Nikos and Maria always made time to have a chat with us. The hotel cat stole the show and was adorable. Mavros we miss you!! The pool was always impeccably clean every day and was nice and quiet

Rooms are adequate with everything you need although we only used the hotel as a base the pool area is spotless and grounds are well kept all the staff we encountered were polite & friendly would return in the future

We are back from a week staying here. also bins in room emptyevery other nothing else. the pool area is clean and lovely peaceful setting meau is basic as in no sides like chips. or sandwiches you have to have a main meal

We dined in the Meat at the Point restaurant, and enjoyed the quinnoa rocket salad, steak, and mushroom risotto. We truly enjoyed the private pool, ocean view, and room service options

The food was excellent both breakfast and the restaurants, plenty of options for sunbathing either with your own private pool, 3 other pools or free cabanas on the beach

Fantastic stay at Nana Princess Suites. We stayed in a private pool room with an ocean view. We had a wonderful experience from check-in to check-out

This hotel provides the highest level of attention to detail and service. One of our favorite stops in Greece. We stayed in the bed and breakfast special, and paid for our dinners which were reasonably priced

We had a room overlooking the pool above the pool bar. The mattress and pillows seemed to be brand new and we slept really well throughout our stay. We came here on a self catering basic

The couple who own the hotel are also really nice. We had a few cocktails around the pool and these were all of a good standard. We ate lunch here aswell and that was really good

Please dont let these reviews put you off as this is a loverly little place to stay. The pool and bar area is very comfortable and modern

My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old baby and my parents for 14 nights. We were welcomed by Angela herself and she was super friendly and helpful from the start

I had previously contacted Angela to request a ground floor apartment to make it easier for us we use the pushchair daily and this was sorted for when we arrived

We had 2 separate apartments, both of which were spacious and clean

This hotel is run down the sunbeds are old and need throwing away the pool is just ok , The bar is Absolutely Rubbish Bar What BAR it's absolutely Terrible ,The bar needs to be made a lot bigger with lots of stuff in it like food better ice creams better bar staff that nos how to make drinks 🍸 yes the bar was Terrible, never mind the bed rooms they was clean very basic the beds where very bad...

Would recommend if you are ok with basic no frills, of you want something for the family it will disappoint. Swimming pool was fine, place was quiet

Cheap hotel, so don't expect much, but it's clean and dining place is located 20m from sea so you can enjoy seaview while eating brekfast! If you would like to take a walk 400m west you can find huge and almost empty beach!

We loved our sundowners at the top pool bar 🍸- Mythos and lime and a Prosecco with a strawberry 🍓 - cheers! We used the tennis court a few times and it's perfectly adequate once you get used to the cracks along the service and base lines - we had good fun on the court 😁 and it was one of the reasons why we booked Bellos

Then there lovely marda (sorry ive probably spelt her name wrong). Hannah on the pool bar is so lovely. Maria in the restaurant, always chatty and helpful. All the staff make you feel at home

We have a fabulous time at Bellos for our week's holiday in early October. Liked the fact that you had a big fridge with a freezer section. Balcony was nice for a morning coffee in the sunshine

Pool areas were really nice - we preferred the upper grassy area as it was quieter. Both pool bars were great and the staff were so helpful - thank you Hannah and Costas

We did two tours, one to Knossos and Heraklion and the other to Spinalonga and Agios Nikolaos - both excellent and we were picked up from outside Bellos - we booked through GetYourGuide and our guides on both tours were excellent

20 mins uphill from hersonnisos, and quite a steep slope down to hotel, so I imagine would be challenging for people with mobility issues, but there are taxis you can get for 10 euros to Hersonissos or 10 euros up to the beautiful village of Koutouloufari

Good quality service for both accommodation and food. Room service was always checking the room to make sure it is clean with fresh towels. Great bartender service, shout out to Dimitris and Nikos

Loved this place! Looked like it was from a set from a movie. Great view of the water. Pretty private pool. Walking distance from restaurant and shops. But beware, the walk back up to the hotel is a steep one.

Just fantastic value for money good food we had a room with balcony that i would recommend any one booking because the view is idyllic Daily cleaning throughout hotel The room itself was a little soulless, but the beds were surprisingly comfortable, and we had everything we needed

If you enjoy planes, they are flying above the hotel quite often but the noise won't bother you at all because cicadas were louder :D We got used to them quite fast

Staff was nice to us and help fool. Pool and sea was the best along with the view. Definitely one of the better vacations we had so far. I hope we will go back again next year to enjoy some more

Had such a nice expirence clean room (daily cleaning) view is extraordinary pool view and beach view last but not least the manager Lambros is an amazing guy he will help you for everything just give him a call from the taxi from the airport all your trips restaurants etc

Stayed for 6 nights with teenagers. Perfect! The teenagers had their own apartment and we had one above. We had a view of Palm Beach Club, where you can rent a cot for 5 euros a day

It's really great for teenagers, and everything is within walking distance. Lambros is super friendly and arranges everything for you; all you have to do is send a message

Yes, there's some noise in the evenings from teenagers coming home walking through the hallway and the music from Palm Beach during the day, but you know that beforehand

The bedroom had air conditioning, which was absolutely essential and wonderful in the heat, plus a fridge, freezer and a small kitchen with everything we needed – very convenient! The outdoor area feels like a little oasis with a pool, pool bar, flowers and greenery

We couldn’t be happier with our stay here in Crete! From the very first moment we felt so warmly welcomed – this is a family-run hotel, and you can truly feel it

The only small downside was that the bed was a bit hard, but it was manageable. There were also some ants around the pool area, but nothing that spoiled our experience

Our 2 storey apartment was very stylishly furnished with two balconies with views towards the pool and further afield to the sea. The main kitchen/lounge was upstairs with a large bedroom and shower room downstairs

self catering and eating out, but the breakfast provided was quite substantial with lots of hot and cold choices. There is an additional tranquil garden area overlooking the pool which was our favourite place

Staff on the ball clearing tables straight away all with a smile and a word. The main pool is large and well maintained with ample lounges. Time to smile is the motto and it certainly made us smile

The Sundance apartments are in a prime position in the village of Koutouloufari. A five minute walk from the apartments brings you to the entrance to the main street where all the bars, restaurants and shops are situated

Such a lovely hotel with very hospitable service. Their pool is beautiful and has an outdoor shower. The food and drinks at the restaurant are amazing and again the service is so comforting

There’s also a supermarket right next to the hotel, which is perfect for trying local fruits and sweets. Plus, the location couldn’t be better — just a 10-minute walk to the beach and the town centre

Overall, a real gem in Crete

I noticed there was a decent amount of grime in the corners but it is such a large pool I was not too surprised. Overall this didn’t create an issues

Definitely earned the luxury title. The pool could have been heated as we did visit in the fall, but the water was beautiful and we still swam

Everything about this place is 5 stars. The a la carte dining options are incredible with 5 restaurants to choose from, all offering very different cuisine. The cocktails are made fresh and are excellent quality

We had a wonderful time at the resort. We enjoyed the spa. The food was very good. We enjoyed the community cats also. We will be back. Nick was a very big help to us throughout our entire stay.

Loved it here, very clean and quiet, arrived after 1am and barman made us a toastie, short walk to beautiful beach, bought our shopping at supermarket round the corner and by the time we walked back it had been delivered to our apartment, lovely pool and easy to walk to main road with lovely restaurants and shops

We had an 6:30 am early morning transfer to the ferry the day we checked out and they opened the kitchen and had breakfast waiting for us at 6 am The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the Paraiso Party garden was located next to our room and since we had an early morning transfer, the music made it very difficult to sleep - that would be my only recommendation for not staying in a room nearby the party...

From the moment I arrived, Kostas and Mike were so friendly and welcoming – they really make this hotel what it is, and it’s no surprise that so many guests return year after year

What a fabulous place Dreams Village is, Kostas & Mike make everyone feel welcome, what a friendly atmosphere and also a great bunch of people that stayed there! The hotel was lovely too, the pool and bar area were great, and always had plenty of sunbeds

From first arriving late at night Kostas really takes care of you. From Mike and Chef all day till Kostas in evening they can’t do enough for you to have good time. Maids lovely too rooms spotless and work tirelessly

Can’t comment on food options as we were self catering but would highly recommend the accommodation No matter what time of day always sunbeds available which adds to the comfortable stay as no towel wars as reserving is not allowed and the hotel policy is adhered to and not abused

The main thing though is the owners. It is a family run business and they really go out of the way to look after you and make you feel very welcome. We opted to include breakfast with our booking and are glad we did

Just returned to Ireland after spending 10 days at Pilot's Villas. The apartments are perfect the grounds are amazing and the family run hotel is absolutely spotless. Will absolutely be back.

We never felt the need to go to the beach, the pool area and proximity to so many restaurants made your whole stay so easy - and the terrace is the perfect place for a drink at the end of the day! We're booking to go back already and would highly recommend Pilot's villas to anyone else looking to visit Crete

The pool (as everything else) is beautiful and clean. The guest house is located in vibrant cool street and yet is very quiet and private

Maria, Manos and Stellar were all fabulous and such a big help, nothing was ever a problem. The rooms were super clean, we stayed in a deluxe double room which was enough for us both for 4 nights

Our stay at Balsamico Traditional Suites was absolutely wonderful! The place is full of authentic Cretan character, beautifully maintained, and very peaceful

Only comments for recommendations I would add is that it would have been nice for clean towels every other day, there wasn’t a real rota for this, 3 days had passed at one point

The pool and sun bed area was pristine, and there was never any battle for getting a space. Overall, for what you pay, and the style of the apartments, I think it’s great value for money and I would return!

And comments on loo roll - if you ask Lena, she will give you some toilet roll. It would be a nice touch for some soap but it’s no big deal, there is a shop that sells stuff like that pretty cheap just down the road

We were worried about some of the previous reviews complaining about paying for air con, but soon noticed this is common across the majority of self-catering apartments in Koutouloufari

It would also be nice to have a “do not disturb” sign for the door, I’d often get woken up by the cleaner against my will, even if it was to shout not to come in

Me and my partner stayed at Ippoliti in September 25. Lena and her family were very welcoming and we felt right at home

There's the sea right in front of the door, but no beach where you can actually lie down. There is a beach a few meters away, but there's little space to lie on a towel, and the sunbeds are paid for (expensive)

The apartments are very clean and spacious, and the amenities, such as the bedding, linens, towels, and kitchen, are impeccable. The location is close to everything and right by the sea

A comfortable room with a kitchen and bathroom overlooking the sea, away from the noise of the town. The rooms have nice balconies, which unfortunately we didn't use because it was cold and raining

I didn't miss any sunrise from there! The rooms were very spacious, beds were very comfy and in that small kitchen you can find everything you need. I was very impressed by the cleanliness

everything was shining with cleanliness. The place is very close to supermarkets, restaurants and 15 min by walk to the Chrysi Ammos Beach (from my opinion is the best beach in the area)

I rented a garden-view apartment for 4 people for 11 days. It's a small, very nice complex with several apartments. They're family-run, and Alexandros and his family are simply lovely

The apartments are excellent, the pool is great and the staff is very nice, especially Nikki (the manager) who gave us great tips about the good beaches in the area as well as about places to visit and good restaurants

Great nice place 5 rooms so this is very small hotels quiet and 5 star quality. The host is extremely friendly and will do everything to help and make you happy. Close to the beach, nice view and peaceful location

the kitchen was equipped with all need utensils but no kitchen towels or cooking ingredients such as salt pepper or oil and no breakfast available, but the supermarket was bearby so we were able to get anything needed quickly

this place is 10 out of 10. the rooms are stunning with every amenity. the pool is small nut crystal clear and just big enough to swim around. it's very close to the beach but very quiet woth only 8 suites

The pool was perfect we spent quite some time there, it is not crowded because the hotel has 8 rooms in total so it was perfect and peaceful, and very clean
