Always stay here …. Good value…. Clean enough….staffs are helpful what else you need for this price 😊
In its day this was probably a very good hotel but sadly rooms are getting a little shabby with damage fixtures and fittings. In a 11 day stay there was no attempt to change bedding or clean room  The air-conditioning worked but looked like it had not been cleaned or serviced in a long time with some staining on wall from leaks. Not all the lights worked with only one switch by the door to operate them...
This hotel is super easy to find, right near Tha Phae Gate in the Old City. The common areas are really relaxing and inviting, and the rooms have all the essentials like AC, a shower, and a fridge. The staff are also very friendly and enthusiastic! 👍 Most importantly, the price is really reasonable and affordable. It's a great choice for anyone just looking for a place to rest and sleep!
Good location and easy to communicate with workers. They have sooooooooooooo many activity flyers, it is impossible to not find something cool to do in chiangmai
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff provided excellent service and were always welcoming and helpful. Everything was well organized, and I felt relaxed during my stay. The facilities and overall service were very good. I truly enjoyed my time here and would happily return in the future.
It's an old, run-down hotel. This three-star hotel is more like a hostel than a hotel. The room wasn't clean upon arrival. I also didn't feel comfortable or safe there, due to the presence of some young, aggressive partygoers. Security is nonexistent; the police aren't called if someone attacks you. The night watchman and security guard do nothing. The most beautiful thing in the hotel was the morning...

The breakfast was very limited. The air conditioning was good.
The room is well decorated, spacious and super clean (love that comfortable bed), welcome drink free. Helpful and staff were very attentive during my stay. Hidden gems 💎!! Highly recommended. :)
Located outside the city, cleanliness is acceptable.
Overall, I liked it because the room was large and beautiful, and the service was excellent, but that's typical of Thais. The location is obviously a bit far from the city, but that doesn't matter because we already knew that. The tranquility is out of this world, though. If I returned to Chiang Mai and brought my girlfriend, I'd rent a car, and this hotel would be out of this world.
The hotel room is very large, being assigned to the room next to the pool, you can walk directly from the room out to the pool, the environment is good, the location is not too remote, but in and out must have a car or order Grab, nearby 7-11, and a stall of grilled chicken, walk farther a few restaurants! The pool is not too small, the water depth is from 1.2m to 1.8m, there are no lifeguards, be...

If you are looking for cozy boutique hotel, this is one for you. Their service are very good especially front deck ms cartoon and ms day. I book direct with the hotel so I got daily laundry ( few pcs) for free, daily breakfast and mini bar all included. Parking is not an issue if you drive. Near by here has got a night market which is only 10mins drive. And lot of nice cafe near by. When I check...
This hotel is suitable for families. The rooms are spacious, the environment is great, and the view is beautiful. We were quite satisfied with all aspects. However, it's best to have your own car if you stay here. We drove from Bangkok, and having a car made getting around very convenient. Without a car, the location might be a bit remote, and you'd need to call a taxi to get around. Breakfast is ordered...
This place is AMAZING! We spent 3 nights there and really enjoyed everything. The room was spacious and clean, the swimming pool was nice with a kids area, and the restaurant was very good. The breakfast was amazing too, you pre-order everything the evening before and they make it ready the next morning for you (pancakes, noodles, pastas,…). We also ate there at lunch and the food was delicious. The...
We had a great stay at the hotel. Room was very spacious and well decorated. Staff were great and so was the breakfast.
Our 3-night stay at The Chiangmai Riverside Hotel was a truly memorable experience. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite (Vorra Kamol) which is nicely decorated and fully equipped. Staff were very attentive to all our requests. Breakfast was very good with variety of menu. The location is also great, only 10 minutes drive to airport and to city centre. Will definitely come back.
I stayed in The Chiang Mai Riversid Hotel from 30 Nov to 03 Dec 2025 the hotel is Great Thai Hotel, Highly complementing the staff at this hotel, they are welcoming, sincere, formative, attractive and attentive and helpful. Stayed for 4 nights here and loved the hotel. Spotless clean everywhere and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Location was very good and we walked into the Old City and Nimman from the hotel. The only problem we found was that the local taxi drivers couldn’t find the hotel and we ended up walking from the main road on many occasions. Could possibly have some signage on the entrance to the...
Sabai Sabai Chaingmai Hotel as a boutique hotel. I would recommend the high quality service, quite and clean. We booked for 5 nights including breakfast. The option of breakfast not to much but enough for everyone, delicious and serving 6.30-10.00 am The pool also good and have a small gyms. The lobby have a free coffee and water and snacks for the guest. The hotel have parking and rental scooter...
Good points: - Great Location: relatively short walk to the old town and in a quiet part of central Chiang Mai. - Big Rooms: we had a suite and it was enormous, with two bathrooms and loads of space. - Cheap: we chose this hotel as it seemed like a steal for the price, and it does make for a great budget option. Bad points: Poor Service: there was pretty much no customer service at all. At no...
A very quaint, colonial style hotel tucked away in an alley in between Nimman and Old City. The hotel is really quiet as it is far from main road and rooms face a village. Room is clean and has everything one needs. Staff are friendly and helpful - they even didn’t charge me for losing a room key. There are also many authentic restaurants around that are cheaper than in the tourist center.
The location is very convenient, yet it’s a quiet place right in the middle of town. There is ample parking, which is a big plus. Although the hotel doesn’t offer fancy services, everything is simple, comfortable, and perfectly adequate. What I like most is that it feels more like an art gallery than a hotel—each room and hallway features unique paintings. Overall, it’s good value for money, with the...

Overall, the hotel is pretty good. The pool is huge, but sometimes non-guests, particularly foreigners, use it. In the room, there was a crack and a dent in the floor, which was quite uncomfortable. The most uncomfortable thing was that there was only one pair of very heavy flip-flops provided, which were really unpleasant to wear. Perhaps these are custom-made for foreign guests. The breakfast was...
Very beautiful and spacious hotel we really love the presidential suite for our family of 4. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We also love the pool which is beautiful. Breakfast is really nice with lots of selection. Many great restaurants and massage place within short walk of hotel.
My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is lovely with its polished teak wood interior and traditional carvings. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous, with a variety of local dishes and western choices. A tuk-tuk ride will usually cost about 100 Baht or less. Surprisingly, Grab rides are even less expensive. But the...
Great hotel in the heart of Chiang Mai. Easy walk to multiple temples, restaurants, and convenience stores. Rooms were of great quality, very clean and maintained by staff daily if desired. Pool was also very clean and a great place to cool off from the Thai heat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was top notch.
Great stay at this hotel and the hotel was beautiful!
We stayed at Pingviman Hotel for a week and really enjoyed our time. The rooms are huge and spacious, with coffee, water, a tea kettle, and a fridge. The showers and tubs were oversized, which made it a comfortable home base during our travels. Its the second time im staying in this place, the rooms are big and clean though not much sunlight but it's alright in a way. The downside is that the fan in the bathroom when it's lit for longer time I kind of brings smells from other bathrooms!? Sooo, yes that's a bit bad, also for some reason I couldn't connect my laptop to the Internet there as it is a one time password Internet option. That made...
I checked out of this hotel this morning after staying for 10 nights, and it was a great experience. The hotel is located right in the city center, so it’s very convenient to walk to many places. Although breakfast was not included when I booked, the hotel kindly provided a small complimentary breakfast every day. It was good enough to give me some energy before going out. If you prefer other options...
Compared to hotels in China, this one is definitely a step down from a 'Ji Hotel' (a popular chain). I specifically chose this place because I didn't want a fancy pool, and it's conveniently located since the Old City isn't that big. Many hotels in Chiang Mai have strict no-cancellation policies, so you just have to watch prices go up. Honestly, if this hotel costs over 300, it's not really worth it...
The room is located within the old city. When checking in, you can grab some snacks. The front desk staff can speak Chinese. Many people were having breakfast in the lobby on the first floor, which I assume is an additional charge.
Counter and service staff are very polite and helpful The hotel is situated near many attractions and eateries.
The room I stayed in had very little natural light, so I constantly had to use artificial lighting. After every shower, a large puddle of water remained on the bathroom floor, which took a long time to dry and caused a damp smell. The plumbing also had strange water pressure and made noticeable noise when the shower was turned on. The hotel has a good location, but there appears to be a school or...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Really like the spacious room. It’s clean. We didn’t take the breakfast. Plenty of food options nearby. Lotus, 7-11, ATMs, massage place are within 1 minute walks. The reception team is very helpful too
Great location right at the heart of Nimman where all the fun things are happening. The Friday walking market is literally at the doorstep of this place. One nimman and Maya just a few mins walk away and short walk away from really cool bars and eateries. The room is clean. Requested for a quiet room but was given a corner room facing the main road. Additionally, the insulation has worn off so be ready...
Central location - so super convenient if it’s your first time in town and want to get a sense of Nimman. We asked for a quiet room, and were given a corner room facing the main street 😂 Insulation is terrible, there were gaps between the rubber seal of the sliding doors and windows. So bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Water pressure is equally terrible. Wear and tear of the place is visible...
Huge space. Good location, good amenities nearby, 7-11, self laundry, eateries right below.
In the centre of Chiang Mai with activities galore. Spacious ,clean rooms. Close proximity to shopping, food, bars, massages and the airport(8km away). But flyovers by planes can be a concern. A word of caution..avoid rooms facing the main street; can be rather noisy. Higher floors are recommended. Dec, Jan, Feb great months to visit.

The hotel environment is quite beautiful, and it's very comfortable for swimming and sunbathing. The breakfast tastes pretty good, but the air conditioning in the room is too loud and a bit noisy.
I travel full-time and go from one hotel to the next. I was so pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the common areas were furnished with antiques. Also, it was like a little paradise garde. Around the pool. The owner has such a great eye for design and I just loved being surrounded with the peaceful vibe. Location was great, too. Walkable in so many directions. I'd definitely stay here again.
Amazing. Beautiful gardens. Lovely pool. Zen. Atmospheric. Close to everything. Highly recommend.
The room wasn't huge, but it was really clean, and the service was super friendly. Breakfast was pretty good too. Overall good services with a good location.
Have a pleasant stay in this nicely designed hotel, with swimming pool, greenery all around much like living in a garden. Good breakfast location for a price of 109 baht overlooking the openness of greenery. The gentleman in charge of the kitchen Aon was very jovial and helpful to guests. Room is extremely clean and well maintained. A real bargain for any guests to choose it.
Great spot. Massage and laundry very close. Quiet location <100 bust to almost anywhere by grab.
Good location, but hotel is clearly becoming old and not so well maintained Swimming pool is the best of this hotel Cleaning would be a bit more extensive
The hotel is good and new with amazing stuff at a good price It's not my first time staying in a hotel and I hope to come again
It is a clean hotel. The biggest problem is the window is locked and cannot be opened. You have to turn on the Aircon whenever you are in the room. The bathroom is very small, when you shower, the toilet bowl and whole floor get wet.

We had a pleasant stay at Royal Peninsula Hotel Chiang Mai. The location is excellent and very convenient to get around. The staff were friendly and kind, and we were able to get an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were good for the price. Overall, a good hotel and great value for couples.
Location of the hotel is near north east.. close to famous shabu buffet as per photo… swimming pool is great for sun tan.. near one gym which is 100 bath for day pass… hotel is great value for money.. walking distance to night market and old town
Located in the north-eastern part, outside the old town, about 1.2km to The Phae Gate. Room size is larger than newer hotels. It is an old hotel at a reasonable room rate, so need to manage your expectations.
WiFi very bad, everything else quite good, staff were helpful

The Wi-Fi wasn't working, and the showerhead was barely hanging on. Overall, it left an average impression.
The hotel felt a bit old and could use some renovation. The rooms lacked power outlets, and the AC wasn't very strong. The decor was dated, reminiscent of old-fashioned hotels, and it felt a little eerie at night. The price didn't really match the value, and the soundproofing wasn't great.
Everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly.
The hotel is old and the environment is terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. The price is also very high; I simply can't accept it.
The staff are all very friendly, and it's spacious and not crowded, so you can relax. There are plenty of shops nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat or drink. It's also very close to Ong Thai Massage School.
I stay here for one month. The staff was always kind and caring. The room was big. The area is good. Furnitures a bit old. The only thing they should improve, the internet connection. Many times the internet connection was useless, so I have to buy mobil internet card, if I wanted to use internet in my hotel room. Otherwise, this is a nice place for longer staying.

If you’re looking for privacy and a quiet place to unwind while still being close to everything in the city, this hotel is a great choice. Highly recommended.
Great hotel in the edge of the old town wall. Slightly noisy due to the traffic and surroundings compared to some other accommodation within the old city but not enough to bother me. Amazing attentive staff, free snacks! And I got an upgrade to a larger room. An old hotel that still has its charm. Great for unpretentious travellers looking for simple yet comfortable accommodation. And the pool is so lovely!
People are lovely, it’s so nice with all the green and the pool area is beautiful. But… AC is loud and the fan has only has one setting Pool is saturated with chlorine to the point it feels oily. They keep on adding pallets every couple of days.
Convenient location and the room was clean and comfortable
Very good value for money. Clean, specious and bright room. I give four instead of five stars for old towels, lack of pool towels and pool surroundings could be cleaned up from leaves more often. Good for the price. The breakfast is simple but enough. Good wi fi.
I like this hotel for the location and the service provided. The room is clean and equipped with everything that I required. The location is near phae gate and all the sat/sun night market.
