Phuket, Layan Beach, 168 Moo 6, Layan Beach Soi 4 🧭 Map
We stayed at the Anantara Layan Residence in a six-bedroom villa with a private pool, a small gym, and a spa all within the villa. The facilities were outstanding. We had two butlers, Sao and Eye, and the service they provided was exceptional. The chef’s food was also delicious.
The hotel’s spa was lovely, and there are plenty of activities available, including clay modelling, skating, archery, tennis...
The best hotel at the Phuket on my opinion. Thank you for everything.
Good time with wife
Zuma delicious
Very recommend this hotel and restaurant for visit
Anantara Layan Phuket is truly one of those rare places I’d return to without a second thought. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and private — a perfect sanctuary for those seeking calm and relaxation.
Mornings here are a dream. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, especially with the delightful option of starting the day with a sparkling wine or mimosa. Why not indulge a little when you’re surrounded...
Hotel has a private beach club, villas on beach front, best restaurants, spa, pools, sport clubs. No need to go out)
Great place, loved the room and alm the pools

The service was absolutely terrible. The front desk supervisor was rude and completely disregarded our feelings as guests. We had already checked in and stayed one night, but on the second day, because one guest hadn't arrived to check in yet, they stopped us from entering the room. It was a very disappointing experience!
My best stay in phuket by far. this resort was out of mind. make sure to enjoy it. and use some replant for the mosquitos.
The service was just okay; they didn't even bother to tell us about the hotel facilities or give us a map. Overall, the lobby staff weren't very welcoming. The room's amenities probably aren't as well-maintained as they appear in the promotional photos, and the pillows were a bit too high and firm.
This beachfront hotel was absolutely divine during my Phuket trip – a perfect 10 out of 10, no doubt!
The most amazing thing was its private coastline. It completely dodged the crowds of Phuket's popular beaches. With fine white sand beneath your feet and an endless blue sea before your eyes, whether watching the sunrise in the morning or listening to the waves at dusk, you get to exclusively enjoy...
Incredible stay - we really enjoyed ourselves and the service was excellent.
The environment is beautiful, especially by the sea, with the infinity pool and the restaurant offering unbeatable ocean views after dinner. However, the room facilities are quite old; the floors and sofas, among other things, are very worn out. On the second morning of our stay, the fire alarm went off twice for no apparent reason, and then the hotel's generator was constantly noisy on the second...

We had a fantastic experience at The State. The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do more to help. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the food in general. The rooms were absolutely incredible. Gym really good quality.
The multiple pools were a real highlight! The cold towels, fruit skewers etc throughout the day by the pool too were amazing!
Overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely return
Excellent! Service is polte and quick. Rooms are lovely. We stayed in the villa with pool. Such a refreshing retreat from cold winter back home. They also have great excursion bookings and well. The food is fabulous!
I stayed at this hotel last week and had an overall fantastic experience. The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, cheerful, and eager to help — their service truly made my stay special. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the wine selection complemented the meals perfectly.
The only downside...
We loved our stay at The Slate! It’s part of the same group as the Public House Hotel in Bangkok, which we already loved and, once again, everything was perfect. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the whole property is beautifully designed and every little detail matches the hotel’s unique style.
The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the facilities are amazing: three different pools, all...
We were back at The Slate again. This was definitely our eighth or maybe even ninth stay, and we always love coming back. Sure, the journey from Europe takes a long time, but The Slate is always worth it.
We always choose a Private Pool Suite and were delighted again this year. Great room and a great garden with a private pool. The garden is partially covered and has a wide daybed, so you can enjoy...
Our stay at The Slate was perfect. I can honestly say I cannot find a single fault in this hotel. The staff are incredible, so accommodating and helpful. The room was beautiful, and the whole environment of the hotel is tranquil. There is enough nearby that you can enjoy meals out, and our meal at The Black Ginger was delicious and such a good experience. I am sad that our stay came to an end, although...

Such a Lovely stay that I extended another week. Love the community cats 🤎
Nice hotel by the beach. The location is a bit remote but the service is very good
I stayed at Selina for 4 nights, shared with 6 lovely girls and it was incredibly nice. The room was spacious and it’s cleaned everyday . The breakfast is great and there is variety of food. It’s peaceful, fun and the view by the pool side is breathtaking but if you are on the go and exploring Thailand, it’s a bit far from the center of the attractions hence I moved to patong but other than that...
Located in the south, it's over an hour's drive from the airport if there's no traffic. Breakfast was decent, and it's a good spot to spend some time with young friends.
Wow! Absolutely incredible. Selina Serenity is a lovely place to stay at. They organize a lot of activities which you can join and the view at the pool is just a 10/10. Definitely gonna miss this place.
I had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel and will 100% be back. It’s a bit far from the airport but once you get past that you’re in a great location. It’s got a mix of hotel resort and hostel vibe so you can do your own thing or you can do activities each day and make lots of friends. It was really perfect for a solo traveler. Beautiful villa and very nice staff. My kids enjoyed the pool, beautiful sunrise view and buggy rides.
The rooms are fantastic, clean, and hygienic. They offer a dedicated shuttle service, and the sea-view rooms are spacious with incredible views. Each room comes with its own private pool, the breakfast spread is generous, and the dining service is excellent.
1. The service was quite good, as the rooms are halfway up the hill, they offer buggy pick-up and drop-off.
2. The concierge service was excellent, very proactive with luggage, making check-in a breeze.
3. The soundproofing was great, allowing for a quiet and relaxing vacation.
4. The Starbucks at the top of the hill has amazing views, and you can simply call a car to take you up there.

Highly recommend the Sinae Phuket. We started our Phuket visit on the other coast at a high end resort which was lovely but loud and crowded. After leaving there we loved the peace and quiet at the Sinae. The grounds were beautiful, and we loved watching the sunrise over our pool. The easy access to Old Town Phuket was terrific. But the best part was the amazing staff. After the first day they greeted...
The hotel's hygiene was just okay. There were a lot of drain flies in the bathroom, which made me feel like the drainage system wasn't great, causing them to fly up. However, the bedding and bathrobes were quite clean, and I really liked the toiletries provided. The soundproofing in the room was very poor; you could hear people speaking loudly. The pool's privacy was also just average. The hotel breakfast...
We had the best time at this hotel beyond our expectations, the service is amazing, the staff is incredible they really look after you and everything you might need, they never say no. It is also near on Carnival magic and Fantasea.😍😍😍
The rooms were clean, and the staff were polite and provided excellent service.
Good hotel. However, I was checked in late, which was unpleasant after an overnight flight.
The hotel environment is generally quiet and peaceful. However, when checking out, they were unwilling to grant even a 30-minute late checkout. As for the Shimmer restaurant within the hotel, there's one waitress who seems to have a split personality. Her demeanor and attitude towards white guests and Asian guests are completely different. White guests are allowed to use the beach loungers just by...
📍 Twinpalms MontAzure, opened in 2019, is a moderately priced hotel that still feels relatively new in most aspects. The rooms are apartment-style and decent in size, but the public areas are a bit small. The hotel only has one all-day dining restaurant 🍴. Excellent value for money ,large swimming pool and all a very warm welcome, wonderful place for my family, staff are very attentive and care,Amazing place, We will back to stay again next trip.
The Rawai zone resort is quiet and very suitable for those who really want to relax. The hotel is located by the sea, offering views of small islands. Overall the room was comfortable and spacious. Service was generally ok with turndowns being in the later part of the afternoon. Views were great although getting around to popular areas like Kamala and Patong did require travelling a car.
Great view, and staff was hospitable! Pretty close to Kamala beach
The rooms facing the road are a bit noisy. The rooms with a view are much better. Road-facing rooms aren't worth the price. The cleanliness is acceptable, but the disposable slippers are slippery when wet. The quality of the disposable amenities doesn't match a hotel of this caliber; they're really poor.
A small but beautiful hotel! The infinity pool is absolutely stunning, and all the staff are incredibly warm and attentive. It's not far from Patong Beach, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle while still being very convenient. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied.
The service was friendly and very helpful for every request. The beds were comfortable and the food (we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel) was very decent. The pool area was dreamy with a great view.

We had an amazing time! The hotel is really nice, great location from the beach, rooms were wonderful with great balconies, and the staff was the highlight for us.
Big shot out to Jig and Mew at the coffee bar. They truly made our experience. We had to work late a couple nights and they were so accommodating and kind. They made us fell very welcome and comfortable. It was stressful to find a place...
Nice!
The hotel restaurant was excellent, but what made it special was the service. A huge thanks to Nook and Joy — they were so friendly, professional, and always had a big smile on their faces. They made us feel very welcome!
I had an amazing stay at Zenseana Resort and Spa, and a big part of it was thanks to Mew. She gave me the best attention I’ve ever received at a hotel. Her customer service skills are outstanding—she was kind, attentive, professional, and always willing to help with a genuine smile. She truly made me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay.

Many people write that the bathroom is visible from the bedroom and that the door does not close completely.
1. In the room I stayed in, that area was very well separated, and the inside of the bathroom was not visible at all.

3. Another point people mention is that the room is small.

We spent 12 nights at the Zenseana Hotel. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything we needed, so nothing was missing! The hotel’s location was great—about a 5-minute walk to the beach. The best thing in this hotel is the location. It is in the northern part of Pathong beach. Not too far a way from Bangla road but still in quiet area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Truly amazed by it's location, the views and the service. What a lovely resort in Kata, by the rocks of course and got billion worth of views ❤️ amazing service, food and drinks are great. I had dinner with a stunning sunset view — absolutely beautiful, I really loved it. The food could be improved a little, but honestly, I didn’t go for a big meal. I mainly came to enjoy the view, and it was worth it! 🌅🍷
The hotel didn't have many activities for kids. Otherwise, everything was great.
Good overall, but the details still need some improvement.
The hotel's setting is quite pleasant. The living room in the 3-bedroom villa was very spacious, and the master bedroom upstairs was also large. However, the other two rooms were tiny – barely enough space to open a suitcase, and the twin beds were only 0.8 meters wide. Moreover, there was a strong, unpleasant sewer smell in the living room. Sunsuri is well located on the hill close to the Nai Harn beach about 10 minutes by foot; the hotel offers free shuttle to beach every hour; Sails restaurant has nice food and we enjoyed the Christmas Eve dinner; we stayed 3 nights and really liked the less crowded area
Very nice hotel with the excellent service!

It was a perfect stay for my friend and I. Although we wished the shuttle could have more time slots to the beach but they also provide bikes. It was very easy to get to Nai Han beach (which had such huge waves). The staffs and services are very nice. Chill, peaceful foresty vibe!
We stayed in the Family Connecting Room. It was excellent — connected but separate, with a door between. The AC was quiet and easy to adjust, and the balcony had a great view. Everything was very clean across the hotel.

The breakfast was great, and the facilities met Hyatt's standards. My kids loved the bunk beds in the family two-bedroom suite, but the smaller room had no windows. Beautiful hotel with a rich breakfast spread. The only downside is its inconvenient location, with not much to do around the area. However, the hotel itself offers nice views.
The room boasts standard five-star amenities, feeling neither damp nor outdated. While the ocean view from my room wasn't spectacular due to its lower floor, its proximity to the restaurant, lobby, and pool made getting around incredibly convenient. A satisfying trip!
Aside from the slightly inconvenient location halfway up the mountain, everything else was perfect. I was very pleased with the food, ambiance, views, and service.
The pros are that the hotel is very clean, and they do a great job with pest control, so no need to worry about ants.
The cons are that the location is a bit out of the way, quite far from most attractions. There's nothing nearby, and you need a shuttle bus to get to the beach. Since the hotel is on a hill and the rooms are also on the hill, it's difficult to go for a casual stroll, as you're constantly...

Five-star review! The room layout, the sea view, and the overall service of the entire hotel were all impressive. It's perfect for just staying at the hotel and relaxing. The only downside is that it's a 40-minute drive to town. For a hotel that's been around for a while, especially a beachfront one, it's truly remarkable how well they maintain and update it.
They even upgraded my room! Check-in was super smooth and everything was on point. The beach is right downstairs 🏖️ and you can grab free towels from the concierge, plus use the hotel's umbrellas and chairs. You can also borrow a paddleboard to hit the water. They even offer different fitness classes daily, perfect for a morning workout.
Facilities: Although it's an older hotel, the rooms are spacious and well-maintained.
Cleanliness: Very clean.
Welcome fruit: The fruit was a bit dry; definitely room for improvement there.
Service: Excellent! They offer Chinese-speaking staff, and the hotel's restaurant is fantastic.
The beach right outside the hotel is also soft and fine... Highly recommended!
Exceeded my expectations! I loved the hotel's design; it was very quiet and perfect for couples. The front desk staff also spoke Chinese, and overall, there were many foreign guests staying here. Nai Harn Beach is always bustling with people every day. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
Booked this room for my parents, it's their second stay and they were very satisfied. This time, there was a young lady at the front desk who spoke fluent Chinese and was very thoughtful in assisting them. All the staff were very friendly and didn't treat them any differently; in fact, they were very enthusiastic. Thumbs up!

I just want to thanks Twinpalms for making our holiday so amazing and helping me plan my engagement. It’s such an amazing resort, it was our 2nd time staying there and we can’t wait to come back. The staff are so polite and helpful.
The property itself is wonderful, with beautifully landscaped gardens. However, there’s no direct access to the beach. You will have to cross a road and walk on a path that cuts through an area that is currently undergoing construction. Did not feel the beach vibe here. However, they do provide a shuttle service to their sister hotel and a beach club in Bang Tao.
I rate the hotel very highly. 5 plus. The pool is very comfortable. There were always enough sun beds if you wanted to sunbathe. The breakfasts are very good. The room cleaning service was every day. The location from the Surin-beach is the closest possible. This hotel is very well suited for relaxation.

The bed is soft and very comfortable, the shower has strong water pressure with hot water, and the fitness center is fully equipped like a real gym. I didn’t try the other sports facilities though.
The hotel facilities are very new and the rooms are great. My only complaint is the small pool.
The location, however, is a huge, huge, HUGE downside. There are no convenience stores or laundromats nearby, and you need a taxi to get anywhere. Taxis in Phuket are incredibly expensive, almost comparable to prices in the UK. I'd strongly advise against staying here unless you plan to rent a car or essentially...
Beautiful pool. The hotel was so nice. It lools like a ship. Just far if you need a food or grocery but overall if you stay so beautiful.
I mainly came here to play tennis. Hotel guests get a 10% discount on tennis lessons, but you need to book in advance, otherwise you might not get your preferred coach. There are 4 indoor and 2 outdoor courts, which was very convenient as my child had tennis lessons arranged.
The gym looked great, but I didn't get a chance to use it.
The pool isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate for both kids...
We booked two rooms, one for my parents and one for me. They were both very spacious and comfortable, offering views of the surrounding islands. The only downside was the inconvenient transportation; we needed a taxi to go anywhere. The hotel offers a dedicated shuttle service for a fee, which needs to be paid in advance. It takes about an hour to get to popular beaches (500 THB), Phuket Old Town is...
Nice place to stay. Very friendly stuff. One con for me was the fact that the hotel is located far away from all the best beaches ⛱️.

On arrival at The Pavilions, we were warmly welcomed by Louise. She was generous with her time, and the personal touch was much appreciated.
Unfortunately, our room was not ready despite it being the official check-in time. We were told we would need to wait half an hour, which ultimately turned into an hour. While we were offered a complimentary drink during the wait, we would have much preferred...
We stayed at the Ocean view villa. Totally amazing place. Huge pool area with nice sea views and sun sets. Free espresso, water, tea and plenty of amenities. We booked directly with them so we had some nice perks included. Fantastic breakfast as well. So cozy and romantic setting. Everything was spectacular from start to finish. Thanks!
This resort is like a little slice of peace and paradise hidden away in Phuket. Our room was basically a 2 person flat with a fantastic bath, super cozy couch (perfect for a movie night) and tons of space. The only problems were that the air con was too cold, the light switches were a bit hard to navigate sometimes, and that we had two twin beds, but plenty of space for bigger beds which wouldve been...
The Pavilions Phuket – A Tranquil Hilltop Escape
The Pavilions Phuket offers an exceptional blend of comfort, style, and attentive service, creating an atmosphere of calm and exclusivity. Perched on a quiet hillside overlooking the Andaman Sea, the resort provides a peaceful retreat away from the busier parts of Phuket while remaining just a short drive from beaches, shopping, and local dining.
The...
We stayed nine nights in a Spa Pavilion Villa and honestly loved everything about it. The villa was spacious, spotless and even nicer than in the photos. I got engaged here and the team (especially Ben!) helped me organise a private dinner by the water that turned out absolutely perfect. Everyone was friendly and easy to talk to, and the whole place had such a calm, White Lotus kind of vibe. Great...
It was our first time in Phuket, my partner and I cannot express just how wonderful our stay was with The Pavilions Phuket!
We were taken aback by just how big the resort was and how we had to take a buggy to get around – we felt so pampered and spoiled. All the staff were so lovely, friendly and always welcoming us with a smile. There was a staff member who I forgot to get her name but she helped...

Enjoy our stay with Noku Phuket! Great location and hotel
I do not normally write a review , but as a constant traveller across Asia, NOKU Phuket managed to pleasantly surprise me with its serene ambience, fabulous spa and more so by its extremly polite , very warm and very courteous staff.
Veritably a BRILLIANT refuge !
Will definately come again !
Only one night but bad experience. The hotel was very nice, but despite being almost empty, they put me in a room with a connecting door. The family next door wasn't doing anything unusual—talking, playing cards until late at night, laughing—but it felt like they were in my room, I could hear every word and sound. When I asked at the reception, they said ALL rooms in my category have connecting doors...
Had a great time while staying at Noku, super b
Villa Mint is big and comfortable to stay with friends and family. It even includes snack, fruit and drinks in villa which are complimentary for us to enjoy when we stay by the private pool. Very enjoyable and pleasant! The breakfast at the hotel is a highlight during our stay. It was served in buffet style with egg and noodles station. Although the selection...
Our stay at Noku Phuket was simply fantastic. We stayed three nights in a pool villa, and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy time together, and completely switch off.
The villa was modern, spacious, and very beautiful. The bathroom was large and stylish, and the private pool was amazing. We spent most of our time in our villa and really enjoyed the privacy. We even ordered dinner to our villa...
