Reviews
We stayed in a Premium Comfy Room with a bathtub and balcony, and it exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious with ample storage and all the necessary amenities provided. The bathtub was surprisingly big — perfect for a couple to relax together after a long day. The bed was super comfortable, and we enjoyed excellent sleep throughout our 4-night stay.
The infinity pool was definitely one of the biggest highlights of the resort. Watching the sunset from the pool overlooking the ocean was an unforgettable experience. It’s the perfect spot to relax, click pictures, or simply soak in the view.
The breakfast spread was good with a decent variety of options. While the items were slightly repetitive across days, the quality and taste were satisfying.
Another great convenience was the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service to Patong and Bangla Road, running every hour from 9:30 AM, with the last shuttle at 8:30 PM — making it easy to explore and return comfortably.
Overall, Oceanfront Beach Resort is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for relaxation, comfort, and beautiful sunset views in Phuket. Would definitely recommend it!
The best part of our stay was the kids’ nursery — fully equipped, clean, and very welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and caring with my child. He was always happy and excited to go there.
Special thanks to Mia and Tena 🤍
HOWEVER I don't think it's a true 5 star resort, it's more of a solid 4 star. The main reason I say this is because there isn't a spa (even though in some places it's implied), and there is only really one restaurant (they count the pool bar and breakfast buffet as separate restaurants but they aren't really because it's the same food). Furthermore, the service was very good but not on par with a true 5 star experience. For example, the housekeeping came at irregular times, so some days they arrived in the morning before we had left for breakfast, but when we asked them to come back later, we'd come back after several hours and yet our room still hadn't been cleaned. Some days we'd get all 4 towels replaced, some days only 1 or 2, etc. These are not major issues generally but again it's something that I would not expect at a true 5 star resort. I would still recommend staying here but don't expect it to be on par w/ top top level 5 star resorts.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, especially as a family travelling with a baby.
We had clearly shared our international flight details in advance and informed the resort that a baby was travelling with us. Due to a flight delay from Sydney, we arrived around 11:30 pm. From the moment we checked in, the night reception staff were rude, careless, and showed zero empathy.
Our baby needed milk. We were bluntly told “kitchen is closed, nothing can be done”. No alternatives were offered — no help ordering from outside, no assistance even if we paid. After a long international journey, we were left without food and without help, while our baby cried for a long time from hunger.
We then asked for help to clean our baby’s milk bottle. This was also refused. Only after repeatedly insisting and raising our voice did staff reluctantly assist. No family should ever have to fight with hotel staff to meet a baby’s basic needs. This was a distressing, humiliating, and unacceptable first night.
The next morning, despite having two bookings under the same stay, the hotel refused shuttle service for one booking and simply told us to “contact Booking.com” instead of taking responsibility or even listening.
We paid extra to upgrade our room, and on the very same evening, the bathroom drain clogged and water flooded into the room. While a plumber came quickly, this should never happen in a paid upgrade.
To be fair, a few staff members were excellent and deserve recognition:
• Nicole (bar/kitchen) – kind, proactive, and genuinely helpful with our baby.
• Ken (kitchen) – polite and supportive.
• Somza Aloha (kids’ area) – warm, caring, and great with children.
Unfortunately, these individuals were exceptions. Front desk night staff and overall management standards are extremely poor.
This resort markets itself as family-friendly, but based on our experience, it is absolutely NOT suitable for families with babies. Poor attitude, no accountability, and no basic compassion.
I strongly advise families to look elsewhere.
Food: The dining experience was phenomenal, with an extensive variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options that catered to every palate. Every meal was a culinary delight!
Rooms: The rooms were nothing short of spectacular—super luxurious with every amenity you could ask for.
Location & View: The resort offers breathtaking views, located right by the beach, making it the perfect spot for relaxation.
Accessibility: It’s just a few kilometers from Patong Beach, and the resort provides a convenient taxi service every hour, making it easy to explore the area.
Overall Experience: This is by far the best resort I’ve ever visited! Everything from the food to the service and ambiance exceeded my expectations.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing beach getaway.
Enjoyable stay and very pleasent hotel.
Excellent rooms and very nice buffet breakfast and on site cafe/rest with good value meals.
Great pool.
Handy shuttle bus to town.
The staff were nice - i knocked off one star only as communication was a bit restricted due to language issues. Of couse their English is nevertheless much better than my Thai!!
I'd recommend and would stay again.
While you spend a lot of dollars, all the towels and sheets are bloody or filthy and dirty, and there are diff marks(sex, tea, cosmetics) of previous customers on everything.
Do not be fooled by the beautiful appearance of the hotel, it is not worth the money (unfortunately I paid more than 2,000$)
If you are care about your family’s health you should choose another place, if you want to experience different problems and see a dirty luxury hotel it’s a good option
The manager is a rude person and she only offers dinner for lots of their problems and their receptions only laugh when you are talking about dirty things
The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Patong about 10-20 minutes to get to the main area due to traffic.
Rooms had a bit of a musty smell possibly from the aircon.
If you’re trying to be budget wise get your laundry done elsewhere for less.
