The views of the mountains and ocean combined were superb, both from our room and the rooftop pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful, issues were sorted very quickly when they were made aware of them

Simple accommodation, simple breakfast. Slept amazingly well and the pool on the roof is exquisite

Great value for under 90 euros per day. Nice bathroom, balcony, bed and ok kitchen. Nice and helpful reception. Very close to the central bus station and Hiper Dino with fishmonger, butcher and cheese shop.

Location was also good, 5 mins from the beach, 15 to Loro Parque and 10 to the town centre (all on foot). I had the all inclusive which had a good selection of drinks available

The only downsides were that it was a little loud next to a bus station and the WiFi except for the ground floor wasn't great (that could've been my fault though)

Food options were generally decent, perhaps nothing special but good enough. For a 3-star hotel this was a very comfortable stay

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was tidy and cozy, and the staff made me feel very welcome. The location was perfect for getting around, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out

Friendly, helpful, and polite staff in all areas. Fantastic, freshly prepared, and well presented food in the restaurant and for breakfast. Inexpensive restaurant prices, given the quality of the food

It's not really worth it, but it's a matter of taste! The staff was very friendly, from reception to the waiters and housekeeping. I should mention that this was our first visit to the island

Having booked before I read some of the reviews ( from 2017/2018) I was a bit concerned. However the more recent reviews seemed better so I was hopeful. My view was that the Hotel was great

For us, this was a positive aspect + pool bar atmosphere was very chill and the bar was surrounded by a nice garden + the bartender was always in a good mood and was carefully preparing the best sangria he could think of (self-mixed)

The mattresses in our room were bad; we requested a replacement and they were changed. If this happens to you, request it immediately. The facilities are those of a traditional hotel

Plenty of salad as its own course or to go with main course - always some sort of fish (normally white); a meat dish or two plus pasta and a sauce; various types of potato; big variety of puddings and fruit and cheese too if you have any room

Breakfast was quite good, but drinks weren't included at dinner (this wasn't specified in any of the instructions sent), and the food was very average

I didn't like that my room's windows overlooked the courtyard well. I had to open the window because there was no air conditioning and hear my neighbors snoring, which was very unpleasant

Very nice and quaint hotel, priced very reasonably. The rooms were clean and well kept. There is a rooftop swimming pool, a sauna and a gym, plus a private parking lot for a separate price (5€ per day)

I was assigned a corner room with two balconies on the top floor. It was so nice because the cool breeze came in and the low roof of the house was pretty. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious and nice

Really good location and only a short walk to the bus station. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in Puerto , there was something for everyone to eat and very good quality. The building was very clean and had great WiFi

Hotel Marte combines an ideal location, clean and comfortable rooms, a delicious breakfast, and friendly, attentive staff. Excellent value for money, perfect for a return stay.

The room was nice, but the facilities were outdated. The service was good, and they even provided a kettle.

It is a one bedroom apartment and the sofa bed in the lounge is a really good quality, comfortable one Castle Harbour overall seems well maintained, and the staff are friendly from reception to the pool/snack bar

She has an exceptional rating for a reason! There are so many nice hospitable touches, like leaving you water, crisps, fruit, tea, biscuits, shampoo, shower gel, handwash, dish liquid, laundry tabs, etc

We have stayed multiple times with Margarita. Her rooms are clean, fresh, and beautiful

A 15-20 minutes walk will see you at the seafront with an uphill walk back, but if you're fit, this is no problem. Hire a car from the airport though as there is plenty of parking in the road

We stayed in apartment 416 which is hosted by the helpful Eugen. This apartment has been newly refurbished and decorated and is perfect for a family

I LOVE staying at Castle Margherita's Apartments because I know I am well looked after with shops, restaurants, a pool, 24-hour concierge, and a wonderful room in the complex, with the most amazing hosts!

Great location for beach bus station siam park. regularly cleaned great shower. Staff friendly & helpful. Sun from 10am till 6pm round pool. Tidy bar outside called Miami bar. Tidy supermarket also across road.

The pool area was quiet, and probably not suitable for small children and families as there is no inflatables and balls allowed but plenty of sun loungers, yes the times are 11-7, but to be fair the sun doesn't hit the pool area until about 11 anyway

Yes there is some noise at night but this hotel is right between Adeje and Las Americas and if you're looking for ultra quiet this is not the place for you, but I think the hotel are trying to move away from large groups of younger people

Yes the transfer coach does drop off and pick up at the bus stop just round the corner but it's at most 3mins away with a small hill. Although if you have mobility issues, pulling your suitcase up maybe an issue

The rooms are all in the process of being upgraded, there still isn't air con but we left the balcony door open and it was ok. The room was spotless, plenty of plug sockets, hairdryer was good

They are renovating all the rooms. New bathroom, kitchen, sofas, TV's , beds, lighting, plug sockets, usb ports. They have been bought into the 21st century. Don't tell too many people !!!!

Good and fresh food /breakfast 7.30 and lunch/diner 19-21.30/, different meat or fish every day. Quite far from the beach /26 mins walk back - it's on the hill/. Roomes cleaned every day. Very nice staff.

The location is good, a quiet area, and you can almost always find parking. It's a bit far from the city center. The service was adequate. Breakfast and dinner were fine.

In Tenerife, you can have a lots fun in Acquario. It's a nice place to be.

A bit old, but friendly and helpful staff and cleaning every day

15 eur for boufet breakfast was ok but the dinner had only chicken and vegetables. There is someone living nearby coughing very badly, walls are thin, you can hear really everything

Not like in the images at tripadvisor. Receptionist were kind, speaking English well. The room was small, which wolud have been ok but the furnituring was uncomfortable

- The hotel has a nice pool with sun beds and umbrellas set around it, however these are pretty much reserved by towels/bags of certain hotel guests who lay their towels at breakfast and then disappear, not returning until mid afternoon after their windsurf/kite sessions

This hotel was such a stellar find! I booked my holiday the day before I flew on a whim, and I struck gold with this hotel. Really affordable, well looked after, clean, modern rooms, and super helpful and friendly staff

I found settings 3-4 to be more than sufficient to keep me cool, especially as I kept the balcony door open for fresh air as well

Beautiful scenery and good for wind surfing. It was fun to speak with the local staff there in the hotel with excellent service.

While the rooms don't have air-conditioning, there is a ceiling fan with 6 speeds which does the job perfectly

It is at the top of a very big hill, so without these facilities you do feel stranded and, if you included 'pool' and 'bar' in your holiday criteria you are going to be very disappointed

However, it is advertised on LoveHolidays as having an onsite bar, restaurant and pool. The pool closed 6 years ago, the restaurant and bar as at 20 February 2026 is closed

The natural wondrous pools of Garachico are farther down the hill, a short 5-10 minute drive away. Good hiking forests up the hill

Awesome view and very nice personal. The internet is unfortunately not necessarily made for working remotely. Also the Kitchen is not very well equipped if you plan to cook a lot

Ok it's not a shiny new hotel but it is quiet and peaceful, has everything you need, an incredible view, and you won't find better hosts, truly good people who saved my life that night. Thank you Estrella del Norte!

I arrived here late one night in an urgent manner after suddenly being unable to drive to my booked destination due to losing my spectacles! They were super accommodating and helpful even very late

We mainly used the rooftop solarium to sunbathe when the weather allowed. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas but a strong unplesant smell from the drains. The bar by the rooftop pool was good and prices reasonable

Fab location, rooms and facilities very good. 2 pools, both really nice, roof terrace amazing when the sun was out. We did have a bit of rain, sangria helped on those days

Very nice atmosphere with other guests HOWEVER Make sure you get the safe, we had money taken from our room, yes I know its our own fault but in the 40 years we have been travelling we don't bother and this us our first experience of money being taken

we stayed here in a 2 bedroom apartment as an RCI exchange. good location, but unfortunately the resort is cheaply renovated. mattress wasn't comfortable and the worse of all a very strong sewer smell in the bathroom

There is no daily cleaning (although I believe you can pay for one) but they do come in with a change of towels mid week. This suited us as we like an undisturbed lie in on holiday

We stayed in a suite with a decent sized balcony overlooking the delightful pool which we couldn’t use as the weather was poor. The room was large,well equipped with a very comfortable bed and spacious seating area

I stayed three times recently and have stayed previously also. Comfortable beds, great showers and a nice pool area. The breakfast is varied and tasty. Definitely recommended

We spent four nights in this very good hotel located in a quiet up market residential area within 10 minutes walk from the centre

Good restaurants not far away, bus stops just along the road. There is a pool outside but we didn't have time to take a dip but it looked OK. Breakfast very comprehensive nice to see bottles of Cava available

Unfortunately there was a mix up with the allocation of our room on arrival however this was resolved fairly quickly

Breakfast was super tasty, with a wide array of different foods, hot and cold and the cherry was eggs made your way with tasty bacon 👌 The front of house staff, be it as reception or at breakfast we’re always on hand to assist

We stayed at DWO Nopal for a week as we explored Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz and Teide. It is clean, modern, stylish and san excellent experience. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient

From the people on the reception to the people on the top floor serving breakfast and all those in-between they were so friendly and helpful, the hotel was a joy to stay in.

We had the room cleaned again the following day as we thought it might have been rushed before we checked in. Would happily returns as overall, it was a pleasant experience

Free yoga class Lovely & recently refurbished hotel in the town centre, short walk from bus station. Staff excellent & free yoga class a bonus

We did find certain guests annoying as they would play music on their phones without head phones. A notice by the pool asking guests NOT to do this would be very helpful, not everyone has the same taste in music

Location is right in the heart of Puerto De La Cruz. Shops, bars, restaurants and ATM’s on the doorstep. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had a budget single room which was a more spacious than I was expecting

My new favourite place to stay in Tenerife North. Everything was absolutely perfect. I was a bit dubious after reading reviews but can happily say I’m glad I ignored them

Bed very comfortable, good shower, microwave, kettle, tv, mini fridge and nice sized wardrobe with extra bedding if needed. The room and hotels were very clean

Lovely rooftop swimming pools and numerous chill areas and tables. Great breakfast and lots to choose from. I liked it that much I’ve extended my stay another few while I do some remote work

This place was cheap and cheerful got wot wee paid for a bit dated but beds were changed every day except sundays room was cleaned and towels changed every day

Claire is on his pool by the office a reasonable selection of food and drink, and it is also open in the evening offering a set meal as a price that’s bearable if you don’t want to go out of the complex and explore the myriad of other restaurants that are available nearby

Reserving a sun bed can be challenging – before 10 am each morning many regulars seem to reserve their piece of concrete with their towels for an hour previous to the sun beds being unlocked

After 5 days seeing German children play with volleyball in the pool I thought the reviews must be wrong about pool strictness

Staircase steep and creaky! Garden rooms nice but one side of hotel on the shade and it’s more of a terrace than a garden as open but each have sunbeds, tables and chairs Pool area - nice sized pool, opens at 9am, loads of sunbeds with padded ones on far terrace

Can hire pool towels and there is a shower room and luggage room - we couldn’t get late check out, don’t think many can but it’s 12pm so not too bad Liked hotel and room size fab but downside was room location - room’s reception block side are noisy - we were above the outside disco/dj area (277) and was next to the cleaners storage room

Level 3 has a few sun terraces too if you are not bothered being next to pool. Always spotless with grassed area. Pool bar area and restaurant - prices reasonable - 2 euro for small beer

It features a veranda with a private pool, sun loungers, and an outdoor table and chairs, plus an indoor table and chairs. The entire apartment is bright and comfortable

This is an excellent place to stay. We booked through Tenerife Royal Gardens agents Roberto, George and his team. We have had an apartment with them for many years

Fantastic venue with two pools one of them heated stones through from beach bars and restaurants. Make sure to visit restaurant Mumbia to Shangai fabulous food.

I would highly recommend TRG , this super accommodation is the best place in Tenerife. To deal with the George & staff is 100%. Pool and amenities are spotless

The pool bar is excellent, Johnny , Sandra & hani (their daughter) are so nice and provide an excellent service

The worst part was that the shower only had ice cold water, all the taps in the apartment had no hot water so not the best experience! Every morning the shops and restaurants had deliveries and pallets were wheeled above us from 6am so no good if you like a lie in! The pool area was lovely and the heated pool was perfect, lots of loungers available and very quiet

The rooftop pool has fantastic views in all directions. There is a lifeguard on duty and it now boasts a bar. We've been visiting Los Cristianos for over 20 years and wish we'd discovered this Hotel years ago

I liked having a room facing the church. A nice pool area on the roof with good views of the surrounding area. Sandwiches salads and drinks brought to your lounger

What a beautiful, old style Spanish hotel. The rooms are lovely, the staff are superb and the pool area is so clean and quiet. An oasis in the middle of the town

Check-in staff were brilliant and the catering team were so lovely. The breakfast chefs, Rosa and Maria do a fabulous job and Ly, Loli and Carmen did a sterling job serving throughout the day

After one hour of phone calls / waiting for information/ complications we saw that this hotel had a room in a very busy resort ( most were fully booked) We decided to get an Uber to central Los Cristianos to arrive in person instead of booking online again ! Luckily Eduardo welcomed us and promised to do his best to help us and within 30 minutes we were in a very good room in a very nice hotel !...

It wasn't until I made a scene at reception and made them explain the difference between 'blanket' and 'towels' (just to make sure they understood English) that they finally brought the blanket

We had a great time at the hotel , the seaview was beautiful, fabulous breakfast also

The staff absolutely didn't care about guest requests. I asked for an extra blanket THREE TIMES, and on the third try, they brought towels 🤦

The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels! The breakfast was a buffet breakfast and was lovely! The pool area was clean and tidy! Noise levels at night weren't too bad just some background noise of the music in the bars! In the day time the hotel offers free activities in the pool and outside the pool and has free equipment at anytime to play ping pong, football, tennis etc

They gave me a room facing the noisiest bars, which are loud until 2 AM, and didn't warn me about it. The breakfast staff were also rude. You have to beg for an omelet, and they do everything with sour faces
