Room was very run down, balcony was very small. Food was edible but most of the hot food was cold. Gym in the spa was very old equipment, poor hygiene and not cleaned very often. Felt like I was totally ripped off staying here.

The flat was very nicely situated in the old town with the ability to get to all the sites and the many restaurants & bars. The flat its self was situated in the 7th floor of a 1950”s building with a very old fashion 2 person lift that did not work very well and at times not at all. The room was very clean, and the hotel facilities were excellent, with great service. However, the room we were given was quite noisy. The garbage truck passed by on the street outside around 6 AM and 10 PM, and it was really loud.

Charming hotel in a very central location. Some features, like the showers, could do with modernising, but the grounds are beautiful and the pool is large and heated all year round. Very satisfied. The hotel environment is great, with a small botanical garden right next door. The room also has a large balcony where you can sunbathe and enjoy the view. There are also many supermarkets around the hotel. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel - clean modern rooms, 2 main outdoor pools, plus a quieter 'infinity' pool, a wellness centre (including jacuzzi, steam room and sauna), gym and a large buffet style restaurant. We had a lovely room on the 10th floor overlooking the sea. We found all the staff to be very friendly. The restaurant staff worked extremely hard to clear tables and maintain the buffet. What can I say, another wonderful stay at the Santa Maria. All the staff offer first class service and nothing seems to be too much trouble. Rooms, food and drink are all above the standard of what you'd expect from a 3 star Spanish hotel. Location is where you'd want to be with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, it's also only a 5 minute walk from La Pinta beach.

It was a great stay. the cleanliness was good, the facilities were great, the food was delicious and lovely live music. I had a really nice studio with everything you need. The staff was friendly.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights with our family and overall the experience was okay. The pool water was quite cold, even in the heated pool.
