Lovely small family run hotel and super friendly owners.

I've stayed at this hotel three times. In 2001, 2002 and 2018. It is my favorite hotel on the island of Crete. I like everything there: the rooms, the breakfast, the garden, the hospitality of Olimpios (the owner of the hotel), the swimming pool. Thank you, Armonia for the three wonderful holidays! I'm trying to get there again in September 2022.

It was a nice stay. The outdoor area with the pool is very nice. Good location and you can quickly walk to the beach and the party street. Staff is friendly. Rooms are OK but cleanliness could be a bit better. What is really annoying is that you have to pay an extra €8 per day for the air conditioning, which is not mentioned anywhere beforehand. I have never experienced anything like that anywhere...

This a good little hotel, not a tourist factory with thousands people. The team and management are very nice and provide good service. Swimming pool is very pleasant without any chemical products but very clean. Cleaning of the room can be done each day including Sunday up to 2PM (except the check-out day), for our part, we requested only each 3 days.There is a lot of flowers, plants and a tall cactus...

I stayed 15 days in this hotel and I greatly appreciated the welcome, the smiles.... The swimming pool is very pleasant, close to everything, I highly recommend it, far from hotels where there are 1500 people.. This hotel is perfect.

Friendly and nice place close to the beach, shops, restaurants, doctor, pharmacy. The accomodation has a pool, balcony and nice owner who helps you everything you need. We could park in front of the building on the street.

Everything was perfect, very kind service from the reception desk, very close to the beach, clean room and bath.

I've been here 9 times already and have never been disappointed. Simply a hotel to relax in. Clean, friendly, great location, lovely pool, and superb hosts. Breakfast can be had at a neighboring hotel if you book it, but there's a bakery in town that has super delicious things.

Lovely clean, spacious studios equipped with all you need for a self catering stay. The owner, his wife and son were most welcoming and friendly and always had a cheerful greeting for us. We had a wonderful time during our summer holidays! The hotel offered a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Fabulous stay with Eko early June, for a big birthday celebration. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely couple running this beautiful site. A beautiful location, very clean, very friendly hosts, close to the beach, equipped with everything you need.

We spent 8 days there and it was a wonderful vacation. The rooms were nice and spotlessly clean. The operators are incredibly nice people and gave us a lot of tips for our trips. We were also able to rent a car at the hotel and everything went perfectly there too. Hopefully we'll be back soon.

We had a lovely holiday at this fine hotel. Great choice of food and a comfortable bedroom. The staff are kind and helpful and the area is delightful. There are critical reviews of this hotel out there but they say more about the writer than the hotel. Yes it is 850 metres from the beach but that information is clearly stated. The price reflects that as well. There is so much to do in the area.

Me & my hubby stayed here & found the hotel to be lovely we booked bed & breakfast for 2 weeks, the hotel was extremely clean & well run.The staff were all very friendly & the cleaners worked very hard to keep everywhere very clean & tidy - we had a lovely relaxing stay

We have been to this hotel eight times and once again we had a wonderful time. The hotel is a small family run hotel. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff they are warm welcoming and friendly. Room was slightly slightly dated but perfectly functionable. Breakfast had lots of choice, and pool area was very nice. Access to the hotel is quite steep but still doesn’t take too long to get to the beach. Would recommend/stay again.

Nice, clean hotel with decent facilities. We knew the location was up a long, pretty steep hill and were prepared for that as we are reasonably fit 60 somethings lol. We walked down to the bottom many times and also walked up a few times in the day. There is a free minibus transfer down/up every couple of hours but last journey up is 9pm so if you are out and about after that a taxi from the bottom...

Hotel was exceptionally clean and is a little out of the way, which makes for a peaceful nights sleep. Staff are really friendly and helpful. You can hire towels for the pool for €1.00 per day. A wonderful family hotel located right on the seashore, just a two-minute walk from the beach. The staff are amazing and always kind, ready to help with anything you need. The airport is only a 15-minute bus ride away. A perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday

Close to the airport (it was a plus for us as we don't like long travels, and we could watch planes coming to landing at the beach) in a nice little village, but full of shops, tavernas, and restaurants. Great hotel and service – we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the friendly, helpful staff. The pool was excellent, and the beach was just a short walk away. The hotel delivered what made us choose it: location right in front of the beach, pool, nearby a broad offer of restaurants and other commodities. We were also positively impress by the service minded personnel. However, the cleaning was poor. The floor was often full of sand and dust were never cleaned from the surfaces.

We visited for the day to use the sun loungers on the beach. Sun loungers were €12 for two plus parasol. Great quality loungers and luxurious thick and comfy mattresses. Quiet side of Malia beach and great spot. Had the best strawberry daiquiris we’ve had,the other cocktails were good too! I had a really nice time here, rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom was really modern. And the view was magnificent. I had a view over the pool and the nice blue sea. The people that worked there are really nice and helpful.

Didn’t stay at the apartments but used the cafe/bar and beach beds daily. Super comfy beds and great food with friendly staff. Thank you for the raki with honey which was delicious. I haven't stayed in a hotel but I've spent two very nice days on the beach. Sunbeds are for very reasonable price (normal 6€ per set, more comfy one 10€ per set). There is a shower on a beach and very clean restroom just few steps from the beach. Staff are also very friendly here.

This self catering hotel suited us perfectly as it had a great pool which was not busy and it was only a few steps down onto the sandy beach. I recently had the most amazing stay at the Sunshine studio in Malia, and I cannot express how impressed I was with every aspect of my experience. Amazing room, friendly staff and perfect to calm down. Downsides are the steep hill to get to the hotel so a car is definitely needed here and the breakfast was kind of disappointing. Other than that everything was perfect.

I had a wonderful stay at the nest. A special place with amazing staff who go above and beyond to make your stay special. A wonderful overnight stay at this hotel. I had just been discharged from the local hospital and booked this hotel very late at night and arrived approximately 10pm. All in all, a good hotel, although quite expensive. Breakfast was served in a paper bag, with only three options to choose from (which we weren't given anyway), and it was carbohydrate-heavy, not bad in itself, but monotonous. The room was very noisy, and we couldn't stand the air conditioning, so we decided to sleep with the window open.

Good location in the edge of the old town. Strange entrance where you have to climb upstairs in order to get the elevator. Weird disabled lift where you have to climb over the metal bannister to get the lift.

My son and I stayed here for 4 nights. When we arrived we were shown our room, but there was an issue with the door. We reported it to reception and the maintenance chap came straight away. We stay 1 week ,the rooms are small, we have some issues wit the air conditioning in the room. We had such a lovely time here at the Zeus Palm Beach. We had no booking at the hotel, but had sunbeds on the beach. We also ate and had some drinks at the bar. Our stay was wonderful. We loved the little pool and easy access to beach and restaurants as well as the on-site parking. Breakfast was tasty and the service was lovely. The only thing I would mention is that our sink was clogged but repaired a few days into our stay.

A beautiful modern hotel located on the edge of the old town with a stunning roof top bar where you can watch the sun set.
