3 star hotels in Majorca island

Our stay has not been too bad , however there are a few things to consider when coming here ! No fridge or kettle in room . Our room is in need of some tlc as is the pool area ! My biggest complaint would be the continuous noise of crockery , pots and pans bashing from the hotel next door !! It’s horrendous and once you think about it the noise seems to get worse !! Came here with my 13 yr old son(who has additional needs). The hotel is situated 10 min walk from the beach and there are shops including the Spar within 2min walk. There is also a bar/restaurant at the end of the street and further along there are other pizza restaurants, local food. Pharmacy and tobacconist. Aqualand is 10min walk also but there is a free bus. The staff are lovely, very helpful but their English is very limited. Rooms are ok - very basic but clean. The air con in some of the rooms has been upgraded. The older aircon rooms are hot and in need of a revamp. There is no light on the balcony, so if you’re expecting to read your book outside at night, you cant ! You pay extra for a safe. Great stay overall! The staff at reception were super friendly. We got a great price for a hotel with a pool, daily breakfast, and a location close to the beach. The breakfast buffet was tasty and had a nice variety. Everything was clean and comfortable – would definitely stay again!

This is a lovely hotel in the old town, because this is a pedestrian zone you do gave to carry your bags to the hotel, just a heads up if that is an issue. The rooms are small but well appointed, the staff very helpful. Would definitely book again.

Nice boutique hotel Second time we stayed at this lovely boutique hotel. The location in Alcúdia old town couldn’t be better, surrounded with historical sites, shops and restaurants. The famous market in Old Alcúdia on Tuesdays and Sundays is just around the corner.

The staff was incredible! The were so helpful and made us feel at home during our 10 day stay. I cannot recommend ARA Alcudia enough!

I arrived late at night and someone came down to assist me to my room. Staff are friendly and im shocked at the reviews on here..7 nights in middle of July was around £720 which is really good for the price. Helpful and lovely staff, good quality room and location - AC not working well

The air conditioning didn't work well, it was very old and barely blew fresh air, and to turn on the bathroom light you had to enter it without seeing because it was next to the sink.

We stayed for just one night during our hiking holiday. Our double room was quite nice although a little dark and there was not much of a view. It is quite old but has character and charm. Breakfast was nice and pleasant. For the check-in we had to call a number that was written on a chalk board outside. No problem – we got through immediately and our key was ready for us inside.

We loved our stay with Xisco and Isabel. Their hotel is beautiful and traditional with a lovely garden and the perfect location in the centre of town. The basic rooms are a bit small and beds slightly hard but we didn’t mind - there is AC for the hot nights, the room was cleaned daily, and it was all we needed as we were out all day. We stayed here for three nights, could stay longer. The design is very chic and cozy, but what made our stay so great was how considerate and kind the owners are. The best iced coffee in Peguera!! Milkshakes are good too. We didn't eat here but the drinks were really enjoyable on a hot day and they were happy for us to take our tray over to the beach.

Lovely family hotel right at the beach.

We have stayed Alua in Palma before and thats why chose Alua Alcudia again but I think hotels are not the same. We had enjoyed our stay in Palma but this time the hotel was so loudy , even heart next room’s phone call; that was so unconfortable.And hotel looks like more comfy on the photos but it has only small pool and not big and nice as looks.

Good hotel with superb location

It is an excellent hotel. We liked its location and the restaurant. The room was clean. The shower in the room was excellent. We especially liked that on the departure date, the hotel allowed us to use a special room with a shower and the possibility of changing clothes. Wi-fi worked well. The only problem was that the air conditioner did not work properly and did not cool down the room.

It's definitely a hotel worth recommending, especially in Alcudia, but the service in the kitchen is unfortunately a bit poor! Plates aren't cleared away immediately, for example?!!!!! I could name several more examples...

But be mindful this hotel accommodates mostly the French travellers, so language at the shows ,competitions, karaoke and other entertainment is almost purely French speaking. This could end up being a 5. We are here at the moment. All is well apart from one thing. Whilst the majority of guests here are French, the excellent animation team seem to have totally overlooked the fact that other nationalities are also here. We can't join in if we don't understand the language being constantly spoken. Please look at your demograph.

Wow what a place! We came here with our daughter who has a serious egg allergy and on the first night, the chef came out to us and walked round the entire buffet showing what she could and couldn't eat. We enjoyed our holiday at this hotel. The view was amazing from our (really big ) room. We found the food to be good despite what people had said about it. We were not entirely happy that everything was no available on all inclusive such as paying extra for cocktails. This has been included in other hotels we have been to. We were there this weekend and it was a very good experience. The staff is super friendly and attentive to anything you may need. Very spacious room, huge bathroom with shower and bathtub, small kitchen with covered dishes, refrigerator and microwave, but the best: the spectacular views! positive: very beautiful sea view, large studio negative: apart-hotel without elevator, work in the hotel during the stay (noise of drill), unsuitable equipment (example: bathtub without suitable cap to retain the water!, hot water tank of 75 L insufficient to take a bath!, connected TV but insufficient wifi! therefore impossible to watch, TV too low compared to the bed canopy.

Very nice staff. The location is excellent, right in front of the sea and the rooms are great. The air conditioner works well and they let you use beach umbrellas, antisun cream, glasses etc. I totally recommend to come here

It's a nice place for the money. Room is huge with big bed and couch. The view is very nice, we enjoyed having wine on the balcony. The owner is a friendly german woman who merry is and explained everything. There is small fridge in the room. Plates and glasses. No kettle or microwave. Suitable for a few days away. Very central location perfect for festival weekend. Very attentive host, always available and very helpful. The room was clean and a heater is provided for the winter months. The walls are thin so you can hear almost everything. We were very lucky as the host moved us to a nice, quiet room with a sea view. We found staying here easy for us as its near the beach and many restaurants etc. When we needed food recommendations the owners responded really quickly with a good tapas place. However, as people have said, the bar directly below is extremely loud on most nights with karaoke etc so be aware

Really convenient location close to everything. We had the family room which had two floors for 4 people. The beds were sooo comfortable, and the shower was amazing. It was very clean and bright. The receptionist who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quirky and interesting. WiFi was free and reliable!

Such a great location that it is quiet and one min walk from everything you can imagine. Walkable 10-15 mins to most places around Palma that are buzzing, clean and tidy and suggested for younger folks though as rooms for 4 have galleries with very odd steps to it.

I paid 274 euros per night for a mid-oct travel. - Likes 1. The room is not small, 28 m2 2. There is a balcony - Dislikes 1. The fridge temp is set to low, cannot control, you can only keep beverages. 2. Amenities are bare minimum. Great hotel. I was a bit uneasy with it being a virtual hotel, but it worked perfectly. We hadn't realised the door cards timeout on your checkout time. We were late back and couldn't get into the rooms. Easily ressolved. Our fault but something to be mindful of and perhaps could have been told about. We stayed here 5 nights and everything was really good. Food is ok, we always found something to eat and rooms were cleaned regularly. The entertainment during the day was sooo good, water polo, billiard, darts, kids club. A good hotel at a reasonable price. All rooms have beautiful views of the pool and sea. The food is good; you won't go hungry. There are always several types of meat and fish. Hotel is nice and clean. Service is varied. Some waiters and bartenders and friendly but not all. Food is mediocre, quite bland but hygiene level is good. Music is too loud and poor quality. Unfortunately it's on most of the day (and part of the evening too).

It’s all in the detail, but the staff here couldn’t do enough to ensure I had a good trip, from reception, to the room maids, to the restaurant. The whole place is immaculately clean clearly with high standards being demonstrated. The hotel feels like a throwback to a better time, yet still maintains a modern feel.

Nice apartment with a little kitchen - so perfect for low budget travellers that aim to cook at home. It’s a bit of a walk but totally fine (15 min).  All in all really recommendable.

Stayed here in August with my mum and little girl (3). From arrival to departure all the staff we met were excellent, on occasion going above and beyond for our needs. Welcoming and helpful staff from the time we arrived and throughout the holiday. The facilities are great with pool, gym, bar and snack bar. I travelled with my two teenage sons and we were all disappointed with the room allocated. It did not look like the ones shown online, in particular the bathroom which was very small and did not have a proper shower cubicle, just a tray with a short curtain around which meant that water leaked out when the shower was used.
