Modern and very cosy hotel. Has a great location: on the one hand in the center of the whole active life of Patong, on the other - a bit removed from the noise. Suitable for active tourists.

Location: on the second line on Patong beach, 47 km from the airport, 500 m from the beach.
Consists of two 6-storey buildings.
Total area: 28, 500m2.
The hotel has 418 rooms.
Beach: public sandy beach, 500 m from the hotel (2 coastline). Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses - a fee, towels – free of charge. Between the hotel and the beach is a road and promenade. There is a Shuttle to the beach.

Firstly, the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. I requested for the bedsheets to be changed, however it appeared that they were not changed at all. I had purposely left visible traces of hair on the bed as a reference, and when I returned to the room, the same traces were still there. This clearly showed that the bedsheets had not been replaced, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.
It also appeared that proper housekeeping was not carried out. There was no evidence of vacuuming being done at all, as hair was visibly present on the floor. The lack of basic cleanliness was very obvious and concerning. Additionally, the toilet would flood completely every time I showered, making it extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable to use.
Regarding the room view, I was initially told that it would be a nice view, but the actual view did not match what was described. However, I understand that different people may have different perspectives on what is considered a “nice view,” so this is a less concerning issue compared to the others.
The attitude of the staff was also a concern. From what I observed, many of the staff seemed to work based on their mood. While a few were polite, the majority appeared unfriendly and unapproachable. Their expressions often looked stern, which made interactions uncomfortable.
In particular, during the breakfast buffet, when I asked for simple or special requests, some staff would rudely point to items or directions without explanation, rather than assisting properly or communicating politely. This made the dining experience unpleasant and did not reflect proper hospitality standards.
Housekeeping was the biggest issue during my stay. Basic amenities were often missing, including:

No toothbrush
No face or hand towels
No floor mat
No bathrobe
These items were not just missing once — they were inconsistently replenished throughout my stay, which made the experience frustrating and inconvenient.
Given the price paid for this stay, it feels like I was only paying a premium for the location. The overall service and standards did not justify the cost.
Overall, this stay did not meet expectations in terms of cleanliness, service, and basic hospitality standards. I would personally choose to stay elsewhere if I visit Phuket again.
The experience started at check-in with a front desk receptionist who was rude and condescending. Throughout the conversation she rolled her eyes and spoke in a very unpleasant manner, which set a negative tone right away.
When we entered our room, it was clearly not clean. We also noticed ants around the minibar/fridge area and the coffee station. We reported it immediately and were told it would be cleaned. After returning from a long day out, nothing had been cleaned and the ants were still there. Even the trash bins had not been emptied or replaced.
Around 12:30 AM, a hotel staff member came twice to spray the room. It became obvious this was not a real solution, and the next day we requested to change rooms. Even that request was met with attitude and an unfriendly approach, instead of basic hospitality.
To make things worse, the hotel decided to accommodate a large number of guests who were stranded in Phuket, which resulted in overcrowding everywhere. Unfortunately, guests who paid full price and came for a honeymoon were the ones affected. Breakfast was chaotic: long lines just to enter the dining room, constant queues for food, and many items running out. It was very disappointing that the hotel did not manage the situation better (for example by splitting breakfast times or adding staff and supplies).
Overall, we were extremely disappointed by the poor service and low cleaning standards. Aside from the location, I would not recommend this hotel.
A special thank you to Chef Bright for the delicious breakfast — the food was fresh, well-prepared, and made every morning a great start to the day. Also, Ms. Snooker at the front desk was outstanding. She was very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the stay even better.
I truly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend M Social Hotel to anyone looking for great service and a relaxing stay. I will gladly come back again!
The chefs are truly amazing, especially Chef Bright. He went above and beyond to make us delicious gluten-free pancakes and made us feel so special and well cared for. The team was incredibly accommodating and attentive to our dietary needs, which meant so much to us.
The service, food, and overall atmosphere were fantastic. We felt genuinely welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel, and a huge thank you to Chef Bright and the wonderful staff!

Even the air conditioning was faulty. We already reported these issues to the front desk, but the problems were never resolved. I hope you can investigate this properly and give us a reasonable explanation. We paid a five-star price but received a very poor hotel experience.
