You can't beat Olympic for the location, nor for the price. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was fine. Olympic has a pleasant terrace on the top floor, where you can sit and read and watch the planes take off from the nearby HER airport. My only complaint was that the smallness of the bathroom meant no towel racks, only a couple of hooks behind the door.

Below average The nice lobby is deceiving. The rooms are very old and mine was very dark (the only windows faced a skylight well). Decently clean but I found a hair in the jam at breakfast (I guess that it can happen but it is the first time that it happens to me, in the more than 30 years in which I have been travelling). Stayed for 3 nights and it was such an amazing experience! The staff were so friendly and attended to every need. The view of the ocean from the pool and breakfast was amazing as well. Very conveniently located next to a bus stop to get to other beaches. Definitely recommend Porto Allegre!
