The hotel is quite new and modern, with a nice design. Rooms are spacious, the pool has a great city view, and the gym is very good. Breakfast is okay — a basic selection, nothing special.
I want to genuinely thank the bar/pool team and housekeeping. They were the best part of the stay: always polite, friendly, and helpful. Drinks were always available at the bar, cocktails were good and reasonably priced, and the room was cleaned very well every day. The housekeeping team was welcoming and happy to assist, and they truly created a relaxing holiday atmosphere.
Please be aware that there is a 1,000 THB fee for bringing a guest, which was not mentioned anywhere on Booking.com. This lack of transparency was disappointing. When I asked for the manager’s name, the reception staff were reluctant to provide it. The manager was also not very helpful and did not demonstrate a guest-friendly approach. After I raised a complaint, the attitude toward me changed noticeably and the previously friendly approach disappeared.
The location is also something to consider: the hotel is a bit far from both the beach and the city center. Considering the price and overall service level, you can likely find a better option in a more convenient location

I had a guest visit me during my stay, and hotel staff disclosed that private information to another guest. I have no idea why anyone on staff would share personal details about a guest’s visitors with anyone else.
It’s not their business, and it’s a serious breach of privacy.
This incident had a real impact on me and completely destroyed my trust in the hotel. Privacy and discretion are basic expectations at any property, especially at this price point. After this experience, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.

The staff were not friendly, especially one person named Jame. He was rude when my friend came to visit me briefly and claimed the hotel charges 1,000 baht for visitors. When I asked to see this policy, he couldn’t provide any proof because there was none.
I later complained to the hotel manager named May, about the staff’s attitude. She was also not cooperative. When I asked her to show me the policy, she showed a rule stating that if a person joins the guest for the night, they will be charged 1,000 baht per night. I explained that my friend was only visiting for about an hour, not staying overnight, yet she still insisted I had to pay 1,000 baht.
This attitude was not welcoming and went against their own written policy, which clearly refers to overnight stays, not short visits.
The hotel is also extremely noisy at night. Motorbikes and street noise can be heard clearly, and there is no sound insulation at all. I couldn’t sleep properly, so if you’re a light sleeper, I would not recommend staying here.
Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel. The location is good, but the poor service, unprofessional staff, and constant noise make the stay very uncomfortable.

This property is amazingly situated with reach and access to everything - Seven Eleven, money exchange, laundry services etc and only 11 min walk awya from Patong beach & Bangla Rd.
The place is elegantly furnished, spacious, cosy and warm. The room is supplied with swim towels in addition to the bath and hand towels, beach basket, bath robes, complimentary water, air conditioner, fridge, water kettle and a hair dryer. There is nice roof top pool and a small gym as well.
The staff are super friendly and welcoming and the breakfast menu is a decent one. The price is quiet good in comparison to other establishments of the same level. However, they do not have connecting rooms (for large families or families with kids). Hence, you may opt for multiple room next to each other perhaps.
It's a highly recommended property in my opinion..!

Our stay at Rack Elegant Hotel was overall great. The restaurant was excellent, the rooms were spotless, and the service throughout our stay was great. The location is also very convenient, and the hotel is extremely clean and well maintained.
However, our checkout experience completely changed our impression. The staff claimed a bathrobe was missing from our room, even though we didn’t take it. We explained that housekeeping had removed one bathrobe during cleaning and never replaced it, but they didn’t believe us. They asked us to take all our luggage out of the car and open every bag so they could check through each item, which was very embarrassing and humiliating.
It’s really unfortunate because everything else about the stay was wonderful, but that experience at checkout made us lose trust in the hotel, and we wouldn’t choose to stay there again because of it.

It was a pleasant and nice place to stay except that I stayed for 4 nights but they changed only two pillowcases during my stay.

Very elegant hotel indeed. Convenient to restaurants, pharmacies, markets, 7/11 and all. Walking distance to Patong beach. Enjoyed my stay with a very comfortable and clean room, accommodating staff and a beautiful view from the rooftop pool. Highly recommended!!

Except for the location being a 20-minute walk to Bangla Road, the hotel was excellent, with great facilities and cleanliness. Worth the stay, had rich breakfast and a cheap restaurant next to the hotel. Recommend
