- Many sunbeds stay in the shade much of the day; sunlit spots are reserved early and left unused. Staff could free reserved but empty sunbeds for others

Analipsi is a small village with nice restaurants and bars one end and large all inclusive hotels the other. October was relatively quiet but we had good weather and it met all our requirements

Areas for improvement: - Room TVs are modern but lack smart features, and hotel policy prevents HDMI connections. We couldn’t stream on the big screens and had to use a laptop—frustrating in 2025

Marni is a place that people are proud to work for, and, although we arrived the last week of October and we know everyone is tired and looking forward to a break, staff still give it their all! It is very much appreciated and we are very grateful for making yet another week at Marni village so memorable and relaxing! We will hopefully be back next year as in Yannis’ words ‘it is now a home away...

Nice pool bar and food, always open, and a short walk to the beautiful village or beach. Makes for a wonderful holiday every year

The hotel itself had well kept gardens and pool areas. The cleaning was the best we have ever had at a hotel, with towel and bedding changed every other day and the apartment was spotless

Amazing place Very clean tidy and well maintained. Pool and pool bar area just perfect. Good prices and staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. Food at pool bar good quality and good portions for a decent price

Great property have stayed there 3 times now and found it to be a good base near to every thing sea restaurants shops bars transport can’t fault it staff are lovely very friendly and helpful

It is located in a very calm area. Room was cleaned, comfy and delightful. A pool is located in front of the main building, they give you free towels and you can change them every 3 or 4 days

We were very pleased by the hotel, the service and the staff but they should work a little bit more on the room cleaning. It is said that they change the bathroom towels everyday and the linens every 3 days

You can choose to eat your meal inside, in the restaurant or close by the pool. They also serve drinks (with payment) during dinner time and after. Big thanks to the special barman Ben and Alkeo

The area close to the pool is very nice and comfortable. A bar is located close to the pool, they have a menu for snack and drinks, the prices are very economic and the quality is very good

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe at this hotel. Our first impression was good. It was running smoothly when we got to the rooms. There are pool facilities as well while waiting

Wonderful stay at Kassavetis Center! We had a great experience during our stay at Kassavetis Center. The location is perfect — close to everything you need, from the beach to shops and restaurants

Basic, clean accommodation and a lovely pool area and bar. Unfortunately, the hotel description doesn't match the reality so we have felt somewhat short changed

The shower blocked at one point and toaster packed up but all were sorted quickly. The pool and sun bathing area were good and the poolside bar/ cafe ok

There are no cookers, no live entertainment or kids clubs and no games room. The pool was also closed and cordoned off

The other disappointing thing is that almost everything nearby is closed and the village and 'beach' are basically a construction site

This resort is so beautiful! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was truly magical! The staff is so friendly and the food was amazing! We are already planning on coming back for many years to come!

My only critics of Village Heights were: 1. What is/is not included in half board is not well explained at time of booking - I only found out this information on day 2. The power cut out multiple times daily

The bar staff were incredible and really made the evenings memorable the food an entertainment was brilliant. Loved the a la carte options and the view from the upstairs restaurant was amazing at sunset

There were numerous activites at the resort and a convenient bus to the beach area. Beach Comber at Stallis beach was beautiful, relatively quiet, served excellent cocktails and amazing food

Only for a few seconds, so it never caused an issue, but it was slightly worrying. The sign at the cats feeding station states they are neutered, but they are not; kittens ahoy!

Great place, quiet area, with lots of things to do in the resort and around, they offer many activities, wellness classes, and variety of restaurants

I did email to request a lower room rather than high in the hills if possible and the request was granted which we were thankful for! The room was spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets

The name of this hotel is now Elios Hill , fully renovated and in a very beautiful way... I highly recommend this hotel in the Chersonissios area...You will be fully satisfied!!!

On one occasion, she turned away a baby and told the mother to take it to the children's pool even tho it wasn't making any noise or causing bother to any other guests who clearly didn't mind their presence

Every time a child came, she would tell them to leave. On our last day, the pool was now attended by a man

Many children making noise and splashing (which nobody minded) were not being told off which supports the fact that the woman was clearly too strict

Reception staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Our room was a 60 second walk from the main pool, a slight hill but it was fine

We had the most wonderful and relaxing week here. The family who own the apartments were so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spotless and overlooked stunning views of the sea and mountains

The establishment was really well looked-after and we spent a lot of time around the poolside. We loved the fact they had happy hour and served cocktails around the poolside

We discovered the traditional villages of Piskopiano and Koutouloufari which were similar in distance and had amazing Greek restaurants. Good bus links which we used to visit Knossos Palace and Malia

The food served at the restaurant was delicious and very good value for money. We got a taxi from Heraklion airport which was around a 25 minute drive and got the bus back to the airport

The hotel, rooms, and grounds are very clean and well-maintained! The food is excellent! Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety, though it was the same every day. The only downsides were the cold water in the pool and the long walk to the promenade and beaches

It is in a beautiful location, has every facility you need but most importantly the staff were sooooo pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with smiling happy faces

My husband and I spent 5 days here a week ago. It was the perfect break from our busy lives. The hotel is a small family run concern and is absolutely charming. Lovely pool area with views over Heronissos and the sea

For every room luxury sunbeds by the private pool. Personel is fantastic, super friendly an helpfull. They made also the difference besides rooms etc. We are still there and enjoying our holiday!

We stayed in the adults only part of the hotel room 629. That part has 4 rooms with a private pool. The rooms are amazing! Large room with al large balcony and huge bathroom

I was nervous about dragging my suitcase up the hill but I was met in the parking area and everything was taken care of for me proactively. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area with a good selection of food and wine

I've just come back from this hotel (my trip was from the 10th of August till 17th). I would personally rate it for 3 stars only, as it doesn't meet all the requirements for 4 starts

Perfect view, mountains around, good food, rooms are dated but ok, clean pools, great waterpark. If you dont have a car then its a problem - hotel is in a mountain, long road up from the main street.

Such simple thing, yet there's no bottled water in rooms, food is excellent, but repeteable and often cold, there's rather limited choice of drinks, and truly all that 'all inclusive' is more of a myth than truth

Hosts seems strange at the beginning, but be sure they are really friendly and helpfull. Theirs english is not perfect but can be understood. We had room with one bedroom with double bed and two single beds

So relaxing at that point it was owned by an elderly couple who were so welcoming I have been to many places in Greece and although the accommodation was basic the atmosphere was so warm

We had a very nice stay in Anthoula village. Family atmosphere, very good staff, very nice rooms and very clean. The location is walking distance to the beach. The food was excellent and so was the pool

The pool was very good and quite quiet while we were there, which was good for me. We cannot fault the staff who were very helpful. The chef Demetrios served excellent food each day and was very attentive

Our family recently stayed at Anthoula Village, and we were especially impressed with the receptionist, Osra. She was incredibly kind and welcoming, making the check-in process easy and stress-free for all of us

The beach was within walking distance which was very accessible, The food was simply outstanding ( we booked breakfast and dinner) and all the service workers were extremely kind and amicable during our stay

Most evenings, we spent in the outdoor bar talking with Eva and other guests. We enjoyed the super relaxed atmosphere of the ‘resort. Clean and swept every day to remove the Sahara dust, as were all the deck chairs

The accommodation is very nice clean and everything you need to self cater if you want to. However Eva cooks amazing traditional Greek food for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish

In a moment of crisis when our baby wasn’t feeling well, Eva didn’t hesitate to personally take us to the hospital and make sure we were okay. Traveling with a 9-week-old baby, that level of care meant the world to us

Through most tranquil place we have stayed in the villages yet! An ideal location as it is in a great location in the centre of the village! I had a short stay in this hotel and finally extended my stay as much as possible. Stayed in a maisonette room, everything was so nice. Clean room, spacious living room, kitchen area fully equiped

Everything has been thought out carefully from the spacious sunbeds to the attentive staff who are so thoughtful and caring. A bonus we loved? The outdoor cinema which shows a film every night!

The hotel has a very cool ‘White Lotus’ vibe - the pool area is the best I’ve seen and this was our 7th time to Crete

Lovely little apartment studio stayed for ten nights the owner is always on site during the day and nothing is too much trouble. Clean rooms fresh towels, I would definitely stay again

Last minute order for me and 2 kids. The room had 3 levels, which sounds weird but actually gives plenty of space, with a kitchen, kids floor and "master bedroom" on top

Food was really good, plenty of choice everyday and all the staff were brilliant especially the chef who walked my wife round as she is Gluten Intolerant and explained what was safe for her, always had 6/7 dishes to choose from plus the salads

really nice hotel, very nice staff, only downside is the wifi is so bad i had to use mobile data the whole trip (also in the rooms). other downside is that we had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready
