Had a great stay here. Personel is friendly and we got some great tips about things to do in the area. Before this we had a very dissapointing 4 star hotel, so this was a really pleasant surprise. Vip room is a bit more expensive, but totally worth it for the view alone.

This is a very good family-run 2-star hotel. Cleaning is done every day, and once in three days, the towels and bed sheets are changed. We stayed here for two nights. The location in the old town is great, everything is near. The room was clean, with everything you need, even the iron. Wifi was great. One notice to people with car, you can park for free about 5-10 minutes from a hotel, there is parking space by the street right below the fortress. Also, there are paid parkings nearby.

The balcony was far too narrow, and there was only one folding chair that fit across the room, so it was impossible to chill on the balcony in the evening for two. Stayed here for 2 weeks and couldn't be more happy, absolutley good value for the price! The best location in town, good sized room and balcony. Porto Veneziano Hotel is right in front of harbor. Our hotel balcony has beautiful harbor view. The breakfast was excellent with different choices. The staff is a bit laid back. Great, clean hotel with amazing breakfast. The room was spotless, with a balcony, a comfortable bed, fresh towels and a great bathroom. It's a good spot to stop if you're looking for shopping and quick access to the harbor. Parking is difficult. The staff was nice and helpful in answering all of our questions. The rooms are a little run down and very noisy with the planes flying out of the airport, so bring your earplugs! Overall, it's not bad for a quick stop, but I wouldn't recommend it for an extended stay.

The Marin Hotel was a wonderful place to stay for our stop in Heraklion A great location near the ferry port and airport. A short walk to markets, restaurants and attractions.

Ideal location, close to the harbour, the old city, the bus to Knossos and the bus terminal. Very helpful receptionists. The view during breakfast is fabulous. Lots of choice from the buffet. The rooms aren't too big but after all you don't come here to sit all day in a room. Very reasonable price.

Very nice clean and comfortable for a very good price, right across the street from the ocean. The only improvement I could recommend is get some shower curtains that are about 2 inches longer. The one in our room was too short to contain water in the shower stall, so the bathroom floor got all wet. But other than that, everything was great!

Good if you want just a simple room. Always, you enjoy what you pay for. In this motel-type property, run by the owners, you find the simplest possible room. Probably it should be cheaper to be consistent with money-for-value. The good points is its vicinity to the sea front and the town of Sitia. Other than that, it was clean and friendly.

This hotel is located opposite the beach and we had a beautiful view. The room was small but provided everything we needed. It is located quite a distance from the harbour but was only 5€ in a taxi. Upon arrival, we were accommodated in the basement of the hotel. The room was small and not very cozy. The food selection was monotonous throughout the stay. The hotel pool was perfect, as the beach is 600m away, so you don't want to walk all the time. The hotel bar was excellent, acceptable drinks and as a bonus ice cream. Customer service was very good. I felt the food was mediocre and the rules around the all inclusive package were poor. You can only enjoy non branded vodka and scotch at happy hour or pay for brand name anytime. Not cool for a 3star. The menu was restricted as well!

Don’t be confused with the bad reviews. It’s a great place right next to the beach. If you look for smth hip and modern but soulless that’s not for you. But this place got its charisma, friendly people and again - the greatest location! Very good combination of price and outcome.
