The room smells bad. There is a musty smell. The air conditioner is very noisy and I can't turn on the air conditioner while opening the door. The air conditioner broke down on the last day.

We upgraded to a room with direct pool access, which they offered upon check-in. The hotel is spotless, with friendly and efficient staff. You cannot get much closer to the beach or the main street for the shops and restaurants, but there was no noise to be heard. WE WOULD BOOK AGAIN WITHOUT A DOUBT.

It’s difficult to book taxis, the location is quite far, no convenience stores nearby, had to walk for around 18 minutes to reach the nearest 7eleven. The hotel amenities were ok and the staff friendly, they helped me exchange money. I didn’t like that I had to wait till 3pm to get my room. Most hotels do 2pm. The room was ok, but there was no tooth paste or toothbrush.

I stayed at the Tulip Inn for 3 months mid Aug to mid Nov 2021. Room was large and very nice, great location, and room cleaning was excellent. I miss my morning walks on Patong Beach right outside the front door. The rate paid versus the quality of the room and location was high value. I have some great memories of my time in Phuket and at this hotel.

Don't let past reviews give you too much of a false impression. The place has recently gotten new management, and our stay in Tulip Inn was great! Nice sized, clean rooms. Fine showers, decent and well kept beds. Very short walk from the beach too. Only issue that some might find, would be the lack of an elevator.

Prefect location. It’s just a walking distance from a department store and a shopping mall. Even the street is busy the room is quiet except strange sound from the air conditioner in the middle of the night.

We expected more from this hotel. Our room wasn't comfortable, and the sounds of passing traffic were extremely noisy at night. There were insects in the bed linens, and the room was damp. The building is extremely old and poorly maintained, with visible damage everywhere. The room had a constant damp and musty smell. The bed, pillows, and sheets also smelled heavily of humidity, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. The staff are very friendly, helpful and offer great hospitality. The rooms are cleaned every day and the pool is always refreshing. The breakfast can be a bit better, but otherwise this is a great place.
