Very good! Very clean and spacious room with kitchenette. Bring your own coffee, sugar, napkins, etc. none was included. No coffee maker just a kettle. Area was very quiet, parking on the street with lots of lights. Supermarket is 5 minute walk, coffee shop 2 minute walk. All in all I was very satisfied.

Great location and great price Stella Paradise is a great place to stay to save a bit of money in Hersonissos. Because there is a refrigerator and stovetop, you can store chilled drinks and prepare some of your own meals to save money. Photos are misleading, if it's in the summer you're likely to see some cockroaches in the hallways. Staff is kind + you can pay a little fee for breakfast at 8AM local time. Beware that the air conditioning only works when you put the keycard in a specific box near the door and bathroom, only then will it work.

Clean and comfortable. A short walk to the beach. The rooms are basic but air conditioned. Be aware there's no air con in the bedroom though. The supermarket below is well over odds price wise so be prepared to go further away for by our beers. It's not a busy resort, at least in June, and you are far enough off the main drag to miss the hustle and bustle from the seafront despite being a few minutes...

Property is located in an excellent location No elevator and we needed to walk up two flights of stairs that were steep. Standard room category are rooms with windows facing back alleys No view!! We only stayed one night. They let us store our luggage when we arrived early in the morning. The location is stellar, in the old town. But there was no parking, so we parked 15 minutes away and had to walk in with our luggage. Our room was large and clean.

We only visited the restaurant for a few lunches. Very tasty food and very big portions! We loved that they fish was fresh and not frozen and have plenty of choices. We stayed at the beach and paid 8e for two sunbeds and umbrella and even received two small bottles of water. You could also use the pool as a guest.

We didn't stay here but hired some sunbeds & umbrellas on the beach (€8 per set). The loungers were comfy and the umbrella provided good shade. The waiter was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was simple yet tasty and the prices were reasonable.

This is the second time that we stay at this hotel. The location is perfect. The bar is right on the beach, plays soft music, the personnel super friendly and knowledgeable, and best of all, at sunset, you and your drink, are alone on that long beautiful beach. Definitely we will be back next year.

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water. The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

My only caveat about the Helena is its lack of an elevator - it's a rare hotel in the old town that has one. The same is true in the old towns in other Cretan cities. Lovely staff and cute little hotel right in the middle of the old town. In a very picturesque walk way. It’s a little dated and has very tiny rooms with even tinier bathrooms with a little personal shower. Not ideal for two. If you have a large suitcase good luck finding space for it

Had a top floor room with a view to die for, close to the harbour quite rustic with modern bathroom. Booking direct was easy with assistance / advice on parking and an early check in, rapid response to a few emails. Warned prior that there was no lift but had assistance with bags etc. Service wise, for our stay of a couple of nights George was a mine of information and assistance, very much appreciated

Beautiful accomodation in great spot. In the middle of the city, next to all the shops and sights of Chania, with mesmerizing view to the church of Agios Nikolaos. The building is a restored old manor which fits perfectly in with the beauty of the city. The staff was very polite and helpful.

This place is so charming, clean and adorable. The staff are incredibly sweet and helpful. Checkin ends at 9:30 pm but the owner waited for us until 12:30 am and met us at the end of the block to lead us to the hotel because access was a little confusing. We loved our stay here. It is continently located to harbour, restaurants, shopping and parks. The only downfalls about this location is the noise at night. It starts to settle down around 1-2am, which was difficult with young ones. You cannot go outside and take the key if someone else is in the room or they lose electricity. The balcony was far too narrow, and there was only one folding chair that fit across the room, so it was impossible to chill on the balcony in the evening for two. A small hotel with just a few rooms and no front desk. You get the key to the front door to open it up when you return. No elevator. But it was clean and cozy and had a teensy balcony over the little street below.

The rooms where alright. Regular cleaning and functioning AC. What makes me lower my rating was the bitter attitude from the staff and the route you had to take to get to the restaurant/beach. It was basically a back alley with cars and huge piles of trash.
