In its day this was probably a very good hotel but sadly rooms are getting a little shabby with damage fixtures and fittings.In a 11 day stay there was no attempt to change bedding or clean room  The air-conditioning worked but looked like it had not been cleaned or serviced in a long time with some staining on wall from leaks. This hotel is super easy to find, right near Tha Phae Gate in the Old City. The common areas are really relaxing and inviting, and the rooms have all the essentials like AC, a shower, and a fridge. The staff are also very friendly and enthusiastic! 👍 Most importantly, the price is really reasonable and affordable. It's a great choice for anyone just looking for a place to rest and sleep!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff provided excellent service and were always welcoming and helpful. Located outside the city, cleanliness is acceptable.

Overall, I liked it because the room was large and beautiful, and the service was excellent, but that's typical of Thais. The location is obviously a bit far from the city, but that doesn't matter because we already knew that. The tranquility is out of this world, though. Our 3-night stay at The Chiangmai Riverside Hotel was a truly memorable experience. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite (Vorra Kamol) which is nicely decorated and fully equipped. It is a clean hotel. The biggest problem is the window is locked and cannot be opened. You have to turn on the Aircon whenever you are in the room. The bathroom is very small, when you shower, the toilet bowl and whole floor get wet.

Located in the north-eastern part, outside the old town, about 1.2km to The Phae Gate. Room size is larger than newer hotels. It is an old hotel at a reasonable room rate, so need to manage your expectations.

The staff are all very friendly, and it's spacious and not crowded, so you can relax. There are plenty of shops nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat or drink. It's also very close to Ong Thai Massage School.

I stay here for one month. The staff was always kind and caring. The room was big. The area is good. Furnitures a bit old. The only thing they should improve, the internet connection. Mosquitos are unavoidable in Chiang Mai, but in the rooms it was excessive. A plug-in repellant device from the staff fixed that problem. Location great for proximity to highway and mall, but no tuk tuks or easily walkable services nearby. No laundry on site. 6 star staff! They accommodated my family with young children, as well as my coworkers, exceptionally!

People are lovely, it’s so nice with all the green and the pool area is beautiful. But… AC is loud and the fan has only has one setting Pool is saturated with chlorine to the point it feels oily. They keep on adding pallets every couple of days.

Very good value for money. Clean, specious and bright room. I give four instead of five stars for old towels, lack of pool towels and pool surroundings could be cleaned up from leaves more often. The pool on its own was clean. I have also asked three times for a kettle but it has never been given. Even though I would book it again.
