The Greenery Central Suites, Chiang Mai City1 / 7
8.3
Chiang Mai City, 171 Moo 2 (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It was near Central Festival and had spacious room. It served the purpose for me, but if you are a tourist, this hotel is too far from the attractions.
Nice place but a bit far from the city. There’s a coffee shop outside also. The pool wasn’t cleaned but it’s okay if you are not really a fan of swimming since it was cold season.😆 Great value for money 💸
Great location for shopping, food and bars, bus terminal 2 & 3 are quite near as well.
Pro pool, gym, laundry. Con extra firm bed and charger for extra pillows and blankets
Apartment with Bathtub, big room
Overall, the room/bathroom is spacious, friendly staff with reasonable price. Although, towels and hand towels are unacceptable (I have attached some photos).

Chiang Mai City, 81/1 Arak Road Lane 1 Tambon Phrasing, Amphoe Muang (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Located on the very edge of the old part of the city just within the moat. The hotel is good value for money but i found the rooms very dark and claustrophobic. The deluxe rooms do look onto a brick wall. There is no natural daylight so even if you do open the window there is no fresh air. The rooms are cleaned daily. 2 bottles of water daily and fresh towels. The room needs a little bit of extra care...
I stayed here with a group of friends in November, and we thought it was a great value. -we stayed in the Superior Twin Rooms and Deluxe Double Rooms. Both are spacious, but if you have the money, go with the Deluxe room. It seems to be in a newer part of the hotel. - large windows (especially like the window in the bathroom) - huge bathrooms - great for traveling as a group as they have plenty of...
The rooms were decent - bed was HUGE! The lobby and walking areas have zero AC and a bit of an unsavory smell, but the people and location make up for it. This isn’t a 5 star hotel, but it was perfect for what we were looking for - a clean, comfortable authentic Thai hotel experience nicely priced with great access to everything!
I stayed here in July 2025. The Guest Arak Boutique Hotel is basic, but very good value for money. For 900 baht a night, I got a comfortable, spacious room with thoughtful touches. It’s not perfect — the décor is dated, noise can be an issue, and the bathroom needs work. But overall, I’d recommend it for budget travelers looking for a convenient base in Chiang Mai. For my full review, check out my...
The staff was great! They made up for the hotel itself. This was a tough one because I don't like giving low reviews. But there are too many issues to overlook. The room, as soon as we walked in, mosquitoes were all over. We killed 12 in 10 minutes. Not sure where they were coming from. Bathroom drain? Cleanliness. The bathroom sink base, and shower corners had mold. It just didn't look clean. The...
Room looked great in the pictures. Maybe a tad over priced for how nice it actually is. This is a great option you can see alot in town within walking distance of this hotel. 20 minute walk will get you to most cool things in town. They do offer a breakfast with the room. However there is lots of good places to eat within a 7 minute walk. Also no more than 150 baht for a tuk tuk from the hotel...

Excellent hotel. Great location and very nice breakfast. We will stay here again.
I-wualai is simply fantastic. The room is clean n spacious, breakfast was amazing especially the taco. Also free flow of bottles of water and free coffee, snacks n etc from 2pm - 6pm. Highly recommended if anyone wish to visit Chiangmai and stay for a week. Absolutely Worth the value
A really nice hotel, location was great as well, though we missed the Wualai Saturday street, so we can’t comment on that. For the price it’s really a great value. We were also greeted by really good front desk service staff when we checked in. The rooms were very clean, though 1 of the rooms had a musty smell. Breakfast variety were changed daily, and it’s tasty. Highly recommend this hotel if you...
Amazing staff. The girls are the best. Great breakfast. Many vegetarian options Good amenities. Thanks.
It wasn’t a place with great facilities or a well-prepared breakfast. The swimming pool was also quite small. However, the staff were truly hardworking and very kind. We had a pleasant stay with our 4-year-old child.

We were warmly welcomed by Henry and JP. So friendly and courteous, serving us with their big smiles at all times.  The room was clean, modern, and super cozy. Loved the peaceful, adults-only atmosphere, perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway.  Every morning was greeted by cheerfulness and smiles from every staff member. The breakfast spread never failed to entice our palates with the variety to...
This hotel in the ancient city is very quiet, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They wished me 'Happy Chinese New Year' every day of my stay, which was such a warm touch! Plus, there are two adorable cats at the hotel, serving as the front desk and doorman respectively. There's also an excellent massage place just a three-minute walk from the hotel.
Very comfortable hotel with all you need. breakfast was good we have to leave early than starting time but we could eat some before so that was great and snack and drinks offers 24/7. Room is clean and easy access.
There's a lounge in the lobby where you can enjoy tea 24/7 and even grab some light snacks, which is really relaxing. You can also drink as much bottled water as you like. The breakfast menu shows a lot of thoughtful consideration. All the staff members are incredibly kind and friendly. While the room isn't large, the layout is so well-designed that it doesn't feel cramped at all. I'd definitely...
stayed for 7 nights at BED. Delicious Breakfast was buffet and changed daily. Coffee, fruit and water was available all day. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Location was central. Our twin bed room was small with not enough shelf space to put things and only place to put one suitcase was on the writing bench. The owner could hang narrow shelves on the wall so travellers can put things there...
Was such a wonderful stay! Shouts out to all the staff for being so helpful and friendly! Location is great and close to many spots in the city.; Room is clean and got everything you need; breakfast is awesome and changes every day. Will definitely come back when visiting Chiang Mai again!

While a bit dated, the hotel generally offers good value for money. My unpleasant experience happened during checkout when the front desk staff went to inspect the room and then came back holding a white bedsheet, claiming it had brown stains. I immediately replayed everything in my mind, certain there was no way such fresh stains could have appeared. I hadn't worn makeup or been on my period during...

Shane Hotel in Chiang Mai is such a great place to stay! The rooms are clean, comfy, and spacious, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. The hotel is close to Chiang Mai University and the zoo, and it is also convenient to visit important places. Overall, I was very impressed.
Not all rooms had a refrigerator. Additionally, there was no kettle to make tea or coffee, nor was there any ice available for drinking water. Bottled water was provided in the room, and additional bottles could be picked up at the entrance. The bathroom lacked a shower screen or curtain, which caused water to spread across the bathroom floor.

Great spot , nice facilities , great location very easy walk to night markets and great food/restaurants nearby .  Staff are great , rooms are clean and nice .

We stayed here 11 nights and it was an overall very pleasant experience. The room is big, the beds comfortable and the bathroom all good with everything working. It's a very clean hotel. The swimming pool is large and pleasant. The staff are all very friendly. Breakfast is with a menu you can choose from and it comes with fruit and a piece of cake. Many good restaurants literally around the corner...
The hotel has a nice environment, a swimming pool and gym. The breakfast selection is limited but delicious. There is a Warorot Street Market nearby, where shopping is cheap. I would come again next time.
A historic restaurant with distinctive features: solid wood furniture paired with heavy marble floors and tabletops. The environment is very clean, and the hot water is strong, making for a comfortable shower. Conveniently located, it's only a 10-minute walk from the bustling Warorot Market. A quiet oasis amidst the city's vibrancy. The breakfast is plentiful.

Room is clean Breakfast is delicious. Staffs are helpful. I had a fall in the hotel and they were fast to response and reached out. Cats are beautiful and can see that the Staffs care for them alot.
A well-located hostel right in the heart of the city. It’s exceptionally clean, and the staff are warm and welcoming. A thoughtful touch is the availability of water, tea, coffee, and fruits throughout the day. Bike rentals are also conveniently available at the entrance. The room felt slightly claustrophobic despite booking the pool access option—better lighting might help improve the atmosphere...
At a very convenient location with friendly staff. Quiet surroundings. Breakfast is good with varieties. If you want to stay close to old city of Chiang Mai then this hotel is highly recommended.

Parking is sufficient and convenient. Most guests are international backpackers, which creates a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is tasty and well-portioned — simple but satisfying. The hotel is also very well located, only about...
Nice hotel with a lovely pool. Rooms spacious, a decent sized bed. Staff at reception were really helpful and answered any questions. A large array of brochures for attractions and activities around the city. One gripe is that we read reply’s to other guests questions saying that there were smart tvs in all rooms. Not in our case there wasn’t but wasn’t a big problem really
First time in Chiang Mai, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were lovely and clean! Pool was very nice to dip off and cool down in and the balcony was a great spot to sunbath with a book. Would recommend and definitely stay again!
I had a wonderful time staying here!! The staff are super helpful and friendly. The room is spacious and clean. I got nothing to complain about. This is a quaint hotel right outside of the southern gate to the Old City. The location is great if you want to explore the old City on foot and it's close to the airport too. There's a small pool out front, which was surprising for a place this size, but it was nice. The restaurant also has a great breakfast offering each morning.
Don't let the turn down a dead end street fool you. It is a nice mid-range hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and polite. They speak english. The food at breakfast is very good as well. The rooms are adequate in size with air conditioning and a private bath. Our room came with a TV, hair dryer, mini fridge, and safe. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Strategic location. I took a pic from my balcony’s room and i can see city view of chiang mai. Love it!
Good hostel. But the bed is not comfort to me. It’s okey to stay few days with very cheap price
The hotel is about 700m from the old city. The room was quite spacious and the air conditioning was nice and cold. It's located on a street with a few bars, and there are one or two money changers nearby with pretty good exchange rates.
The common areas are spacious and quite good. However, the bathrooms are a bit subpar, with very basic, unfinished decor. The beds are average, and the privacy curtains aren't very effective, and the quality isn't great either. On the upside, all the dining options are really good!
This hotel is very affordable for my 3 nights stay in Chiang Mai. I like the location as there's a nearby 7 Eleven, walking distance to night market & Phae Gate. Easy to pin location on your e-hailing service apps. Another plus point, its only 15 mins away from the airport by car. The hotel room is simple, and complete with basic amenities. Acceptable cleanliness and the toilet works all fine. There...
Being able to watch the sunrise was an unexpected bonus. The 8th-floor terrace was perfect for both drying clothes and enjoying the sunrise and sunset. It's a shame the guests didn't really interact much; their schedules didn't align, and everyone seemed to be just passing through.

Clean and comfort... location is good. Everything is good but should improve the taste of breakfast..
The free daily coffee is a huge plus for serious coffee lovers, and the breakfast is perfectly acceptable – not lavish, but enough to fill you up every morning. The hotel's location is super convenient; you can walk to many places for meals, like the Thai restaurants recommended on Xiaohongshu (e.g., Phong Phu** Chicken Rice, Chiang Mai Madam Thai Restaurant…), all within a few to ten-odd minutes....
The front desk staff were very helpful and even let us check in early. The room was quite spacious and bright. There's a pool right outside, but unfortunately, I didn't have time to try it out.
Located abit of walking distance to center. Small room but with everything.
• Great location, very close to restaurants and public transport. • Clean and comfortable rooms with modern design. • Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at the reception. • Good value for money compared to other hotels in the area.
Everything was good but not great. All in all, breakfast and free-flow of drinks and snacks were very good. The room is nice but the interior and furniture are not that practical/ well-fit to the room and its usage. Parking is limited. I booked 'away from the elevator' but I've got the room right next to the elevator! Not sure if they misunderstood my requirement or they were sarcastic.

Great location, but the facilities are a bit dated. The pool, however, was very clean.
The room was incredibly comfortable, with a lovely antique charm and it was spotlessly clean. The staff were exceptionally warm and polite. The location is excellent, making it super convenient for dining and shopping.
very helpful staff. very good service. just a little suggestion to add more of breakfast variety. it's very basic
The room was surprisingly clean and spacious. We received complimentary breakfast with our stay, but only tried it once during our three days as there are so many better food options to explore in Thailand. The only downside was the significant airplane noise, as we were directly under a flight path, but we eventually got used to it.
Due to high season, we had to switch rooms mid-stay to an Executive King, which was quite spacious. It had a large bathtub on one half of the balcony. The room was in a corner, so the window view wasn't great. There were ants in several spots in the room; staff promptly took care of it, but new ants appeared again shortly after. If you don't need a bathtub, I'd recommend the Deluxe room instead.
Near to One Ninman and Maya Shopping Mall. Eateries within walking distance all around. Easy to walk to various night markets. Scenic hotel premises.

Chose this hotel for the location and bigger room size and it did not disappoint us. Aircon is ok, hot water ok but pressure a bit weak. Conveniently located in Nimman.
Location is good at Nimmanhemin Road. Parking is available but limited. The room is super big, very convenient for family, separate bed room from living room. However, due to this hotel is near to Airport and surround with restaurant and pub, the sound at night might be loud. Breakfast served as a set (set A-D) good and enough.

It’s our second time in Chiangmai, stayed here in 2022 and came back to stay this year as well. We love the central location - from the 7/11 just right downstairs to local market (staff recommended) / food streets all around the hotel! The room is clean, staff are all friendly as well! Really enjoyed our stay here!
very clean room. the convenience store is just downstairs and makes you keeping checking out Thai snacks. a few doors away you also have a respectable spa to get late night massages. no noise from main street but you sometimes hear sound from the water pipes.
The hotel is in a superb location near to cafes, restaurants, night bazaar, etc. The room is decent in size, clean and most importantly, quiet. The front desk staff and bell boy can converse in English and made my stay a pleasant one. I will like to return to this hotel for my accommodation on my next trip to Chiengmai.
Location are magnificently on the dot of all popular places. Service and information are excellent and warm. Stay experience are very close to 5 stars hotel. Room design were surprisingly huge for a standard couple room. Will recommend and may come back to this great hospitality.
