nice, with a heated towel rack and private pool
Zero noise through the night, very comfortable bed and plenty of comfy pillows, has a great pool which is rare in a big city, lovely staff, breakfast buffet is spot on and great location for the Ramblas and metro and buses
We could not have been happier!
We booked a Superior room, but were silently upgraded to a Deluxe room with a view of the pool and the courtyard. The room was quite large, beautifully renovated, with a great bathroom
Excellent service, neat, beautiful and very clean room, the bathroom is amazing with all the essentials you would require while on a trip, lovely pool area
Best stay so far in Spain 🩷 The entire hotel deco and design is very pleasant and top notch
Good facilities, very clean and located in the city centre!

The food was good with a decent variety, which worked well for both adults and children. Snacks available at the bar under the all-inclusive package were a bit limited, but still perfectly fine overall
The rooms were fairly basic, but they were spotlessly clean, which was the most important thing for us when travelling with young children
All of the staff were friendly and very helpful whenever we needed anything, and the local businesses in the area were also lovely and welcoming
You can pour your own beer, soft drinks and sangria. The pools are well kept and very clean. The staff as a whole are amazing and do there bit to ensure your needs are met. The rooms are very clean, well kept and great
We stayed here last summer for our first family holiday with our 5 and 2 year old and had a really great experience
Snacks for all inclusive consist of cheese and ham or plain cheese toasty, chips, crisps, hotdog, burger, ice creams and nuts! The pool bar staff were amazing! Please ignore reviews saying otherwise… if you’re nice and polite to them then they will be the same back and vice versa! A lot of people were quite rude to them so I’m not surprised they get a frosty reception! We’re English and found the other...

Lovely thick towels and dressing gown. Staff very nice esp Timothy who got me coffee at 6am! Food lovely. Girls didn't have firmness in fingers. lovely soft cushions at the pool
Good hotel, great territory. Beds, towels and breakfast are good. Service can be extremely slow. Swimming pool is ok. S bit of walking to the sea if you are there for holiday.
If u have trouble walking this is not the hotel for u. But I wud definitely stay there again!
Pool area is amazing almost like a Vegas style beach with lots of space and cabanas
The pool near the hotel was very clean and big enough
We loved the pool area. It had 2 different pools - one for kids and a bigger one for swimming. A bit dissapointed about the breakfast as you would expect a bigger variety at a 5 star hotel

On the beach front with everything you need on your doorstep. Not enough loungers at the pool but the beach is across the road. Cleaned every other day and reception staff friendly and welcoming
The otherwise nice pool could be overcrowded instantly with children jumping, diving, splashing. Nice hotel if crowds of children doesn't bother you
just returned from 2 weeks in Stella Maris thanks for a great holiday. hotel is spotlessly clean and staff were great. restaurant staff Juan Carlos, Ana, Lupe, Tania, Juani were always happy and attentive
Brilliant service and very pleasant staff, especially the young lady who was very friendly and helpful. Will visit again for food.
bar staff Angel and Mariajose always pleasant and gave great service. the girls behind reception also first class
There is a laundrette attached if you wanted to use it and a nice bar at the entrance

Nice hotel. Clean. Cleaned every day. Liked.
The hotel turned out to be better than expected. It was great value given the price charged for the room. Happy and will re book this hotel in future.
Pretty good, the surroundings are safe, and it's very convenient to take the bus. It's also close to the beach.
This hotel is a solid choice for business travelers looking for convenience and value. The location is unbeatable—right next to the conference center I was visiting, with easy access to public transport links
The only minor downsides were the thin walls, which let in some hallway noise, and the slow room service during the evening rush. Overall, it’s a practical pick that gets the job done without any frills
Room is very clean ✨ the hotel is located very close to shops, convenience stores and restaurants in Poblenou. The service is very good as well, crew is polite and they are all well-dressed

Sunbeds €20 for the day for 2 with table and umbrella, very comfy. Restaurant 108 very Spanish but English speaking not great. A restaurant next door not foreign friendly in fact not welcoming foreigners at all
The food was excellent, featuring fresh seafood and vegetables. Enjoying both dinner and breakfast with the sea view made the experience truly amazing. In October, there was free parking available nearby
It was a wonderful vacation, and I highly recommend this place. The rooms are cleaned regularly, and ours (room 311) had a beautiful sea view. The room also included a free safe
Menu entirely Spanish so didn’t attempt to go in. Television all Spanish channels, English ones seem to have been switched off. Local bars would not put English football on only Spanish
Have been going to Spain since I was 19 now 59. Based on this trip would not go again. Welcoming and all year round sun and friendly people. If you don’t want us we won’t come

Pool delightful but building a sauna at the moment, so not peaceful, beautiful, never the less. Food here is some of the best I have ever tasted, and I am a worldwide traveller, compliments to your chefs
The pool, food, cocktails, service and our room were fabulous - I was a little concerned after some of the reviews but we had a fantastic experience. I would love to go back tomorrow!
I spent a few hours at the hotel for a business reception and was very impressed. Just a few minutes outside of the city, it feels like a countryside resort. The food was truly excellent, and the variety impressive
A classic, high-service hotel. TIP: While offering a great view, the trade-off is that you cannot easily walk anywhere or catch the metro
Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Miramar, it’s so peaceful and beautiful with the city views
I wished I had booked longer for my massage and facial. Very skilled spa therapists and big shout out to lovely guy at spa reception from the Pacific islands. This is a complete escape from the city, a retreat almost
Terrible lighting, limited space for clothes
Pool- lots of sun beds, limited umbrellas, cleanliness an issue, tables filled with dirty ashtrays two days in a row
Staff- not terribly friendly especially restaurant staff, bar staff were better
Food- atrocious, only managed 2 evenings had to eat out after that. Breakfast poor but we didn't go hungry. Services-25 euros for safe key plus a 10euro deposit. No info re spa or pool towels
Just stayed at this hotel from 17th to 20th of April 2025. The hotel lobby, lounge and pool were in great condition. The room (320) was clean and reasonably modern but the bed was very uncomfortable
Room are good size single bed each for the children & double for adults lots of storage in room, mini fridge & tv included. Towels & bedding changed daily & rooms cleaned also daily
Nice hotel, spotless and clean. Food might have been more varied, but i think you can say that about a lot of hotels on this type of holiday. But all round enjoy my stay and would definitely return here again
It was good there, I enjoy last week no problems, I up early that ok and the car was under me! No problem Stephen

From the photos it looked a bit old-fashioned, but in reality it has real character. The rooms are modernized and well kept, and the outdoor area with the pool is beautiful
You can see the beach from the balcony near the pool, bad if you'd like to walk around the beach side because it would take 15-20mins of walking
Cons: breakfast was so expensive lol 17 euros per person and we had breakfast during our whole stay and it was all the same :// they don't change anything, not even add anything so if I were you, just skip the breakfast here
Service throughout the hotel was great, with staff being very friendly everywhere — perhaps just a little too professional at reception. Location and value for money: excellent
We were pleasantly surprised by this charming hotel. It’s in a great location on a hill, easy to reach by car, and much more grand than we expected, felt a bit like a hacienda
We stayed for 4 days and three nights. Pros: looks good and is relatively clean, location would be considered great if you like to be a bit far from the road
Excellent facilities, a great place to enjoy and relax or spend the weekend

Was here for my honeymoon with my wife and it it was clean, perfect and the spa was amazing!
Breakfast was delicious and always varied every day!
Bed was super comfy and pillows were too!
Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Barcelona!
It rained during my stay in Barcelona, and the hotel kindly provided umbrellas, which was a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located near both bus stops and the metro
Excellent hotel, good service, really good breakfast, the room was clean and nice, we had a really good experience, suggestion for improvement on my behalf it would be to put milk in the room for coffee
I tried to turn on the air conditioning, but it made a loud rattling noise. It was cold, so I had to ask for an extra blanket. Most of the front desk staff were friendly and helpful
The room was a bit on the small side, but okay. Everything inside felt a bit old and worn. Maybe it's because it's close to the sea, and with the rainy weather, it always felt damp
The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway station, making transport easy. The service is great, and the facilities are comprehensive.

The pool area was clean with plenty of beds, tables and chairs. There was an additional sun deck on the upper level with further loungers and the double bed style ones as well
We didn’t do the spa but the indoor pool and spa facilities looked good. Drinks were cheap €3 a decent size wine, the snacks were fresh and very reasonably priced
Rooms are modern and spotless. The bed was comfy and the huge walk in shower was powerful and always hot. There was a small fridge but no kettle which didn’t matter as we took our own travel one
A large tv had some English channels but didn’t check how many. We had a quiet road view, sitting on the balcony was very pleasant. Housekeeping was every day, friendly efficient service
The delightful lady that cooked all the show cooking single handedly was amazing and a huge asset to the hotel. We purchased a decent bottle of wine for€8 and the staff put it in the fridge for the next day
Stayed here with my 2 children Hotel was clean, staff were so friendly and helpful Spa was amazing and food was great Possible it’s one of the best hotels I have stayed in

Two giant bugs found their way into the room. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Some noise issues with the windows so make sure to bring earplugs if not a sound sleeper
The hotel has an excellent location, rich breakfast options, and the room is clean, refreshing, comfortable and quiet!
Didn't have anything to eat while there so can't comment on it
Location is good.
But the cost is..
Good for 4 stars.
Very well located hotel, nice and clean room. Unfortunately we have a window problem so in the evening it was quite noisy because we could hear what was happening outside
Despite this the staff is very welcoming and the hotel restaurant has a very good quality/price ratio
Have been to this hotel four times before. The last time was fifteen years ago. and the hotel is lovely staff are tentative and pleasant. Food good and location is good. Only down side its not Adults only
Decent food at the buffet, friendly staff and nice pool and bar in the evening There was no air conditioning in the room.
Great accommodation , the view is breathtaking the staff is kind and helpful. The housekeeper Mihaela on the 3rd floor has exceeded expectations! Delighted with the room keeping.
And it was busy at this time of year with family's
Good hotel with friendly staff. Good food and a short walk to the beach.
A lot of people, very busy but somehow that managed to keep the buffet food quality to a good level and the service of dining room staff excellent for the environment. Very noisy with so many people though
There's a roof top pool with small bar, a small pool by the accessible lift , plus the main pool with a terrace area. Hotel also has a snack bar opposite the main pool
I did find the restaurant staff a little less friendly, but this is a very small criticism of what I found to be a wonderful hotel. The furniture and shower is to die for
The rooms are not huge, but plenty of room and to a very good standard. My experience of the bar staff is second to none. Good price to in food and drink
Entertainment could have been better. The other young woman was great in keeping guests smiling and enjoying themselves with the songs she had
All in all a excellent place to stay for food, location, comfort, cleanliness and accessibility to the street outside
Not a criticism , maybe an opportunity of what is an outstanding hotel

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The reception staff were helpful and kind. I had some good conversations with the house keepers in Spanish. 😊
The people who amazed me most were the kitchen staff
However the cleanliness of the rooms weren’t great and our bed linen weren’t changed all week, but fresh towels were provided daily. Food isn’t great but local restaurants nearby were good
Might consider staying again when I go to main Barcelona. As there’s lovely stuff in the area. I recommend people to visit the botanical gardens in Blanes. It is beautiful and you can get some amazing holiday photos
I came with a friend, but due to circumstances- finished the trip solo. I was nervous being alone, but the experience was good and the staff made me feel at ease. Cameron O’Neill (room 159 haha)
Before the trip, I was a bit skeptical of the hotel due to some reviews. However, I dismiss most of the bad reviews. As it is a good hotel, and at a very good price
Especially the two cute younger men 😆. They were amazing and so good at what they do. Cleaning tables quickly, having good manners, kind and very helpful

The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside the subway station, making it easy to get anywhere. However, if you're hailing a taxi, you'll need to walk a bit, and Uber isn't always reliable during peak hours
Hotel is decent but nothing special. Rooms are dated and definitely not worth the £91 we paid. Pool is a good size but could do with refurbishing as it looked dirty and dated, although it was clean
Excellent location, the lobby is clean and beautiful. The room is spacious and affordable. There's a subway station nearby and a supermarket across the street
This hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Camp Nou, which is incredibly convenient for catching a game. It's also very close to a subway station and has a supermarket nearby
It's very convenient for shopping, and the area is quiet and safe
Overall, the room itself is quite quiet. The breakfast served in the room is tasty, and you can also order lunch or dinner, which are decent
The rooftop closed at 7pm every night and the pool area and bar closed at 8pm every night!!
The balconies are all overlooked by each other but the sea view is quite nice
Great stay
Good facilities and great value for money. Be aware that the roof terrace is adult only. We went with our 4 year old so couldn’t go up there
Positive: very clean hotel throughout, rooms are beautiful, wonderful sea view, pool area has plenty of sunbeds, most staff are very friendly and professional, great selection for breakfast, excellent location
Fabulous Hotel
Beautiful hotel with amazing views from the roof top terrace, we would return just to back to the roof top itself
Like the pool and the proximity to the beach.
Lovely hotel, great location, very comfortable rooms, helpful staff and the best breakfast buffet I've ever seen!

I spent a week at this hotel and, as a hospitality professional in Paris, I can confirm it is among the best I have experienced. Cleanliness was flawless across all areas: pool, reception, corridors, and rooms
The price/performance ratio is very good. It is close to the sea. The breakfast is very rich. There are two swimming pools. It is very photogenic.
The services are excellent, from the super convenient beach towel service to the massive breakfast spread (which impressively runs until noon)
The property has three pools with plenty of space for everyone, and the rooms were very comfortable as well
Sara at reception was fantastic, on check in she gave us lots of information about the hotel, the city, and etc. location is perfect, 3 minutes from the beach and basically close to the main amenities
The only weak point was the check-in process, limited by the PMS system in use, which reduces flexibility. The location is excellent, close to everything. We came by car but barely needed it

There is a nice seating area both inside and out, the kids pool is brilliant, with water slides they are sure to love. As others have said, the water is freezing!
For more peace, there are 2 other pools to choose from
Having visited in late October, there were no sunbed wars, and ample seating in the evenings (although it got very busy for Halloween)
Earlier in the season, I could see it getting a lot busier and you may struggle to find seats to watch the shows. We never queued for long to get drinks (although this could change in June) as the bar area is quite small
We found the food to be varied, with a large selection of goods for all meals of the day. Food was high quality and restaurant staff were all great. Some dishes were absolutely amazing
Both children loved the free ice cream!
If arriving with a hire car, park down at the beach for free parking (under 5 minute walk away). There wasn't anything we inherently disliked
Drinks are all great quality though and most things are included in the all inclusive. Bar staff were wonderful, fast and efficient, friendly and great with the kids
