It was near Central Festival and had spacious room. It served the purpose for me, but if you are a tourist, this hotel is too far from the attractions.

Nice place but a bit far from the city. There’s a coffee shop outside also. The pool wasn’t cleaned but it’s okay if you are not really a fan of swimming since it was cold season.😆 Great value for money 💸

Located on the very edge of the old part of the city just within the moat. The hotel is good value for money but i found the rooms very dark and claustrophobic. The rooms were decent - bed was HUGE! The lobby and walking areas have zero AC and a bit of an unsavory smell, but the people and location make up for it. It wasn’t a place with great facilities or a well-prepared breakfast. The swimming pool was also quite small. However, the staff were truly hardworking and very kind. We had a pleasant stay with our 4-year-old child.

This hotel in the ancient city is very quiet, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They wished me 'Happy Chinese New Year' every day of my stay, which was such a warm touch! The hotel is close to Chiang Mai University and the zoo, and it is also convenient to visit important places. Overall, I was very impressed.

Not all rooms had a refrigerator. Additionally, there was no kettle to make tea or coffee, nor was there any ice available for drinking water. Bottled water was provided in the room, and additional bottles could be picked up at the entrance. The bathroom lacked a shower screen or curtain, which caused water to spread across the bathroom floor.

This is a quaint hotel right outside of the southern gate to the Old City. The location is great if you want to explore the old City on foot and it's close to the airport too. There's a small pool out front, which was surprising for a place this size, but it was nice. The restaurant also has a great breakfast offering each morning.

Don't let the turn down a dead end street fool you. It is a nice mid-range hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and polite. They speak english. The food at breakfast is very good as well. The hotel is about 700m from the old city. The room was quite spacious and the air conditioning was nice and cold. It's located on a street with a few bars, and there are one or two money changers nearby with pretty good exchange rates.

The common areas are spacious and quite good. However, the bathrooms are a bit subpar, with very basic, unfinished decor. The beds are average, and the privacy curtains aren't very effective, and the quality isn't great either. On the upside, all the dining options are really good!

Being able to watch the sunrise was an unexpected bonus. The 8th-floor terrace was perfect for both drying clothes and enjoying the sunrise and sunset. It's a shame the guests didn't really interact much; their schedules didn't align, and everyone seemed to be just passing through.

Everything was good but not great. All in all, breakfast and free-flow of drinks and snacks were very good. The room is nice but the interior and furniture are not that practical/ well-fit to the room and its usage. Parking is limited. I booked 'away from the elevator' but I've got the room right next to the elevator! Not sure if they misunderstood my requirement or they were sarcastic.

The room was surprisingly clean and spacious. We received complimentary breakfast with our stay, but only tried it once during our three days as there are so many better food options to explore in Thailand. The only downside was the significant airplane noise, as we were directly under a flight path, but we eventually got used to it.

Due to high season, we had to switch rooms mid-stay to an Executive King, which was quite spacious. It had a large bathtub on one half of the balcony. The room was in a corner, so the window view wasn't great. There were ants in several spots in the room; staff promptly took care of it, but new ants appeared again shortly after. If you don't need a bathtub, I'd recommend the Deluxe room instead.

Musty smell Drilling could be heard early morning and throughout daytime. No discount given for one occupant for breakfast was unfair. No tea and coffee making facilities. Had to take own luggage to room. Not very good English by staff so difficult to communicate

Location is good at Nimmanhemin Road. Parking is available but limited. The room is super big, very convenient for family, separate bed room from living room. I was quite satisfied with The Deer Resort. Its location in Hang Dong is very convenient, and since I booked a family room, having a balcony was a great bonus. If I visit Hang Dong, Chiang Mai again, I would definitely choose The Deer Resort.

celebrated my dad’s 73 birthday here! he said out of 10 hotels we stayed at this is “Heaven on earth”. The pool is HUGE, the area is immaculately cared for, rooms are spacious and the LEGO and wide selection of books in the lobby, make me wish we stayed here for the whole month!

The location is super convenient, right near Tha Phae Gate. I've stayed here many times before. There are lots of night markets nearby, so finding food is really easy. The service is great, very polite. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Chiang Mai.

very clean room. the convenience store is just downstairs and makes you keeping checking out Thai snacks. a few doors away you also have a respectable spa to get late night massages. no noise from main street but you sometimes hear sound from the water pipes.

The hotel is in a superb location near to cafes, restaurants, night bazaar, etc. The room is decent in size, clean and most importantly, quiet. The front desk staff and bell boy can converse in English and made my stay a pleasant one. I will like to return to this hotel for my accommodation on my next trip to Chiengmai.
