Did not particularly like the resort of Arenal but the hotel was clean , staff friendly and efficient . Unfortunately the sun did not come onto the pool until 11.30am and was gone by 4.30pm but it was only a few minutes to the beach . My only criticism was I found the bed hard but overall the hotel is good value for money and would recommend if on a budget .

From my expirience this hotel has very good location. Brekfast and diner were very good whit a lot of choice what to eat. Rooms needs update because the bed was not that confortable and also pilows were too hard. Generaly I would say was OK and value for the money. I can recomended it.

The room insulation is poor; you can hear all the noise from other rooms, the street, the elevator, etc...

First of all, the cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired: there was a blood stain on the sheets, and they were never changed during the four days. The bed was barely made daily, and the towels weren't replaced either. Basic maintenance was simply not up to scratch. The bathroom posed a real danger, with the shower temperature going from scalding hot to freezing cold in a matter of seconds...

Hotel staff was very friendly. Snacks seemed to be leftover from breakfast which was a bit unusual as I thought it would be actual snacks. If that could be improved that would be great. But anything else was perfect. Especially the cleaners the lady who cleaned our room she was an amazing hard worker and made sure our room was perfectly tidy. She deserves a promotion.

Had a lovely stay at blue sea. We stayed for 5 nights and loved it. After seeing some harsh reviews we were initially worried. Rooms were clean, some TLC needed on walls and bathroom. Blue sea hotel was ideally situated . Clean and friendly . Food good . The only negative i would give is the lack of sun beds . There is a terrace by the pool with table and chairs which no one used . Would be better to fit more sun beds here .
